Vad är luftfuktighet?
Luftfuktighet är innehåll av vattenånga i luften.
Vad är relativ luftfuktighet?
Relativ luftfuktighet är andelen fukt eller vattenånga i luften i förhållande till den maximala möjliga nivån vid aktuell
temperatur uttryckt i procent.
Hur kan för låga fuktnivåer påverka oss?
Vid alltför torr luft minskar vätenivåerna i kroppen och många negativa symtom kan uppstå eller förvärras.
Vanliga symtom är:
•Nästäppa eller rinnande näsa
•Statisk elektricitet
•Trötthet, dåsighet och dålig koncentrationsförmåga
•Infektioner och sjukdomar i andningsvägarna, exempelvis astma.
•Problem med torr hy och eksem
Vilken är den önskade relativa luftfuktigheten?
I tropiska länder, som Singapore, är klimatet extremt varmt och fuktigt. Därför används luftkonditioneringssystem överallt.
Nackdelen är att luftkonditioneringen gör luften alltför torr. En bekväm inomhusmiljö med en relativ luftfuktighet på 60 %
till 70 % rekommenderas.

Varför används ultraljudteknik för luftfuktning?
Ultraljudteknik är en extremt eektiv och ekonomisk metod att behålla och ändra den relativa fuktigheten i
omgivningsluften. Ultraljudteknik fungerar ljudlöst genom höga oscillationer och vibrationer som omvandlar vatten till
nfördelad vattendimma. Dimman sprids till den omgivande luften och tillsätter fukt.
Hur fungerar HACE luftfuktare MJS-900?
När vattnet hälls i vattentanken, rinner det till vattenbehållaren. Här kommer vattnet i kontakt med ultraljudsresonatorn,
nebulisatorn. Nebulisatorn vibrerar mycket snabbt, med upp till en miljon vibrationer per sekund. Denna snabba vibration får
vattnet att nfördelas i små droppar och passera genom dimmunstycket, så att fuktnivån i rummet eektivt höjs.
Auto automatläge
I automatläget anpassar luftfuktaren automatiskt dimnivån efter den omgivande fuktnivån tills önskad relativ fuktighet
nås. Den önskade fuktnivån är mellan 50 % och 65 % relativ luftfuktighet.

Sterilisering och luktborttagning med UV-fotokatalysator
Dimman levereras via äktutblåset. I MJS-900 används en kombination av UV LED och bio-/fotokatalysator för att hela tiden
sterilisera och ta bort dålig lukt från luften innan den rena dimman blåses ut.
Kombinationen bio-/fotokatalysator fungerar som en miljövänlig oxideringsagent vid aktivering med ultraviolett ljus. När
fotokatalysatorn fångar in de ultravioletta strålarna, bildas aktivt syre från vattnet eller från syret i luften. Det aktiva syret
bryter eektivt ner illaluktande partiklar och steriliserar dimman.
Dubbelt dimmunstycke
För att luftfuktaren ska kunna användas i större utrymmen nns två dimmunstycken som kan vridas för bästa möjliga eekt.
Dubbla luftfuktningsmetoder
MJS-900 kan använda två luftfuktningsmetoder. Värmeförångning (varm dimma) och luftfuktning med ultraljud (kall dimma).
I båda metoder används ultraljudsvibrationer. Vi rekommenderar användning av varm dimma om du vill ha snabbare
luftfuktning. Dimman som sprids via alternativet varm dimma har en temperatur på ca 35ºC medan den kalla dimman håller
rumstemperatur.
Inställning av fuktnivån
På MJS-900 kan du göra en förinställning och välja från 40 % till 75 % relativ luftfuktighet (i steg om 5 %) eller kontinuerligt
läge.
Luftfuktningstimer
MJS-900 kan programmeras för drift mellan 1 och 9 timmar eller kontinuerlig drift. Ställ in tiden i steg om 1 timme för varje
tryck på TIMER-knappen.
Hygrostat för förinställd fuktnivå
MJS-900 levereras med en inbyggd hygrostat som fungerar som en automatisk luftfuktighetssensor och därmed blir det
lättare att hålla kvar lagom relativ luftfuktighet.
När den förinställda eller programmerade relativa fuktigheten har nåtts, pausar luftfuktningsprocessen automatiskt.
Luftfuktningsprocessen startar igen om den relativa fuktigheten hamnar under den förinställda nivån.
Programmerad fuktinställning
Kall
I detta läge håller luftfuktaren kvar den relativa fuktigheten på 55 % till 70 %. Det blir lättare att andas och förkylningssymtom
lindras.
Atopi
MJS-900 kan också vara till hjälp för personer som lider av atopi*, genom att hålla den relativa fuktigheten på mellan 50 %
och 62 % (regleras i steg om 2 %). Denna fuktnivå är också lämplig för spädbarn.
*En ärftlig benägenhet för vissa allergiska reaktioner, exempelvis pollenallergi och astma.

