You will need the manual for the safety warnings and precautions, assembly instructions, operating
and maintenance procedures, parts list and diagram. Keep your receipt with this manual. Write
the receipt number on the inside of the front cover. Keep the manual and receipt in a safe and
dry place for future reference.
Safety Warnings and Precautions
WARNING: When using the movable bicycle rack, basic safety precautions should always
be followed to reduce the risk of personal injury and damage to equipment.
Read all instructions before using this movable bicycle rack!
1. Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas invite injuries.
2. Observe work area conditions. Do not use Cycletree in damp or wet locations. Do
not expose to rain. Keep work area well lighted. Situate the Cycletree in a “child safe”
location. Only use the Cycletree on a at, level, hard surface.
3. Keep children away. Children must never be allowed in the work area. Do not let them
handle the Cycletree . Do not let children remove or add cycles to the Cycle- tree. Do not
allow children to hang on or play with this product.
4. Store idle equipment. When not in use, Cycle Tree must be stored in a dry location to
inhibit rust. Always keep Cycle Tree out of reach of children.
5. Use the right tool for the job. There are certain applications for which this product was
designed. Do not modify this product and do not use this product for a purpose for which it
was not intended.
6. Use eye protection. Always wear ANSI approved impact safety goggles during assembly.
7. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times..
8. Maintain this movable bicycle rack with care. Keep Cycle Tree clean for better and
safer performance. The handles must be kept clean, dry, and free from oil and grease at
all times.
9. Stay alert. Watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating this piece
of equipment. Do not use this piece of equipment while tired or under the inuence of
drugs, alcohol or medication.
10. Check for damaged parts. Before using this movable bicycle rack, any part that appears
damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform

its intended function. Check for alignment and binding of moving parts; any broken parts or
mounting xtures; and any other condition that may affect proper operation. Any part that
is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced by a qualied technician.
11. Replacement parts and accessories. When servicing, use only identical replacement
parts. Use of any other parts will void the warranty. Only use accessories intended for use
with this movable bicycle rack. Approved accessories are available from Harbor Freight
Tools.
12. Do not assemble Cycle Tree if under the inuence of alcohol or drugs. Read warning
labels on prescriptions to determine if your judgment or reexes are impaired while taking
drugs. If there is any doubt, do not assemble the Cycle Tree .
13. Maintenance. For your safety, parts replacement or repair should be performed by a
qualied technician.
14. Maintain Balance. To obtain the best and safest performance of the Cycle Tree, be sure
that the multiple hanging bicycles are evenly distributed on the Cycle Tree.
Be careful to follow the operation instructions.
Warning: The warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual
cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood
by the operator that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into this
product, but must be supplied by the operator.
Unpacking
When unpacking, check to make sure all the parts listed on page 7 are included. If any parts are
missing or damaged, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number on the cover of this manual
as soon as possible.

1. Assemble the base rst by joining Base Brackets (1) to Base Channeled Supports (2)
forming a 30” x 30” square base. Next place the Casters (3) on the corners of the base
but only “nger tighten” the Self Locking Nut on the stem of the caster.
2. Place the Base Beam (7) on top of the base remembering to only “nger tighten” all of the
Self Locking Nuts.
3. Remove the Self Locking Nut of one of the Casters (3) and place one of the Struts (6) on
the Caster stem, and replace the nut. Repeat this same procedure with the other struts.

4. Slide the Base Post (9) on top of the Base Beam (7) and join the Struts on the holes
provided on the Base Post (9).
5. Insert Center Post (10) into the Base Post (9) and secure with two bolts on the holes
provided.
6. Slide the T-Bar (11) on top of the Base Post (9) using the two lower holes of the four holes
provided on the center post for height adjustment.
7. Now hang your longest bicycle on the T-Bar, it should clear the base, but if it does not, you
may go up one hole to adjust the height of the T-Bar.
Note: The lowest setting is desired to provide the most stability; this low setting also makes it
easier to hang the bicycles.
8. When assembly is complete, tighten all the self locking nuts.

Operation
Warning: Hanging and dismounting of bicycles should only be done by adults who are
physically capable of safely handling and lifting the weight of a bicycle.
Hanging Bicycles
Hang one bicycle by threading the front wheel spokes through the plasic covered T-Bar. The
next bicycle should be hung the same way, but facing the opposite
direction. (See photos to the right and on front cover) Continue
the same procedure making sure that all the bicycles hang
opposite to each other. It is recommended that two people assist
in hanging the bicycles to maintain the balance and stability of the
Cycle Tree.
Dismounting Bicycles
Before lifting the front wheel off the Plastic Covered T-Bar (11),
place a rm grip on the bicycle frame, just behind the front fork,
making sure that the bicycle does not sway the wrong way,
and carefully remove the bicycle from the Cycle Tree. Maintain
balance to obtain the best and safest performance of the
Cycle Tree. Be sure that multiple hanging bicycles are evenly
distributed.
Maintenance
Periodically check that the hardware is tight. Tighten if necessary.
