Step 1 1. Align the U-Joint Coupler:
Start by aligning the U-Joint coupler with the flush side of the
frame assembly.
2. Insert Bolts:
Insert the provided bolts through the corresponding holes in
the coupler and frame assembly.
3. Attach Locking Washer and Nut:
Once the bolts are through, slip a locking washer and then a nut
over each bolt.
4. Hand Tightening:
Proceed to hand tighten the nuts onto the washers ensuring
they are snug but not fully tightened.
5. Securing Bolts:
Utilize a wrench to hold the bolt head securely. With a second
wrench or a ratcheting socket, start to incrementally tighten the
nuts.
6. Cross Tightening Pattern:
Follow a cross pattern for tightening; move from one bolt
diagonally to the next. Continue this pattern, tightening each
bolt a little at a time to ensure even pressure and alignment.
7. Final Tightening:
Repeat the cross pattern tightening until all the bolts are
securely and evenly tightened, ensuring the frame assembly
remains properly aligned.
8. Inspection:
Once all bolts are tightened securely, inspect the frame
assembly to ensure there is no misalignment and that the U-
Joint coupler is properly attached to the frame assembly.

Step 5
1. Positioning the Frame:
Center the upper platform frame assembly
(part# F) over the upright U-Joint coupler of the
Lower Seat Frame Assembly, directing it toward
the motion unit.
2. Aligning and Inserting the U-Joint Coupler:
Gently lower the frame, allowing the inner lip of
the U-Joint coupler to insert through the center
opening. With the upper platform frame
assembly properly positioned, align the holes of
both components.
3. Inserting the Bolts:
Carefully slide bolts up through the bottom one
at a time, ensuring each is properly aligned.
Once each bolt is through, place a locking
washer on each one and hand tighten with one
of the included nuts.
4. Securing the Components:
Carefully hand tighten the nuts to align the
components. Once aligned, use a wrench to
secure each bolt head on the bottom. Utilize a
second wrench or ratcheting socket to
incrementally tighten the nuts up top. Perform
this incrementally, working in a cross pattern
from one bolt diagonally to the next, repeating
until all the bolts are securely tightened,
ensuring the alignment of components is
maintained throughout the process.

Step 6
Gently position the steel actuator rods on the motion
unit, aligning them towards the rear tabs on either side
of the rear seat frame assembly. Once aligned, insert
the threaded bolts through the rear tabs on each side.
After inserting the bolts, place a locking washer over
each one, then secure each with a nut. Make sure each
nut is firmly tightened to ensure a stable assembly.