Sleep (nattläge)
I nattläget“Sleep” dämpas luftfuktaren och den relativa luftfuktigheten ställs in på 60 %. Luftfuktaren går kontinuerligt i 8
timmar i varmt läge (WARM) och stängs sedan av automatiskt
No Water (indikator för slut på vatten)
MJS-900 levereras med en inbyggd vattennivågivare som varnar om vattennivån blir för låg. Fem ljudsignaler hörs och
knappen ”NO WATER” blinkar kontinuerligt för att varna om tillståndet. På så vis påminns användaren om att fylla på
vattentanken.
Avmineraliseringslter
När vattnet går igenom avmineraliseringsltret omvandlas det på jonnivå och de upplösta mineralsalterna och andra
tillsatser tas bort och mjukar därmed upp vattnet. Dessa tillbehör bidrar till att minska avlagringar av mineraler i nebulisatorn
och ger bättre luftfuktning med ultraljud.
ANVÄNDA LUFTFUKTAREN
Kontrollera att stickkontakten inte är ansluten till vägguttaget vid installation, påfyllning av vatten,
underhåll och transport.
Anm.
Steg 1: Ta ut luftfuktaren ur kartongen. Kontrollera att det inte nns några föremål i vattentanken
eller vattenbehållaren.
Steg 2: Ta ut vattentanken från underdelen och fyll på rent ljummet eller kallt vatten från kranen.
ANM: Använd inte vatten som är varmare än 40ºC.
Steg 3: Sätt fast vattentankens lock och sätt tillbaka tanken på underdelen. När en fylld vattentank
sätts på underdelen är det normalt att det hörs ett porlande ljud. Detta uppstår när vattnet
rinner från vattentanken till vattenbehållaren. Vänta en stund tills vattenbehållaren är full.
Steg 4: Välj en stabil yta att ställa luftfuktaren på. Anslut stickkontakten till nätuttaget och slå
på luftfuktaren. En signal ljuder. Tryck på strömbrytaren ”POWER” och luftfuktaren börjar gå
i automatläge. Ytterligare information nns under ”FUNKTIONER”. Tryck på strömbrytaren
”POWER”igen när du vill stänga av luftfuktaren.
Luftfuktaren kan stanna automatiskt i följande fall:
1. Den programmerade relativa luftfuktigheten är nådd.
2. För lite vatten.
3. Strömavbrott.
Rengöring och underhåll
Rekommenderat underhåll
Vi rekommenderar rengöring och underhåll av MJS-900 åtminstone en gång i veckan.
Innan du börjar:
- Använd inte rengöringsmedel, lösningsmedel eller frätande medel för att
rengöra luftfuktaren.
- Använd inte borstar eller trasor som slipar eller repar luftfuktaren.
- Lämna inte kvar vatten i tanken mer än en vecka.
Rengöra höljet
MJS-900 bör underhållas och rengöras regelbundet. Använd en fuktig trasa och torka av ytan så att
det inte samlas damm.
Rengöra vattentanken
Ta bort avlagringar och agor genom att fylla på vattentanken och skaka kraftigt. Häll ut vattnet och
torka av tankens insida noga med en mjuk trasa.
Rengöra vattenbehållaren
Häll ut vattnet ur vattenbehållaren (se bild). Låt inget vatten rinna in i äktutblåset. Ta bort avlagringar
och agor i vattenbehållaren med en fuktig trasa.
Rengöra nebulisatorn
Rengör hela nebulisatorns yta med hjälp av medföljande borste eller en mjuk trasa.
VIKTIGT
1. Om nebulisatorn inte rengörs regelbundet blir luftfuktaren mindre eektiv och kan till
och med skadas.
2. Rengör inte nebulisatorn med lösningsmedel eller frätande medel.
3. Repa inte nebulisatorns yta.
Förvaring
Om du ställer undan luftfuktaren för förvaring måste du först tömma ut vattnet ordentligt och torka
av vattentanken och vattenbehållaren. Ställ undan på en torr, sval plats.

