IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
For your own safety read following instructions carefully before attempting to connect this TV to the
mains.
Mains Supply: 230V ~ 50Hz - AC only
This unit is designed to operate on a 230V~50Hz supply only. Connecting it to other power sources
may damage it. Ensure that the supply corresponds to the information on the rating label on the bottom
of the unit.
This component system may be fitted with a non-rewireable plug. If it is necessary to change the fuse in
a non-rewireable plug the fuse cover must be refitted. If the fuse cover becomes lost or damaged, the
plug must not be used until a replacement, available from the manufacturer, is obtained. It is important
that the colour of the replacement fuse cover corresponds with the colour marking on the base of the
plug.
If the plug needs to be changed because it is not suitable for your socket, or becomes damaged, it
should be cut off and an appropriate plug fitted following the wiring instructions below. The plug must
then be disposed of safely, as insertion into a 13A socket is likely to cause an electrical hazard.
IMPORTANT
The wires in the mains plug should be connected as shown in the diagram.
The colours of the wires in the mains lead of the unit may not correspond with the coloured markings
identifying the terminals in your plug. Connect them as follows:-
The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter 'N' or
coloured black.
The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter ' L'
or coloured red.
The wire which is coloured yellow and green must be connected to the terminal marked EARTH.
If a 13 Amp (BS 1363) Plug is used, a 3 Amp Fuse must be fitted, or if any other type of Plug is used a 3
Amp or 5 Amp Fuse must be fitted, either in the Plug or Adaptor, or on the Distribution Board.

inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
To achieve the utmost in enjoyment and performance, please read this manually carefully before
attempting to operate the unit in order to became familiar with its features, and assure you years of
faithful, trouble free performance.
Important Notes
zKeep instructions the safety and operating instructions should be retained for future reference.
zAvoid installing the unit in locations described below:
Exposed to direct sunlight or close to heat radiating appliances such as electric heaters.
On top of other stereo equipment that radiate too much heat.
Places lacking ventilation or dusty places.
Places subject to constant vibration.
Humid or moist places.
zMake sure not to obstruct the ventilation opening.
zOperate turning controls and switches as instructed in the manual.
zBefore turning on the power for the first time, make certain the power cord is properly installed.
For safety reasons, do not remove any covers or attempt to gain access to the inside of the product.
Refer any servicing to qualified personal.
Do not attempt to remove any screws, or open the casing of the unit; there are no user serviceable
parts inside, refer all servicing to qualified service personal.

Note:
This unit will become warm when used for a long period of time. This is normal and does not indicate
a problem with the unit.

Before Getting Started
Please read through this section carefully and follow the instructions to maximize
the reliable operation and lifetime of your LCD display. Always keep these
instructions handy and close by your LCD display. Keep the instructions and the
packaging so that if you sell or give away your LCD display you can give them to the
new owner.
Operating Safety
•Never open the housing of the LCD display /power supply! When the housing is
open there is a danger of injury from electric shock!
•Do not insert any objects through the slots and openings of the monitor. This may lead
to an electrical short-circuit or even fire resulting in damage to your LCD display.
•Slots and openings in the LCD display are for ventilation purpose. Do not cover
these openings, as this may lead to overheating.
•Do not allow children to play unattended with electrical equipment. Children may
not always correctly recognize danger.
•This LCD display is intended for personal use only. It not intended for commercial
use in a heavy industry environment.
•An injury hazard exists when the display breaks. Wear protective gloves to pack
the broken parts and send them into your service centre for proper disposal. Then
wash your hands with soap, because it is possible for chemicals to escape.
•Never exert pressure on the display. This could break the monitor.
•Do not touch the display with your fingers or with sharp objects to avoid damage.
Contact your dealer immediately in any of the following situations. Do NOT
plug in or turn on your display:
•if the power cable/power supply overheats or is damaged
•if liquid has got into the monitor
•if the LCD display is dropped or the housing damaged

Connecting
Observe the following instructions to connect your LCD display properly:
Power Supply
•Do not open the power supply housing. An open housing
presents a lethal hazard from electrical shock. There are no parts
inside to be cleaned or serviced.
•Operate your LCD display only with grounded outlets with AC 100-240V/ 50-60 Hz. If
you are not sure about the power supply at your location, check with your power
company.
•Use only the power supply and power connection cable provided.
•For additional safety we recommend use of a surge protector to protect your LCD
display from damage resulting from voltage surges or lightning.
•To remove the LCD display from the power supply, disconnect the plug from the
AC outlet.
•The power outlet must be in the vicinity of your LCD display and within reach of
the power cables. DO NOT stretch the power cables tightly to reach a power
outlet.
•You should arrange the LCD display cables in a manner that no one can trip over
or step on them.
•To avoid damage of cable do not place any objects or furniture on the cable.
Point of use
•Keep your LCD display and all units connected to it away from moisture and avoid
dust, heat and direct sunlight. Failure to observe these instructions can lead to
malfunctions or damage to the LCD display.
•Place and operate all units on a stable, level and vibration-free surface in
order to avoid the LCD display from falling.

