II. OPERATION
1. Place the unit on any flat surface.
2.
Turn the time adjusting knob to adjust to the correct time. (See Fig. I).
3. Open the front window door and gently remove the cardboard (See Fig. II).
4. Insert the adapter plug into the unit jack at the rear of the unit. Plug the
adapter into a nearby working outlet. The adapter is intended to be
correctly oriented in a vertical or floor mount position.
5. Turn the unit on using the ON-OFF switch from the back of the unit.
Note: The adapter supplies power to the musical module only and will
not supply power to clock movement.
6. Turn the VOLUME dial to adjust the volume of the music. Note: When
the volume dial is at the LO setting, no music can be heard.

ANIMATED MUSICAL CHIMES
Thank you for purchasing the Animated Musical Chimes. An elegant music box in a classic mantelpiece silhouette, our Animated
Musical Chimes is the perfect collector's piece. The unit plays 35 Christmas Carols and 35 Year Around Songs on the hour or
continuously. Adapter is included. This product is not a toy and is not intended for use by children.

Open the door and the battery compartment at the back of the door. (See Fig. I).
Insert the AA-size battery (included in the packaging) into the compartment making sure to align
the volume dial is at the LO setting, no music can be heard.
7. Use the Christmas Carols/Year-Round Songs switch to select the type
of music you wish to play. (See Fig. III).
8. Use the selectors (A-G) / (1-10) positioned at side panel to select which
song you wish to play. (See Fig. IV). The song selectors only choose the songs when the
unit is in the "ON" position.
9. Move the power switch to either of the following settings (See Fig. V):
"CLOCK" - When the minute hand is on the 12 (top of the hour), it will
randomly play one song from the song category selected (either Christmas Carols or
Year-Round Songs) and then stop. The unit will not play the next song until the minute
hand is back on 12. The song selectors (A-G) / (1-10) do not effect the song choice when
in the "CLOCK" setting.
"ON" - The music will play continuously. Figure IV
"OFF"- The unit will be off.
10. Use the Chime On/Off switch to start and stop the sound of chimes.(See Fig.VI).

PLEASE NOTE: WHEN THE CHIME SWITCH IS IN THE OFF POSITION THE "HAMMER" WILL NOT STRIKE
THE CHIME, HOWEVER YOU WILL STILL HEAR THE CHIME SOUND IN THE MUSIC.
Wait until the minute hand is on the 12 (top of the hour ) or turn the power
switch to "ON"
Your Animated Musical Chimes has been designed to give many reasons of trouble-free operation. In the event that a problem does
occur, please refer to the following chart for suggested solutions.

Gold Label warrants the original customer/purchaser of the Animated Musical Chimes that it will be free from defects in material and
workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from date-of-purchase. Any liability of Gold Label under this warranty shall be limited to the repair
or replacement of defective parts without charge if the item is returned with shipping charges prepaid together with proof of date-of-purchase, name
and mailing address of the original consumers/purchasers. This warranty does not cover defects caused by damages in transit, abuse, accident,
negligence or repairs made by others. This warranty gives the consumer/purchaser specific legal rights. This consumer/purchaser may also have
other rights which vary from state to state.
Warning: Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user authority to
operate the equipment.
