5. Do not place ignitable material, such as benzine, L.P. gas, alcohol etc., into this unit.
6. Take precautions against leakage of any gas equipment near this unit.
7. Keep chidren from hanging on the door of this unit.
8.Do not reinsert the power supply cord within 5 minutes after releasing it from the
socket. If not, there may be problems with the compressor.
9. Put food in the refrigerator after running the refrigerator for 2~3 hours.

Take a moment to know all the features designed for the convenience of the user.
■ Ice tray
Fill 3/4 of the ice tray with water, as the volume expands when the water is frozen. Place
the tray in the freezer compartment. To release ice cubes, twist the ice tray slightly. Ice
cubeswill be easier toremove ifit is held for ashort while under running water.
■ Movable refrigerator and freezer shelves
Storage shelves should beadjusted depending on the height of the food stored. To do this,
pulltheshelvesslightlyforward.
■ Defrost-drain Vessel
Since dust accumulated on the drain case decreases the evaporation efficiency, you
should cleanthedrain case atregularintervals.
■ Vegetable case
May be used for fruit and vegetable storage. Both the vegetable case and its cover shelf
are removable foreasycleaning.Simplyslideforwardto remove.
■ Utility Pocket (Top)
TheEgg Case in this pocket can be turned upside downfor the use ofsmall sizegoods.
Location
Install the refrigerator in a convenient location away from extreme heat and cold. Allow
at least 6cm clearancebetween the refrigerator and side wall so that the doormay open
for a fully usable interior and the refrigerator may have good air circulation. The
refrigeratoris not designed forrecessed installation.
■ Select a strongand levelfloor.
■ Keep 6cm of space between therefrigerator andthe walls.

CAUTION
1. TEMPERATURE CONTROL
To turnoff therefrigerator
NOTE:Duringspellsofhot,humidweatherandinrainyseason,moisture
maydeveloponthecabinet,justaswatercondenses aroundacold
glassofwater.Itis notanabnormalcondition;wipeoffthemoisture
witha drycloth.Thiscanalsohappenwhentherefrigeratorisnot
installedinanappropriateplace.
1. Clean the refrigerator thoroughly. Wipetheoutsidewith adry cloth, andthe inside with
a damp cloth.
2. Setthe temperaturecontrol knob at normal position.
3. Connect the power supply cord.
Disconnect the power supply cord. Remove icingcase and food. Leave doors ajar for
ventilation and dehumidification of bothcompartments.
Improper use of the grounding plug can resultin electricshock. If a grounding adapter
isused,makesurethereceptacleboxisfullygrounded.
POWERCORDREPLACEMENT
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service
agentorasimmilaryqualifiedpersoninordertoavoidahazard.

WiththeRefrigeratingSysteminoperation,itislikely thatthe cabinetwillfeel warmatthefront
edgesandsides.Thisdoesnotindicatetrouble.
Itisduetothehot-lineusedinthistypeofRefrigeratingSystemwhichconsistsofpipinghotgas
fromthe(motor-driven)compressoralongthefrontedges,thesidesofthecabinetandthecenter
partitiontopreventdewing.Thishasnothingtodowiththestoragetemperatureinside.

2. RADIANT HEAT
When notoperatingfora long time
■ Removethepowersupplycord.
■ Dryyourrefrigeratorbyopeningthedoorfor2-3days.
When youget ready to move
■ Securelyfastenmovableinteriorparts (orremoveandpackthemseparately).
■ DONOTlaydownyourrefrigeratorhorizontally,orthecompressormaybedamaged.
If therefrigerator is not operating:
■ Isthepowersupplycord unplugged?
■ Isthehome fuse orcircuitoutoforder?
If the refrigerator is warmer than usual:
■ Hasthe door beenopenedfrequentlyor for a long period?
■ Arethereany hot food oranything thathas been stored without cooling?
■ Is the clearancebetweenthe refrigerator and the wallgivensufficiently?
If there are unusual sounds:
■ Is the refrigerator placed onalevelled floor?
■ Are thereanyforeignobjectsbehindtherefrigerator?
■ Aredishes on refrigeratorshelves vibrating?