What is air humidity?
Air humidity is the water vapour content in the air.
What is relative humidity?
Relative humidity is the proportion of moisture or water vapour in the air in relation to the maximum possible level at
the current temperature, expressed as a percentage.
How can insucient humidity aect us?
When the air is too dry, hydrogen levels in the body decrease, and negative symptoms can occur or be aggravated.
Common symptoms are:
• Nasal congestion or runny nose
• Static electricity
• Tiredness, drowsiness and poor concentration
• Respiratory infections and diseases, such as asthma.
• Problems with dry complexion and eczema
What is ideal relative humidity?
In tropical countries such as Singapore, the climate is extremely hot and humid. This is why air-conditioning systems
are used everywhere. The disadvantage of air conditioning is that it makes the air much too dry. A comfortable indoor
environment with relative humidity of 60% to 70% is recommended.

Why use ultrasound technology to humidify the air?
Ultrasound technology is an extremely eective and economical method of maintaining or changing relative humidity
in the ambient air. Ultrasound technology functions silently through high oscillations and vibrations that convert the
water into a ne water mist. The mist is dispersed into the surrounding air, adding humidity.
How does the HACE MJS-900 humidier work?
When the water is kept in the water tank, it runs into the water container. Here, the water comes into contact with the
ultrasound resonator, or nebuliser. The nebuliser vibrates very fast, at up to one million vibrations per second. This rapid
vibration causes the water to disperse into tiny droplets and pass through the misting nozzle, eciently increasing the
level of humidity in the room.
Auto
In automatic mode, the humidier automatically adjusts the misting level according to the surrounding humidity
level until the desired relative humidity is reached. The desired humidity level is between 50% and 65% relative
humidity.

Sterilisation and odour elimination with UV photocatalysis
The mist is delivered via the fan vent. The MJS-900 uses a combination of UV LED and bio-/photocatalysis to constantly
sterilise and eliminate bad odours from the air before blowing out the clean mist.
The combination of bio-/photocatalysis acts as an eco-friendly oxidation agent when activated by ultraviolet light. When the
photocatalyst captures the ultraviolet rays, active oxygen is formed from the water or from the oxygen in the air. The active
oxygen eectively breaks down unpleasant-smelling particles and sterilises the mist.
Dual misting nozzle
So that the humidier can be used in large areas, there are two misting nozzles, which can be turned for the best eect
Dual humidifying methods
The MJS-900 can use two humidifying methods. Thermal evaporation (warm misting) and ultrasonic humidifying (cold
misting). Both methods use ultrasonic vibrations. For rapid humidifying, we recommend warm misting. The mist dispersed
via the warm misting option is at approximately 35ºC, while cold misting is at room temperature.
Setting the humidity level
The MJS-900 lets you create a pre-set, and you can choose from 40% to 75% relative humidity (in increments of 5%) or
continuous mode.
Humidier timer
The MJS-900 can be programmed to run for between 1 and 9 hours or for continuous operation. When setting the timer, each
press of the TIMER button advances the timer by 1 hour.

