1. Bestimmungszweck
Sensor Operated LED Leuchten (nachfolgend „Produkt“) sind für den Einsatz in geeigneten Leergehäusen und Schaltschränken gemäss Niederspannungs-
richtlinie 2014/35/EU konzipiert.
Sie können einzeln oder in Reihe geschaltet betrieben werden – siehe technische Daten.
Bestimmt für den Einsatz im Innenbereich in einer normalen Industrieumgebung sind Sensor Operated LED Leuchten zum Anschluss an die in den tech-
nischen Daten angegebenen Spannungsbereiche und ausgelegt.
Sie dürfen nur mit dem dafür bestimmten Zubehör betrieben und benutzt werden.
Die Produkte sind nicht ausgelegt für dynamische Lasten oder zusätzliche, ausser dem Eigengewicht wirkende Lasten.
Für Einsatz in USA/Kanada gilt diese Anleitung mit dem folgenden Zusatz:
Sensor Operated LED Leuchten sind für die Installation in ungefährlichen Umgebungen (non-hazardous locations) bestimmt.
Sie sind geeignet für den Einsatz im Innenbereich, in Feuchträumen (damp location) in geeigneten Gehäusen für Schaltanlagen für allgemeinen industriellen
Gebrauch (Industrial Control Panels UL 508A, Enclosures for Electrical Equipment UL 50/UL 50E).
Die Spanungsbereiche, Stromquellen und notwendige Absicherung sind in den technischen Daten beschrieben.
2. Allgemeines
Diese Bedienungsanleitung ist Bestandteil des Produkts.
Dem Produkt ist eine Kurzbedienungsanleitung beigelegt:
Sie richtet sich an ausgebildete Elektrofachkräfte (skilled person / personne qualifiée) der Industrie und des Handwerks und elektrotechnisch unterwiesene
Personen (instructed person / personne avertie), um Betriebsmittel für Schaltschränke normgerecht auszurüsten, aufzustellen/zu montieren und anzuschliessen.
Bitte bewahren Sie sie sorgfältig auf. Dies gilt gleichfalls für Montage- und Bedienungsanleitungen von Zubehör.
Bei Nichtbeachtung der Anleitung sowie nicht bestimmungsgemässen Gebrauch übernehmen wir keine Haftung für evtl. Schäden an oder durch Benutzer
und Dritte.

Das Produkt ist anschlussfertig vormontiert und ist mit je einem Stecker- und Buchsenteil ausgestattet. (AC-Ausführung Buchsen- und Steckerteil schwarz,
DC-Ausführung Buchsen- und Steckteil grün). Zusätzlich verfügt die Leuchte über eine Anschlussmöglichkeit eines integrierten Öffners (NC) und Schliessers (NO).
Hinweis:
Der mit NO/NC (Schliesser/Öffner) gekennzeichnete Anschluss entspricht der Türschalterfunktion.
Beim Öffnen der Tür wird der Näherungssensor im Produkt ausgelöst und die Relaiskontakte ändern Ihren Zustand und schalten alle daran angeschlossenen
Geräte wie z. B. Kühlgeräte, Lüfter oder Signalsäulen aus oder ein.
Der Lieferumfang umfasst:
• 1 Sensor Operated LED Leuchte, anschlussfertig, inklusive Montagezubehör (je 2 x Gefu-Schraube M5, U-Scheibe, Zahnscheibe)
• 1 Stecker (male) zum Anschluss eines integrierten Öffners (NC) und Schliessers (NO) - Türschalterfunktion
• Magnetbefestigung montiert (nur Varianten ohne Steckdose)
• Kurzbedienungsanleitung / Quick reference guide

