UNPACKING
Unpacktherollergrillimmediatelyafterreceipt.Ifthemachineisfoundtobedamaged,savethepackagingmaterial
andcontactthecarrierwithinfteen(15)daysofdelivery.ImmediatelycontactGlobeoryourlocaldealerofthe
equipment.You have no recourse to damage after fteen (15) days.
TO AVOID SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY:
• ALWAYSinstallequipmentinaworkareawithadequatelightandspace.
• ONLYoperateonasolid,level,nonskidsurfacethatisnonammableandawayfromsinksandwaterhazards.
• NEVERbypass,alterormodifythisequipmentinanywayfromitsoriginalcondition.Doingsomaycreate
hazardsandwillvoidwarranty.
• NEVERoperatetherollergrillwithoutallwarningsattachedtoit.
PROPER GROUNDING
THIS MACHINE IS PROVIDED WITH A THREE-PRONG GROUNDING PLUG. THE OUTLET TO WHICH THIS PLUG
IS CONNECTED MUST BE PROPERLY GROUNDED. IF THE RECEPTACLE IS NOT THE PROPER GROUNDING
TYPE, CONTACT AN ELECTRICIAN. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, CUT OR REMOVE THE THIRD
GROUND PRONG FROM THE POWER CORD OR USE ANY ADAPTER PLUG (Fig. 7-1 and Fig. 7-2).

INSTALLATION
1. Readthismanualthoroughlybeforeinstallationandoperation.DONOTproceedwithinstallationand
operationifyouhaveanyquestionsordonotunderstandanythinginthismanual.Contactyourlocal
representativeorGloberst.
2. Removetherollergrillfromthebox.Onceyourrollergrillhasbeenremovedfromthepackaging,becertainthat
allprotectiveplasticsandresiduesareremovedfromallsurfaces.
3. Selectalocationfortherollergrillthathasalevel,solid,nonskidsurfacethatisnonammableandawayfrom
waterhazardsorsinks,andisinawell-lightedworkareaawayfromchildrenandvisitors.
4. Inspecttherollergrilltoensureallpartshavebeenprovided(i.e.-catchtray).

CODESANDORDINANCESANDALLTHELOCALELECTRICALCOMPANYRULESANDREGULATIONS
Additionallywerecommendthattherollergrillisalloweda4”spacingsurroundingtheunitinordertoprovide
adequateventilation.
NOTICE:Localcodesregardinginstallationvarygreatlybyarea.TheNationalFireProtectionAssociation,
Inc,statesinitsNFPA96latestedition(seeNFPApageatthebeginningofthismanual)thatlocalcodesare
“authorityhavingjurisdiction”whenitcomestorequirementsforinstallationofequipment.Therefore,
installationshouldcomplywithalllocalcodes.
6. Foryourprotectionwerecommendthataqualiedelectricianinstallthisrollergrill.Theyshouldbe
familiarwithelectricalinstallationsandallelectricalcodes.
7. Properconnectionsandpowersupplyareessentialforefcientperformance.
8. Theexternalwiringshouldbeinconduitoranapprovedtypeofexiblecablesuitableforoperationattemperature
indicatedattheconduithole,andinapropersizetocarrytheload.
9. Thesupplycircuitshouldbeproperlyfusedandequippedwithameansofdisconnecting,asrequiredbythe
localelectricalcode.Forrollergrillwithplugsandleadsset,simplyprovideasuitablepowerpointandconnect.
ThisequipmentgetsEXTREMELYHOTsomakesureallammable/combustiblematerials
aresetawayfromthisequipment.
Leveling
Therollergrillcomesstandardwithrubbernon-slipfeet.Pleaseensurearm,levelsurfaceisusedwhenplacing
thisunit.
Assembly
Ensurethecatchtrayisinstalledbeforeeachuse.Theuseofthistraywillassistinkeepingtherollergrillcleanand
hygienicandenableforeasycleaning.
COMMISSIONING:
Commissioningofyournewrollergrillisoftheutmostimportance.Commissioningisthethoroughandmethodical
testingoftheequipment,subsystems,andsystemstoensurethatthenalproductfunctionsproperlyandsafelyat
theworksite.Byidentifyinganypotentialproblems(i.e.:equipmentlocation,ventilation,localre/electricalcodes,
installation, operator training and certication) prior to equipment being placed into service, costly outages and
potentialdamagesmaybeavoided.

panelsonthisproduct.
• Globetakeseverycaretoensurethatallproductsaresafe.Steelcuttingproceduresusedtomanufacture
theseitemsresultinsharpedges.Thesesharpedgesareremovedtothebestofourability;however,we
insisttheoperatortakecarewhenincontactwiththispieceofequipment.
• Duringoperationtherollergrillreacheshightemperatures,inturn,heatinganystainlesssteelsurfaces.
Takeextremecarewhenoperating.
• Switchoffpower,anddisconnectfrom,themain/plugfromwallforcleaning.
• Allowtherollergrilltocooldownafteruseandbeforedismantlingforcleaning;theunitwillbetoohotto
handleimmediatelyafteruse.
• TheGloberollergrillisequippedforthevoltageindicatedonthenameplatemountedontherearof
theunit.Thisrollergrillisdesignedforuseonalternatingcurrent(AC)only.

Operating the Roller Grill
Beforeoperatingrollergrill,itshouldbecheckedtoseethatitissittinglevel.Ensuretherollergrillislevel,theunit
isclean,andallpartsareinstalledcorrectlyincludingthecatchtray.Pleaseallow8-10minutesforwarmuptime.
Cooksproductin3-10minutesdependingonlikeness.
NOTE: Upon rst use, roller grill may omit a metal-burning smell.
This is normal and smell will regress with use.
1. ThemainOn/Offswitchislocatedonthefrontpanelinlinewiththecontroldials.
2. SwitchtheOn/Offswitch“ON”.
3. TheOn/Offswitchwillactivatetherollers,butheatwillnotbesuppliedtotheelements.
Theheatsettingiscontrolledbythedialsalsolocatedonthefrontpanel.Thesedialsofferthefollowingsettings.
Cooking Selection:
Therollergrillhasdualcontrolallowingyoutoisolatethefrontandbacksectionsoftheunit.Eachsection
canbeadjustedtothefollowing:
OFF: HeatingElementsare“OFF”
LOW: LowPowertoheatedsectionselected.Powersavewhenunitisonstandby
2: 5%power
3: 50%power
4: 70%power
High: Fullpowertoheatingsectionselected
NOTE: The indicator light on the front panel indicates the elements are active. If the indicator lights are
OFF, the unit has reached cooking temperature or has been turned off.

defectsinmaterialorworkmanshipforaperiodof1year.Thelaborwarrantyisoneyearfromoriginalinstallation
or 18 months from actual factory shipment date whichever date occurs rst. Warranty includes onsite service
