Betriebsanleitung vor der ersten Inbetrieb-
nahme gründlich durchgelesen und ver-
standen hat.
• Diese Betriebsanleitung enthält wichtige
Hinweise, die zum sicheren und störungs-
freien Betrieb Ihrer HAZET Kabelbox erfor-
derlich sind.
• Zum bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch der
HAZET Kabelbox gehört die vollständige
Beachtung aller Sicherheitshinweise und
Informationen in dieser Betriebsanleitung.
• Bewahren Sie deshalb diese Betriebsanlei-
tung immer bei Ihrer HAZET Kabelbox auf.
• Diese HAZET Kabelbox wurde für bestimmte
Anwendungen entwickelt. HAZET weist
ausdrücklich darauf hin, dass diese HAZET
Kabelbox nicht verändert und/oder in einer
Weise eingesetzt werden darf, die nicht
seinem vorgesehenen Verwendungszweck

2. Bestimmungsgemäße
Verwendung
Die Betriebssicherheit ist nur bei
bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung entspre-
chend der Angaben in der Betriebsanleitung
gewährleistet. Neben den Arbeitssicherheits-
Hinweisen in dieser Betriebsanleitung sind die
für den Einsatzbereich des Gerätes allgemein
gültigen Sicherheits-, Unfallverhütungs- und
Umweltschutz- Vorschriften zu beachten und
einzuhalten. Die Benutzung und Wartung muss
immer entsprechend des lokalen staatlichen
Landes oder Bundesbestimmungen erfolgen.
Jede Person, die mit Arbeiten am oder mit
dem Gerät beauftragt ist, muss daher die
Betriebsanleitung vor Beginn der Arbeiten
gelesen und verstanden haben.
• Jede über die bestimmungsgemäße
Verwendung hinausgehende und/oder anders-
artige Verwendung der Geräte ist untersagt und
gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß.
• Ansprüche jeglicher Art gegen den Hersteller
und/oder seine Bevollmächtigten wegen
Schäden aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßer
Verwendung der Geräte sind ausgeschlossen.

1. Verantwortung
des Betreibers
• Das Gerät ist zum Zeitpunkt seiner
Entwicklung und Fertigung nach geltenden,
anerkannten Regeln der Technik gebaut
und gilt als betriebssicher. Es können vom
Gerät jedoch Gefahren ausgehen, wenn
es von nicht fachgerecht ausgebildetem
Personal, unsachgemäß oder nicht bestim-
mungsgemäß, verwendet wird.
• Jede Person, die mit Arbeiten am oder mit
dem Gerät beauftragt ist, muss daher die
Betriebsanleitung vor Beginn der Arbeiten
gelesen und verstanden haben.
• Veränderungen jeglicher Art sowie An- oder
Umbauten am Gerät sind untersagt.
• Alle Sicherheits-, Warn- und
Bedienungshinweise am Gerät sind
stets in gut lesbarem Zustand zu halten.
Beschädigte Schilder oder Aufkleber müs-
sen sofort erneuert werden.
• Angegebene Einstellwerte oder -bereiche
sind unbedingt einzuhalten.
• Betriebsanleitung stets in unmittelbarer
Nähe des Geräts aufbewahren.
• Gerät nur in technisch einwandfreiem und
betriebssicherem Zustand betreiben.
• Sicherheitseinrichtungen immer frei erreich-
bar vorhalten und regelmäßig prüfen.

3. Gefahren die vom
Gerät ausgehen
Vor jeder Benutzung ist das HAZET-Werkzeug
auf seine volle Funktionsfähigkeit zu prü-
fen. Ist die Funktionsfähigkeit nach dem
Ergebnis dieser Prüfung nicht gewährleistet
oder werden Schäden festgestellt, darf das
Werkzeug nicht verwendet werden. Ist die
volle Funktionsfähigkeit nicht gegeben und
das Werkzeug wird dennoch verwendet,
besteht die Gefahr von erheblichen Körper-,
Gesundheits- und Sachschäden.
• Nehmen Sie keine baulichen Veränderungen an
der Kabelbox vor.
• Keine Werkzeuge verwenden, bei denen der
Ein-/Aus-Schalter defekt ist. Werkzeuge, die
nicht mehr mit dem Ein-/Aus-Schalter ein bzw.
ausgeschaltet werden können, sind gefährlich
und müssen repariert werden.
• Alle Service- oder Reparaturarbeiten immer
durch Fachpersonal ausführen lassen. Um die
Betriebssicherheit auf Dauer zu gewährleisten,
dürfen nur Originalersatzteile verwendet wer-
den.
• Schutzvorrichtungen und/oder Gehäuseteile
dürfen nicht entfernt werden.
• Verwenden Sie das Werkzeug nie, wenn eine
Schutzabdeckung fehlt oder wenn nicht alle
Sicherheitseinrichtungen vorhanden und in ein-
wandfreiem Zustand sind.
• Aus Sicherheitsgründen sind Veränderungen an
HAZET-Werkzeugen untersagt. Die Vornahme
von Veränderungen am Gerät führt zum sofor-
tigen Haftungsausschluss.
• Halten Sie die Kabelbox von Hitzequellen fern.
• Die Kabelbox darf nicht mit nassen Händen ein-
oder ausgesteckt werden.
• Zum Ausstecken aus der Steckdose, nicht am
Kabel ziehen, sondern immer am Stecker!
• Ziehen Sie das Kabel nicht über scharfe Kanten
oder Gegenstände.
• Stellen Sie die Kabelbox an einem sicheren
und trockenen Ort auf und prüfen Sie die
Standsicherheit.
• Vermeiden Sie mechanische Belastung.
• Vermeiden Sie ein Überfahren der Leitung, oder
andere mechanische Belastungen des Kabels
und Kabelbox!
• Legen Sie das Kabel nicht in Wasser.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass bei Arbeiten im
Außenbereich nur elektrische Geräte einge-
steckt werden, die für den Außenbereich zuge-
lassen sind.
• Betreiben Sie die Kabelbox nur bei den
dafür zugelassenen und geeigneten
Umgebungsbedingungen.
• Arbeiten Sie mit der Kabelbox nicht in explosi-
onsgefährdeter Umgebung.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass einzusteckende Geräte
vorher auf AUS geschalten sind.
• Benutzen Sie die Kabelbox nicht, wenn Sie
unter dem Einfluss von Medikamenten, Alkohol
oder Drogen stehen.
• Decken Sie die Kabelbox nicht ab. Durch den
Hitzestau besteht Brandgefahr.
• Die Kabelbox ist kein Spielzeug. Halten Sie
diese von Kindern fern.
• Beachten Sie die Hinweise auf dem Typenschild.

