About this product:
Preparing recipe bases at home can be time consuming when using a traditional
knife to chop and prepare ingredients. This Large Powerful Food Chopper is an
affordable option for swift and easy chopping.
Pulsing, mincing, chopping, and ice crushing are all made simple with this high-
capacity food chopper. The stainless-steel blades are fast, efficient and powerful
enough to crush ice. The included two Litre glass chopper bowl, non-slip silicone ring
base and blades are all dishwasher safe, making clean-up quick and easy.
Enjoy two speed settings with two easy to use push buttons to control the stainless-
steel power motor, on normal and high speed, to suit your chopping needs. The two
detachable stainless-steel blades can be used single or double to further suit your
chopping needs, whether onions need chopping, meat needs mincing or nuts need

220-240 Volts.
4. Use this electrical appliance as described in this manual, any other use is not
recommended by the manufacturer and could have a detrimental effect on the
durability of the appliance and or the safety of the user.
5. Unplug the appliance from the mains supply when not in use, when removing or
attaching accessories, or before cleaning any part of the appliance.
6. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such
as: Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; farm
houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; bed
and breakfast type environments.
7. Do not use outdoors or in damp conditions.
8. Do not immerse the motor unit or the electrical cord or plug in liquids.
9. Do not use near a source of heat or on an unstable surface.

10. Ensure that the power cord does not touch any hot surface and that it does not
overhang the edge of your work surface.
11. When unplugging the power cord, hold the plug top, not the power cord. Do not
yank or pull the cord as this may damage it and eventually cause a risk of electric
shock
12. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to
the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or electrical or
mechanical adjustment.
13. Do not use attachments or accessories which are not recommended by the
manufacturer. They may cause malfunction or injury.
14. Do not attempt to replace the power cord on this appliance. This should only be
carried out by authorized service personnel with specialist tools.
15. There are no user serviceable parts in your appliance Unauthorized dismantling
or servicing will void the product warranty.
16. Do not use the appliance for any purpose not expressly specified in this manual.
17. This appliance is not intended for use by person (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capability has or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
18. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without supervision.
19. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years of age.
Getting started:
1. Unpack the product fully and either retain or dispose of the packaging safely
according to the recycling provisions in your area. When disposing of plastic bags
take care to keep them out of reach of small children. Retain the manual and the
product purchase receipt for future reference. If you pass this product on to a
third party, make sure to include this manual.
2. Examine the product using the illustrations in this manual to help you. If any
item is missing or damaged, please return contact Customer Service.
Before using this product:
1. Check that the voltage marked on the rating plate at the bottom of the appliance
is the same as the voltage in your area.
2. Disassemble the appliance. Wash the chopper bowl, the chopper lid and the top
cover in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
3. Remove the blade covers from both blades. Place the assembly faced down on a
worktop and then push the plastic housing of the blade down to release the blade
taking care not to touch the cutting surfaces.
4. Wash the blades in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly. As soon as the
blades are dry replace them in their covers for safety.

5. To replace the cover, place the blade face down on a worktop. Drop the cover over
the blade and press the cover down to secure it.
6. Unwind the power cord. Wipe the motor unit all over with a soft cloth dampened
with soapy water followed with a clean damp cloth. Dry well. Do not immerse the
motor unit, power cord or plug in water.
7. If you are not going to use the appliance straight away assemble it fully. Place the
covered blades in the jar. Now place the cover on the jar and then carefully place
the chopper body on the cover
Components:
When operating your appliance:
1. Ensure there is adequate room in the vessel.
2. Do not operate the unit with an empty bowl.
3. Do not run the appliance continuously for more than 20 seconds.
After 20 seconds of continuous use let the unit cool down to room temperature
(at least 2 minutes) before using it again.
4. The chopper blade on this appliance is sharp.
Treat it with care at all times and never allow fingers, hair; or clothing to contact
the blade.
When not in use the blade should be stored in the provided blade protector.
5. If you wish to scrape the contents of the bowl with a spatula, remove the blade
attachment first.

