Gingerway wireless smoke sensor adopts the labyrinth photoelectric smoke detection mode. The sensor
detects once every 8 seconds, when the excessive smoke are detected, it will immediately hoot and send
alarm signal to SmartC gateway. The battery life can be more than 10 years owes to its ultralow power
consumption technology and two-way wireless communication technology.
This product can be used independently; For network alarm, it must be used with Gingerway SmartC
series of gateways.
1. Mount the sensor base on the ceiling of detection area with screws;
2. Aim the sensor bottom at the positioning groove of sensor base, rotate the sensor clockwise to fasten it.

Usage
Technical Parameters
Please bind the smoke sensor with SmartC gateway before use:
Long press the bind button for 5 seconds, the indicator will continuously sticker and send out binding
request. Add a new smart device binding on APP "ZGinger Mini", you can refer to the instruction
manual of SmartC gateway for the detailed procedure .
Short press the test button can send out a testing alarm to SmartC gateway.
1. Don't mount the smoke sensor at outdoor place or somewhere with large air ux.
2. The mounting position must be larger than 0.75m apart from the corner of wall.
3. Keep the sensor away from dust and moisture, the semi-annual cleaning is recommended.
4. It's recommended to test the smoke sensor regularly.
Low battery notification: When the sensor in low battery, the low battery signal will be sent to
gateway. The siren of gateway wouldn't hoot while gateway receiving the signal, only the notication
will be sent to user.

Gingerway products are guaranteed for 2 years since the date of purchase. During the warranty
period, if Gingerway products malfunction(not contain artificial damages) under normal
circumstances, they can be free repaired or exchanged at local dealer with the purchase invoice.
1. If due to quality failure during the warranty period, the maintenance is free in rst year, only
the component cost will be charged in the second year.
2. Disassembling Gingerway product components without the permission of our company or the
local client center, our company will no longer bear the free warranty responsibility .