Zubehör finden Sie auf unserer Website (Artikelnummer Ihres Produkts eingeben und den Reiter „Zubehör“ anwählen).
Für bestimmte Fälle empfohlenes oder notwendiges Zubehör ist in dieser Anleitung mit der Artikelnummer aufgeführt.
3. Sicherheitshinweise
Die Hinweise zu vorhersehbarer Fehlanwendung und verbleibendem Restrisiko, die besonderen Hinweise und technischen Daten der Seite 8 dieser Anleitung
sind zu beachten, damit Gefahren für Leib und Leben bestmöglich minimiert werden können.
Das gilt vor allem für das Risiko schwerer oder tödlicher Verletzungen durch Stromschläge!
Beachten Sie die für Ihre Niederspannungs-Schaltgerätekombination geltenden Normen und Vorschriften.
- Lesen Sie die Anleitung und das Typenschild bevor Sie die Sensor Operated LED Leuchte -nachfolgend als Produkt bezeichnet montieren oder benutzen.
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Schaltschrank spannungsfrei geschaltet ist und sichern Sie diesen gegen versehentliches Wiedereinschalten ab! Beachten Sie
die Anweisungen oder Anleitung des Herstellers des Schaltschrankes.
- Stellen Sie beim Transport, Verbringen an den Aufstellort, Auspacken, Montage sicher, dass das Produkt nicht beschädigt und unbrauchbar wird. Siehe 5.
Hinweise für die Montage und Inbetriebnahme.
- Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht ausserhalb von geeigneten Leergehäusen oder Schaltschränken.
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Umgebungstemperaturen am Aufstellort die Betriebstemperatur (siehe technische Daten) nicht unter-/ überschreiten, kein
grober Schmutz und starke Feuchte vorhanden sind.
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Bedingungen am Einbauort der Schutzklasse des Gerätes entsprechen (siehe technische Daten).
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Produkt erst nach der ordnungsgemässen Montage an das Stromnetz angeschlossen wird.
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Strom- und Spannungswerte des Produkts eingehalten werden.
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Produkt (einzeln oder in Reihe hintereinandergeschaltet) durch eine geeignete Schutzeinrichtung abgesichert ist (siehe tech-
nische Daten).
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass benötigte (elektrische) Betriebsmittel (= electrical equipment) das/die entsprechende (elektrische) Rating/Zulassung besitzen/besitzt.
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass zwischen dem Produkt und anderen Betriebsmitteln ausreichend Abstand besteht.
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Produkt für die Dauer einer Wartung oder Reinigung nicht am Netz ist.
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass Steckverbinder und Steckdose keinen Belastungen ausgesetzt sind und an die Steckdose angeschlossene Elektrowerkzeuge nicht
frei hängen.
- Öffnen Sie nicht das Gehäuse des Produkts.
- Achten Sie auf eine ordnungsgemässe Leitungsführung und Zugentlastung für alle an das Produkt herangeführte Leitungen und Kabel.
- Drehmomentangaben sind einzuhalten.
- Verwenden Sie für die Montage geeignete Steighilfen, die der Arbeitshöhe angemessen sind.
- Verwenden Sie nur die Teile aus dem Lieferumfang.
Beachten Sie ebenfalls die Anleitungen für das Zubehör.
Werden Sensor Operated LED Leuchten als Betriebsmittel in Enclosures für Electrical Equipment nach UL50/UL50E bzw. Enclosed Industrial Control Panels
nach UL508A montiert, gilt zusätzlich zu den vorgenannten Hinweisen:
- Beachten Sie die für Ihre Niederspannungs-Schaltgerätekombination / enclosed industrial control panel geltenden Normen.
- Verschliessen Sie sämtliche Öffnungen fachgerecht mit Geräten / Betriebsmitteln mit geeignetem Type Rating.
- Connectors are suitable for factory wiring only.
- These device are intended to be installed within an ultimate enclosure where the mounting, spacings, and segregation requirements are considered during
the end-product investigation.
- Model 24 V DC (3080-7042-35-07 und …- 7043-35-07) shall be supplied by Class 2 circuit.
- Steckverbinder sind nur für die werkseitige Verkabelung geeignet.
- Diese Geräte sind für die Installation in einem Endgehäuse bestimmt, in dem die Anforderungen an Montage, Abstände und räumliche Abtrennung während
der Untersuchung des Endprodukts berücksichtigt werden.
- Die Variante 24 V DC (3080-7042-35-07 und …- 7043-35-07) wird von einem Class 2 Stromkreis versorgt.
4. Vorhersehbare Fehlanwendung, verbleibende Restgefahren
Vorhersehbare Fehlanwendung:
• Der Aufstellort ist verschmutzt. Einsatzbedingungen und Verwendung widersprechen der bestimmungsgemässen Verwendung.
• Kein Ausrichten, falsche Befestigungsmittel, Verwenden von ungeeignetem Werkzeug.
• Qualifikation von Personen nicht ausreichend.
• Sicht- / Funktionsprüfungen werden nicht durchgeführt.
• Steckverbinder und Steckdosen werden mit Gewicht oder Zug belastet.
• Mangelhafte Leitungsführung und/oder Zugentlastung.
• Ausgewählte Betriebsmittel sind nicht UL-zugelassen oder besitzen kein geeignetes (elektrisches) Rating.
• Reinigung erfolgt nicht.
• Es werden keine Original-Ersatzteile verwendet.

