1.ImportantSafetyInstructions
Makesurethatyouonlyusethepoweradapterthatisspecifiedin
thespecificationssheetoftheproduct.Ifyouuseanyotheradapter
orconnectthepowersupplyincorrectly,thismaycauseexplosion,
fire,electricshocksordamagetheproduct.Donotconnectseveral
devicestoonepoweradapterasthismaycauseanadapter
overloadandcanleadtoover‐heatingandfire.Makesurethatthe
plugofthepoweradapterisfirmlyconnectedtothepowersocket.
Donotplacecontainerswithliquidsontheproduct.Donotplace
conductingitemsliketools,screws,coinsorothermetalitemson
theproduct.Thesemayfallfromtheproductorcancausefireor
electricshocksorotherphysicalinjuries.
Donotpushorinsertanysharpitemsoranyobjectsintothedevice
asthismaycausedamagetotheproduct,fire,electricshocks
and/orphysicalinjuries.
Donotblockanyventilationopenings,ifthereareany.Ensurethat
theproductiswellventilatedtopreventanyover‐heating.
Donotsubjectthedevicetophysicalshockordroptheproduct.
Iftheproductusesbatteries,pleaseuseabatterytypethatis
recommendedbythemanufacturer.Improperuseorreplacement
ofthebatterymayresultinthehazardofexplosion.
DonotuseanyaccessoriesthatarenotrecommendedbyGRUNDIG.
Donotmodifytheproductinanyway.
Iftheproductstartstosmellorsmokecomesoutofthedevice,
immediatelystopusingtheproductanddisconnectitfromthe
powersupplytopreventfireorelectricshocks.Thencontactyour
dealerorthenearestservicecenter.
Iftheproductdoesnotworkcorrectly,contactyourdealeror
nearestservicecenter.Neveropen,disassembleoralterthe
productyourself.GRUNDIGcannotacceptanyliabilityor
responsibilityforproblemscausedbyattemptedandunauthorized
repairandmaintenance.
2.InstallationInstructions
Itisnecessarytofixthedevicefirmlyiftheproductisinstalledona
wallorceiling.
Donotinstalltheproductnearradiationsources.Donotinstallthe
productnearheatsources,likeradiatorsorotherequipmentthat
producessomeheat.
Donotinstalltheproductinverycoldorhottemperatures(please
refertotheworkingtemperaturespecifiedinthespecification
sheetoftheproduct),dusty,dirtyordampenvironment.
Nevertouchthescreendirectlywithyourfingers.Theacidicsweat
ofthefingersmaybedifficulttoremoveandyoumaydamagethe
screen.
Donottouchthesurfaceofthescreenwithsharporabrasiveitems
(likepensorscrewdrivers),asthiscouldscratchthedisplay.
Themonitorisonlyforindooruse.Pleasedonotinstallitinan
environmentwhereitisexposedtooil,vapor,steam,moistureand
dust,butinacleanenvironmentwithlowhumidity.

Donotapplyanypressuretothemonitorscreenasthescreenmay
break.
Donotinstallthemonitorinalocationthatisexposedtodirect
sunlight,dust,mechanicalvibrationorshock.
Alwaysplacethemonitoronaflatsurface.
Connectthepowersupplytothesocketandplugthevideocableor
HDMI/VGAcabletothedesiredsignalsource.
Disconnectthepowerplugfromthepoweroutletunderfollowing
conditions:
‐Ifyouwillnotuseitforanindefiniteperiodoftime.
‐Whenthepowercordorplugisdamagedorfrayed.
‐Iftheproducthasbeendroppedorthecabinethasbeendamaged.
‐Iftheproductexhibitsadistinctchangeinperformance,this
indicatesaneedforservice.
Tocleanthemonitor'splasticcaseanddisplay,asoft,lint‐freecloth
canbeused.Donotuseanycleaningmaterialswithabrasive
surfaceslikescrubpadstocleanyourmonitor.
Tocleanthedisplay,aslightlydampclothmaybeusedtocleanoff
fingerprintsorsmudges.Pleaseunplugthemonitorfirstbefore
attemptingcleaningwithadampcloth.
Tocleantheplasticcase,amilddetergentmaybeusedtocleanthe
surface.Butpleasedonotusetoomuchdetergentorwaterasthis
couldleakintotheinteriorofthemonitor.Pleaseunplugthe
monitorfirstbeforeattemptingcleaningwithadetergentorwater.
DoNOTuseanyliquidcleanersbasedonalcohol,methylatedspirit
orammoniaoraerosolcleaners,asthismaydamageanycoating
presentontheglasssurfaceofthemonitor.Useonlymildsoapor
detergentwithwaterorspecialcleanersforcleaningglasspanels.