4. Inbetriebnahme
Betreiben der Kabeltrommel
• Rollen Sie das Kabel auf die gewünschte
Länge ab. Bei einer Belastung > 1.000W
muss das Kabel vollständig abgerollt wer-
den.
• Verlegen Sie das Kabel so, dass keine
Stolperfallen entstehen.
• Stecken Sie den Netzstecker der Kabelbox
in eine ordnungsgemäß abgesicherte
Steckdose.
• Schließen Sie die gewünschten Verbraucher
an. Stellen Sie sicher, dass diese auf AUS
geschaltet sind, um ein selbstständiges
Anlaufen zu verhindern.
• Achten Sie auf die Nennleistungen der
Verbraucher, damit die max. Belastung
nicht zu hoch ist.
• Ziehen Sie beim Ausstecken der Kabelbox
aus der Steckdose am Stecker, nicht am
Kabel.
Thermoschutzschalter
Die Kabelbox verfügt über eine thermische
Abschaltung bei 56°C +/-3°C.
• Gründe für das Auslösen des
Thermoschutzschalters können sein:
- Zu hohe Hitzeeinwirkung von außen
durch direkte Sonneneinstrahlung oder
Hitzequellen in der Nähe
- Belastungsgrenzen wurden überschritten.
Die maximalen Belastungen sind im aufge-
rollten Zustand 1.000W und im abgerollten
Zustand 3.000W. (siehe Typenschild)
Wenn der Thermoschutzschalter ausgelöst
hat, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
• Trennen Sie den Netzstecker der Kabelbox
von der Steckdose.
• Stecken Sie alle Geräte aus.
• Rollen Sie das Kabel vollständig ab.
• Lassen Sie die Kabelbox vollständig abküh-
len.
• Drücken Sie den Thermoschutzschalter.
Danach können Sie die Kabelbox wiederver-
wenden.
Transport und Lagerung:
• Bei unsachgemäßem Transport oder
Lagerung kann das Gerät beschädigt wer-
den. Beachten Sie folgende Informationen:
Transport
• Stecken Sie das Kabel aus und rollen Sie
die Box vollständig auf.
• Die Kabelbox ist zum Transport mit einem
Handgriff versehen. Zum Transport hier
greifen.
Lagerung
• Trocken lagern. Vor Frost und Hitze
geschützt.
• an einem vor Staub und direkter
Sonneneinstrahlung geschützten Ort
• ggf. mit einer Hülle vor Staub schützen
• Lagertemperatur -25°C bis +50°C.

