EN FUNCIONAMIENTO
Medidas de seguridad para su uso
Antes de utilizar el aparato asegúrese de que el voltaje utilizado se corresponde con el
mostrado en la etiqueta del aparato. Conecte siempre el enchufe a una fuente de sumi-
nistro apropiada.
Para prevenir riesgos eléctricos, no sumerja el cable, el enchufe o el aparato en agua u
otro líquido. Consulte detenidamente las instrucciones para la limpieza.
No utilice accesorios no autorizados. Esto anulará la garantía y puede provocar acci-
dentes.
No deje que el cable cuelgue del borde de una mesa o estantería. Aléjelo de supercies
calientes. No permita que entre en contacto con objetos cortantes o contundentes. No
lo ponga en funcionamiento si el cable o el enchufe están dañados o si observa que el
aparato no funciona correctamente.
No deje el aparato en funcionamiento sin vigilancia. Apague siempre el aparato o des-
enchúfelo (tirando del enchufe, no del cable). Para desconectar, sujete el enchufe y
retírelo de la toma de corriente. No desconecte nunca tirando del cable.
En caso de cualquier reparación, sustitución de cable o ajuste, por favor consulte a un
técnico cualicado, o lleve el aparato al Servicio Técnico Ocial.
PRECAUCIÓN: Para la seguridad de sus niños no deje material de embalaje (bolsas de
plástico, cartón, polietileno etc.) a su alcance.

Supervise siempre el aparato cuando sea utilizado cerca de niños. Nunca deje el apara-
to en funcionamiento sin vigilancia.
Utilice el aparato sólo para el uso previsto.
El aparato no está destinado a ser operado por medio de un temporizador externo o un
sistema separado de control remoto.
Nunca utilice un tenedor ni otro objeto alado para limpiar el aparato, ya que podría
causar daños graves o provocar un accidente.
No sumerja el aparato en agua ni ningún otro líquido. No manipule el aparato con las
manos mojadas.
Antes de limpiar el aparato compruebe que está desconectado de la red eléctrica.
En caso de necesitar una copia del manual de instrucciones, póngase en contacto con
el Servicio Técnico Ocial.
No use el aparato de forma incorrecta. Podría producir lesiones graves. En caso de pre-
sentar un mal uso por parte del cliente, el aparato quedaría fuera de garantía.
No lo use al aire libre.
Vacíe completamente el depósito de agua al nalizar el uso del aparato si la temperatu-
ra de la habitación es igual o inferior a 0°C.
Se recomienda vaciar siempre el agua del depósito para evitar la acumulación de restos
de cal que puedan dañar tanto el depósito como los conductos del aparato.
Se recomienda utilizar agua destilada o desmineralizada. El agua corriente puede pro-
vocar acumulación de minerales que bloqueen los oricios de salida del aparato.
Presionando el botón de golpe de vapor se libera vapor caliente que alcanza una larga
distancia. Mantenga una distancia de seguridad al utilizarlo para evitar quemaduras
accidentales.
No utilice el aparato en entornos húmedos o mojados, como por ejemplo un cuarto de
baño.
No deje el aparato encendido sin vigilancia.
El depósito de agua debe llenarse con el aparato apagado y desconectado de la red
eléctrica.
No permita que el cable de corriente entre en contacto con la suela de la plancha.

No utilice la plancha sobre prendas muy secas.
No oriente la plancha en dirección a las personas cuando aún esté caliente.
No llene el depósito de agua en exceso. No añada tintes ni productos similares al depó-
sito de agua ni al calderín.
PRECAUCIÓN: Nunca abra la válvula antical si el calderín está en uso. Desconecte el
aparato y espere a que se enfríe por completo para abrir la válvula.
Coloque el aparato siempre en posición horizontal y sobre una supercie plana y esta-
ble.
No utilice el aparato sobre cremalleras, broches, remaches, anillas u otros elementos
metálicos similares. El roce con estas piezas podría arañar la suela del aparato y afec-
tar a su funcionamiento correcto.
ADVERTENCIA: En caso de uso inadecuado, existe riesgo de posibles lesiones y la pér-
dida de garantía del aparato.
Se debe supervisar a los niños para asegurarse de que no juegan con este aparato.
Mantenga el aparato y el cable fuera del alcance de los niños menores de 8 años.

