Overview
Thank you for purchasing a Shelti product. All of us at Shelti want you to be
completely satisfied with your Dual Pool Table, so feel free to contact us for
help with the assembly of your product, programming of the dual pool table,
Shelti parts, or other information you may require.
The dual pool table platform is one of the most advanced control systems,
custom made for the battery pool table industry. The system allows control of
two independent sets of balls with credit taken from ether coin and/or the dollar
bill acceptor.
The dual pool table platform is connected to an LCD display. This allows the
pricing structure to be viewed. In addition the same display is used in
conjunction with 3 programming buttons to show and input system operating
parameters, access to audit information can also be obtained.
The dual pool table will give advanced warning of low battery power, enabling
the operator to be prepared for battery replacement or charge required. The
battery is tested every time coins are inserted, if the battery voltage falls lower
than 11.5v then “Battery Low” will be displayed.

Dual Pool Table Quick Start-Up Instructions
Step-1: Unlock the metal DBA door and remove the wooden cash box from its
shipping location behind the battery bungee cord. Place the wooden cash box
behind the roll down quarter coin mechanism.
Step-2: Remove the rechargeable 12volt battery from the leg box and install it
in the battery hold down area securely fastening the battery in place using the
bungee cord. (See Below Picture)
Step-3: Connect the Battery Harness to the battery. MAKE SURE THAT THE
RED WIRE IS CONNECTED TO THE RED (POSITIVE) POST ON THE
BATTERY. Once the battery is connected to the dual pool table the LED
display should read $1.00 per 8-Ball / $1.50 per 3-Some Play (Factory
Setting) The DBA should also go through its test sequence and two green
lights on the front of the DBA should flash four times.
Note: The tipping tray leaves the factory tipped in the direction of the 8-Ball
side of the dual pool table. These 8-balls must be loaded first.

Automatic Battery Charger – This
charger will turn off when the
battery is fully charged.

Step-4: Standing at the Ball Box End of the dual pool table reach under the
table and pullout the retractable 110-volt power cord. Plug this power cord into
the nearest grounded wall outlet to fully charge the 12volt rechargeable battery
(usually overnight). When the battery is fully charged the full automatic 12-volt
charger will shut down to make sure that the battery is not over charged.
Step-5: Drop the normal set of 15 pool balls into the pockets followed lastly by
the cue ball. The balls should roll into the ball trap on the 8-Ball side of the
dual pool table and the cue ball should be locked out inside of the pool table.
Step-6: Put $1.50 into the dual pool table. The two start buttons on the coin
door should begin flashing. Push the 3Some Start Button even though these
balls have yet to be put into the dual pool table. This will flip the tipping tray
toward the 3-Some side of the dual pool table. Now drop the 15 – 3Some balls
into the pockets followed lastly by the cue ball. These balls should roll toward
the 3Some side of the dual pool table and cue ball should be locked out inside
of the pool table.
Step-7: With both sets of balls inside of the dual pool table you are now ready
to start play. Remember the following. There is a last ball sensor located at the
left end of the ball trap on both sides of the dual pool table (See The Below
Picture). This sensor checks to make sure that all 15 balls are inside of the ball
trap before it will allow the dumping of the balls on the opposite side of the
pool table. In this way both sets of balls can not be out of the dual pool table at
the same time.
Last Ball Sensor Board
Sensor Receiver
Sensor Bulb
The last ball (15th) blocks the beam between the
bulb and the receiver to let the PCB know that
all 15 balls are in the trap. When this signal is
received the PCB will allow the balls on the
opposite side of the pool table to dump. If a
problem occurs make sure that the bulb is
pointing directly at the receiver.

Dual Pool Basic Programming & Navigation Map
The Navigation map shows the complete picture for all programming
procedures, it is only used as a guide to the positions at which data may be
viewed or edited. (See the previous page)
Changing Data
Pressing the onboard program button momentarily will invoke program mode
and “Change Settings” will be displayed. Pressing 8ball button once will go
into the next menu option, “Audits/Limits”. For example, at “Change Settings”,
pressing the Timed Game button will go into the “Change Settings menu”.
Alternatively pressing the 3Some button will move down to the “Escape”
option, again pressing the Timed Game button will go back into normal/game
mode
To Escape from a menu continue to press the 3Some or 8ball buttons until the
word “ESCAPE” is displayed, pressing the Timed Game button now will take
you back to the previous menu, or alternatively take you back to normal/game
mode, only if you are at the first menu.
Once the selected location is reached e.g. “GAME PRICE” press the Timed
Game button once and the current price of play will be displayed, if this price is
suitable press the 3Some or 8ball buttons to move on, if not, press the Timed
Game button again and the left hand digit will flash, indicating that you can
edit this value.
By pressing 3Some or 8ball buttons will increment or decrement the flashing
digit. Press the Timed Game button once when the desired value is displayed
and the flashing digit will move one step to the right, repeat the sequence until
the display no longer flashes. At this point pressing the 3Some or 8ball buttons
will allow you to move thru menus, the above procedure applies to all editable
values.
8 Ball Button = go up thru a menu or increment data
3Some Button = go down thru a menu or decrement data
Timed Game Button = go into a menu or enter value

Setting the clock
The clock has been preset at the factory and should not need adjusting *.
The clock can be set up as follows:-
Select “set time 24 hour” (see Navigation Map) pressing the Timed Game
button at this point will display the current time, press the Timed Game button
again then use the 3Some, 8 Ball and Timed Game buttons to set the correct
time in 24 hour mode.
When setting a new day enter 1 for Monday and 2 for Tuesday etc.
Please note: -
If the real time clock battery is replaced the time must be setup, this allows
system timing to be measured i.e. timed game and speed pool,
It is necessary to adjust the time during daylight savings time. This is
achieved by following the above instructions.
Implementing Zones
Zone pricing and credit settings are completely independent to the standard
price and unique to each of the three zones.
To program a zone enter your required pricing then the start and finish times,
finally enter the start and finish day.
Please note, when zones overlap zone 2 overrides zone 3 and zone 1 overrides
zones 2 and 3.
All time settings are programmed in 24-hour mode.

General Operation / Adjustments
Cue Ball Separator Adjustment
Wood – Magnet Holder
Loosen the ¼-20 Hex Hd. bolt to adjust the magnet
holder.
The far back edge of the magnet holder should
slightly overhang the wall.
The close front edge of the magnet holder should be
flush with the wall.
Oversize Ball Separator
Note: This is adjusted up out of
the way from the factory. If an
oversized ball is to be used in the
game, loosen the screw and lower
the aluminum bar so that it just
touches the oversized cue ball and
directs it into the cue ball return.
Cue Ball Separator
After the 15th ball is made the cue ball should
“lock-out” and be captured inside of the pool
table. Once the balls are dumped the cue ball
will return to the head of the pool table.

Open the side access door. Directly inside
of the pool table you will find the 9-Ball
Trap Stop. Remove it from the bottom and
install it in the 3Some Ball side upper ball
wedge.
Side Access Door
Nine Ball Stop assembled inside of the 3Some Ball trap. Note
that the nine ball stop can be adjusted so that the cue ball can be
properly locked out after the last ball has been pocketed.
Note: The last ball sensor board does not
need to be moved for playing nine ball.
Instead you must add the 9-ball stop to
the upper ball wedge. The 9-ball stop is
stored behind the side access door.
