Thank you for choosing the hanit® Woven Privacy Screen.
In the following we provide you with important informatonthat need to absolutely be considered during installation. We
need to point out that in case of non-Compliance the guarantee and warranty obligation will expire.
General Notes:
• All proles can be worked with normal tools. Further information concerning the processing and the tool selection can
be found at www.hahnkunststoe.de
• The information provided in this manual, especially the indication of distance, is based on an installation temperature
of 20° C.
• This manual can be adjusted to technical modications and new ndings at any time and without prior notice.
• The installation parts are made of recycled plastic. They may vary in color and in surface structure which is no reason
for complaint. Material-related deviations of the dimensions (+/-3 %) may also be possible.
Description of the system
The Woven Privacy Screen is designed in modular-construction. The privacy screens are xed on the support posts. The
element is stabilized by two middle pillars. The support posts and the middle pillars are available in brown color. The system
is designed to a maximum height of 190 cm.

Step 1
The Woven Privacy Screen are sheeted with a clear width of 150 cm. Please
make sure that the sprue on the head of the posts is turned to the woven
texture or to the backside
The embedding depth in a frost-proven concrete foundation (WxL: 30x30 cm
or Ø35 cm) is minimum 50 cm. Concrete grade: C16/20
In case of a solid ground (paving) the use of a suitable post anchor is neces-
sary.
We recommend to drill the post anchor through the inner iron of the post.
The permitted bearing strength in the area of the foundations shall be 150
kN/m². This bearing strength needs to be checked prior to concreting the
foundations.
Step 2
The two middle pillars need to be pound centrally with a distance of about
50 cm. They stabilize the woven texture.
The middle pillar has to be pound in a way that the woven texture will lie on
the lower board.
For use on paved ground the pillars need to be cut accordingly.
Step 3
The woven texture then needs to be adjusted between the two posts. Please
bear in mind that the texture lies on the middle pillar.
Now the woven texture needs to be screwed together with the two posts
through the outer round prole at 3 points (Spax TX 6x80 mm). Prior to this,
the round proles need to be pre-drilled by driller Ø 4,5 mm and countersink
Ø 13 mm. The drillings should be placed at the top and the bottom each
in the second gap and once in the middle. Please make sure that you drill
slightly sloped through the square proles, as these contain a reinforce-
ment.
Step 4
Last step is to screw the woven texture together with the middle pillar from
the top with one screw each (Spax TX 6x50 mm).
Prior to this the frame needs to be pre-drilled by driller Ø 4,5 mm and coun-
tersink Ø 13 m.