Funcionamiento
Abra la tapa del depósito de agua.
Llene el depósito de agua sin rebasar la marca de nivel máximo. Si la dureza del agua de
su área es muy alta se recomienda utilizar agua destilada o desmineralizada.
Conecte el enchufe del aparato a la toma eléctrica.
Presione el botón de encendido. El indicador de encendido se iluminará para noticar
que la plancha está activada, pero solo en seco.
Presione el botón de encendido del calderín. El indicador de encendido del calderín se

iluminará para noticar que el calderín está en funcionamiento. La plancha puede libe-
rar vapor.
Cuando el calderín alcanza una determinada temperatura, la bomba eléctrica llenará el
calderín de agua.
Ajuste la temperatura utilizando el botón giratorio de control de termostato. Las inscrip-
ciones en este botón le ayudarán a seleccionar la temperatura adecuada en función del
tipo de prenda que vaya a planchar.
Transcurridos 90 segundos aproximadamente, el indicador de calor se apagará. Esto
signica que la suela ha alcanzado la temperatura requerida pero sin vapor.
Transcurridos 3 minutos aproximadamente, el indicador de vapor listo desaparecerá.
Esto signica que la presión del calderín ha alcanzado la temperadura requerida y la
plancha puede liberar vapor.
Si quiere desactivar el modo vapor, presione de nuevo el botón de encendido / apagado
del calderín. El indicador de encendido del calderín se apagará.
Planchado a vapor
Cuando use la plancha por primera vez, planche primero sobre un tejido plano.
Presionando el botón de vapor activará la salida de vapor.
Este aparato puede generar vapor en posición vertical y por tanto puede usarse para
planchar con la ayuda de un golpe de vapor.
Si oye un sonido fuerte, signica que no hay agua en el depósito. Presione el botón de
encendido / apagado del calderín para apagarlo y desenchufe el aparato. Llene el depó-
sito de agua sin sobrepasar la marca de nivel máximo. Presione de nuevo el botón de
encendido / apagado del calderín para continuar con el planchado.
PRECAUCIÓN: Nunca intente abrir la válvula antical mientras el calderín está encendi-
do.
Planchado en seco
Conecte el aparato a la toma de corriente eléctrica.
Presione el botón de encendido / apagado del calderín.
Seleccione la temperatura deseada girando el control de termostato.
Cuando el indicador de plancha lista se apague, la temperatura deseada ha sido alcan-
zada.

Limpieza y mantenimiento
Sugerencias
El aparato permanece caliente después de su uso. Permita que el aparato se enfríe por
completo antes de manipularlo para limpiarlo o almacenarlo.
El aparato debe estar desconectado de la red eléctrica antes de limpiarlo o manipularlo.
No sumerja nunca el aparato en agua ni ningún otro líquido. No lo coloque bajo una
corriente de agua. No introduzca el aparato en el lavavajillas.
No utilice detergentes ni productos agresivos. No emplee cepillos ni utensilios metáli-
cos o puntiagudos para la limpieza.
Cuando nalice el planchado, coloque la plancha en posición vertical y asegúrese de
que no quedan restos de agua en la suela que puedan acumularse.
Libere el vapor residual en el calderín después de cada uso. Desconecte el aparato de
la toma de corriente eléctrica. Una vez el aparato se haya enfriado por completo, gire
la válvula antical en el sentido de las agujas del reloj. Vierta agua en el calderín y gire el
cepilo de limpieza para limpiar el calderín, agite suavemente el aparato y vierta el agua
fuera. Repita esta operación 2-3 veces. Una vez nalizada, inserte de nuevo la válvula
antical.
No es necesario vaciar el depósito de agua después del planchado. No obstante, es
aconsejable realizar esta acción para evitar que se acumulen minerales en el depósito,
conductos y oricios del aparato que podrían afectar a su funcionamiento correcto.
Mantenga siempre la suela limpia.
Clasique las prendas de acuerdo a la temperatura de planchado adecuada. Comience
planchado las prendas que requieran una temperatura menor.
Algunas telas como el terciopelo o la lana, y accesorios como guantes, bolsos, etc.
mantendrán un aspecto como nuevo presionando el botón de vapor y planchado.
Las marcas sobre alfombras de los muebles pueden ser eliminadas vaporizándolas y
cepillándolas suavemente. Si la alfombra está fabricada con materiales sintéticos, es-
coja una temperatura baja para el planchado.
Es necesario producir una gran cantidad de vapor continuo para que las prendas que-
den totalmente lisas.
Para eliminar pliegues se recomienda humedecer la zona afectada con vapor en primer
lugar, y proceder al planchado en seco a continuación.

