1. Einleitung
Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für einen häwa Luft-Luft-Wärmetauscher entschieden haben.
Diese Betriebsanleitung gibt Ihnen eine detaillierte Anleitung zur Handhabung und zum sicheren Umgang mit dem Luft-Luft-Wärmetauscher.
Sie richtet sich an ausgebildete Fachkräfte der Industrie, des Handwerks und elektrotechnisch unterwiesene Personen, um Geräte normgerecht
auszurüsten, aufzustellen und anzuschließen.
Die Anleitung wird laufend überprüft und gegebenenfalls aktualisiert (technische Änderungen vorbehalten) –

Bitte bewahren Sie diese Betriebsanleitung sorgfältig auf und sorgen Sie dafür, dass sie vom Bedienpersonal gelesen, verstanden und eingehalten wird.

2. Sicherheitsbestimmungen
2.1 Allgemeine Sicherheitsbestimmungen
Luft-Luft-Wärmetauscher mit bewegten Teilen bergen immer das Risiko von Verletzungen und erfordern ein großes Maß an Aufmerksamkeit und Sorgfalt.
Um Risiken zu vermeiden lesen Sie bitte diese Betriebsanleitung aufmerksam durch, bevor Sie diesen Luft-Luft-Wärmetauscher in Betrieb nehmen.
• Das Gerät darf nur in einwandfreiem Zustand betrieben werden.
• Veränderungen müssen sofort dem Vorgesetzten gemeldet werden.
• Es darf nur befugtes Personal am Gerät arbeiten.
• Sachwidriges Verwenden des Gerätes ist verboten.
• Aufbau, Inbetriebnahme, das Einrichten der Maschine und Reparaturen dürfen nur durch fachkundiges Personal erfolgen, welches auch diese
Betriebsanleitung gelesen und verstanden hat.
Luft-Luft-Wärmetauscher sind nicht für andere, als in dieser Betriebsanleitung und dem dazu gehörigen Technischen Datenblatt
beschriebenen Arbeiten geeignet und bestimmt. Im Falle von Missbrauch haften wir nicht für daraus resultierende Schäden.

2.2 Weitere Sicherheitsregeln beim Umgang mit dem Luft-Luft-Wärmetauscher
• Nicht in den laufenden Luft-Luft-Wärmetauscher greifen.
• Vor Öffnen des Deckels, Netzspannung ausschalten.
• Lüfternachlauf beachten!
• Deckel nur im Stillstand des Gerätes öffnen.
• Schutzeinrichtungen dürfen weder demontiert, noch außer Betrieb gesetzt werden.
Für auftretende Schäden, ausgelöst durch unsachgemäße Installation oder Nichtbefolgen der Sicherheitsvorschriften, kann die häwa nicht haftbar gemacht
werden.
3. Merkmale
Der Luft-Luft-Wärmetauscher entspricht dem Stand der Technik sowie den geltenden Sicherheitsbestimmungen zum Zeitpunkt des Inverkehrbringens im
Rahmen seiner bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung.
Der Luft-Luft-Wärmetauscher besitzt eine EG-Konformitätserklärung (siehe Anlage) und entspricht somit den Vorgaben der Maschinenrichtlinie 2006/42/EG.
3.1 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Diese Luft-Luft-Wärmetauscher dienen ausschließlich der Abfuhr von Wärme aus Schaltschränken zum Schutz temperaturempfindlicher Bauteile. Zur
sachgemäßen Verwendung des Wärmetauschers müssen alle Angaben und Hinweise der Betriebsanleitung und des dazu gehörigen Technischen
Datenblattes beachtet werden.
Bei nicht sachgemäßer Verwendung des Wärmetauschrs, kann es zu Schäden am Wärmetauscher, Sachwerten oder Umwelt- bzw. zu Verletzungen von
Personen kommen.
Der zu kühlende Schaltschrank muss mindestens IP54 entsprechen, nur so kann ein übermäßiger Anfall von Kondenswasser vermieden werden.
Sobald die Umgebungstemperatur niedriger ist als die Temperatur im Schrankinneren, ist es sinnvoll einen Luft-Luft-Wärmetauscher einzusetzen.
3.2 Vorhersehbarer Fehlgebrauch bzw. unsachgemäße Handhabung
Bei jeder Änderung an dem Gerät und bei vorhersehbarem Fehlgebrauch bzw. unsachgemäßer Handhabung erlischt die
EG-Konformitätserklärung des Herstellers und damit automatisch die Betriebserlaubnis.
Vorhersehbarer Fehlgebrauch bzw. unsachgemäße Handhabung sind:
• Betrieb bei nicht behobenen Fehlermeldungen/Störungen.
• Betrieb bei offener Schaltschranktüre.
• Betrieb im Freien (Optional mit Modifikation auch im Außenbereich möglich).
• Betrieb bei entfernten Schutzeinrichtungen.
• Betrieb im unbefestigten Zustand.
• Keine bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung.
3.3 Restgefahren
Konstruktiv können nicht alle Gefahren vermieden werden, ohne die bestimmungsgemäße Funktionalität einzuschränken.
Analysiert und bewertet wurden die Restgefahren beim Arbeiten mit dem Gerät mittels einer Risikobewertung.
Konstruktiv nicht vermeidbare Restgefahren können sein:
• Verletzungen durch Umfallen des Gerätes beim Auspacken oder Montieren.
• Quetschungen oder Schnittverletzungen von Gliedmaßen durch nicht Beachten der Betriebsanleitung.
Bestehende Restgefahren können vermieden werden durch:
• Aufmerksames Arbeiten.
• Beachten der Hinweise am Gerät.
• Beachten der Hinweise an der Verpackung.
• Beachten der Hinweise in dieser Anleitung.
• Umsetzen der allgemeinen Sicherheitsregeln.
4. Transport und Lagerung
Die Geräte dürfen in beliebiger Lage transportiert und gelagert werden. Etwaige Schäden sind unverzüglich zu melden und beim Spediteur
zu reklamieren. Bei Nichtbeachtung der Transport- und Montagehinweise geht der Gewährleistungsanspruch verloren.
Luft-Luft-Wärmetauscher dürfen in beliebiger Lage betrieben werden.
Beim Transport, bei der Lagerung sowie im Betrieb müssen folgende Umgebungsbedingungen vorherrschen:
• Trocken
• Staubgeschützt
• Korrosionsgeschützt