Preparing and filling ingredients for blending:
Cut the ingredients into 25mm (1 inch) cubes.
If the food is very solid or dry, cut the pieces into smaller cubes.
If the ingredients are very dry, you may need to add some liquid. You should never try
to reduce dry ingredients in the mini chopper.
Crushing ice: The maximum amount of ice you can crush at any one time is 8 ice cubes
(which must be no more than 20 x 20 x 20mm in size).
Assembly and operation:
Place the jar on a stable surface, free from heat and moisture and within easy reach of
a mains outlet.
1. Add the rubber ring to the underside of the chopper bowl.
2. Carefully remove the blade cover from the blade taking care not to touch the blade.
3. Insert the blade assembly onto the spindle in the chopper bowl and press it down
into place.
After the blade is in position you may insert the food.
Refer to the previous section for guidance on food preparation.
Add the second blade onto the blade assembly if required before adding the blade
assembly into the chopper bowl. Ensure both parts are locked together tightly.
4. Fill the chopper bowl with the prepared food.
Although the maximum contents of the jar are 2000ml we strongly advise that no
more than 500 ml should be processed at any one time.
Refer to the table in the section “recommended operational times” for further info.

5. The level of the food should never exceed the MAX mark
on the chopper bowl.
6. Place the chopper lid on the chopper bowl.
Position the lid over the blade assembly and check that the
blade assembly is centered and rotates freely. Ensure that
the blade is not trapped by food pieces.
7. Place the motor unit on the chopper bowl.
Rotate it slightly to make sure that it is properly centered,
and the blade is properly engaged.
If the motor is in the right place the weight of the motor
unit will press down on the blade assembly.
There is a micro switch in the base of the motor unit which
prevents the appliance from operating if the motor is not
correctly located or if it is lifted up during operation. This
is a safety feature.
Operation:
1. Place the unit on a sturdy stable worktop or table.
2. Assemble the appliance, with the food in the bowl.
3. Plug the unit into the mains supply and switch on at the mains. You must ensure
that the power cord is fully unwound.
4. The appliance has two speeds. "1" for slow speed and "2" for high speed. Hold
the unit securely and then press down on the appropriate switch at the top of
the motor unit to begin processing the food.
5. Release the pressure to switch the appliance off.
6. Operate the appliance in short bursts. Never allow the motor to run continuously
for more than 20 seconds.
7. After 20 seconds of continuous operation allow the motor to cool down to room
temperature.
It may be necessary with some foods to stop the unit and re-distribute the food before
continuing. Always unplug the appliance before removing the lid.
Pulse mode: To get finely chopped food,operate the appliance with the regular
chopper blade for several short presses at high speed "2".

Reccomended operational times:
Removing the food
1. Disconnect the appliance from the mains.
2. Remove the motor unit and top cover.
3. Remove the blade and place it in a secure location before spooning out the food.
After use:
1. Unplug the appliance.
2. If the motor is warm, allow it to cool fully.
3. Remove the motor unit and the top cover.
4. Lift the blade out and place it in a secure location.
5. Spoon out the contents from the bowl.
Care and cleaning:
1. Wash the bowl, top cover and blade in warm soapy water and wipe dry.
Take care when handling the blade.
Parts which are dishwasher safe are the chopper bowl, chopper lid, sealing ring
ring in the lid, blade attachments.
2. The cover has a sealing ring under the upper lip.
Always check after use to ensure that the ring is
completely clean and that no particles have adhered
under the ring. To clean the ring, remove it carefully,
wash it in warm soapy water and dry it before
replacing it in the lid. Never operate the unit with a
soiled or missing sealing ring.
3. Wipe the motor unit: all over with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water
followed with a clean damp cloth. Dry well. Do not immerse the motor unit, mains
cable or plug in water.

4. After cleaning: Assemble the appliance for storage. Place the covered blades in
the jar. Now place the cover on the jar and then carefully place the chopper body
on the cover.
5. Loosely coil the power cord and store the appliance in a dry cool cupboard out of
the reach of children and pets.
Environment/disposal:
At the end of its working life, do not throw this appliance out with your household
rubbish. Electrical and electronic products contain substances which can have a
detrimental effect on the environment and human health if disposed of
inappropriately. Observe any local regulations regarding the disposal of electrical
consumer goods and dispose of the unit appropriately for recycling. Contact your local
authorities for advice about recycling facilities in your area.
