Important Safety Instructions
Store this instruction manual in a safe place, along with your warranty card, purchase
receipt and packaging box for future reference. Please pay particular attention to the
safety information.
- If the supply cord is damaged, please call the After Sales Support line in order
to avoid a hazard.
- Before turning the appliance on, make sure the electrical voltage and circuit
frequency correspond to those indicated on the appliance.
- The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- To reduce the risk of electrocution, never operate this product with wet hands,
submerge it under water or spill liquids into the product.
- Do not insert any objects (cutlery, utensils etc.) while the appliance is in operation.
- Improper installation may result in the risk of re, electric shock and/or injury
to persons.
- Do not operate the appliance outdoors.
- Do not operate the appliance in a damp area or in high humidity (such as in
a bathroom).
- Place the appliance on a at surface when operating to avoid overturning.
- When the appliance is not in use, switch it o and unplug it.
- Remove the power plug from the power point before cleaning, servicing,
maintenance or moving the appliance.
- The unit has no user-serviceable parts contained within. Do not attempt to repair,
disassemble or modify the appliance.

Operation of your Hand Mixer
Before using your hand mixer for the rst time, wash the beaters and dough hooks
in warm, soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
Before assembling the mixer, be sure the power cord is unplugged from the power
outlet and the speed selector is on the “0” position.
1. Put the food you want to mix into a suitable mixing bowl and place the bowl
in position.
2. Choose the proper attachments and insert them into the mixer unit: beaters
are for mixing egg whites, liquids or a light batter; dough hooks are for
kneading dough.
Note: The beaters are identical and t in either socket. However, the dough hooks are
not identical and can only be inserted into their specic socket. The dough hook
with the washer only ts into the big socket and the other hook only into the
small socket.
3. Ensure the speed control is set to“0”, then connect to the power supply.
4. Slide the speed control to your desired setting for the mixer to start (see page 7 for
our recommendations). There are ve settings. Depressing the TURBO button during
operation will increase the speed by 15%.
5. Do not use the mixer continuously for more than three minutes at a time and let it
rest for at least 30 minutes between two consecutive cycles. When kneading yeast
dough, we recommend you start kneading at a low speed and then increase the
speed progressively for best results.
Note: Turning the mixing bowl manually during operation may improve your mixing
results.
6. At the end of the mixing process, turn the speed control to the“0” position and
unplug the cord from the power outlet.
7. If necessary, scrape any excess food from the beaters/dough hooks with a rubber or
wooden spatula (not provided).
8. To remove the beaters/dough hooks from the mixer, hold them with one hand and
press the ejector button down rmly with the other hand.
CAUTION: Make sure the mixer is turned o and unplugged from the power outlet
before removing the beaters/dough hooks.

Important note
This appliance has been designed to operate at intervals. Do not use your hand mixer
continuously for more than three minutes. After that time, allow the motor of your
appliance to cool down.
Selecting the right mixing speed

1. Make sure the speed control is set to “0” and the mixer is unplugged from the
power outlet.
2. Holding the beaters/dough hooks in one hand, press the ejector button with the
other hand to remove the hooks for cleaning.
2. Clean the beaters/dough hooks with warm, soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly, or
wash them in a dishwasher.
3. Wipe splatters o the mixer and power cord with a damp cloth or sponge, add a little
washing up liquid on your sponge for dicult spots. Always dry the mixer thoroughly
afterwards.
