ously (i.e., the transmitter's range has decreased) or the
remotereceiver doesnotfunction atall,the batteriesshould
be checked. The transmitter can function with as little as 9
voltsof remaining powerbeforethe system willnotoperate.

orinstallationtotheoriginalpurchasertobefreefromdefectsinmaterialsandworkmanship.DamagetotheSYSTEM
caused by accident, misuse, abuse, or installation error, whether performed by a contractor, service company, or
owner, is not covered by this warranty. Hearth Technologies, Inc. will not be responsible for labor charges and/or
damage incurred in installation, repair, replacement or for incidental or consequential damages. Batteries and any
damage caused by them are not covered by this warranty.

INSTALLATION
1. PlugtheRC-ELECreceiverintoapolarized/grounded110-
120VAC wall outlet.
2. Plug the electrical service cord from electric fireplace
into the outlet on the bottom of the receiver.
3. Set the ON/OFF switch on the electric fireplace to the
'ON'position.
4. After removing the battery tab on the transmitter, you
may press the ON or OFF buttons on the transmitter to
controltheoperationoftheelectricheater fireplace.
