1. Safety Information
• Please do not dismantle any part of the system. Please contact the vendor if any repairs are required.
• In order to prevent damage to the device, please do not twist or bend the water lines.
• Avoid puncturing the sleeves and tubing. If any defects or blemishes are found in the sleeves and tubing, please cease use.
• ProMax-900 could be cold enough to seriously damage skin.
• ProMax-900 could reach pressure high enough to damage muscle and blood vessels. Please use the device with caution.
• Many device functions can be manually controlled, the user must stay alert and sober while operating.
• The air pump system is semi-manual, amount of pressure and options to inflate or deflate are mainly controlled by the user.
For the sake of safety, please cease use of the device in the event of numbing or lack of sensation in the affected limbs.
• Wrap deflation: Turning off the system will automatically open the air-release valve and release air from the wrap.
• Improper placement or prolonged use of ProMax-900 could result in tissue damage from frostbite or inhibited blood circulation.
Please be attentive while using this device.
• During ProMax-900 treatment, patients should monitor the skin surrounding the treated region or the digits of the extremities of the
treated limb for any burning, itching, increased swelling, or pain. If any of these signs are present, or any changes in skin
appearance occur (such as blisters, increased redness, discoloration, or other noticeable skin changes), patients
are advised to discontinue use and consult a physician.
• ProMax-900 sleeves are not sterile; do not place directly against open wounds, sores, rashes, infections, or stitches. May be applied
over clothing or dressing.
• ProMax-900 should be used only under the supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner in users:
-Who have a wound in the affected region (the wound must be dressed prior to use of ProMax-900).
- Who have an acute, unstable (untreated) fracture in the affected region.
- Who are children under 18 years old or patients who have cognitive disabilities or communication barriers, whether
temporary due to medication or permanent.
-Who have a cardiac insufficiency or congestive heart failure (with associated edema in the extremities or lungs).
- Who have a localized skin condition (e.g., dermatitis, vein ligation, gangrene, skin graft) in the affected region.
-Who have erysipelas or other active infections in the affected region.

2. Contraindications
Compression therapy (pneumatic compression) using ProMax-900 should not be used on patients who:
•Are in the acute stages of inflammatory phlebitis in the affected region
•Have significant arteriosclerosis or other vascular ischemic disease in the affected region
•Have a condition in which increased venous or lymphatic return is not desired in the affected extremity
(e.g., carcinoma)
•Have decompensated hypertonia in the affected region
•Have pre-existing deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
•Have presumptive evidence of congestive heart failure
Cryotherapy using ProMax-900 should not be used on patients who:
•Have significant vascular impairment in the affected region (e.g., from prior frostbite, diabetes,
arteriosclerosis or ischemia)
•Have acute paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria or cryoglobulinemia
•Have acute inflammatory skin diseases or infection
In the event of any pain or discomfort, IMMEDIATELY POWER OFF the device and
disconnect ALL sleeve air lines.

then slow down until the machine is stopped.
(All settings can be changed at any moment.)

9. Device storage and maintenance
1. Disconnect the power source.
2. Disconnect water line connector from the pump unit.
3. Do not use the device in areas with high humidity (e.g., sauna, bathrooms).

1. To return water from the sleeve to the water container:
a) Connected water line connector with sleeve.
b) Pour out the water in the water container. Turn on the pump unit and set the water circulation to
“Continue” mode.
c) Continue this function until the sleeve is as dry as possible.
2. All sleeves are for individual use. Wipe the inside and outside of the sleeves with a damp cloth, and dry with a
dry cloth afterwards. Sleeves are not machine-washable.
3. Sleeves are best stored in a dry, open area.

and workmanship that result in Product failure during normal usage, according to the following terms and conditions:
1. The limited warranty extends only to the original end-user purchaser and holder of this warranty. The warranty is not transferable or assignable
to any subsequent purchaser.
2. Proof of purchase of the Product in the form of a dated itemized receipt or invoice is required to be eligible for this limited warranty.
3. The limited warranty is ONLY applicable in the country or territory where the product was purchased from an authorized GPE LLC. retailer and
excludes any product that has not been purchased as new or is obtained as a result of the purchase of a non-GPE LLC. product.
4. During the Warranty Period (as provided below), GPE LLC. will repair, or replace, at GPE LLC. sole option, any defective parts or any parts that
will not properly operate for their intended purpose with new or refurbished parts if such repair or replacement is needed.
a. The limited warranty for the Product extends for Ninety (90) days from the date of the purchase (“Warranty Period”). The warranty
period will be extended by each whole day that the Product is out of the possession for repair under this warranty.
b. GPE LLC. will pay for the labor charges incurred by GPE LLC. in repairing or replacing the defective parts during the Warranty Period from
the date of your purchase.
c. GPE LLC. also warrants that the repaired or replaced parts will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of FIFTEEN
(15) days from the date of repair or replacement, or for the remainder of the Warranty Period, whichever is greater.
5. GPE LLC. does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Product. GPE LLC. is not under any obligation to support the Product for
all operating environments, including but not limited to.
6. For repairs during warranty period, please refer to the Product Returns section of the GPE LLC. Customer Support Services documentation
accompanying the Product for repair information. This document will provide you with contact information for a GPE LLC. office and step-by-
step procedures for returning the Product for warranty service.
a. You must provide proof of purchase of the Product by a dated itemized receipt or invoice.
b. You will bear the cost of shipping the Product to GPE LLC.. GPE LLC. will bear the cost of shipping the Product back to You after
completing the warranty service.
c. You will be issued a Return Authorization Number. Please write the RA number on the outside of the package. GPE LLC. will not accept a
return that does not have a return authorization or the RA number on the outer packaging.
•Only return the defective item(s). GPE LLC. is not responsible for other products or accessories returned with the defective item.
