RMT is a remote switch designed
to work with both versions of The
Underfacer and Isolator, and connects
to any version of these products with
a standard TRS cable. It will also work
with a TS cable if you’re in a pinch,
however for the RMT’s LED to function
you will need a TRS cable.
It controls The Underfacer’s summing
and master mute and Isolator’s two
muting options.
Connection
Connect to either The Underfacer
or Isolator’s RMT jack.

When connected to The Underfacer
— Press the foot switch to activate The Underfacer’s master
mute – RMT’s LED will be lit when mute is engaged.
— Hold the foot switch for 3 sec to switch back and forth
between The Underfacer’s stereo and mono modes – RMT’s
LED will flash to show the mode has changed. The Underfacer’s
LED will change colour to show which mode it is in. RMT’s LED
does not change colour.
When connected to Isolator:
— Press the foot switch to mute Isolator’s OUT B – RMT’s LED will
be lit when mute is engaged.
— Hold the foot switch for 3 sec to activate Isolator’s master
mute which affects OUT A and OUT B – RMT’s LED will flash to
show when the master mute is engaged, and then flash again
when it is disengaged. If OUT B’s mute is already engaged, the
master mute will affect OUT A only – see the Isolator manual
for further explanation.