Para obtener resultados profesionales, las prendas deben humedecerse con vapor pri-
mero y plancharse en seco a continuación:
1. Coloque la plancha a una distancia de 20cm sobre la tela y presione el botón de vapor.
Pase la plancha sobre el tejido en movimientos circulares para que el vapor humedez-
ca la tela. Los pliegues ligeros requieren unos segundos de vapor. En prendas de telas
pesadas o con pliegues muy marcados es necesario aplicar vapor durante más tiempo.
2. Compruebe que el control de termostato está en la posición correcta para el tipo de
prenda escogida. Libere el botón de vapor y planche en seco la prenda. La suela de la
plancha evitará que la prenda se deteriore.

Normas sobre los residuos de los aparatos eléctricos según la DIRECTIVA
RAEE 2002/96/EC. Este símbolo signica que el presente producto no puede
ser tratado como residuos domésticos normales, sino que debe ser devuel-
to al distribuidor, o entregarse en el correspondiente punto de recogida de
equipos eléctricos o electrónicos, o llevarlo a un punto de recogida habilitado
a tal n con objeto de que sus componentes sean reciclados y no se mezclen con la
basura doméstica.
También puede avisar al servicio de recogida de su municipio para que sea recogido y
tratado de la forma correspondiente, siguiendo las instrucciones de protección al me-

BEFORE PUTTING THE APPLIANCE
INTO OPERATION
General safety instructions
Before using the appliance ensure that the main voltage corresponds to the voltage
displayed on the rating label. Always plug the appliance into a suitable electrical outlet.
In order to avoid electrical shock risk, please do not inmerse the power cord nor the
appliance into water or any other kind of liquid. Check the cleaning instructions.
Do not use unauthorized accessories. This will result in cancellation of the guarantee
and could cause accidents.
Do not keep the power cording hanging from the table or the shelve. Keep it away from
hot sources. Do not allow sharp or blunt objects to touch it. Do not operate the applian-
ce if the power cord or the plug are damaged, or if you notice unusual operation of the
appliance.
Do not leave the appliance operating without supervision. Always switch off the applian-
ce and unplug it. Pull the plug, not the power cord.
If any repair is needed, or if the power cord must be replaced, please ask a aqualied
professional or contact the Ofcial Technical Support.
CAUTION: To ensure children’s safety, keep away packaging material such as plastic
bags, carton boxes, etc.

Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instruc-
tions.
This appliance is not supposed to be operated by any external timer or remote control
system.
Never use forks or sharp objects to clean the appliance. This could cause several dama-
ge and may cause an accident.
Do not immerse the appliance in water. Do not handle the appliance with wet hands.
Before cleaning the appliance, check that it is unplugged.

Empty the water tank completely when nished using the apliance if the room tempera-
ture is equal or below 0°C.
It is always recommended to empty the water tank to protect the appliance against ac-
cumulated lime deposits that could damage the tank or ducts.
It is recommended to use distilled or demineralized water. Tap water may cause mine-
ral deposits to be accumulated inside the appliance and therefore blocking its output
holes.
Long-range hot steam is released when pressing the steam burst button. Keep a safe
distance when using it to avoid accidental burns.
Do not use the appliance in wet or humid environments such as bathrooms.
Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is operating.
The water tank must be lled only if the appliance is shut off and unplugged.
Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with the soleplate.
Do not iron excessively dry fabrics.
Do not aim the appliance towards people when it is still hot.

Do not overll the water tank. Do not add dyes or similar products to the water tank or
the boiler.
CAUTION: Never attempt to open the anti-calc valve while the boiler is under pressure.
Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down completely before opening the valve.
Always place the appliance in horizontal position and on a at stable surface.
Do not use the appliance on zippers, broochs, rivets, rings or any other similar metallic
elements. Friction with these elements may scratch the soleplate surface and proper
functioning of the appliance may be affected.

