MiniWave Float Switch
• Slip the lock nut onto the cable followed by the counterweight. Secure the counterweight at
the required position along the cable and tighten the lock nut with moderate pressure. The
cable length between the float and counterweight determines the water level.
• Connect the free end of the cable to an electric pump.
• Ensure the counterweight is locked to the cable at the required position. Make sure that the
terminal of the cable is never immersed in water during or after installation.
INSTRUCTION FOR WATER-FILLING OPERATION (OVERHEAD TANK)
To connect the float switch to the electrical pump for water filling operations, connect the black
wire of the float switch to the electrical pump and the red wire to a neutral wire as shown in
Fig. 2. The blue wire should be kept insulated. For detailed installation instructions, refer to Fig. 3
and 4.
The pump will activate and fill the tank when the water drops to the minimum level and
deactivate when the water reaches the maximum level.
The MiniWave float switch is used to turn electrical pumps on and o based on the minimum and maximum
water level in an overhead tank or sump. It eectively protects the electrical pump when there is no water in the
overhead tank or sump.