Hygrostat for pre-set humidity level
The MJS-900 is supplied with a built-in hygrostat that acts as an automatic humidity sensor, thus making it easier to maintain
just the right relative humidity. When the pre-set or programmed relative humidity has been reached, the humidier
process pauses automatically. The humidier process re-starts if relative humidity falls below the pre-set level.
Programmed humidity setting
Cold
In this mode, the humidier maintains relative humidity at 55% to 70%. This makes breathing easier and relieves the
symptoms of colds.
Atopy
The MJS-900 can also help people who suer from atopy* by maintaining relative humidity at between 50% and 62%
(adjuatable in increments of 2%). This level of humidity is also suitable for babies.
*An inherited tendency to certain allergic reactions, such as pollen allergy and asthma.
Adjustable misting level
You can adjust your humidier’s misting level by selecting low, medium or high
Sleep
In Sleep or night-time mode, the humidier cuts back, and relative humidity is set to 60%. The humidier runs continuously
for 8 hours in warm mode (WARM) and then shuts o automatically
No Water
The MJS-900 is supplied with a built-in water level sensor that warns when the water level is too low. Five audible signals
sound and the“NO WATER” indicator ashes continuously as a status warning. This is to remind the user to add water to the
tank.
De-mineralising lter
When the water runs through the de-mineralising lter, it is transformed at ionic level and the dissolved mineral salts and
other additives are removed, leaving softened water. These accessories help reduce mineral deposits in the nebuliser and
enhance ultrasonic humidifying.
USING THE HUMIDIFIER
Check that the plug is not connected to the wall socket during installation, relling with water,
maintenance or transportation.
Note:
Step 1: Remove the humidier from the box. Check that there is nothing in the water tank and
water container.
Step 2: Remove the water tank from the base and add clean lukewarm or cold water from the tap.
NOTE: Do not use water hotter than 40ºC.

Step 3: Place the lid rmly on the water tank and put the tank back on the base. It is normal to hear
a rippling sound when a full water tank is put on the base. This occurs when the water runs
from the water tank into the water container. Wait a while until the water container is full.
Step 4: Choose a stable surface for the humidier to stand on. Connect the plug to the mains and
switch on the humidier. There is an audible signal. Press the“POWER”button and the
humidier will start in automatic mode. Further information can be found under
“FUNCTIONS”. Press the“POWER” button again when you want to switch the humidier o.
The humidier may stop automatically in the following instances:
1. The programmed relative humidity has been reached.
2. Insucient water.
3. Power outage.

We recommend cleaning and maintenance of the MJS-900 at least once a week.
Before you start:
- Do not use cleaning agents, solvents or abrasives to clean the humidier.
- Do not use brushes or rags that would scrape or scratch the humidier.
- Do not leave water in the tank for more than one week.
Cleaning the cover
The MJS-900 should be regularly maintained and cleaned. Use a damp cloth and dry the surface so
that it will not collect dust.
Cleaning the water tank
Remove deposits and akes by lling the water tank and shaking it vigorously. Tip the water out and
dry the inside of the tank carefully with a soft cloth.
Cleaning the water container
Tip the water out of the water container (see photo). Do not allow any water to run into the fan vent.
Remove deposits and akes from the water container with a damp cloth.
Cleaning the nebuliser
Clean the entire surface of the nebuliser using the supplied brush or a soft cloth
IMPORTANT
1. If the nebuliser is not cleaned regularly, the humidier will become less ecient and could even
become damaged.
2. Do not clean the nebuliser with solvent or abrasives.
3. Do not scratch the surface of the nebuliser.
Storage
If you put the humidier away in storage, you must rst empty it completely of water and dry the
water tank and water container. Store in a cool, dry place.

Qu’est-ce que l’humidité de l’air ?
L’humidité de l’air correspond à sa teneur en vapeur d’eau.
Qu’est-ce que l’humidité relative?
L’humidité relative (ou degré d’hygrométrie) s’exprime en pourcentage et correspond à la proportion d’humidité ou de
vapeur d’eau dans l’air par rapport à la proportion maximale possible à la température du moment.
Comment une humidité insusante peut nous aecter ?
Lorsque l’air est trop sec, les niveaux d’hydrogène diminuent dans le corps et des symptômes négatifs peuvent alors se
produire ou s’aggraver.
Les symptômes courants sont :
• Congestion nasale ou écoulement nasal
• Électricité statique
• Fatigue, somnolence et manque de concentration
• Infections et maladies respiratoires, comme par exemple l’asthme.
• Problèmes de peau sèche et d’eczéma
Quelle est le niveau idéal d’humidité relative ?
Dans les pays tropicaux tels que Singapour, le climat est très chaud et humide. C’est pourquoi les systèmes de climatisation
sont utilisés partout. L’inconvénient de la climatisation est qu’elle rend l’air beaucoup trop sec.
À l’intérieur, une humidité relative de 60 à 70 % est conseillée pour que l’espace soit confortable.

