Instructions:
1. Place one half teaspoon (1/2 tsp) pure salt and filtered water into the
machine. (Do not use iodized salt).
2. Shake until salt is dissolved.
3. Measure pH of water using Halogen pH test strips. If pH is 7 or
higher, add 1 teaspoon of distilled white vinegar.
4. Place sprayer head on charged bottle base do not tighten nozzle to
prevent pressure) and press start button. (Buzzer will sound once.)
5. After device has stopped (6 min cycle) the buzzer will sound 3 times
indicating the process is complete.
6. Test the hypochlorous acid concentration with the Halogen test
strips to confirm desired concentration.
Now your Hypochlorous Acid is ready to use.
Store in dark, cool place in a glass or plastic container. Do not store
solution in the Halogen Spray. Use Halogen test strips before each use to
ensure the solution is ready for application.

How To Make Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl):

Above salt & vinegar measurements are for making a full bottle (300ml) of
disinfectant. Adjust as necessary.
Cleaning Instructions:
1. Never submerge base in water.
2. Rinse spray bottle with fresh water to extend service life.
3. If you notice a reduction in the bubbles during the generation
process, the electrodes may be dirty. To clean, pour distilled
white vinegar into the bottle so that the electrode is submerged.
Let soak for 1-2 hours, shake for 1-2 minutes with the lid on and
rinse.
Unit is NOT dishwasher safe
•While operating DO NOT place anything inside of the bottle.
•Keep solution out of reach of children.
•Do not ingest solution.
•Do not immerse device in water.
•Disconnect power immediately if aleak occurs.
•Rinse metal surfaces with water and wipe clean after specified
contact time.
•Hypochlorous Acid (HOCL) is color safe for most fabrics. Prior
to using test it in an inconspicuous area.Do not use on silk.
Caution:
Follow all instructions and safety precautions to ensure safe operation.
Additional Information
•Hypochlorous acid (HOCl)is a form of active chlorine at a pH
range between 4-6. Adding vinegar lowers the pH increasing
yield and potency of disinfectant solution.
•Filtered water is recommended to extend product life.
•Low concentration solution is safe for use on foods. Rinse food
thoroughly after application.

Note: If your electrolyzed solution is between a 4-7 pH
then Hypochlorous Acid has been produced. If it is
above that parameter, you will have Bleach.