4.1 Übernahme und Kontrolle
Die Ware wird in Kartons verpackt angeliefert.
Prüfen Sie die Verpackung nach Anlieferung:
• Auf Transportschäden.
• Sonstige Auffälligkeiten.
Dokumentieren Sie festgestellte Schäden sofort (und lassen Sie sich diese vom Spediteur vor Ort schriftlich bestätigen!).
5. Auspacken und Überprüfen des Lieferumfangs
Entsorgen Sie Verpackungsmaterial umweltgerecht bzw. verwenden Sie es weiter.
• Prüfen Sie die Ware auf Schäden.
Dokumentieren Sie diese und leiten Sie die Informationen an Ihren lokalen Vertrieb weiter (siehe letzte Seite).
• Prüfen Sie die Ware auf Vollständigkeit.
5.1 Lieferumfang

• Dichtgummi (wenn nicht bereits aufgeschäumt)
6. Inbetriebnahme
Den Arbeitshinweisen dieser Anleitung ist Folge zu leisten, um das Risiko von Personen und Geräteschäden weitestgehend zu minimieren.
Der Wärmetauscher darf nur in einwandfreiem Zustand betrieben werden. Bei Funktionsstörungen muss das Gerät sofort außer Betrieb gesetzt werden.
6.1 Aufstellung
• Als Montagehilfe liegt jedem Luft-Luft-Wärmetauscher ein Lochbild bei.
• Dichtungsmaterial anbringen/montieren (je nach Ausführung lose beigelegt oder bereits am Gehäuse geschäumt).
• Benötigte Schrauben zur Befestigung am Gehäuse / Schrank sind als Zubehör im Lieferumfang enthalten und zu verwenden.
• Der Wärmetauscher muss in seiner Gebrauchslage montiert werden.
• Der Installationsort muss frei von aggressiver Atmosphäre und starker Verschmutzung sein.
• Die gültigen Vorschriften des Landes in dem der Wärmetauscher aufgestellt und in Betrieb genommen wird, sind zu beachten.
• Die Betriebs- und Sicherheitsvorschriften am Aufstellungsort sind zu beachten.
6.2 Anschließen
• Der Luft-Luft-Wärmetauscher darf erst nach dem Lesen der Bedienungsanleitung angeschlossen werden.
• Die Inbetriebnahme des Luft-Luft-Wärmetauschers darf nur durch Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden.
• Die Anschlussvorschriften des zuständigen Energieversorgers müssen eingehalten werden.
• Anschlussspannung und weitere Spezifikationen sind dem Typenschild oder beiliegendem technischen Datenblatt zu entnehmen.
• Der Luft-Luft-Wärmetauscher muss über eine allpolige Trennvorrichtung nach Überspannungskat. III (IEC61058-1) an das Netz angeschlossen
werden.
• Der elektrische Anschluss darf ausschließlich von einer Fachkraft unter Einhaltung der einschlägigen VDE-Bestimmungen und der jeweils örtlich
gültigen technischen Anschlussbedingungen vorgenommen werden.
• Netzanschluss gemäß beiligendem Schaltplan und Technischem Datenblatt vornehmen.
• Betriebs- und Störmeldungen sind am Display (wenn vorhanden) ersichtlich.
• Lufteintritt und Luftaustritt müssen mit einem Abstand von mindestens 0,8 m frei stehen.
• Lufteintritt und Luftaustritt im Schaltschrank sollten so angeordnet sein, dass möglichst alle Bauteile im Schaltschrank mit kühler Luft umflossen
werden.
• Alle Befestigungspunkte, die den Schaltschrank mit dem Wärmetauscher verbinden, müssen kontrolliert werden. Ferner müssen die Luftein- und
Austrittsöffnungen am Schaltschrank mindestens der jeweiligen Öffnung des Wärmetauschers entsprechen.
• Die Dichtheit des Schaltschranks muss gewährleistet sein (Dichtungen in Türen und Schließungen).

