sEt up
1) Plug the USB Dongle into USB Port #1
on the PS3 console.
2) Turn on the console.
3) Open the battery compartment and
insert 2 x AA batteries.
4) Press the “Home” Button to power
on the Freedom Racing Wheel.
5) The FR-1 will automatically select a
channel and an LED will light.
6) Now you can enjoy all of your racing
games with a Gioteck Freedom Wheel!

To calibrate your FR1 follow the
instructions below:
1) Place it on a at surface.
2) Press and hold the “Select” & “Home”
buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds
3) All four channel LED's will light.
4) Press the “Start” button to calibrate.
5) Once calibration is complete,
the LED's will turn OFF and the
assigned channel LED will light.
motion stEEring control
1) Tilt the wheel above 30° to activate
motion sensing steering technology.
2) Turn 120° Left/Right for an effective
steering angle. (Note: If you turn the
wheel more than 120°, the steering will
default back to the neutral position.)
3) Tilt between 30° to 145° horizontally for
an effective operational angle.
Lay the FR-1 at during menu
operation to prevent motion
sensor interference.
opEration
POWER ON
To turn on the FR-1, press Home button
once and the LED will light.
POWER OFF
To turn off, press & hold “Select” & the
“O” button simultaneously for 5 seconds.
Note: The FR-1 will automatically turn
off if it is disconnected from the PS3
for 30 seconds or more.
SLEEP MODE
The FR-1 will enter sleep mode if it is
inactive for 5 minutes. To exit sleep
mode, press Home button once.
SENSITIVITY ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the sensitivity, slide the
Sensitivity Switch to your desired level.
Note: Sensitivity Adjustment does
not work during Six Axis Mode.
LOW BATTERY
The Channel LEDs will ash rapidly
when the battery charge is low. You will
need to replace with new batteries.
troublEshooting
i) In some games the racing wheel
must be assigned to Port 1.
To assign The FR-1 to Port 1, press and
hold the “Home” button. The Channel
LED will indicate when the channel
assignment is successful.
ii) The Pedals do not seem to work.
Make sure the trigger pedals have not
been reprogrammed – Please follow the
instructions in the “Reassigning Trigger
Pedals” section.

motion sEnsing moDE
The default setting for the Motion Sensing
Mode is the Left 3D Stick.
To change Motion Sensing from the
Left 3D Stick to Six Axis Mode:
1) Press and hold “Select” with “the down
arrow on the D-Pad” for 5 seconds.
2) The Power LED will ash slowly
3 times to indicate the change.
3) To change back to the default setting,
repeat the process above.
Note: Once the power is off,
all program settings will
reset to default.
rEassigning X & triggErs
The default keys for the Trigger Pedals
are the X Trigger & □ Trigger. To change
the Trigger Pedals to the R2 Button &
L2 Button:
1) Press and hold the “Select” & “Start”
buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.
2) The power LED will ash slowly 3 times
to indicate the change.
3) To change back to the default setting,
repeat the process above.

FonctionnEmEnt
MISE SOUS TENSION
Pour mettre le volant FR-1 sous tension, appuyez une fois sur le
bouton Home et le voyant s'allumera.
MISE HORS TENSION
Pour mettre le volant hors tension, appuyez et maintenez enfoncé
simultanément les boutons “Select” et “O” pendant 5 secondes.
Remarque : le volant FR-1 s'éteindra automatiquement s'il
est déconnecté de la console PS3 pendant au moins 30 secondes.
MODE VEILLE
Le volant FR-1 passera en mode Veille s'il est inactif pendant
5 minutes. Pour quitter le mode Veille, appuyez une fois sur le
bouton Home.
RÉGLAGE DE LA SENSIBILITÉ
Pour régler la sensibilité, faites glisser le curseur de sensibilité
au niveau souhaité. Remarque : le réglage de sensibilité ne
fonctionne pas en mode Six Axis.
BATTERIE FAIBLE
Les voyants de canaux clignoteront rapidement lorsque le niveau
de charge des piles est faible. Vous devrez les remplacer par des
nouvelles piles.
commanDE D'anglE DE braQuagE
1) Inclinez le volant à plus de 30° pour activer la technologie
d'angle de détection de braquage.
2) Tournez le volant à 120° à gauche/droite pour obtenir un
angle efcace de braquage. (Remarque : si vous tournez
le volant à plus de 120°, le braquage reviendra par défaut
à la position neutre.)
3) Inclinez entre 30 et 145° à l'horizontale pour obtenir un

Posez le volant FR-1 à plat pendant l'utilisation du menu

rÉaFFEctation X & gâchEttEs □

au boutons R2 et L2 :
1) Appuyez sur les boutons “Select” & “Start” (Sélectionner
et Démarrer) et maintenez-les enfoncés simultanément
pendant 5 secondes.
2) Le témoin d'alimentation clignotera lentement 3 fois pour
indiquer le changement.
3) Pour revenir au paramètre par défaut, recommencez la
procédure ci-dessus.
Remarque : lorsque l'alimentation est coupée, tous les

moDE DE DÉtEction DE mouvEmEnt
Le paramètre par défaut du Mode de détection de mouvement

