The Silentaire compressor comes in two boxes.
Box #1 (Small Box) Contains:

• 1 Bottle of Silentaire Synthetic Oil,
with Applicator Spout – (#022-163)
• Silentaire Reservoir Bottle
• Silentaire Compressor with Coalescing Filter
• Silentaire Regulator / Primary Filter
• Packet of Threaded Fastener*, Short Clear
Hose*, and Black Air Intake Filter

1. COMPRESSOR SETUP
Install the Air Pressure Gauge
by threading the gauge into the
fitting on the Regulator Air Filter
as shown.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE
CONNECTING TO POWER TO AVOID
DAMAGING EQUIPMENT.

Install the Silentaire Reservoir Bottle
by pushing the bowl drain hose into
the hole in the cap of the bottle.
The regulator air filter will empty
contents of bowl into the Reservoir
Bottle. The bottle will need to be
emptied often to avoid overfilling.

OIL MUST BE ADDED TO THIS COMPRESSOR BEFORE OPERATING OR
DAMAGE WILL OCCUR.
THIS COMPRESSOR REQUIRES SILENTAIRE SYNTHETIC OIL (#022-163). USING
ANY OTHER OIL VOIDS THE 1-YEAR MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY and will cause
increased wear and excessive oil blow-by.
For best operation, change and refill the oil with fresh Silentaire Synthetic Oil after
the first 150 hours of compressor use.
CHANGING OIL • When changing the compressor oil, warm a cold machine
up by running it for several minutes and then unplug the electric cord. Drain the
tank of water and coalescing filter bowl of oil/water. Remove the Air Intake Filter
located in the compressor head. Tip the compressor over on its side to drain
the used oil from the pump housing into a suitable container. Properly dispose
of used oil. Stand machine back up on a level surface and refill to the correct
level with fresh Silentaire Oil.

2. ADDING OIL
THROUGH THE OIL OPENING
SHIPPING • If shipping is required,
remove ALL OIL to prevent oil leakage
and damaging oil contamination of
the air components. Do not assume
the shipper will keep the box upright
during transit.
Fill oil until it is halfway up the
bubble sight. Reattach the Air
Filter after filling.
Fill oil until it is halfway up the
bubble sight. Replace the oil
cap after filling.

5. DRAINING WATER FROM THE COMPRESSOR

It is not necessary to
remove the bottom
tank plug or tip the
compressor on its side
to drain water. Drain
regularly as needed.
Note: A little air pressure in the tank makes the draining process more
ecient and helps to push water out of the tank.
