1. Introduction
1.1 Thank You
Thank you for the purchase of your GoRave Soul Shaker subwoofer. This manual provides basic installation and operating instruc-
tions. The manual will help you experience the performance your subwoofer was designed to produce.
1.2 Safety Precautions
►Carefully read this manual before connecting or operating your GoRave Soul Shaker subwoofer. Keep this manual for
later reference.
►To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this product to rain, liquids, or moisture. Liquids can cause prod-
uct failure and fire. Do not spill liquids onto any part of the system.
►Connect your Soul Shaker to the power outlet only with the supplied 2-pin power cable. Do not modify the supplied cable
in any way. To safely disconnect the power cable, first disconnect the plug from the wall receptacle and then remove the
cable from the sound bar. Do not crush, pinch, bend at severe angles, expose to heat, or damage the power cable in any
way.
►Do not place near radiators, heating registers, stoves, or other appliances that produce heat.
►There are no user serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Stop using the GoRave Soul
Shaker and have it inspected and/or serviced by qualified service personnel if:
• The power supply cord or plug has been damaged.
• Objects have fallen into or liquid has been spilled into the unit.
• The unit has been dropped or damaged in any way.

3. Playing from Smartphones, Tablets, and Computers
3.1 Quick start guide
a) Insert a GoRave Audio Sender into your source device (smartphone, tablet, TV, laptop).
b) Play audio on your device.
c) Double-click the Pair/Bond button on the Soul Shaker. The LED status indicator should turn bright amber and you will hear
your audio playing from the Soul Shaker subwoofer.
d) Use the crossover and volume adjustment controls on the subwoofer’s back panel to suit your listening style.
e) Press and hold the Pair/Bond button for 3 seconds to add your Audio Sender to the Soul Shaker’s Favorites List. The LED
will turn bright green.
f) Press the Pair/Bond button four times to put the Soul Shaker into “All Play” mode. The LED will turn red.
3.2 The Pair/Bond Button and LED Status Indicator
3.3 Playing audio from a smartphone or tablet device
a) Insert a mobile GoRave Audio Sender into your smartphone or tablet device. If you are using a 30-pin Apple device, (e.g.
iPhone 4S) install the GoRave app from the Apple iTunes Store.
b) Start playing audio on the device. At this point, the device is transmitting audio via the Audio Sender.
c) If the Audio Sender is the only one transmitting and it has been added to your Soul Shaker’s Favorites List, then you will hear
your audio play from the subwoofer.
d) If the Audio Sender has not been favorited, follow the instructions in Section 3.6 to add your Audio Sender to the Soul
Shaker’s Favorites List.
e) If the Audio Sender is not the only one transmitting and your Soul Shaker is playing audio from another source, follow the
instructions in Section 3.8 to hear audio from a different Audio Sender.
f) The GoRave app will list the GoRave Receivers the device is connected to. In the app, you can control the volume of each
Receiver as well as Master Volume up/down.
3.4 Playing audio from a MacOS computer (USB Audio Sender)

Single Click Playing or waiting to play from an Audio Sender on the
Favorite List.

Double Click Playing or waiting to play from an Audio Sender that has
not yet been added to the Favorite List.

Hold Add or remove an Audio Sender from the Soul Shaker’s
Favorite List by pressing and holding the connect button
for 4 seconds.
to = added Favorite
(flashing red) = deleted
4 Clicks RECOMMENDED MODE: put the Soul Shaker into “All
Play” mode to play from any Favorite Audio Sender with-
out manually pressing Connect button each time.

6 Clicks Clear the Favorites List and reset volume settings. (flashing red) = list reset