Die nach einer Risikoanalyse verbleibenden Restgefahren können sein:
• Quetschen, Stoss durch kippende, fallende Teile,
• Schneiden an scharfen Kanten,
• Ausrutschen, Stürzen auf verschmutzten, feuchten, glatten Böden,
• elektrischer Schlag.
Diese Restgefahren können durch aufmerksames Arbeiten und vom Betreiber vorgesehene (Schutz-) Massnahmen vermieden werden.
5. Hinweise für die Montage und Inbetriebnahme
Beachten Sie die vorstehenden Hinweise und Angaben dieser Anleitung!
Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Schaltschrank während der gesamten Zeitdauer der Montage spannungsfrei geschaltet ist und sichern Sie diesen gegen verse-
hentliches Wiedereinschalten ab!
Die Betriebsspannung und technischen Angaben sind dem Typenschild zu entnehmen.
Der Netzanschluss muss über eine Vorsicherung erfolgen.
Prüfen Sie die Unversehrtheit des Produkts.
Öffnen Sie nicht das Gehäuse des Produkts.
Während und nach der Montage darauf achten, dass die sämtliche Steckverbinder und Steckdose (optional) keinen Belastungen ausgesetzt sind (z. B. durch
nicht zugentlastete Leitungen) und an die Steckdose angeschlossene Elektrowerkzeuge oder sonstige Lasten nicht frei hängen.
Beachten Sie vorgegebene Drehmomente.
Verwenden Sie angemessene Schutzausrüstung (z. B. Handschuhe, Sicherheitsschuhe).
Vorhandene oder vor Ort hergestellte Ausbrüche und Bohrungen sind fachmännisch zu verschliessen – IP-Schutzgrad bzw. Type Rating beachten.
5a)
Montage der Befestigungsvariante Schraubbefestigung in häwa Stand-/Anreihschränke H3X0/H3X5 und Leergehäuse mit 25 mm Lochraster:
Die Montage des Produktes erfolgt im 25 mm Lochraster der Dachzarge des Schrankes; die Position ist frei wählbar.
Legen Sie fest, ob für die Befestigung die mittleren oder äusseren Bohrungen der Winkel am Produkt verwendet werden.
Kennzeichnen Sie im Lochraster die Bohrungen (Ø 4,5 mm) der gewünschten Position.
Befestigen Sie das Produkt nach Vorgabe.
Für die Positionierung des Produktes in Leergehäusen mit 25 mm Lochraster gelten grundsätzlich die Vorgaben aus 5b).
Funktionsprüfung des Sensors siehe 5e).
Hinweis:
Erfolgt nach der Montage ein erneuter Transport an den endgültigen Aufstellungsort benutzen Sie bitte sämtliche Bohrungen der Winkel!
Dasselbe wird für die Produktvarianten „mit Steckdose“ empfohlen.
Sensor Drehmoment: Stahl 4 Nm, Edelstahl 3 Nm