Operation
Open the water tank’s ller cap.
Fill the water deposit without exceeding the max. level mark. If tap water in your area
is excessively hard, it is recommended to use distilled or demineralized water instead.
Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
Press the on / off switch. The power on light indicator will come on to indicate that the
iron is ready for dry use.
Press the on / off boilwer switch. The boiler on light indicator will come on to indicate

that the boiler is operating. The iron is ready to release steam.
When the boiler reaches the required temperature, the electrical pump will ll the boiler
with water from the tank.
Adjust the temperature by turning the thermostat knob to the required position. The
icons on this knob will help you choose the most adecquate temperature according to
the type of clothes to be ironed.
After 90 seconds approximately, the heating indicator will turn off. This means that the
soleplate has reached the desired temperature but with no steam.
After 3 minutes approximately, the steam ready indicator will turn off. This means that
the boiler pressure has reached the desired level and the iron is ready to release steam.
If you wish to turn off the steam mode, press the on / off boiler switch. The on / off boi-
ler switch light indicator will turn off.
Steam ironing
When using the appliance for the rst time, iron at clothes.
Pressing the steam button will release steam from the soleplate.
This appliance can generate steam in vertical position and therefore can be used to iron
with a steam jet.
If you hear a loud noise, it means there is no water in the tank. Press the on / off boiler
switch to turn if off and unplug the appliance. Fill the water tank without exceeding the
max. level mark. Press the on / off boiler switch again to carry on with the ironing.
CAUTION: Never attempt to open the anti-calc valve while the boilwer is on. Unplug the
appliance and allow it to cool down completely before opening the valve.
Dry ironing
Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
Press the on / off boiler switch.
Adjust the temperature by turning the thermostat knob to the desired position.
When the iron heating indicator goes off, it indicates that the desired temperature has
been reached.

Cleaning and maintenance
Recommendations
The appliance still remains hot after use. Allow it to cool down completely before hand-
ling it for cleaning or storage.
The appliance must be unplugged from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
Never immerse the appliance into water or any other liquid. Do not put it under a water
stream. Do not put the appliance into the dishwasher.
Do not use aggressive cleaner products. Do not use metallic brushes or sharp tools to
clean the appliance.
When the ironing is nished, place the iron in vertical position and ensure that the sole-
plate has no water stains that could accumulate and block the steam holes.
Release the residual steam in the boiler after each use. Unplug the appliance from the
electrical outlet. Once the appliance has cooled down completely, turn the anti-calc val-
ve clockwise. Pour water into the boiler and turn the cleaning brush to clean the boiler.
Waggle the appliance softly and pour ot the water. Repeat this operation 2-3 times.
Once you are nished, insert the anti-calc valve back.
It is not mandatory to void the water tank after each ironing. However, it is recommen-
ded to carry our this action in order to avoid minerals to accumulate in the water depo-
sit, ducts and holes of the appliance that may affect its proper functioning.
Keep the soleplate clean always.
Separate the clothes according to the required ironing temperature. Start ironing the
clothes that require lower ironing temperature.
Some fabrics such as satin or wool, and accesories such as gloves, handbags, etc. will
keep a like new look pressing the steam and iron button.
Marks left on carpets by furniture can be removed by steaming and then brushing softly.
If the carpet is made of synthetic fabrics, a lower temperature will be suitable for the
ironing.
A considerable amount of continous steam is required to be applied on clothes to make
them at.
To remove creases, it is recommended to moisten the affected zone with steam and
then proceed to dry ironing.

In order to get professional results, fabrics must be damped with steam and then dry-iro-
ned:
1. Place the iron at a 20cm distance from the fabric and press the steam button. Iron the
clothes in circular movements so the steam moistens the fabric. Light creases require
only a few seconds under the steam. On heavy fabrics or difcult creases the steam
should be apply for a longer time.
2. Check that the thermostat knob is set on the correct position for the clothes to be
ironed. Release the steam and dry iron the clothes. The iron’s soleplate will prevent the
fabrics from wearing.

Medidas de segurança para seu uso
Antes de usar o aparelho, verique se a voltagem usada corresponde àquela mostrada
na etiqueta do aparelho. Sempre conecte o plugue a uma fonte de suprimento apropria-

Para evitar riscos elétricos, não mergulhe o o, o plugue ou o eletrodoméstico na água
ou em outro líquido. Leia atentamente as instruções para a limpeza.
Não use acessórios não autorizados. Isso anulará a garantia e poderá causar acidentes.
Não deixe o cabo pendurado na borda de uma mesa ou prateleira. Afaste-o de superfí-
cies quentes. Não permita que entre em contato com objetos aados ou pontiagudos.
Não o opere se o cabo ou o plugue estiver danicado ou se você perceber que o aparel-
ho não está funcionando corretamente.
Não deixe o aparelho a funcionar sem supervisão. Desligue sempre o aparelho ou des-
ligue-o (puxando a cha, não o cabo). Para desconectar, segure o plugue e remova-o da
tomada. Nunca desconecte puxando o cabo.
