your product.
1.1.1 Warnings
WARNING for PACEMAKER PATIENTS: Although the pacemaker pulse inhibion funcon is available in this device,
the heart rate meter may connue to count the pacemaker rate during occurrences of cardiac arrest or some
arrhythmias. Do not rely enrely upon rate meter ALARMS. Keep pacemaker paents under close surveillance.
See this manual for disclosure of the pacemaker pulse rejecon capability of this instrument.
Disconnect the monitor and sensors from the paent before MRI scanning. Using them during MRI could cause
burns or adversely aect the MRI image or the monitor’s accuracy.
If uncertain about the accuracy of any measurement, rstly check the paent’s vital signs by any alternave
means, and then make sure the monitor is funconing properly.
The monitor is intended only as an adjunct in paent assessment. It must be used in conjuncon with clinical signs
and symptoms.
Monitor a single person at a me.
The monitor is debrillaon-proof. Verify that the accessories can funcon safely and normally and the monitor is
grounded properly before conducng debrillaon.
The monitor is not suitable for use in the presence of ammable anesthec mixture with air, oxygen or nitrous
oxide.
Each me the monitor is used, check the alarm limits to ensure that they are appropriate for the paent being
monitored.
The alarm limit value shall be within the measuring range, or it may disable the alarm system. Please refer to the
related chapter for alarm limit range.
A HAZARD can exist if dierent alarm presets are used for the same or similar device in a single area.
Do not silence the audible alarm if paent safety may be compromised.
The monitor is prohibited from applying to those who have severe hemorrhagic tendency or who are with sickle cell

disease for they may develop paral bleeding when this monitor is used to take the blood pressure measurement.
All the connecng cables and tubes of the applying parts should be kept away from the paent’s neck to prevent
any possible suocaon of the paent.
To prevent the risk of the short circuit and to ensure the ECG signal quality, the device must be properly grounded.
The device should be considered an early warning device as a trend towards paent deoxygenaon is indicated,
blood samples should be analyzed by a laboratory CO-oximeter to completely understand the paent’s condion.
Although biocompability tests have been performed on all the applied parts, some exceponal allergic paents
may sll have anaphylaxis. Do NOT apply to those who have anaphylaxis.
Please peruse the relave content about the clinical restricons and contraindicaon.
It is recommended that the clinical operator regularly test the device and accessories. The visual and auditory
alarm signal can be checked by disconnect accessories or by seng it at Demo mode to simulate alarm event.
Do not allow service or maintenance on the device whilst being used on a paent.
1.1.2 Cauons
All the parts of the monitor should NOT be replaced at will, substuon of a component dierent from that supplied
by the manufacturer might result in measurement error. If necessary, please use the components provided by the
manufacturer or those that are of the same model and standards as the accessories along with the monitor which
are provided by the same factory, otherwise, negave eects concerning safety and biocompability etc. may be
caused. No modicaon of this device is allowed.
The accessories which can be used repeatedly should be cleaned thoroughly before use on another paent.
Please refer to the related chapter for maintenance method.
If the monitor falls o accidentally, please do NOT operate it before its safety and technical indexes have been
tested minutely and posive tesng results obtained.
Do not immerse the monitor or its accessories in liquid to clean.
The system might not meet its performance specicaons if stored or used outside the manufacturer’s specied

2.1 Monitor Descripon
2.1.1 Product Name and Model
Product name: Paent Monitor
Product Model: See Label in page I
2.1.2 Intended Use
This Paent Monitor is a mul-funconal instrument designed for monitoring the vital physiological signs of adult,
pediatric and neonate paents. With the funcons of real-me recording and displaying parameters, such as ECG, heart
rate (HR), non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP), funconal oxygen saturaon (SpO2), respiraon (RESP), body temperature
(TEMP), as well as the oponed monitoring funcons, such as end-dal CO2 concentraon (EtCO2), invasive blood pressure
(IBP), cardiac output (C.O.), anesthec gas (AG), Cerebral State Index (CSI) and so on, it allows comprehensive analysis of
paent’s physiological condions.
Note: The CE-cered paent monitors have the funcons of recording and displaying parameters in real-me of ECG,
heart rate (HR), non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP), funconal oxygen saturaon (SpO2), respiraon rate (RESP), body
temperature (TEMP), and end-dal CO2 concentraon (EtCO2) for monitoring the physiological condions of adult and
pediatric paents (age≥3 years old).
Note: This paent monitor can be congured with dierent parameters, the monitor you purchase may not cover all
funcons described above.
Note: ECG arrhythmia analysis funcon and S-T segment monitoring have not been CE cered.
This instrument is applicable for use in hospitals and clinical instuons. The operaon should be performed
by qualied professionals or under their guidance. Anyone unauthorized or untrained must not perform any
operaon on it.
The physiological waveforms and parameters and the alarm informaon displayed by the monitor are only for the
reference of operators, but cannot be used directly to determine the clinical treatment.
Contraindicaon: please see each secon.
2.1.3 Features
This paent monitor can be used to monitor paent’s physiological parameters including ECG, heart rate (HR), non-
invasive blood pressure (NIBP), oxygen saturaon (SpO2), Pulse rate (PR), respiraon, temperature, CO2 and CSM and so
on. It has the following features:
Windows style display view, easy to operate;
The plugin modular design can extend CO2 and CSM monitoring funcons;
Paent archive management is available;