5b)
Montage der Befestigungsvariante Magnetbefestigung in Leergehäuse
Nur für statische Einsatzbedingungen!
Produkte mit Magnetbefestigung müssen vor jeglichem Transport gegen herabfallen gesichert werden.
Das Produkt kann an alle für Magnete geeignete Flächen innerhalb von Leergehäusen angebracht werden.
Die jeweilige ausgewählte Position im Leergehäuse muss fettfrei und sauber sein.
Beide Magnete müssen vollständig anliegen!
Wählen Sie die Position des Produktes nach den Vorgaben.

5c)
Elektrischer Anschluss
Zum Anschluss an die Stromversorgung wird eine Anschlussleitung benötigt. Siehe Seite 8 Technische Daten und Seite 11 Zubehör.
Überprüfen Sie das Typenschild, bevor Sie das Produkt an Ihre Stromversorgung anschliessen.
Nach dem Anbringen der Anschlussleitung ist sofort elektrischer Strom vorhanden (an Leuchtmittel, Steckdose, Kaskadierung).
Für die Gleichstrom Varianten des Produktes dürfen nur SELV DC Stromquellen verwendet werden.
Für UL Anwendungen darf nur ein gelistetes Class 2 Netzteil verwendet werden – siehe 3. Sicherheitshinweise.
Beachten Sie die Angaben zu Betriebs-/Wechsel- und Gleichspannung -siehe 7. Technische Daten bzw. 8. Schaltpläne!
Wählen und benutzen Sie eine geeignete und für den Anwendungsfall zugelassene Art der Zugentlastung für sämtliche Leitungen.
Kabel müssen innerhalb des Gehäuses gemäss den Empfehlungen, Vorgaben des Schaltschrankherstellers befestigt werden.
Das Produkt in der Variante mit Steckdose kann auch als Stromquelle für Geräte dienen. Dabei darf der Gesamtstrom den Nennwert nicht überschreiten.
Die Steckverbinder dürfen nach der Installation keiner Belastung ausgesetzt werden. Versorgungsanschlüsse dürfen nicht verdeckt oder durch eine Wand, ei-
nen Boden, eine Decke oder eine ähnliche Gebäudestruktur geführt werden, sich nicht über einer abgehängten Decke befinden und nicht über Ihre gesamte
Länge sichtbar sein.
ACHTUNG:
- Wenn eine Anschlussklemme mit der Stromversorgung verbunden ist, steht die andere unter Spannung. Auf diese Weise können mehrere Beleuchtungskör-
per in einer Verkettung miteinander verbunden werden. Die optionale Steckdose steht ebenfalls unter Spannung, wenn eine der beiden Anschlussklemmen
mit der Stromversorgung verbunden wird.
- Beim Anschluss mehrerer Geräte aneinander und an die Steckdose, ist es wichtig, dass der Gesamtstrom, der durch die erste Leuchte fliesst (die die
anderen Leuchten versorgt), 16 A (CEE 7/3) bzw. 10,6 A (NEMA 5-15) nicht überschreitet.
Das Produkt besitzt keinen mechanischen Ein/Aus Schalter. Halten Sie das Produkt so, dass Sie oder Dritte nicht geblendet werden können.
Steckercode und Farbe gewährleisten eine sichere Verwendung der Leitungen:
AC = schwarz, DC = grün.
Der Verriegelungsmechanismus des Steckers und der Buchse am Produkt muss sicher (hörbar) am Steckverbinder der Anschluss-/Verbindungsleitung einrasten.