7. Technische Daten und Einsatzgrenzen
• Netzspannung und technische Angaben sind dem Typenschild zu entnehmen. Der Netzanschluss muss über eine Trennvorrichtung (ausgeschaltet
mindestens 3 mm Kontaktöffnung) verfügen.
8. Zubehör

9. Inspektion/Wartung/Instandsetzung
ACHTUNG:
• Arbeiten am Wärmetauscher und den elektrischen Einrichtungen dürfen nur von geeigneten Fachpersonal
- siehe 1. Einleitung - durchgeführt werden.
• Vor Instandhaltungsarbeiten muss der Luft-Luft-Wärmetauscher außer Betrieb genommen und stromlos geschaltet werden. Das
Berühren von drehenden Lüftern und stromführender Teile kann zu erheblichen oder lebensgefährlichen Verletzungen führen.
Vorbereitende Maßnahmen für die Inspektion und eventuelle Wartung:
• Führen Sie vor jedem Arbeitsbeginn eine Sichtkontrolle durch.
• Öffnen Sie die Schaltschranktür.
• Schalten Sie die Netzspannung und die Versorgungsspannung des Wärmetauschers ab.
• Nehmen Sie den Frontdeckel des Wärmetauschers ab.
Passen Sie die Intervalle für Inspektionen und Wartungen den Umgebungs- und Einsatzbedingungen oder den vom Betreiber festgelegten Zeitabständen an,
jedoch mindestens 2 x jährlich.
Führen Störungen zu Instandsetzungen am Gerät, nutzen Sie bitte die Informationen aus Punkt 11 Betriebsstörungen - Ursachen - Abhilfen.
Sind Instandsetzungsarbeiten vor Ort nicht durchführbar oder benötigen Sie weitere Informationen und Hilfe, füllen Sie bitte die
„Checkliste häwa Klimatisierung - Betriebsstörung“ aus (QR-Code) und senden Sie diese an häwa ([email protected]) oder Ihre
zuständige Vertriebsniederlassung (siehe letzte Seite).
Die Inspektion umfasst das Überprüfen der folgenden Bestandteile des Wärmetauschers sowie die Überprüfung der Einstellungen (optional).
Beachten Sie:
Bei festgestellten Abweichungen von Sollwerten (z. B. bei Temperatureinstellungen) sprechen Sie bitte die verantwortliche Person beim Betreiber an.
a) Vor Abschalten der Netzspannung und Versorgungsspannung:
• Lüfter aussen und innen laufen ohne mechanische Geräusche.
b) Nach Abschalten der Netzspannung und Versorgungsspannung:
• Sichtkontrolle von Aussen und Innen:
Alle Abdeckungen und Befestigungsteile vorhanden.
Keine Beschädigungen erkennbar (z. B. Blechgehäuse, Schutzgitter, Leitungen und deren Isolierungen).
• Luftein-/Luftaustrittsöffnungen zum Schaltschrank (Innenkreis) und im Deckel (Aussenkreis) sind frei, nicht blockiert oder versperrt.
• Schutzgitter ist frei von Staub und Schmutz.
• Lüfterräder sind ohne Schmutzablagerungen.
• Wärmetauscher (Register) auf Verschmutzungen prüfen.
ACHTUNG:
Arbeiten an den elektrischen Einrichtungen dürfen nur von entsprechendem Fachpersonal
- siehe 1. Einleitung - durchgeführt werden.

Bei der Konstruktion dieser Geräte wurde auf die Zugänglichkeit von Verschleißteilen besonderer Wert gelegt. Ein Teileaustausch ist deshalb sehr einfach
möglich.
häwa Luft-Luft-Wärmetauscher sind sehr wartungsarm, da sie für einen filterlosen Betrieb ausgelegt sind.
Sollte trotzdem eine Reinigung notwendig sein (zum Beispiel wegen zähklebriger Verschmutzungen des Tauscherregisters), ist das folgendermaßen möglich:
• Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Netzanschluss
• Entfernen Sie die Befestigungsschrauben und den Erdungsanschluss (Fastonstecker) und nehmen Sie den Deckel ab.
Klemmen Sie bei den Typen Mini-Mini bis Kompakt 500 zusätzlich den im Deckel eingebauen Lüftermotor ab.
• Reinigen Sie die nun freiliegende Außenseite des Tauscherregisters durch ein Ausblasen mit Pressluft oder mit einem Dampfstrahlgerät.
• Zur Reinigung des kompletten Tauscherregisters (z. B. in einem Reinigungsbad) entfernen Sie die Befestigungsschrauben und entnehmen dieses ganz.
• Der Wiederzusammenbau erfolgt in umgekehrter Reihenfolge
Instandsetzung:
• Tauschen Sie beschädigte oder defekte Teile im Rahmen von vor Ort durchführbaren Instandsetzungen und Reparaturen aus und verwenden Sie nur
häwa Originalteile.
• Kleine Beschädigungen von lackierten Oberflächen (Kratzer) können mit dem häwa Ausbesserungslack für RAL 7035, Art.-Nr. 3080-7035-02-75,
alternativ 2K-PUR Acryllack repariert werden.
• Geben Sie bei der Beschaffung von Ersatzteilen, zu deren Identifizierung, die Artikel- und Seriennummer an - siehe Typenschild.
10. Lagerung und Entsorgung
• Unbrauchbar gewordene Wärmetauscher müssen fachgerecht entsorgt werden.
11. Betriebsstörungen – Ursachen – Abhilfen
Keine / keine ausreichende Kühlung
• Keine Komponente funktioniert
- Das Gerät wird nicht mit Spannung versorgt > Überprüfen, ob die Türen und Schalter geschlossen sind
• Der Innenventilator funktioniert, der Außenventilator funktioniert nicht
- Elektrischer Kondensatorlüfter defekt > Den Kondensator für Lüfter ersetzen
- Außenventilator defekt > Den defekten Außenventilator ersetzen
• Der Innenventilator funktioniert nicht
- Der elektrische Lüfterkondensator funktioniert nicht > Den elektrischen Kondensator für den Lüfter ersetzen
- Innenventilator defekt > Den Ventilator ersetzen

