① This Bluetooth Receiver is optimized for Gio Smart Pillow.
② Bluetooth Receiver is set to halt operation when using call function
of the phone. Ending the call will return to its original state. Yet, some
devices may have different settings.
③ As this Bluetooth Receiver includes power and amplifier, Gio Smart
Pillow does not have additional power and amplifier.
④ This Bluetooth Receiver provides audio guidance including power
and operation state.
⑤ As this Bluetooth Receiver includes large scale rechargeable
battery, users can use the product for a long time without facing
inconveniences.
⑥ Gio Smart Pillow is equipped with high-quality speaker, and
delivers sounds of the highest quality.

LED Condition Display Button Function
Bluetooth Receiver (GSR-101A) LED displays the connection and
recharging conditions of the product.
Power ON 3 blue LED flashings with long interval
Power OFF 3 red LED flashings with short interval
Waiting for connection Red and blue LED cross-flashing
Connection complete Simultaneous lighting of red and blue LED, followed by
lights off in the order of red and blue LED
Charging Red LED lighting after cable connection
Charge complete Blue LED lighting when cable is connected
Low battery Red LED flashing every 2 seconds
Button operation Blue LED lighting whenever button is pressed under
power on condition
① Power Button : Turns the device on and off.
- Power ON : When power is off, press for 3 seconds.
- Power OFF : When power is on, press for 3 seconds.
② Mode & Pause Button
- Pause : Press gently for play and stop.
- Mode : Press for 3 seconds to change voice guide to English/
Chinese.
*Yet, only applicable when connected to external device.
③ Volume Up Button : Press to raise device volume.
Charging and playing time may change according to usage
circumstances. Functions are subject to change without prior notice
for better quality of product, the device is considered the standard
when there is difference with instruction manual.

Connection management (Pairing)
The included Bluetooth Receiver GSR-101A must be registered to external device (smartphone, tablet and other Bluetooth support devices) before
using Gio Smart Pillow. Registered device does not require this procedure.
1. For Initial Connection
① Turn on Bluetooth Receiver GSR-101A.
② The device will get ready for connection with cross-lighting of red and blue LED.
③ Turn on Bluetooth function of external device (smartphone, tablet and other Bluetooth support devices).
※ Refer to external device manual for instructions to turn on Bluetooth device of external devices.
④ When “GSR-101A” appears on the external device, select it to initialize connection.
⑤ When connection is complete, blue and red LED will light up simultaneously, followed by light on of red and
blue LED light and light off, with audio guide and melody.

3. Outside Maximum Connection Range
① When the connected device is located outside the maximum connection range with GSR-101A during media play, weakened signal will lead to
disconnection. GSR-101A will be changed to connection standby mode with audio guide, followed by beep sounds every 17 seconds.

② Device will automatically reconnect once it enters into the connection range. When the device does not reconnect, the settings on external
device must be adjusted.
4. Receiving Call during Connection
When call is received on external device while GSR-101A is in operation after connection with external device, GSR-101A will halt its operation
and return to initial stage when call ends. Yet, some devices may have different settings.
5. During Connection Delay
When GSR-101A is not connected to external device within 25 seconds of turning its power on, it will automatically turn off.
2. Re-connection with Same Device
① Turn on Bluetooth Receiver GSR-101A.
② The device will get ready for connection with cross-lighting of red
and blue LED.

Power Management
1. Power On/Off
Press Power Button of Bluetooth Receive GSR-101A for over 3 seconds.
2. Charging
① GSR-101A includes battery. Change battery when power does not turn on.
② Connect charging cable included in the package to charging socket, and connect to USB charging adapter or PC USB socket.
③ Red LED will light on once charging is initialized, and will change to blue LED when charging is complete.
④ When low-power notice is issued during use, recharge before use.

Problem solution
1. Refrain from dissembling, remodeling the product or external
shock, as they may be the cause of fire and malfunction.
2. Refrain from using or storing product in high or low temperature
conditions.
3. Refrain from using or strong product in conditions with high
humidity and dust or volatile material, fire equipment, or places
near high electromagnetic waves (electric pad, electric blanket,
microwave, etc.).
4. Use device only with regular voltage and 1A charging adapter.
5. Using in-vehicle charger may damage the product. Refrain from
using in-vehicle charger.
6. Rechargeable battery has a long lifespan when managed
appropriately. When it is not used for a long time, battery storage
may drop. Refrain from exposing the device to temperatures of
over 50°C and below -10°C, as this may lead to malfunction.
7. Please have the product repaired by the headquarters and the
designated service center.

Product Warranty and Warranty Scope
Product warranty is available for 6 months since the written date of purchase. Depending on the types of problems, free of charge services will be
provided in case of product malfunction during the warranty period. Limited services may be provided after the product warranty scope. When the
product is used for sales purposes, warranty scope will be halved.
Gio Clavis Co., Ltd. provides warranty on products in accordance to the consumer dispute resolution standards announced by the Fair Trade
Commission. Store this warranty in good condition as it is not subject for re-issuance.
For product malfunction or manufacturing defect by Gio Clavis Co., Ltd. product quality is warrantied for 6 months since the date of purchase.
Quality warranty conditions or warranty liabilities are listed below.
Gio Clavis Co., Ltd. quality warranty shall not be transferred, and this Warranty is only viable for official purchasers. Dated receipt of purchase must
be attached for quality warranty.
Product defects caused by an unauthorized third party or those resulting from alteration, repair, misuse and accidents will not be covered by the
warranty, and Gio Clavis Co., Ltd. is not liable for the abovementioned situations. Product alteration or repair is only provided at designated Service
centers. Liability for this product is limited to exchange/repair based on the company’s sole discretion.

Abide by the following steps for product warranty services
① Get ready purchase receipt or proof data with purchase date and location.
② Clearly state the areas that require warranty.
③ Consult with A/S Center with regards to the problem and send the packaged product to Headquarter or respective service center
(in cases, transportation cost may occur).
④ Products transported with no prior discussion can be returned.
What is not covered by warranty
① Malfunction or damage caused by reasons aside from materials or technical problems.
② General abrasion, inappropriate install and malfunctions or damages caused by maintenance, abuse, misuse, carelessness, accident
and alteration.
③ Defects caused by alteration or repair by an unauthorized third party.
④ Product malfunction or break down caused by user (physical damage, flood, etc.)
⑤ Consumable items defined as expendable parts or accessories will not be covered by this Warranty.