Dasselbe gilt für die Verriegelung der Anschlussbuchse des integrierten Öffners (NC), Schliessers (NO) zusammen mit dem im Lieferumfang enthaltenen
Stecker. Montieren Sie zuvor Ihre dafür vorgesehen Leitungen in den Stecker.
Entfernen der Steckverbinder:
Alle Stecker sind mit einem Verriegelungsmechanismus ausgestattet, der ein versehentliches Abziehen verhindert.
Um einen Stecker zu entfernen, muss der Verriegelungsmechanismus mit einem flachen Schraubendreher angehoben werden, bevor der Stecker gezogen wird.

5d)
Kaskadieren (daisy-chain) von Sensor Operated LED Leuchten
Bis zu maximal 10 Sensor Operated LED Leuchten können in Reihe geschaltet werden. Verbindungsleitungen siehe 9. Zubehör.
Überprüfen Sie das Typenschild, bevor Sie das Produkt in Reihe schalten.
Achtung:
Es gelten die Vorgaben und Hinweise aus 5c)!
Beim Anschluss mehrerer Geräte aneinander und an die Steckdose, ist es wichtig, dass der Gesamtstrom, der durch die erste Leuchte fliesst (die die anderen
Leuchten versorgt), 16 A (CEE 7/3) bzw. 10,6 A (NEMA 5-15) nicht überschreitet.
Die Kaskadierung wird nur empfohlen für direkt am Schaltschrank verschraubte Produkte!
5e)
Funktionsprüfung des Produkts
Nach der Montage und Anschluss an das Stromnetz ist das Produkt betriebsbereit.
Überprüfung der Ein/Aus Funktion:
Nach dem Öffnen der Tür sorgt ein integrierter Näherungssensor sofort für eine breitstrahlende und homogene Ausleuchtung des Gehäuses. Wird die Tür
geschlossen, schaltet das Produkt mit einer Verzögerung von ca. 5 Sekunden ab.

6. Hinweise für die Inspektion, Wartung, Instandsetzung
Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Schaltschrank während der gesamten Zeitdauer spannungsfrei geschaltet ist und sichern Sie diesen gegen versehentliches
Wiedereinschalten ab!
Durch den Einsatz der LED-Technologie haben die Produkte eine lange Lebensdauer und sind nahezu wartungsfrei.
Bitte prüfen Sie, gegebenenfalls im Rahmen der vom Betreiber festgelegten Revision, mindestens 1 x jährlich
• den einwandfreien Zustand der Befestigung zum Leergehäuse.
• die einwandfreie Funktion des Sensors – siehe 5. Hinweise für die Montage.
• den einwandfreien Zustand und Zugentlastung der Anschluss- und der Steckverbinder und Ihrer Leitungen.
Passen Sie die Wartungsintervalle an die Umgebungs- und Einsatzbedingungen an!
Säubern Sie den Sensor in regelmässigen Abständen.
Tauschen Sie beschädigte Teile insbesondere das LED-Modul nicht selbst aus sondern wenden sich stattdessen an Ihren zuständigen Vertrieb.
Geben Sie bei der Ersatzbeschaffung die Artikelnummer des Produktes und die Auftragsnummer an – siehe Vorderseite Leuchte.
Das Produkt enthält keine vom Benutzer auswechselbaren Teile.

Angaben zum Drehmoment:
Untenstehende Angaben wurden einmalig an Leergehäusen mit 2 mm Materialstärke aus Stahlblech mit Standardlackierung und aus Edelstahl ermittelt und
stellen unter optimalen Bedingungen (beispielweise gerades Ansetzen Gewinde formender Schrauben) verbindliche Werte dar.
Stahlblech 4 Nm / Edelstahl 3 Nm – nachdem das Gewinde komplett geformt ist.