3Aufbau und Funktion
7. Störungen
• Das Gerät wurde in der Produktion mehrfach
geprüft. Sollten trotzdem Funktionsstörungen
auftauchen überprüfen Sie Ihr Gerät wie folgt:
• Prüfen Sie das Kabel auf Beschädigungen
• Überprüfen Sie ob der Netzstecker eingesteckt
ist
• Überprüfen Sie, ob der Thermoschutzschalter
aktiviert ist. (siehe Abschnitt:
Thermoschutzschalter)
• Reparaturen nur von autorisierten Personen
durchführen lassen.
• Für die Inanspruchnahme des Kundendienstes
setzen Sie sich bitte mit Ihrem Händler oder
dem HAZET-Service Center in Verbindung.
6. Wartung und Pflege
WARNUNG!
Ziehen Sie vor der Reinigung den
Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
• Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem ange-
feuchteten, fusselfreien Tuch. Achten Sie
darauf, dass keine Flüssigkeiten in das
Gehäuse eindringen oder in Kontakt mit
elektrischen Bauteilen kommen. Verwenden
Sie keine aggressiven Reinigungsmittel wie
z. B. Lösungsmittel, alkoholische Reiniger,
Reinigungssprays etc.
• Trocknen Sie das Gerät vor der Inbetriebnahme.
Innerhalb der EU weist dieses
Symbol darauf hin, dass dieses
Produkt nicht über den Hausmüll.
entsorgt werden darf.
Altgeräte enthalten wertvolle recy-
clingfähige Materialien, die einer
Verwertung zugeführt werden sollten, um der
Umwelt bzw. der menschlichen Gesundheit
nicht durch unkontrollierte Müllbeseitigung zu
schaden.
Bitte entsorgen Sie Altgeräte deshalb über
geeignete Sammelsysteme oder senden Sie
das Gerät zur Entsorgung an die Stelle, bei

3. Dangers that may arise
from the tool
Before each use, check the HAZET tool for
full functionality. Do not use the tool set if its
functionality cannot be ensured or if damage
is detected. If the tool is used when it is not in
full working order, you risk severe injuries to
persons and damage to property.
• Do not make any structural changes to the
cable box.
• Never use tools with a defective on/off switch.
Any tools that cannot be switched on or off with
the On/Off switch are dangerous and must be
repaired.
• All service or repair work must be carried out
by qualified personnel only. Only use original
spare parts so as to guarantee its long-term
operational safety.
• Safety devices and/or cover parts may not be
removed.
• Never use the tool when a protective cover is
missing or when not all of the safety devices are
fitted and in perfect working order.
• For safety reasons any modification of HAZET
tools is strictly forbidden. Any modification of
the tool will result in immediate exclusion from
warranty and liability.
• Keep the cable box away from heat sources.
• The cable box must not be inserted or removed
with wet hands.
• To unplug from the socket, do not pull the cable,
but always the plug!
• Do not pull the cable over sharp edges or
objects.
• Place the cable box in a safe and dry place and
check its stability.
• Avoid mechanical strain.
• Avoid running over the cable or other mechani-
cal strain on the cable and cable box!
• Do not place the cable in water.
• When working outdoors, make sure that only
electrical devices that are approved for outdoor
use are plugged in.
• Operate the cable box only under the approved
and suitable ambient conditions.
• Do not work with the cable box in a potentially
explosive environment.
• Make sure that devices to be plugged in are
switched to OFF beforehand.
• Do not use the cable box if you are under the
influence of medication, alcohol or drugs.
• Do not cover the cable box. There is a risk of fire
due to heat accumulation.
• The cable box is not a toy. Keep it away from
children.
• Follow the instructions on the type plate. Do not
remove the type plate
• Do not put them one behind the other!

4. Commissioning
Operating the cable drum
• Unroll the cable to the desired length. At
a load > 1,000 W the cable must be com-
pletely unrolled.
• Lay the cable in such a way that no tripping
hazards arise.
• Insert the mains plug of the cable box into a
properly fused socket.
• Connect the desired consumers. Make sure
that they are set to OFF to prevent them
from starting up by themselves.
• Pay attention to the nominal power / output
of the consumers so that the maximum load
is not too high.
• When unplugging the cable box from the
socket, pull the plug, not the cable.
Thermal protection switch
The cable box has a thermal cut-off
at 56°C +/-3°C.
• Reasons for triggering the thermal
protection switch can be:
- Too much heat from outside due to direct
sunlight or heat sources in the vicinity
- Load limits have been exceeded. The
maximum loads are 1,000 W when rolled
up and 3,000 W when unrolled. (see type
plate)
If the thermal protection switch has tripped,
proceed as follows:
• Disconnect the mains plug of the cable box
from the socket.
• Unplug all devices.
• Unroll the cable completely.
• Allow the cable box to cool down com-
pletely.
• Press the thermal protection switch.
You can then reuse the cable box.
Transport and storage:
• Improper transport or storage may damage
the tool. Note the following information:
Transport
• Unplug the cable and roll up the box com-
pletely.
• The cable box is equipped with a handle for
transport. Grip here for transport.
Storage
• Store in a dry place. Protected from frost
and heat.
• In a place protected from dust and direct
sunlight
• Protect from dust with a cover if necessary
• Storage temperature: -25 up to +50°C.

3Design and function
7. Malfunctions
• The tool has been tested several times during
production. Should malfunctions nevertheless
occur, please check your tool as follows:
• Check the cable for damage
• Check that the mains plug is plugged in
• Check that the thermal protection switch is acti-
vated. (see section: thermal protection switch)
• Repair work must be carried out exclusively by
authorised persons.
• For customer service, please contact your dis-
tributor or the HAZET Service Centre.
6. Maintenance and care
WARNING!
Pull the mains plug out of the socket
before cleaning.
• Clean the tool with a damp, lint-free cloth.
Make sure that no liquids penetrate the
housing or come into contact with electrical
components. Do not use aggressive clean-
