- Il modulo GPRS supporta solo il set standard di caratteri
utilizzati per gli SMS e non set di caratteri particolari.
- Nei luoghi dove è vietato l’uso del telefono cellulare
non è possibile installare il modulo GPRS.
- Il modulo GPRS può generare interferenze se installato
in prossimità di TV, radio o PC.
Il Modulo GPRS è un dispositivo che permette di
comandare la stufa a distanza tramite l’invio di semplici
messaggi SMS da un telefono cellulare GSM (no UMTS).

2.2 DATI TECNICI
3 INSTALLAZIONE
3.1 PRELIMINARI
Per poter permettere la ricezione dei messaggi di
comando inviati da un telefono cellulare abilitato, è
indispensabile provvedere alla configurazione di base
del modulo GPRS.
- Procurarsi una SIM con credito disponibile sufficiente
a coprire la necessità delle varie operazioni di comando
a distanza (ad esempio 10 €).
- Inserire la SIM in un telefono cellulare e seguendo
le istruzioni fornite dall’operatore e quelle del telefono
stesso, disabilitare la richiesta di inserimento PIN
all’accensione.
- Rimuovere la SIM dal telefono cellulare e, con modulo
non alimentato, inserirla nell’apposito alloggiamento (1)
- Premendo il tasto (2) per aprire il cassetto.

- Dopo aver inserito la SIM, alimentare il modulo
connettendo il cavo seriale (1) fornito in dotazione, al
modulo GPRS (2) da un lato, e alla presa seriale DB9
della stufa dall’altro.
- Inserire lo spinotto dell’alimentazione (3) nel
connettore 12 V.
- Collegare l’alimentatore ad una presa di corrente.
Le limitazioni nell’installazione del modulo GPRS
riguardano l’anno di produzione dei vari modelli.
Verificare con il vostro rivenditore di fiducia la possibilità
di installare il modulo GPRS nella vostra stufa.
Compreso nell’imballo, troverete una staffa a muro e
relative viti, per posizionare il vostro GPRS a parete.
- Si attiva il led (4) indicando che il modulo è alimentato.
- Dopo alcuni istanti si attivano i led RX-TX (5): un
lampeggio alternato tra i due è indice di corretta
comunicazione seriale. Un comportamento differente è
sintomo di comunicazione seriale mancante o difettosa.
Se il modulo è rimasto fermo un certo tempo, è possibile
che sia necessario attendere qualche minuto perché il
modulo stesso si attivi.
L’accensione del modulo GPRS è evidenziata dal led (4).

Per dialogare con la stufa, è necessaria come prima
operazione, l’impostazione obbligatoria di un numero
telefonico principale e di massimo 4 numeri secondari
opzionali.
Attraverso il numero principale si comanda la stufa
e si ricevono gli SMS di ritorno, attraverso i numeri
secondari si possono solo inviare i comandi ma non si
ricevono gli SMS di ritorno.
L’impostazione del numero/i si effettua tramite
l’invio del seguente messaggio (es.: +39 per l’Italia):
SETTELNUMBER [phone] dove il 1° emesso
corrisponde al numero di telefono del cellulare principale
e gli altri due sono i numeri dei cellulari secondari.
I numeri telefonici devono essere preceduti dal
prefisso internazionale (es.: +39 per l’Italia).
Per modificare i numeri impostati inoltrare l’SMS
con i nuovi numeri: i nuovi numeri andranno a
sovrascrivere quelli precedentemente impostati.
Il funzionamento della stufa a distanza avviene tramite
l’invio di messaggi SMS di comando prestabiliti al
numero telefonico della SIM inserita nel modulo GPRS.
All’invio di ogni messaggio c’è un messaggio di ritorno
che riporta il buon fine o meno dell’operazione.
Le diciture dei vari SMS possono essere digitate sia in
maiuscolo che in minuscolo.
In caso di segnalazione “Allarme”, verificare
direttamente sul prodotto il tipo di allarme (paragrafo
“STATO STUFA” del libretto istruzioni “USO E
MANUTENZIONE”).
La temperatura ambiente, la temperatura dell’acqua e
la temperatura fumi, sono espresse in °C.
Per il corretto funzionamento è obbligatorio
inserire uno spazio dopo la dicitura
SETTELNUMBER e tra i vari numeri telefonici.
La tempistica di consegna degli SMS dipende
dal carico della rete GSM.
Lingua impostata: ITALIANO (impostazioni di fabbrica).
Solo dopo aver inserito il numero di telefono
principale sarà possibile impostare la lingua
desiderata.
Impostare il tipo di stufa (aria o thermo) tramite le
diciture SETMODE AIR oppure SETMODE H2O
Mediante l’utilizzo di un normale telefono cellulare GSM,
inviando opportuni messaggi SMS, è principalmente
possibile effettuare le seguenti funzioni remote:
- Impostazione numeri di telefono
- Accensione della stufa
- Modifica dei set di temperatura aria/acqua
- Modifica potenza calorica
- Lettura dello stato della stufa
- Spegnimento della stufa
“Errore. Stufa non spenta. Riprova”
Se viene inviato un sms “OFF” e si riceve un Messaggio
di errore, significa che l’apparecchio si trova in fase di
accensione.
Per motivi di sicurezza, prima di spegnersi l’apparecchio
dovrà completare il ciclo di accensione in esecuzione
(20 minuti circa).
Trascorso il tempo necessario, verificare inviando un
sms “STATO”:
- se si riceve “IN SPEGNIMENTO” o “OFF” il comando è
stato recepito / eseguito
- se si riceve “IN FUNZIONE” allora il precedente
comando non è stato recepito ed è necessario inviare
nuovamente un sms “OFF”

5 PRINCIPALI ANOMALIE

2.1 FEATURES

with installation, use or any repairs.