1. Intended purpose
Sensor Operated led luminaires (hereinafter referred to as “product”) are designed for use in suitable empty housings and control cabinets in accordance
with Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
They can be operated individually or connected in series - see technical data.
Intended for indoor use in a normal industrial environment, Sensor Operated LED luminaires are designed for connection to the voltage ranges specified in
the technical data.
They may only be operated and used with the accessories intended for this purpose.
The products are not designed for dynamic loads or additional loads acting other than their own weight.
For use in USA/Canada these instructions apply with the following addition:
Sensor Operated LED luminaires are intended for installation in non-hazardous locations.
They are suitable for use indoors, in damp locations in suitable enclosures for switchgear for general industrial use (Industrial Control Panels UL 508A, Enclo-
sures for Electrical Equipment UL 50/UL 50E).
The voltage ranges, current sources, and necessary fusing are described in the technical data.
2. General
This manual is part of the product.
A quick reference guide is included with the product:
It is intended for trained electricians (skilled person / personne qualifiée) in industry and the trades and persons instructed in electrical engineering
(instructed person / personne avertie) to equip, set up/mount and connect equipment for control cabinets in accordance with standards.
Please retain it for your records. This also applies to assembly and operating instructions for accessories.
In case of non-observance of the instructions as well as non-intended use, we do not assume any liability for possible damage to or by users and third
parties.

The product is pre-assembled ready for connection and is equipped with one male and one female part. (AC version socket and plug part black, DC version
socket and plug part green). In addition, the light has a connection option of an integrated normally closed (NC) and normally open (NO) contact.
Note:
The connection marked NO/NC (normally open/ normally closed corresponds to the door switch function.
When the door is opened, the proximity sensor in the product is triggered and the relay contacts change their state and switch off or on all devices
connected to it, such as cooling units, fans, or signal towers.
The scope of delivery includes:
• 1 Sensor Operated LED light, ready for connection, mounting accessories included (2 x each M5 Gefu screw, U-washer, toothed lock washer)
• 1 plug (male) for connecting an integrated normally closed (NC) and normally open (NO) contact - door switch function
• Magnetic mounting mounted (only variants without socket)

Accessories recommended or necessary for certain cases are listed in these instructions with the article number.
3. Safety Instruction
The notes on foreseeable misuse and remaining residual risk, the special notes, and technical data on page 18 of these instructions must be observed so that
risks to life and limb can be minimized as far as possible.
This applies above all to the risk of serious or fatal injury from electric shock!
Observe the standards and regulations applicable to your low-voltage switchgear and control gear assembly.
- Read the instructions and the nameplate before installing or using the Sensor Operated LED fixture - hereinafter referred to as the product.
- Make sure that the control cabinet is de-energized and secure it against accidental restart! Observe the instructions or instructions of the manufacturer of
the control cabinet.
- Make sure that the product is not damaged and unusable during transport, transport to the installation site, unpacking, assembly. - see 5. Instructions for
installation and commissioning.
- Do not use the product outside of suitable empty enclosures or control cabinets.
- Make sure that the ambient temperatures at the installation site do not fall below / exceed the operating temperature (see technical data), and that there is
no coarse dirt and heavy humidity.
- Make sure that the conditions at the installation site correspond to the protection class of the device (see technical data).
- Make sure that the product is connected to the mains only after proper assembly.
- Make sure that the current and voltage values of the product are observed.
- Make sure that the product (individually or in series) is secured by a suitable protective device (see technical data).
- Make sure that the required (electrical) equipment has the appropriate (electrical) rating/approval.
- Make sure that there is sufficient clearance between the product and other equipment.
- Make sure that the product is not connected to the mains for the duration of maintenance or cleaning.
- Make sure that the connectors and socket are not exposed to any stresses and that power tools connected to the socket are not hanging freely.
- Do not open the housing of the product.
- Please ensure proper cable routing and strain relief for all cables and wires attached to the product.
- Torque specifications must be observed.
- Use suitable climbing aids for assembly that are appropriate for the working height.
- Use only the parts from the scope of delivery.
Also, observe the instructions for the accessories.
If Sensor Operated LED luminaires are mounted as equipment in enclosures for electrical equipment according to UL50/UL50E or enclosed industrial control
panels according to UL508A, the following applies in addition to the above instructions:
- Obey the standards applicable to your low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assembly / enclosed industrial control panel.
- Close all openings properly with devices/equipment with an appropriate type rating.
- Connectors are suitable for factory wiring only.
- These device are intended to be installed within an ultimate enclosure where the mounting, spacings, and segregation requirements are considered during
the end-product investigation.
- Model 24 V DC (3080-7042-35-07 und …- 7043-35-07) shall be supplied by Class 2 circuit.
- Connectors are only suitable for factory wiring.
- These devices are intended for installation in a final enclosure where the requirements for mounting, spacing, and spatial separation are taken into account
during the examination of the final product.
- The variant 24 V DC (3080-7042-35-07 and …- 7043-35-07) is powered by a Class 2 circuit.
4. Foreseeable misuse, remaining residual hazards
Foreseeable misuse:
• The installation site is dirty. Operating conditions and use contradict the intended use.
• No alignment, wrong fasteners, use of improper tools.
• Insufficient qualifications of persons.
• Visual / functional tests are not carried out.
• Connectors and sockets are subjected to weight or tension.
• Poor cable routing and/or strain relief.
• Selected equipment is not UL-approved or does not have a suitable (electrical) rating.
• Cleaning does not take place.
• No original spare parts are used.