Thanks for purchasing a häwa air-to-air heat exchanger.
These operating instructions provide detailed information for the operation and safe use of the air-to-air heat exchanger.
This manual is intended for trained persons of industry, trade and electrically instructed persons to equip, install and connect air-to-air heat exchangers.
These instructions are constantly reviewed and updated if necessary (subject to technical changes)

Please treat this document with care and make sure that it is read, understood and followed by the operators. This operation manual must be readily
available during the entire service lifetime of the device. If you still have questions regarding the device or its function after reading this manual, please

2. Safety Regulations
2.1 General Safety Regulations
Air-to-air heat exchangers with moving parts always carry a risk of injury and require a great deal of respect and diligence.
Please read this manual carefully before operating the air-to-air heat exchanger to minimize risks.
• The device may only be operated in proper functioning condition.
• Any kind of modifications must be reported immediately to the supervisor.
• Only authorized, trained personnel is allowed to work on the unit.
• Improper use is not permitted.
• Installation, start-up, commissioning of the unit, adjustments and repairs must only be performed by trained, authorized personnel, who also has read
and understood this manual.
Air-to-air heat exchangers are not designed and intended for any other use than described in this manual and
data sheet. In case of misuse, we cannot be made responsible for resulting damage and /or injuries.

2.2 Additional Safety Regulations for the Use of the Air-to-Air Heat Exchanger
• Do not reach into the running air-to-air heat exchanger.
• Do not open cover before unit is powered-off.
• Please consider that the fan is running on after the heat exchanger is powered-off.
• Do not open the cover when device is running.
• Safety mechanisms must not be removed or deactivated
For damages caused by improper installation or non-observance of the safety regulations, häwa cannot be made liable.
3. Features
The air-to-air heat exchanger is state-of-the-art technology and complies with the context of its intended use and coherent safety requirements, at the time
when the product is launched on the market. The air-to- air heat exchanger is supplied with an EC Declaration of Conformity (see attachment) and
corresponds to the Machinery Directive 2006 / 42 / EG.
3.1 Intended Use
This air-to-air heat exchanger is designed for heat dissipation from control cabinets to protect temperature-sensitive components. The device must be
operated in accordance with the specifications and notes of this operation manual and the related technical data sheet.
Any improper use or handling may result in damages to the unit, material assets, the environment and even cause personnel injuries.
The cabinet to be cooled must correspond to protection class IP54 or even higher to avoid excessive condensation. If the ambient temperature is lower than
the temperature inside the cabinet, we recommend to install an air-to-air heat exchanger.
3.2 Predictable Misuse or Improper Handling
Any modification of the device and any predictable misuse or improper handling will invalidate the manufacturer‘s EC Declaration of Conformity and the
Incorporation Regulations Certification awarded to häwa GmbH.
Predictable misuse or improper handling:
• Use in case of non-eliminated error messages/failures
• Use with open cabinet door
• Outdoor use (option: outdoor use is possible for modified versions upon request)
• Use with removed or deactivated safety mechanism
• Use in non-fixed condition
• Improper use of the device
3.3 Residual Risks
Constructively, not all hazards, without limiting the intended functionality of the air-to-air heat exchanger, can be avoided.
The residual risks of the device have been analyzed and assessed by means of a risk assessment.
Possible unavoidable construction risks:
• Injury caused by falling of the air-to-air heat exchanger during unpacking or assembly.
• Scrapes or crushed limbs caused by non-observance of the operating instructions.
Existing residual risks can be avoided by doing the following:
• Careful working
• Observe all notes on the device
• Observe all notes on the packaging
• Observe all notes in this manual
• Follow the general safety regulations and rules
4. Handling and Storage
The devices can be transported and stored in any position. Damages must be reported immediately to the freight forwarder. Non-observance of the
transport and mounting instructions will void any warranty. Air-to-air heat exchangers can be operated in any position.
Please provide the following environmental conditions during transport, storage and operation:
• Dry
• Frost-free
• Dust-protected
• Corrosion-protected

