Responsible disposal of the packaging
The packaging of your appliance has been selected from environmentally
friendly materials and can usually be recycled. Please ensure these are
disposed of correctly.
Plastic wrapping can be a suffocation hazard for babies and young
children, please ensure all packaging materials are out of reach and are
safely disposed of. Please ensure they are offered for recycling rather
than throwing these materials away.
Responsible disposal of the appliance
All electrical and electronic products including batteries should be
disposed of separately from the municipal waste stream via designated
collection facilities appointed by the government or the local authorities.
Electrical and electronic appliances contain materials and substances
which, if handled or disposed of incorrectly, could be potentially
hazardous on the environment and human health.
For more detailed information about disposal of your old appliance,
please contact your local authorities, waste disposal service or the shop
where you purchased the product.
The plug must be rendered useless and the cable cut off directly behind
the appliance or the machine to prevent misuse.

Safety Information and Warnings
1. No naked flame sources, such as lit candles, should be placed on
the appliance.
2. Do not place the appliance in closed bookcases or racks without
proper ventilation.
3. Where the mains plug is used as the disconnect device, the
disconnect device shall remain readily operable.
4. Ventilation openings should not be obstructed or covered by items
such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
5. The appliance should not be exposed to dripping or splashing and
objects filled with liquids, such as vases, should not be placed on
the appliance.
6. Do not connect FM antenna to an outside antenna.
7. The appliance should not be exposed to direct sunlight, very high or
low temperatures, moisture, vibrations or placed in a dusty
environment.
8. Do not use abrasive, benzene, thinner or other solvents to clean the
surface of the appliance. To clean, wipe it with mild non-abrasive
detergent solution and a clean soft cloth.
9. Never attempt to insert wires, pins or other such objects into the
vents or opening of the appliance.
10. Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine,
fire or the like.
11. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order
to avoid a hazard.
12. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by person
responsible for their safety.
13. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
CAUTION Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced.
Replace only with the same or equivalent type of battery.

Operation Instructions
Power Connection
Plug the AC power cord into a household outlet AC source. This
appliance is equipped with a battery backup system, it requires a 3V
CR2032 flat lithium battery. Insert the battery in the battery compartment,
making certain that the positive and negative (+ and -) battery terminals
are attached to the corresponding terminals on the plate in the battery
compartment. If an AC power failure occurs, the clock automatically
switches to the battery power supply, the clock and timer memory will
continue running. When the AC power resumes, the clock switches back
to AC again.
Time Setting
In standby mode, press and hold the SET.MEM / M+ button (9), “24 Hr”
will blink. Press the Tune + (8) or Tune – (4) button to set the hour format
between 12 hour (12 Hr) format and 24 Hour (24 Hr) format.
Press the SET.MEM / M + button (9) and the hours will blink.
Press the Tune+ (8) or Tune – (4) to set the current hour.
Press the SET.MEM / M + (9) button again then the minute digits will
blink. Press the Tune + (8) or Tune – (4) to set the current minutes.
Once complete, press SET.MEM / M + (9) button once again to indicate
the current time is set.
Setting Alarm Time
1. To preview the alarm time. Press the ALARM button (2/3) once.
Alarm light and numbers will flash.
2. While the display is showing the alarm time and you hold the
ALARM button for 3 seconds and the hours will blink.
3. Press the Tune + (8) or Tune - (4) to set the alarm hour alarm hour.
Press alarm button to set.
4. Press the ALARM button again; the minute digits will blink. Press the
Tune + (8) or Tune –(4) to set the alarm minutes. Press the alarm
button to set.
5. Press the ALARM button then press Tune + (8) or Tune - (4) button to
change the sound mode (Buzzer, Radio) for the alarm.
6. Press Tune + (8) or Tune – (4) to change the volume. The alarm
volume will gradually increase. Then press the ALARM button when
done. 5

7. To delay the alarm, press SNOOZE. It will come on again in
approx. 9 minutes. You may repeat this cycle several times during
the alarm cycle. To stop the alarm, press ALARM button .
8. To stop the alarm from coming on the following day, hold the
ALARM button to turn it off. The alarm icon will disappear to
indicate the alarm is disarmed.
Listening to Radio
1. Press the ON/OFF button (10) to turn the radio on.
Press the ON/OFF button (10) again to switch between AM/FM
bands.
2. Use the Tune + (8) or Tune – (4) button to select the desired FM
station. If you press and hold the Tune +(8) or Tune –(4) button
for one second, the release, the radio on will automatically scan to
the next broadcasting station.
3. Press and hold the ON/OFF button (10) to turn the radio OFF.
Note : Ensure that the FM antenna is completely unrolled and extended
for best FM reception.
To set / recall the radio presets
1. Press the ON/OFF button (10) to turn the appliance ON.
2. Use the Tune +(8) or Tune –(4)button to select the desired FM station.
3. Press and hold the SET.MEM/ M + button (9); “P02” will blink in the
display.
4. Press the SET.MEM / M + button (9) again to set the preset.
5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 to set more presets.
6. The appliance can preset upto 10 stations for FM and 10 for AM.
7. When “P01-P10” is blinking, press the Tune+ (8) or Tune-(4) button
to select the preset number.
8. When recalling preset stations, press SET.MEM / M + button(9) to
select the preset number.

Sleep Operation
When listening to radio, press Snooze / Sleep button (1) to enter sleep
mode. You can just adjust the sleep timer from 90 mins to 10 mins by
pressing the Snooze / Sleep button (1). The appliance will automatically
turn off after the selected time.
Snooze Function
When the alarm rings, press Snooze button (1) to suspend the alarm &
to activate the snooze function, Alarm will stop and then will begin to
ring again 9 minutes later. Press SNOOZE key again and alarm will be
suspended for another 9 minutes before the alarm will ring again
and so on until the next alarm rings.
Note: The Snooze interval time is 9 minutes.
- To turn the Snooze function off, press once on AL.1 / AL.2 button
(2/3).
- Press and hold the AL.1 / AL.2 button (2/3). The alarm icon will
disappear to indicate the alarm is disabled.

Troubleshooting
Reset
If the system does not respond or exhibits erratic or intermittent
operation, you may have experienced an electrostatic discharge (ESD)
or a power surge that triggered the internal microcontroller to shut down
automatically. If this occurs, simply disconnect the AC power cord and
remove the system backup battery, wait for at least 3 minutes and then
setup the appliance again as if it is a brand new appliance.