Zum Ausschalten die Tasten "Select" & "O" 5 Sekunden lang
gleichzeitig gedrückt halten. Hinweis: Das FR-1 wird automatisch
ausgeschaltet, wenn es länger als 30 Sekunden nicht mehr mit der
PS3-Konsole verbunden ist.
SCHLAFMODUS
Das FR-1 wechselt nach 5 Minuten Inaktivität in den Schlafmodus.
Zum Beenden des Schlafmodus die Home-Taste einmal drücken.
EMPFINDLICHKEITSANPASSUNG
Passen Sie die Empndlichkeit an, indem Sie den
Empndlichkeitsregler zur gewünschten gewünschte Stufe
schieben. Hinweis: Die Empndlichkeitsanpassung wird im
Six Axis-Modus nicht unterstützt.
NIEDRIGE BATTERIEKAPAZITÄT
Bei nachlassender Batteriekapazität blinken die Kanal-LEDs
in schneller Frequenz. Es müssen dann neue Batterien
eingesetzt werden.
lEnKbEwEgungsstEuErung
1) Neigen Sie das Lenkrad um mehr als 30°, um die
bewegungsempndliche Lenkungstechnologie zu aktivieren.
2) Drehen Sie das Lenkrad um 120° nach links/rechts, um einen
effektiven Lenkungswinkel zu erzielen. (Hinweis: Wenn Sie das

Hinweis: Sobald der Strom ausgeschaltet ist, werden
alle Programmeinstellungen auf die Standardeinstellung
zurückgesetzt.
KalibriErEn DEr bEwEgungsErKEnnung
Folgen Sie zum Kalibrieren Ihres FR1 den nachstehenden

FEhlErsuchE

Um das FR-1 Anschluss 1 zuzuweisen, müssen Sie die Taste
"Home" gedrückt halten. Die Kanal-LED signalisiert, wenn die
Kanalzuweisung erfolgreich durchgeführt wurde.
ii) Die Pedale scheinen nicht zu funktionieren. Stellen Sie sicher,
dass die Trigger-Pedale nicht umprogrammiert wurden.

FuncionamiEnto
ENCENDIDO
Para poner en marcha el FR-1, presiona el botón Inicio una vez y
se encenderá el indicador LED.
APAGADO
Para apagar, mantén pulsado el botón “Select” y “O”
simultáneamente durante 5 segundos. Nota: el FR-1 se apagará
automáticamente si se desconecta de la PS3 durante 30
segundos o más.
MODO REPOSO
El FR-1 pasará al modo Reposo si está inactivo durante 5
minutos. Para salir de este modo, pulsa el botón Inicio una vez.
AJUSTE DE SENSIBILIDAD
Para ajustar la sensibilidad, desliza el selector de sensibilidad
hasta cambiarla al nivel que preeras. Nota: el ajuste de
sensibilidad no funciona en el Six Axis Mode.
NIVEL DE BATERÍA BAJO
Los indicadores LED de canal parpadearán rápidamente cuando
la carga de la batería esté baja. Tendrás que poner unas
baterías nuevas.
control DE DirEcciÓn DE movimiEnto
1) Inclina el volante más de 30° para activar la tecnología
de dirección con detección de movimiento.
2) Gira 120° a izquierda/derecha para obtener un ángulo de giro

rEsoluciÓn DE problEmas
i) En algunos juegos, el volante de carreras se debe asignar
al Puerto 1.

ENCENDIDO
Para poner en marcha el FR-1, presiona el botón Inicio una vez y
se encenderá el indicador LED.
APAGADO
Para apagar, mantén pulsado el botón “Select” y “O”
simultáneamente durante 5 segundos. Nota: el FR-1 se apagará
automáticamente si se desconecta de la PS3 durante 30
segundos o más.
MODO REPOSO
El FR-1 pasará al modo Reposo si está inactivo durante 5
minutos. Para salir de este modo, pulsa el botón Inicio una vez.
AJUSTE DE SENSIBILIDAD
Para ajustar la sensibilidad, desliza el selector de sensibilidad
hasta cambiarla al nivel que preeras. Nota: el ajuste de
sensibilidad no funciona en el Six Axis Mode.
NIVEL DE BATERÍA BAJO
Los indicadores LED de canal parpadearán rápidamente cuando
la carga de la batería esté baja. Tendrás que poner unas
baterías nuevas.

Nízký stav baterie signalizuje rychlé blikání LED pro kanál.

KalibracE citlivosti pohybu
FR1 kalibrujte podle níže uvedených pokynů:
1) Umístěte jej na plochý povrch.
2) Stiskněte tlačítka pro výběr & “Start” najednou a podržte 5 sekund.
3) Všechny 4 LED pro kanál začnou svítit.
4) Kalibrujte stisknutím tlačítka start.
5) Jakmile je kalibrace dokončena, LED zhasne a začne
svítit přidělená LED pro kanál.
ODSTRaňOVÁNÍ pRObLÉmů
i) Závodnímu volantu musí být v některých hrách přidělen port 1.
Chcete-li přidělit FR-1 portu 1, stiskněte a podržte tlačítko
pro návrat. LED pro kanál bude indikovat, zda je přidělení
kanálu úspěšné.
ii) Pedály nefungují. Přesvědčte se, zda spouštěcí pedály nebyly