4.1 Receipt and Control of the Scope of Delivery
The goods are delivered in cardboard boxes.
Please check the packaging after receipt of goods for:
• Transport damages
• Other conspicuous features
Any damages found must be filed immediately (damages should be confirmed in writing by the freight forwarder!)
5. Unpacking and Control of Goods
Dispose the packaging material environmentally friendly or re-use it.
• Check the goods for damages
Any damage found has to be filed and reported to your local sales office (see last page).
• Check the goods upon receipt for completeness

6. Commissioning – Start-up
Follow all operating instructions in order to minimize the risk of bodily injuries and damages.
The heat exchanger must only be operated in flawless condition. In case of malfunctions, switch off the heat exchanger immediately.
6.1 Installation
• To make installation as easy as possible, the unit is supplied with a drilling template, showing all openings for air entry and outlet as well as mounting
holes.
• Mount/adhere the provided gasket around the cut-outs (depending on the type, loosely enclosed or foamed-in place).
• Fix the device at the enclosure/cabinet with the provided mounting hardware.
• The device must be installed in its operating position.
• The installation site must be free from aggressive atmosphere and heavy contamination.
• All relevant local laws and regulations must be observed.
• Observe the operating and safety instructions at the installation site.
6.2 Instructions for Electrical Connection
• Read the operation manual before connecting the air-to-air heat exchanger
• The air-to-air heat exchanger may only be commissioned by trained personnel.
• All relevant connection instructions of the responsible energy supplier have to be adhered to.
• Voltage requirements and technical details are listed on the type plate or the enclosed technical data sheet.
• Connect the air-to-air heat exchanger to the power supply via an all-pole disconnecting device according to the over-voltage category III (IEC61058-1).
• The electrical connection must only be done by qualified electricians according to all relevant German VDE directives and the applicable local electrical
requirements.
• Power connection must correspond to the enclosed circuit diagram and technical data sheet.
• Operating and fault messages are shown on the display (if existing).
• For trouble-free operation it is imperative that the air inlet and outlet cut-outs are completely uncovered.
• We recommend an open area of at least 0.8 m around the air inlet and outlet.
• The arrangement of the air inlet and outlet must allow the ventilation of almost all components inside the cabinet.
• Check all fixing points of the cabinet and heat exchanger. The air entry and outlet cut-outs must be as large as the cut-outs of the heat exchanger or
even larger.
• Ensure the leak-tightness between the cabinet and the unit (gaskets in door and locks)

7. Technical Data and Limits of Use
• Voltage requirements and technical details are listed on the type plate. The voltage supply must be connected via a disconnecting device (with a contact
opening of at least 3 mm).

9. Inspection/Maintenance/Repair
ATTENTION:
• Work on the heat exchanger and electrical installations must only be performed by qualified personnel - see item 1. Introduction.
• Disconnect the heat exchanger from power supply prior to maintaining or repairing work. Touching rotating fans and live parts may
result in sever injury or death.
Preparatory measures for the inspection and possible maintenance:
• Perform a visual check prior to the start of any work.
• Open the cabinet door.
• Disconnect the heat exchanger from power supply.
• Remove the front cover of the heat exchanger.
Adapt the intervals for inspection and maintenance to the ambient and operational conditions or to the intervals specified by the operator but perform them
at least twice a year. Use the information specified in item 11 Malfunctions – Causes - Remedies for maintenance and repair of the device.
If the device cannot be repaired on site or if you require further information or help, fill in the “check list häwa Climate Control -
malfunction“ (QR-code) and send it to häwa ([email protected]) or contact your local sales office (see last page).
The inspection includes the control of the following heat exchanger components, the set values and the adjustments
(optional). Please note and check the following:

a) Before disconnecting the heat exchanger from the power supply
• External and internal fans operate without mechanical noise.
b) After disconnecting the heat exchanger from the power supply
• Perform an external and internal visual control:
Check if all covers and attachment parts are present.
No damages are visible (e.g.: on sheet steel enclosure, protection grid, cables and their insulation).
• If the air entry /outlet cut-outs to the cabinet (internal circuit) and to the cover (external circuit) are uncovered.
• If the protection grid is free from dust and dirt.
• If the fan impellers are free from dirt deposits.
• If the heat exchanger (core) is free from dirt.

During the development of these devices, great importance was attached to the accessibility of the wear and tear parts providing thereby an easy exchange
of spare part.
häwa air-to-air heat exchanger are very low-maintenance, since they are designed for non-filter operation.
If a cleaning should be necessary nevertheless (for example due to sticky pollution of the heat exchanger core),
follow the instructions below:
• Disconnect the device from power supply.
• Release the attachment screws and the ground connector (fast-on plug) and remove the cover.
Disconnect also the fan motor of type Mini-Mini up to Kompakt 500, which is installed in the cover.
• Carefully clean the accessible outside of the heat exchanger core by blowing out with compressed air or with a steam jet cleaner.
• For cleaning the complete exchanger core (e.g. in a cleaning bath), release the attachment screws and remove the core completely.
• Reassemble in reverse order.
Repair:
• Exchange damaged or faulty parts if possible on site but use only original häwa parts.
• Minor damages of painted surfaces (scratches) can be repaired with the häwa touch-up paint for RAL 7035, order no. 3080-7035-02-75,
or 2K-PUR acrylic paint.
• Specify the order and serial number – see type plate for the purchase or identification of spare parts.
10. Decommissioning and Disposal
• Devices that cannot be used anymore have to be disposed of professionally and environmentally friendly.