Pourquoi utiliser la technique des ultrasons pour humidier l’air ?
La technologie à ultrasons est extrêmement ecace et économique pour maintenir ou modier l’humidité relative de l’air
ambiant. La technologie à ultrasons fonctionne silencieusement à travers un haut niveau d’oscillations et de vibrations
pour convertir l’eau en une ne brume d’eau. Cette brume est ensuite dispersée dans l’air environnant, y ajoutant ainsi de
l’humidité.
Comment fonctionne l’humidicateur HACE MJS-900 ?
Lorsque l’eau est conservée dans le réservoir d’eau, elle s’écoule dans le bac à eau. Dans ce bac, l’eau entre en contact avec
le résonateur à ultrasons, ou nébuliseur. Ce nébuliseur vibre très rapidement, jusqu’à un million de vibrations par seconde.
Cette vibration rapide fait se disperser l’eau en minuscules gouttelettes au travers de la buse de nébulisation, augmentant
ainsi ecacement le niveau d’humidité dans la pièce.
Auto
En mode automatique, l’humidicateur ajuste automatiquement le niveau de nébulisation selon l’humidité environnante
jusqu’à ce que le niveau désiré l’humidité relative soit atteint. Le niveau d’humidité désiré se situe entre 50% et 65%
d’humidité relative.

Stérilisation et désodorisation par photocatalyse des rayons UV
La brume sort de la grille d’aération du ventilateur. Le MJS-900 utilise une combinaison de rayons UV LED UV et de bio- /
photocatalyse pour constamment stériliser l’air et en neutraliser les mauvaises odeurs avant de diuser la brume propre.
La combinaison de bio- /photocatalyse agit comme un agent d’oxydation écologique lorsqu’elle est activée par la lumière
ultraviolette. Lorsque le photocatalyseur capture les rayons ultraviolets, de l’oxygène actif se forme à partir de l’eau ou de
l’oxygène contenu dans l’air. L’oxygène actif détruit eectivement les particules d’odeurs désagréables et stérilise la brume.
Double buse de nébulisation
An que l’humidicateur puisse être utilisé dans de grands espaces, il est doté de deux buses de nébulisation qui peuvent
être tournées pour obtenir le meilleur eet.
Double méthode d’humidication
Le MJS-900 peut utiliser deux méthodes d’humidication. L’évaporation thermique (nébulisation chaude) et l’humidication
à ultrasons (nébulisation froide). Ces deux méthodes reposent sur les vibrations ultrasoniques. Nous conseillons d’utiliser la
nébulisation chaude pour une humidication rapide. La vapeur dispersée en choisissant le mode nébulisation chaude est à
environ 35°C, alors que la nébulisation froide s’eectue à température ambiante.
Réglage du niveau d’humidité
Le MJS-900 vous permet de créer un mode prédéni - vous pouvez alors choisir de 40 à 75 % d’humidité relative (par
incréments de 5 %) - ou continu.
Minuteur de l’humidicateur
Le MJS-900 peut être programmé pour fonctionner entre 1 et 9 heures ou pour en continu. Lors du réglage de la minuterie,
chaque fois que vous appuyez sur le bouton du minuteur, celui-ci avance d’1 heure.
Hygrostat de pré-réglage du niveau d’humidité
Le MJS-900 est fourni avec un hygrostat intégré qui sert de capteur automatique d’humidité et vous permet donc de
maintenir plus facilement le bon niveau d’humidité relative. Quand le niveau prédéni ou programmé d’humidité relative
a été atteint, le processus d’humidication s’interrompt automatiquement. Le processus d’humidication redémarre si
l’humidité relative tombe en dessous du niveau pré-établi.
Réglage programmé de l’humidité
Rhume
Ce mode permet de maintenir une humidité relative de 55 à 70 %. Il facilite la respiration et soulage les symptômes du rhume.
Atopie
Le MJS-900 peut également aider les personnes qui sourent d’atopie * en maintenant l’humidité relative entre 50 et 62%
(ajustable par incréments de 2%). Ce niveau d’humidité convient également aux nourrissons.
* Tendance héritée à sourir de certaines allergies, telles que les allergies au pollen et de l’asthme.
Niveau de nébulisation réglable
Vous pouvez régler le niveau de nébulisation de votre humidicateur en sélectionnant les niveaux : faible, moyen
ou élevé.