The residual hazards remaining after a risk analysis may be:
• Crushing, impact due to tilting, falling parts,
• Cutting on sharp edges,
• Slipping, falling on dirty, damp, slippery floors,
• electric shock.
These residual hazards can be avoided by attentive work and (protective) measures provided by the operator.
5. Notes for mounting and commissioning
Observe the above notes and information in these instructions!
Make sure that the control cabinet is disconnected from the power supply for the entire duration of the installation and secure it against accidental reconnection!
The operating voltage and technical data can be found on the nameplate.
The mains connection must be made via a back-up fuse.
Check that the product is intact.
Do not open the product‘s housing.
During and after installation, make sure that all connectors and sockets (optional) are not exposed to any loads (e.g., due to cables that are not strain-relie-
ved) and that power tools or other loads connected to the socket do not hang freely.
Observe specified torques.
Use appropriate protective equipment (e.g. gloves, safety shoes).
Existing breakouts and holes or holes made on site must be sealed professionally - observe IP degree of protection or type rating.
5a)
Mounting of the screw mounting variant in häwa floor-standing/side-by-side cabinets H3X0/H3X5 and empty housings with 25 mm hole pattern:
The product is mounted in the 25 mm hole grid of the cabinet‘s roof frame; the position is freely selectable.
Determine whether the center or outer holes of the brackets on the product will be used for mounting.
Mark the holes (Ø 4.5 mm) of the desired position in the hole grid.
Attach the product according to specifications.
For positioning the product in empty housings with a 25 mm hole pattern, the specifications from 5b) apply in principle.
Function test of the sensor see 5e).
Note:
If the unit is transported again to the final installation site after assembly, please use all the holes in the brackets!
The same is recommended for the product variants „with socket“.

For static operating conditions only!
Products with magnetic attachments must be secured against falling before any transport.
The product can be attached to all surfaces suitable for magnets inside empty housings.
The respective selected position in the empty housing must be grease-free and clean.
Both magnets must be fully engaged!