• None of the components operate
- No power is supplied to the unit > Check, if the doors and switches are closed.
• The internal fan operates, external fan fails to operate

Ce manuel vous donne des instructions détaillées concernant la manipulation et l‘utilisation en toute sécurité de l’échangeur thermique air-air.
Il s‘adresse à un personnel spécialisé et formé de l‘industrie et de l‘artisanat ainsi qu‘à des personnes instruites en électrotechnique pour équiper,
installer et raccorder des appareils en fonction de la norme.
Ce manuel est vérifié en permanence et actualisé le cas échéant (sous réserve de modifications techniques) –

2. Consignes de sécurité
2.1 Consignes de sécurité générales
Les échangeurs thermiques air-air avec des pièces en mouvement présentent toujours un risque de blessures et exigent de ce fait de la part de l’utilisateur
une grande attention et un soin particulier.
Pour éviter tout risque, nous vous prions de lire ce manuel attentivement avant la mise en service de l’appareil.
• L’échangeur thermique air-air ne doit être utilisé que dans un état impeccable.
• Toute modification doit être signalée au supérieur hiérarchique.
• Seul un personnel compétent est autorisé à travailler sur l’échangeur thermique air-air.
• Une utilisation non conforme de l’échangeur thermique air-air est interdite.
• Le montage, la mise en service, le réglage de l’appareil et sa réparation ne doivent être effectués que par du personnel qualifié et compétent ayant lu
et compris ce manuel d’utilisation.
L’échangeur thermique air-air n’est ni approprié, ni destiné à être utilisé pour d’autres tâches que celles décrites dans ce manuel et
dans la fiche technique y appartenant. En cas d’abus, nous ne saurions être tenus pour responsables des dommages en résultant.

2.2 Autres règles de sécurité concernant le maniement de l’échangeur thermique air-air
• Ne mettez jamais vos mains ou doigts dans l’échangeur thermique air-air en marche.
• Coupez la tension d’alimentation avant d’ouvrir le couvercle.
• Attention : le ventilateur continue à tourner après son arrêt !
• Attendez l’arrêt complet de l’appareil avant d’ouvrir le couvercle.
• Les équipements de protection ne doivent être ni démontés, ni mis hors service.
La société häwa ne saura être tenue pour responsable des dommages résultant d’une installation incorrecte ou du non-respect des consignes de sécurité.
3. Caractéristiques
L’échangeur thermique air-air répond au standard technologique ainsi qu’aux dispositions de sécurité en vigueur au moment de sa commercialisation dans
le cadre de son usage prévu.
Cet appareil possède une déclaration de conformité CE (voir annexe) et répond ainsi aux exigences de la Directive Machines 2006/42 / CE.
3.1 Utilisation conforme à l’usage prévu
Cet échangeur thermique air-air sert uniquement à évacuer la chaleur des armoires électriques pour la protection des composants sensibles à la tempéra-
ture. Pour garantir une utilisation appropriée de l’échangeur, toutes les indications et consignes de ce manuel et de la fiche technique y appartenant doivent
être respectées.
Une utilisation non conforme et non appropriée peut entraîner des dommages à l’échangeur, aux biens matériels ou à l’environnemnent et/ou des blessures
corporelles.
L’armoire électrique à refroidir doit posséder une protection minimum de IP54. C’est ainsi seulement qu’un excédent d’eau de condensation peut être évité. Dès
que la température ambiante est inférieure à la température à l’intérieur de l’armoire, il conviendra d’utiliser un échangeur thermique air-air.
3.2 Cas d’utilisation incorrecte prévisible et/ou de manipulation incorrecte
Toute modification à l’appareil, tout usage incorrect prévisible ou toute manipulation non conforme de l’appareil entraîne l’annulation de la déclaration de
conformité CE du fabricant et de ce fait l’annulation de l’autorisation générale d’exploitation.
Cas d’utilisation incorrecte prévisible et/ou manipulation incorrecte :
• Utilisation sans avoir remédier auparavant aux signalisations de défauts/aux défauts.
• Utilisation avec porte d’armoire ouverte.
• Utilisation à l’extérieur (possible en option avec modification pour une utilisation à l’extérieur).
• Utilisation après avoir enlevé les équipements de protection.
• Utilisation dans un état où l’ensemble des composants n’est pas fixé correctement.
• Utilisation non conforme à l‘usage prévu.
3.3 Risques résiduels
Côté construction, on ne peut éviter tous les risques sans restreindre la fonctionnalité de l‘appareil. Les dangers résiduels liés au travail avec l’échangeur
thermique air-air ont été analysés et évalués par une procédure d’appréciation du risque.
Les risques résiduels inévitables côté construction peuvent être :
• Blessures causées par un renversement de l’appareil lors du déballage ou du montage.
• Coupures ou écrasements de membres dûs au non-respect de ce manuel d’utilisation.
Les autres risques demeurant existants peuvent être évités en :
• travaillant de façon concentrée.
• tenant compte des indications stipulées sur l’échangeur.
• tenant compte des indications stipulées sur l‘emballage.
• tenant compte des indications stipulées dans ce manuel technique.
• mettant en pratique les réglementations générales de sécurité et les consignes de sécurité.
4. Transport et stockage
Les appareils peuvent être entreposés et transportés dans n’importe quelle position. Dans le cas d’éventuels dommages subis, il faudra les déclarer et les
réclamer immédiatement au transporteur. Le non-respect des consignes de transport et de montage entraîne la perte du droit de garantie.
Les échangeurs thermiques air-air peuvent fonctionner dans n’importe quelle position.
Les conditions environnantes suivantes doivent régner durant le transport, le stockage et le fonctionnement :
• environnement sec
• à l’abri de la poussière
• protégé contre la corrosion