Mode veille
En mode veille ou mode nocturne, l’humidicateur réduit son fonctionnement et l’humidité relative est xée à 60 %.
L’humidicateur fonctionne en continu pendant 8 heures en mode chaud (WARM) puis s’éteint automatiquement
Mode sans eau
Le MJS-900 est livré avec un capteur de niveau d’eau qui vous avertit lorsque le niveau d’eau est trop bas. Cinq signaux
sonores se font alors entendre et le voyant « MANQUE D’EAU » clignote continuellement pour vous avertir. Ce système vise à
rappeler à l’utilisateur d’ajouter de l’eau dans le réservoir.
Filtre déminéralisant
Lorsque l’eau s’écoule à travers le ltre déminéralisant, elle est transformée au niveau ionique et les sels minéraux dissous
et autres additifs sont éliminés, laissant l’eau adoucie. Ces accessoires permettent de réduire les dépôts minéraux dans le
nébuliseur et d’améliorer humidication à ultrasons.
UTILISATION DE L’HUMIDIFICATEUR
Vérier que l’appareil ne soit pas branché sur le secteur pendant l’installation, le remplissage de l’eau,
l’entretien ou le transport.
NB :
Étape 1 : Retirer l’humidicateur de la boîte. Vérier qu’il n’y ait rien dans le réservoir d’eau ni dans
le bac à eau.
Étape 2 : Retirer le réservoir d’eau de son socle et y ajouter de l’eau du robinet propre, tiède
ou froide.
REMARQUE: Ne pas utiliser d’eau à plus de 40°C.
Étape 3: Placer fermement le couvercle sur le réservoir d’eau et remettre celui-ci sur son socle. Il est
normal d’entendre un bruit d’écoulement lorsqu’un réservoir d’eau plein est posé sur le
socle. Cela se produit lorsque l’eau s’écoule du réservoir d’eau au bac à eau. Patienter
jusqu’à ce que le bac à eau soit plein.
Étape 4: Choisir une surface stable sur laquelle poser l’humidicateur. Brancher la che
d’alimentation dans la prise secteur et allumer l’humidicateur. Un signal sonore se
fera alors entendre. Appuyer sur le bouton de mise sous tension (« POWER ») et
l’humidicateur démarrera en mode automatique. De plus amples informations sont
disponibles à la rubrique « FONCTIONNALITÉS ». Appuyer de nouveau sur le bouton de
mise sous tension (« POWER ») pour éteindre l’humidicateur.
L’humidicateur peut s’éteindre automatiquement dans les cas suivants :
1. L’humidité relative programmée a été atteinte.
2. Le niveau d’eau est insusant.
3. En cas de coupure de courant.
Nettoyage et entretien
Entretien conseillé
Nous recommandons le nettoyage et l’entretien du MJS-900 au moins une fois par semaine.
Avant de commencer:
- Ne pas utiliser d’agents nettoyants, de solvants ou de produits abrasifs pour
nettoyer l’humidicateur.
- Ne pas utiliser de brosses ou de chions qui racleraient ou rayeraient l’humidicateur. .
- Ne pas laisser d’eau dans le réservoir pendant plus d’une semaine.
Nettoyage du couvercle
Le MJS-900 doit être régulièrement entretenu et nettoyé. Utiliser un chion humide pour sécher la
surface an qu’il n’accumule pas de poussière.
Nettoyage du réservoir d’eau
Retirer les dépôts et les débris en remplissant le réservoir d’eau et en le secouant vigoureusement.
Vider l’eau et bien sécher l’intérieur du réservoir à l’aide d’un chion doux.
Nettoyage du bac à eau
Vider l’eau du bac (voir photo). Ne pas laisser d’eau couler dans la grille d’aération du ventilateur.
Retirer les dépôts et les ocons du bac à eau avec un chion humide.
Nettoyage du nébuliseur
Nettoyer la surface entière du nébuliseur avec la brosse fournie ou un chion doux.
IMPORTANT
1. Si le nébuliseur n’est pas nettoyé régulièrement, l’humidicateur perdra en ecacité et pourrait
même s’abîmer.
2. Ne pas nettoyer le nébuliseur avec des produits solvants ou abrasifs.
3. Ne pas rayer la surface du nébuliseur.
Stockage
Si l’humidicateur est entreposé, le bac et le réservoir d’eau doivent d’abord être complètement vidés
et séchés. À entreposer dans un endroit sec et frais.