NOTE:HDMIincludesnotonlytheimagetransferbutalsothe
abilitytotransmitaudio.
DP:DisplayPortConnector
VGAIN:ConnectthemonitorwithaVGAcable.Fastenthescrews.
AUDIOIN:Pleaseusethe3.5mmjacktotransmitaudiosignalsfor
VGAmode.

5.HowToConnectAndTurnOnYourMonitor
Whenchoosingyourwork‐space,selectasturdy,levelsurface.Also,
makesureyoucaneasilyaccessthebackofthemonitor.Easy
accesshelpsensureasmoothset‐upofthemonitor.
NOTE:Beforesettingupyourmonitor,refertotheImportantSafety
Instructionschapteratthebeginningofthisdocument.
1.Turnoffyourdevice.Youshouldalwaysturnoffyourdevice
beforeconnectingordisconnectinganydevice.
2.Exampleofcableconnection:ConnectoneendoftheVGAcable
totheVGAconnectoronthemonitor.Connecttheotherendto
yourapplication’sVGAconnector.
3.Plugthemonitor’spowercableintothepowersupply.
3.Pressthe“Power”(ON/OFF)button.
Afterpressingthe“Power”button,itwilltakeapproximately6sec.
untilthemonitorisreadyandthedisplayisvisible.
ThesearethevariouspowerstatesoftheLEDmonitorrepresented
bythedifferentLEDcolorsonthePOWERbutton:

6. OSDMenuConfiguration
‐Pressthe"SOURCE"buttontoaccesstheOSDmenu.
‐Press/\/\/,>/<toswitchbetweenthefivemenus.
‐Afterhavingselectedamenu,press"MENU"toselectamenuitem.
Press/\/\/,>/<toadjustthesettingsofthisitem.
‐Togotoanothermenu,pressthe"MENU"buttonagaintoreturn
tothepreviousmenuandgowiththe/\/\/,>/<buttontothe
desiredmenu.
‐Pressthe"MENU"buttontoexittheOSDMenu.

7.1.Picture
InthePicturemenu,youcansetthepicturemode,brightness,
contrast,colortemperatureetc.Pressthe\/or/\buttontoadjust
thevaluewhenanitemisselected.
7.2.Sound
IntheAudiomenu,youcansetthesoundtomuteandsetthe
volume.Pressthe\/or/\buttontoadjustthevaluewhenanitemis
selected.
7.3. Option
IntheOptionmenu,youcanadjusttheOSDlanguagesetting,the
reset,theOSDposition,andyoucanadjusttheOSDtransparency
andOSDtimeout.Pressthe\/or/\buttontoadjustthevaluewhen
anitemisselected.

IntheScreenmenucanadjusttheH‐position,V‐position,clock,
phaseandyoucanautomaticallyadjustthepositionoftheimage
withintheunit.Pressthe\/or/\buttontoadjustthevaluewhenan
itemisselected.

ThePowerbuttondoesnotrespond:
‐Checkthepowercordtoensurethatitissecurelypluggedintothe
monitorbaseandalsointotheelectricaloutlet.
‐EnsurethatthereiselectricalpowercomingfromtheACoutlet.
Useanotherdevicetocheckthepower.
‐UnplugthepowercordofthemonitorfromtheACoutlet,waita
fewminutesthenplugthepowercordintotheACoutletagain.This
willresetthemonitorandpowersupply.
Noimageonthescreen:
‐Ensurethatthe(HDMI,DB‐15,CVBS)signalcableisproperly
connectedtothedisplaycard/computer.
‐Checkthe(HDMI,DB‐15,CVBS)signalcableconnectoronboth
endsforbentorpushed‐inpins.
‐Thedisplaycardshouldbeproperlyseatedinitscardslot.
‐Ensurethatthecomputer'spowerswitchisON.
‐Ensurethatthemonitor'spowerswitchisON.
‐UnplugthepowercordofthemonitorfromtheACoutlet,waita
fewminutesthenplugthepowercordintotheACoutletagain.This
willresetthemonitorandpowersupply.
ThePowerLEDisred(withnoimageonthescreen):
‐Checkthe(HDMI,DB‐15,CVBS)signalcabletoensurethatitis
properlyattachedtothegraphicsdisplaycard.
‐Checkthe(HDMI,DB‐15,CVBS)signalcableonbothendsforbent
orpushed‐inpins.

‐Makesurethecomputerisnotinapower‐savingmode(movethe
mouseorpressakeyonthekeyboard).
Nosoundcomingfromtheaudiospeakers:
‐Theaudiocableshouldbeconnectedtotheline‐outontheaudio
cardandtheline‐inonthemonitor.Ensurethattheaudiocableis
properlyconnected.
‐Inspecttheaudiocableforanyapparentdamage.Double‐checkby
switchingtoanotheraudiocabletoseeiftheaudioworks.
