This product must be installed by persons competent in vehicle electrical installations
Care should be taken to ensure that water ingress cannot occur through mounting or
wiring holes
Regularly inspect the product to confirm correct operation
DO NOT allow solvents, fuels or acetone-based cleaners etc. to come into contact with
this product

Programming the Remote:
Avoid installation inside a metal surround as this will block the RF signal
Ensure that the searchlight is disconnected from the power source
Make sure that no other transmission devices are within 3m of the the remote control
unit and searchlight
Ensure that no other remote control (i.e. 7-SL007) units are programmed to the
searchlight before commencing
If another remote has been programmed; connect the 7-1027 as per the connection
instructions, then press and hold the programming button and connect the searchlight to
the power
Allow the searchlight to flash more than 4 times, then release the programming button
and disconnect the power
You can now proceed with programming the 7-1027 as the main controller
Connect the remote unit to power as per connection instructions
Press and hold the programming button on the rear of the remote unit
Reconnect power to the searchlight. The searchlight will flash 1-4 times to acknowledge
that the remote has been programmed
Release the programming button and disconnect power to the searchlight
Reconnect the power and check for correct operation
To program additional remotes; repeat the above process for the first unit, then press
and hold the programming button on the second unit within 5 seconds of programming
the first remote
The searchlight will again flash to acknowledge that programming has been successful
A searchlight can accept upto 4 programmed remote control units

Installation:
Cut a 80x80mm hole into the mounting surface so that the remote unit fits neatly in place
Use the remote unit as a template to mark the mounting hole positions. Drill the fixing
holes using a suitable sized drill bit for the screw fixings being used
Plug the wiring loom into the rear of the unit and connect the power as per connection
instructions
Attach the remote unit to the mounting surface using the screws provide or customer
supplied fixings if desired