4.1 Prise en charge et contrôle
La marchandise sera livrée emballée dans des cartons.
Contrôlez l’emballage dès réception :
• s’il présente des dommages dus au transport.
• s’il présente d’autres anomalies ou irrégularités.
Si vous constatez des dommages, documentez-les immédiatement (et exigez sur place une confirmation du transporteur par écrit !).
5. Déballage et vérification du contenu de la livraison
Veuillez recycler l’emballage de l’appareil ou utilisez-le à nouveau !
• Vérifiez si la marchandise présente des dommages.
Documentez-les et transmettez ces informations à votre succursale locale (voir en dernière page).
• Vérifiez si la marchandise commandée est complète.

6. Mise en service
Suivez les instructions de travail de ce manuel pour minimiser au maximum les risques de dommages corporels et matériels.
L’échangeur thermique air-air ne doit fonctionner qu’en parfait état. En présence de défauts de fonctionnement, il doit être immédiatement mis hors service.
6.1 Mise en place/installation
• Comme aide de montage, un gabarit de perçage est joint à l’échangeur thermique air-air.
• Apposez le matériau d’étanchéité (suivant la version, fourni séparément non monté ou déjà injecté dans le boîtier).
• Utilisez les vis nécessaires à la fixation au boîtier/à l’armoire livrées avec l’appareil comme accessoires.
• Installez l’échangeur dans sa position d’utilisation.
• N’installez pas l’échangeur dans un milieu agressif ou fortement encrassé.
• Respectez les réglementations en vigueur dans le pays où l’échangeur est installé et mis en service.
• Respectez les consignes de fonctionnement et de sécurité sur le lieu d’installation.
6.2 Raccordement
• Le raccordement de l’échangeur ne doit s’effectuer qu’après la lecture du manuel d’utilisation.
• La mise en service de l’échangeur ne doit être réalisée que par un personnel qualifié et compétent.
• Les règles de raccordement du fournisseur d’électricité doivent être respectées.
• Pour la tension de raccordement et les autres spécifications, reportez-vous à la plaque signalétique ou à la fiche technique jointe.
• L’échangeur thermique air-air doit être raccordé au réseau par un dispositif de coupe-circuit agissant sur tous les pôles selon la catégorie de
surtensions III (IEC61058-1).
• Le raccordement électrique ne doit être effectué que par un personnel qualifié en respectant les règles VDE en vigueur et les conditions de
raccordement techniques locales en application.
• Effectuez les raccordements au réseau en vous reportant à la fiche technique et au plan de câblage.
• Les signalisations de fonctionnement et de défaut sont visibles sur le display (si existant).
• Laissez un écart libre d’au moins 0,8 m devant l’entrée et la sortie d’air.
• Disposez l’entrée et la sortie d’air dans l’armoire électrique de telle façon que tous les composants de l’armoire bénéficient d’un apport d’air frais.
• Tous les points fixant l’armoire à l’échangeur doivent être contrôlés. En outre, les ouvertures d’entrée et de sortie d’air de l’armoire doivent avoir au
moins le même diamètre que celles de l’échangeur.
• L’étanchéité de l’armoire électrique doit être garantie (joints d’étanchéité dans les portes et les fermetures).

7. Caractéristiques techniques et limites d‘utilisation
• La tension secteur et les indications techniques sont stipulées sur la plaque signalétique. Le raccordement au réseau doit disposer d’un dispositif de
séparation (hors tension avec ouverture de contact d’au moins 3 mm).