The GPRS is a remote control device for the stove,
which works by the sending of simple SMS messages
from a GSM mobile phone (no UMTS).

2.2 TECHNICAL DATA
3 INSTALLATION
3.1 PRELIMINARY STEPS
To receive the command messages sent by an enabled
mobile phone, the basic configuration of the GPRS
module must be carried out.
- Purchase a SIM card with sufficient available credit to
cover the needs of the various remote control operations
(e.g. 10 €).
- Insert the SIM card into a mobile phone and, following
the instructions provided by the operator and by the
telephone manufacturer, deactivate the prompt to enter
the PIN at startup.
- Remove the SIM card from the phone, ensure the
module is not powered and insert the card into the
relative holder (1) in the module.
- Press the key (2) to open the casing.

Having inserted the SIM card, power the module by
connecting the serial cable (1) provided in the kit to the
GPRS module at one end and to the DB9 port of the
stove at the other end.
- Connect the power source to the connection (3) on
GPRS.
- Connect the power source to the power supply.
Other limitations to installation concern the year of
manufacture of the various models. Check with your
local dealer if the GPRS kit can be installed in your stove.
Included in the package, you will find a wall bracket and
screws to position your GPRS on the wall.
The LED (4) lights up showing that the module is
powered.
After a few moments the TX-RX LEDs (5) are activated.
Constant alternate blinking of the two indicates that the
serial communication is correct. Any other signal or lack

or faulty.
If the module is not activated for any length of time it may
be necessary to wait a few minutes for it to activate.
Activation is shown by the LED (4) lighting up.

To interact with the stove the first step must be to set
a main telephone number and at the most 4 optional
secondary numbers.
The stove is controlled through the main number which
receives alarm text messages, while the secondary
numbers can send commands but do not receive alarm
SMS messages.
The number/s is/are set by sending the following
message (e.g.: +39 for Italy): SETTELNUMBER
[phone] where the 1st number corresponds
to the telephone number of the main mobile phone and
the other two are the numbers of the secondary mobile
phones. The telephone numbers must include the
international country code.
To modify the numbers set, forward the SMS with the
new numbers: the new numbers will overwrite the
previously set numbers.
Operating the stove by remote control is done by
sending preset SMS command messages to the phone
number of the SIM card inserted in the GPRS module.
Every time a message is sent, there is a return message
to say if the operation has been successful or not.
The various SMS messages can be entered in upper
or lower case.
If it appear the SMS “Alarm” verify directly on the
stove the type of alarm. See the paragraph “STATE
STOVE” on the instruction booklet “USE AND
MAINTENANCE”).
The room temperature, the water temperature and the
smoke temperature are expressed in °C.
For correct operation you must insert a
space after the readout SETTELNUMBER and
between the various numbers.
SMS delivery times depend on the GSM
network load.
Language set: ITALIAN (default settings).
It’s possible to set up the wished language only
after have set up the main phone number.
Set the stove type (air or thermo) via the message
SETMODE AIR or SETMODE H2O.
Using a normal GSM mobile phone and sending
appropriate SMS messages, the following remote
functions can basically be activated:
- Setting the telephone numbers
- Lighting of the stove
- Changing the temperature settings
- Changing the heat output
- Reading the stove status
- Shutting down of the stove
4.1 AVAILABLE REMOTE FUNCTIONS
4 USE
“Error. Stove not off. Try again”
If you send an “OFF” SMS and you receive an error
message in reply, the appliance is performing start-up.
For safety reasons, before the appliance turns itself
off, it must complete the start-up cycle in progress
(approximately 20 minutes).
After this time, check the status of the appliance by
sending a “STATUS” SMS.
- if you receive a “TURNING OFF” or “OFF” reply, the
command has been received/performed
- if you receive an “OPERATING” reply, the previous
command has not been received and you must send
another “OFF” SMS

5 TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Cause Solution
All the led (6) flash
In these conditions, the
GPRS module is not able
to provide any functions.
The SIM card has not been inserted
correctly. Insert the SIM card correctly.
The 1st led of the scale
(6) is red.
The prompt for Pin insertion is still active.
Remove the SIM card from the
GPRS module and use it on a mobile
phone. Verify that the PIN code is not
required. Otherwise, disable the PIN
code request.
The SIM card has not been activated by
the operator.
Consult your service provider to
activate the SIM card.
The SIM card has expired (at least one
recharge a year is required). Use a functional SIM card.
No field in the mobile phone network. Conctat you operator.
Led RX-TX (5) off.
In normal conditions, they
