smaller spaces and suffocate.
DO NOT use for infants. This ed is
not a su stitute for a cri . The toddler
ed is intended for a child etween 15
months and 5 years of age. Maximum
weight 50 pounds (23 kg).
DO NOT place ed near windows
where cords from linds or drapes
may strangle a child. Child may
fall out of the window.
DO NOT use a water mattress or all
foam mattress with this toddler ed.
THIS P ODUCT EQUI ES ADULT ASSEMBLY.
ALWAYS use a full-size cri mattress, eing at least 515/8in.
(131 cm) in length, 271/4in. (69 cm) in width, and 4 in. (10
cm) in thickness.
DISCONTINUE USE OF THE TODDLE BED when your
child weighs more than 50 pounds (23 kg). Use the ed
with only one child at a time.
USE ONLY ed rails provided y Graco®.

damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts or sharp

Finishing Assembly
Place a standard full-size cri
mattressat least 515/8in. (131
cm) long y 271/4in. (69 cm)
wide y 4 in. (10 cm) thickon
finished toddler ed frame. The
mattress must e placed so the two mattress retainers
on frame are outside of the mattress to prevent it from
moving. Your toddler ed is now ready to use.

Bumps
Step 1.
Begin y attaching frame to the
foot oard.
Stand foot oard at one end of the
metal frame with Graco®name fac-
ing out and four plastic  umps of
the foot oard facing toward frame.
Holding foot oard upright, grasp
the two side tu es as shown and
lift carefully. Rest ends of side
tu es on the foot oard.
Step 2.
Insert two T-nuts through two
holes in side tu es and into foot-
oard tu e as shown. Place olts
into holes on outside of foot oard
tu es and into T-nuts. Tighten
olts with enclosed hex wrench.
Repeat on other side of foot oard.
Step 3.
Attach head oard in the same
way. The side with the deeper
recess should e facing the ed
as shown.
After oth end oards have een
attached to frame, use the hex
wrench to FIRMLY TIGHTEN all
eight olts into their T-nuts.
Step 4.
To create star panel, first twist
glow-in-the-dark pieces off the
plastic stem (immediately
discard stem). From the back
of the decorative panel, insert
pieces y pushing firmly in the
center of each one. (There are
three different sizes of stars and
star openings.) Check that all
stars are used and no holes are
left empty.
Step 5.
Hold panel in place on head oard
while inserting five screws through
ack of head oard. (The plastic in
the screw holes may need to e
removed.) Tighten screws securely,
ut do not over-tighten.

Step 1.
Snap the mattress retainers
onto the center of the side
tu es. The ri s of each retainer
should face the inside of the
ed frame. Line up the holes of
the mattress retainers with the
small holes in the side tu es.
Step 2.
Fasten each mattress retainer
to the side tu es with one T-nut
and olt. T-nut must e on
inside of frame. Tighten olts
and T-nuts with the hex wrench.
Step 3.
Position mattress support with
printed side up as shown. Fold
edges down at creases, and
place on ed so notches in
edges fit over the cross ars.

Step 1.
There are left and right ed rails.
When installed correctly, the note
on the ed rails, THIS SIDE
MUST FACE MATTRESS, will
e to the inside of the ed.
Snap ed rails on ed side
tu es as shown.
Step 2.
Lift ed rails and slide them to
the inside of the head oard.
Snap to head oard as shown.
Mattress retainer will fit in the
recessed area in the ed rails.
Be sure bed
rails are secure. Bed rails must
be attached to headboard on
the inside of the post.
Step 3.
Repeat on other side. Both bed
rails must be used. Do not rely
on wall to keep child in ed. See
warnings.

Assembling the Frame
Step 1.
Line up the side tu es and
cross ars on the floor as
shown at right. It may e
helpful to race one side tu e
against a wall or stationary
o ject. Holes in side tu es
must face each other.
Step 2.
Insert ends of the cross ars
into holes in the side tu es.

Assembling the
Headboard and Footboard
Step 1.
Legs have a small side hole near
one end. For each leg, push end
with side hole firmly down into
a plastic foot. Side hole must e
covered y foot. It may e
necessary to tap foot on a hard
surface to get it all the way on.
Step 2.
Assem le head oard and long
legs. Push open end of one long
leg onto plastic plug under kno 
on one side of head oard.
Then push leg sideways so the
rectangular plug on lower side
of head oard goes into hole on
side of the leg.
Attach other long leg in the
same way to other side of the
head oard.
Assem le the foot oard and
short legs the same way.
Step 3.
Insert a hex head screw into
lowest hole on each leg and
into plastic head- or foot oard.
Tighten screw securely with the
included hex wrench, but do
not over-tighten.
Repeat for other three legs.
CHECK that all four legs are
securely attached to the
head- and footboards by
pulling on the legs.
