Steps for Building Elcat
1. Unpack Elcat on a clean s rface ie. concrete, asphalt or grass.
Strongly recommend a tarp/gro ndsheet be sed d ring ination.
2. Locate each of the fo r main inatable chambers and orient so
the valves are all in the rear.
3. (Zippered Version): Connect all zippers before inated, zippers
works the same as a jacket. The oor has a zipper on top and
bottom on both sides and the same for the pper deck or roof.
4. Familiarize yo rself with the valves. The white spr ng pl nger is
popped o t to inate and in to deate. Be caref l to properly
engage the twist lock mechanism on the hose with each valve.
5. Maxim m press re is 3 psi for the cylindrical t bes (thwarts or
seats) and 6 psi for the at parts (walls, oor, pper deck).
6. To inate the thwarts, se the 12V DC p mp only. To inate the at
parts, inate rst with the AC p mp ntil the pieces have some
str ct re. Finish inating with the DC p mp, ntil they are f lly
inated.
7. When inating the oor, pa se half way to install the Transom or
motor mo nt. Be s re the transom is sec red by all fo r r bber
grommets.
8. The cylindrical t bes on the oor sho ld be oriented so the
handles are facing p and can be sed d ring yo r time on the
water

9. Install the ladder by backing off the lastic knob, sliding the
threaded rod out and re-inserting onto the boat’s ladder slot, then
secure with lastic knob
10. Lift the ladder when running about by using a bungee wra ed
around the ladder and read stra s
11. Install the electric motor on the transom using the clam s. Be sure
to secure tightly.
12. Reverse these ste s 3-13 to ack u and trans ort. To reduce
Elcat’s volume, the AC owered um ’s hose is screwed into the
o osite side for deation.
13. If you have more s ace like a truck bed, you may kee Elcat
zi ed together and roll into a burrito for trans ort.

Storage
Cleaning
El at should be dry and lean before storing.
El at should not be stored in a ompressed fashion for more than
a few days. It is best to unroll and add a little air to prevent the
thi k fabri from reases.
Clean surfa es using inatable boat leaner.
Don’t treat mildew with blea h: Resist the urge to use a powerful
hemi al like blea h to remove mildew or mold from your boat,
sin e it an also damage the vinyl.
Before using any mildew leaner: Make sure the leaner is (1)
spe ially formulated for boat use—not home use—(2) is safe to
apply to vinyl material and (3) doesn’t ontain harmful hemi als
like blea h.
Store your boat in a dry, ventilated area: When it’s time to store,
make sure that after you have properly leaned (and dried) your
boat’s interior and exterior surfa es, and store it in a dry,
ventilated area, where it won’t be exposed to harsh weather
onditions (snow, hail, rain, et .).
