INTRODUCTION
The Guzauski-Swist GSXED18 Subwoofer System consists of the finest state-of- the-art
components currently available. Accurate full bandwidth frequency response and wide
dynamic capability are hallmarks of this system.
Intended to extend the frequency range and power of our current speaker systems GS3a,
GS3b and GS4a. The GSXED18 comes either passive or active.
COMPANY NAME PRONUNCIATION

6
SYSTEM COMPONENTS
The complete GDSXED18 Subwoofer System Studio Monitor System is comprised of the
components listed and shown below.
1) Low Frequency Driver Enclosure
2) optional one SpeakerPower Plater Amplifier Module including a DSP Processor Module

7
LOUDSPEAKER SET UP
The GSXED-18 are designed for a so-fit mounted system, but can be used standalone in
open space.
PLATE AMPLIFIER SET UP :
Inputs: 2 x RCA summing, XLR input
Switchable ON-Auto-OFF/12V trigger. Auto on with signal applied
12V trigger turn on. 3.5mm minijack input
Rotary controls:
Gain : Adjust the overall volume to Minus Infinity (mute) to 0dB
LF Adjust : Adjust the high pass frequency to 40 Hz Tone Shelf, +-12 dB, Boost / Cut,
Respectively.
Crossover : Adjust the crossover frequency Butterworth Low-Pass Filter, 60 Hz to 500 Hz.
Delay : Adjust the delay time when subwoofer reacts from 0 ms to 20 ms
Speaker Out :
The speaker out is design to run a second passive cabinet. So if you have the amp
connected to a 8ohm speaker and connect another 8 ohm speaker in a separate cabinet
using the speaker out, the amplifier load will have a 4 ohm load on the output which is post
procecessed. THE L R inputs are kind of weirdly named (not something I did) but
essentially if you plug into both signals L+R you will get the sum of both inputs.

8
SPECIFICATIONS :
Power Output: 1200W/4, 620W/8.
100VAC maximum output voltage,
38A maximum output current
AC Power Input: 100-240VAC 50/60Hz
CAUTION: KEEP AMPLIFIER MODULES TURNED OFF UNTIL ALL CONNECTIONS
ARE SECURED