Additional Safety Instructions
When using any electronic equipment, basic safety precautions should always be
taken. Following the guidelines below can reduce the risk of fire, electric shock
and injury to person:
•Do not use this product near water (e.g., near a bathtub, wash bowl, kitchen sink
or laundry tub, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool).
•Avoid using a telephone/modem (other than a cordless type) during an electrical
storm. There may be a remote risk of electric shock from lightning.
•Do not use the telephone/modem to report a gas leak in the vicinity of the leak.
•Use only the power cord indicated in this manual. Do not dispose of batteries in a
fire. They may explode. Check with local codes for possible special disposal
instructions.
•Keep batteries away from children at all times.
Precautions
•There are no parts which can be serviced or cleaned inside of
the TV display housing.
You can increase the life of your LCD display by taking the following precautions:
•Before cleaning always disconnect the power line and all connection cables.
•Do not use any solvents, caustic or gaseous cleaning agents.
•Clean the display with a soft, lint-free cloth.
•Ensure that no water droplets remain on the screen. Water can cause
permanent discoloration.
•Do not expose the screen to bright sunlight or ultraviolet radiation.
Information on Disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
This symbol on the product or in the instructions means that your
electrical and electronic equipment should be disposed at the end of life separately
from your household waste. There are separate collection systems for recycling in
the EU. For more information, please contact the local authority or your retailer
where you purchased the product.

Overview of the TV – Function Keys
Function Keys (on the display panel) :
ARC / EXIT •Select the TV display mode to switch Auto Image /
Panorama / 16:9 / 14:9 / 4:3 / Zoom.
•When in OSD* menu, press ARC / EXIT to close the
OSD menu
- VOLUME + •Turn up or turn down the volume.
▼CHANNEL▲•Change channels.
MENU •Display the OSD main menu.
•Return to previous menu when in OSD menu.
SOURCE •Select input source VGA / HDMI / CVBS / S-Video /
TV / SCART1 / SCART2 / SCART2 S / YUV.
•When OSD MENU is invoked, it will function as the
"OK" key to setup a function or enter a sub-menu.
POWER •Turn on or turn off the TV.
NOTE:
Function Keys: These buttons control your TV’s basic features, including the on-screen display
(OSD see page 26). To use the more advanced features, you must use the remote control.

Setting Up
Connections
Connecting Video devices via AV cables
This TV accepts different Video Inputs. Connect to device connectors with better
video quality will bring you better viewing enjoyment. The video quality sequence
from the best to a normal one would be Component, SCART, S-VIDEO, and CVBS.
NOTE:
•ANT IN: TV aerial input
•No connection cables are supplied with this TV. These may be purchased from most TV/Hifi
retail outlets.

Connecting a Video device via HDMI - HDMI
This can be applied only if there is an HDMI Output connector on the external
device.
NOTE:
•Video Devices ex: DVD Player, Set-top Box, Game Box…etc.
•HDMI: High-Definition Multimedia Interface
•No Audio Cable is needed when via HDMI to HDMI connection.
•Press PC/HD button on your remote to view HDMI from your HDMI DVD player or other HDMI
devise.

Connecting a PC via VGA cable
NOTE:
•Connect a VGA cable between the D-SUB connecter on the TV and the VGA connecter on a
PC.
•Connect an audio cable between the PC AUDIO IN jack on the TV and AUDIO OUT jack on a
PC.
•Connection cables not supplied.

Watching TV
Turning the LCD TV On and Off
Turning On
After the LCD TV is connected, you can then turn on your LCD TV. Follow the
instructions below to turn the display on:
Step 1: Place supplied two (AAA) batteries into the remote control; make sure the
batteries are oriented correctly.
Step 2: Connect the Power Cord into the AC IN located in the back of the display.
The indicator on the bottom right side of the display will show in the red
light.