9. Inspection/Maintenance/Remise en état
ATTENTION:
• Les travaux à l’échangeur thermique et aux installations électriques ne doivent être effectués que par du personnel qualifié
- voir 1. Introduction.
• Mettez l’échangeur hors tension et hors service avant tous les travaux de maintenance. Ne touchez jamais les ventilateurs en
marche et les parties sous tension. Cela peut causer des blessures graves ou mortelles.
Mesures préparatoires pour l‘inspection et la maintenance éventuelle :
• Effectuez un contrôle visuel avant de commencer votre travail
• Ouvrez la porte de l‘armoire.
• Coupez la tension secteur et la tension d‘alimentation de l’échangeur.
• Enlevez le couvercle avant de l’échangeur.
Adaptez les interventions pour les inspections et l‘entretien en fonction des conditions ambiantes et d‘utilisation ou en fonction des intervalles définis par
l‘opérateur, faites-les cependant au moins deux fois par an.
Si des défauts entraînent des réparations sur l‘appareil, veuillez utiliser les informations décrites au paragraphe 11 – Défauts de fonctionnement – Causes -
Remèdes.
Si des travaux de réparation ne peuvent être effectués sur le site ou si vous avez besoin d‘informations supplémentaires et
d‘assistance, veuillez remplir la «Liste de contrôle häwa pour les climatisation - dysfonctionnement» (code QR)
et l‘envoyer à häwa (inf[email protected]) ou à votre bureau de vente local (voir en dernière page).
L‘inspection comprend la vérification des composants suivants de l’échangeur thermique et la vérification des réglages (en option).
Veuillez noter :
Si vous constatez des écarts des valeurs de consigne (par ex. : réglages de température), veuillez contacter le responsable de l‘exploitation.
a) Avant de couper la tension secteur et la tension d‘alimentation, veuillez vous assurer que :
• les ventilateurs extérieur et intérieur fonctionnent sans bruit mécanique
b) Après avoir coupé la tension secteur et la tension d‘alimentation :
• Effectuez un contrôle visuel de l‘extérieur et de l‘intérieur :
tous les couvercles et toutes les pièces de fixation sont-ils / elles bien en place ?
aucuns dommages visibles (par ex. : boîtier en tôle d‘acier, grille de protection, câbles et leurs isolations) ?
• Veillez à ce que les ouvertures d‘entrée et de sortie d‘air vers l‘armoire (circuit intérieur) et dans le couvercle (circuit extérieur) soient libres,
non bloquées et non obstruées.
• Vérifiez si la grille de protection est exempte de poussière et de crasse.
• Vérifiez si les roues des ventilateurs sont sans dépôts de saleté.
• Vérifiez si le registre de l’échangeur est encrassé.
ATTENTION :
Des travaux sur les installations électriques ne doivent être effectués que par du personnel adéquat compétent -
voir 1. Introduction.

Lors de la construction de ces appareils, nous avons attaché une importance particulière à une bonne accessibilité aux pièces d’usure. C’est pourquoi leur
remplacement est tout simple.
Les échangeurs thermiques air-air nécessitent peu d‘entretien puisqu‘ils sont conçus pour un fonctionnement sans filtre.
Si malgré tout un nettoyage devrait s‘imposer (par exemple à cause d‘encrassements très visqueux du registre de l‘échangeur), veuillez procéder comme
suit :
• Coupez l‘appareil de la tension secteur.
• Retirez les vis de fixation et la prise de terre (fiche faston) et enlevez le couvercle.
• Pour les types Mini-Mini à Compact 500, débranchez en plus le moteur du ventilateur se trouvant dans le couvercle.
• Nettoyez maintenant l‘extérieur découvert du registre de l‘échangeur en le soufflant à l‘air comprimé ou par un appareil à jet de vapeur.
• Pour le nettoyage du registre complet de l‘échangeur (par exemple dans un bain de nettoyage), retirez les vis de fixation et enlevez le registre dans son
intégralité.
• Le remontage a lieu dans l‘ordre chronologique inverse.
Entretien :
• Remplacez les pièces endommagées ou défectueuses lors de la maintenance et des réparations sur le site et n‘utilisez que des pièces d‘origine häwa.
• Les petits endommagements des surfaces peintes (rayures) peuvent être réparés avec la peinture de réparation häwa pour RAL 7035,
référence 3080-7035-02-75, ou sinon avec de la peinture acrylique de 2K-PUR.
• Si vous commandez des pièces de rechange, veuillez spécifier la référence et le numéro de série - voir la plaque signalétique.
10. Mise au rebut
• Les échangeurs thermiques air-air devenus inutilisables doivent être mis au rebut de manière adéquate et sans aucune nuisance pour l’environnement.
11. Défauts de fonctionnement – Causes – Remèdes
Pas de refroidissement / refroidissement insuffisant
• Aucun composant ne fonctionne
- l’appareil n’est pas alimenté en tension > vérifiez si les portes et commutateurs sont fermés
• Le ventilateur intérieur fonctionne, le ventilateur extérieur ne fonctionne pas
- ventilateur électrique du condensateur défectueux > remplacez le condensateur du ventilateur
- ventilateur extérieur défectueux > remplacez le ventilateur extérieur défectueux
• Le ventilateur intérieur ne fonctionne pas
- le condensateur électrique du ventilateur ne fonctionne pas > remplacez le condensateur électrique du ventilateur
- ventilateur intérieur défectueux > remplacez le ventilateur
• Les ventilateurs extérieur et intérieur fonctionnent
- grille d’aspiration fortement encrassée > nettoyez la grille d’aspiration
- registre de l’échangeur fortement encrassé > nettoyez le registre de l’échangeur