Electrical connection
A connection cable is required for connection to the power supply. See page 18 Technical data and page 21 Accessories.
Check the nameplate before connecting the product to its power supply.
After attaching the connecting cable, electric current is immediately available (at illuminant, socket, cascading).
Only SELV DC power sources may be used for the DC variants of the product.
For UL applications, only one Class 2 listed power supply may be used – see 3. Safety instructions.
Observe the information on operating/AC and DC voltage -see 7. Technical data or 8. Circuit diagrams!
Select and use a suitable type of strain relief approved for the application of all cables.
Cables must be fixed inside the enclosure according to the recommendations, and specifications of the control cabinet manufacturer.
The product in the variant with a socket can also serve as a power source for devices. The total current must not exceed the nominal value.
The connectors must not be subjected to any load after installation. Supply connections shall not be concealed or routed through a wall, floor, ceiling, or
similar building structure, shall not be located above a suspended ceiling, and shall not be visible along their entire length.
ATTENTION:
- When one terminal is connected to the power supply, the other is life. In this way, a plurality of illumination bodies can be connected to one another in a
concatenation. The optional outlet is also live when one of the two terminals is connected to the power supply.
- If several devices are connected to each other and to the socket, it is important that the total current flowing through the first luminaire (which supplies the
other luminaires) does not exceed 16 A (CEE 7/3) or 10.6 A (NEMA 5-15).
The luminaire does not have a mechanical on/off switch. Hold the product in such a way that you or third parties cannot be dazzled.
Plug code and color ensure safe use of the cables:
AC = black, DC = green.
The locking mechanism of the plug and socket on the product must engage securely (audibly) on the connector of the connecting/interconnecting cable.

The same applies to the interlocking of the connection socket of the integrated opener (NC), and closer (NO) together with the plug included in the delivery.
Beforehand, install their designated wires into the connector.
Removing the connectors:
All plugs are equipped with a locking mechanism that prevents accidental disconnection.
To remove a plug, the locking mechanism must be lifted with a flat screwdriver before the plug is pulled out.

5d)
Cascading (daisy-chain) of Sensor Operated LED Lights
Up to a maximum of 10 Sensor Operated LED lights can be connected in series. For connecting lines, see 9. Accessories.
Check the rating plate before connecting the product in series.
Caution:
The requirements and notes from 5c) apply!
When connecting multiple devices together and to the outlet, it is important that the total current flowing through the first fixture (which supplies the other
fixtures) does not exceed 16 A (CEE 7/3) or 10.6 A (NEMA 5-15).
Cascading is only recommended for products screwed directly to the control cabinet!

Functional testing of the product
After installation and connection to the power grid, the product is ready for operation.
Checking the on/off function:
After opening the door, an integrated proximity sensor immediately ensures a wide beam and homogeneous illumination of the housing. If the door is closed,
the product switches off with a delay of approx. 5 seconds.

6. Instructions for inspection, maintenance, repair
Ensure that the control cabinet is disconnected from the power supply for the entire duration and secure it against accidental reconnection!
Thanks to the use of LED technology, the products have a long service life and are virtually maintenance-free.
Please check, if necessary within the scope of the revision specified by the operator, at least 1 x per year
• the proper condition of the attachment to the empty housing.
• the proper functioning of the sensor – see 5. Notes for assembly.
• the proper condition and strain relief of the connecting and the plug-in connectors and their cables.
Adapt the maintenance intervals to the ambient and operating conditions!
Clean the sensor at regular intervals.
Do not replace damaged parts yourself, especially the LED module, but contact your local distributor instead.
When ordering a replacement, specify the part number of the product and the order number - see the front of the luminaire.
The product does not contain any user-replaceable parts.

The data below were determined once on empty housings with a material thickness of 2 mm made of sheet steel with standard paint finish and stainless steel
and represent binding values under optimum conditions (e.g. straight application of thread-forming screws).
Steel sheet 4 Nm/stainless steel 3 Nm – after the thread is completely formed.

The connection marked NO/NC corresponds to the door switch function.
When the door is opened, the proximity sensor in the product is triggered and the relay contacts change their state and switch off or on all devices connected
to it, such as cooling units, fans, or signal towers. The total current must not exceed the nominal value.
