3. featureS and SIze / caratterIStIche emISure
STILE 280H SET is composed of a 280mm
Mini-shotgun Super-Cardioid Microphone and a
solid and robust 750g (26.45oz.) microphone base
in die-cast for maximum stability even in the case
of accidental bumps on the microphone.
The solid connection of the microphone to the
base is made by a 3-pin CESS Aviation connector
with safety thread, which eliminates any move-
ments of the microphone during placement or
direction adjustment.
The base is shielded against radio frequency inter-
ferences (RFI), has a switch with electronic touch,
and oers internal 3V Phantom power or accepts
10V-48V external Phantom Power.
The mini-shotgun microphone with super-cardioid
polar pattern is specically suitable for meetings
and conferences with dicult acoustic conditions.
The result is superior voice capture and lower
pickup of room noise. The bend at bottom allows
precise placement.
Lo STILE 280H SET è composto da un microfono
super-cardioide da 280 mm mini-shotgun e una
solida e robusta base in 750g (26.45oz.) di metallo
pressofuso, per la massima stabilità anche in caso
di urti accidentali sul microfono.
La connessione del microfono alla base è realizzato
con connettore CESS Aviation a 3-pin con ghiera
di sicurezza, che elimina qualsiasi movimento del
microfono durante il posizionamento o la regola-
zione della direzione.
La base è schermata schermatura contro le interfe-
renze radio (RFI), ha un interruttore touch, e ore
l’alimentazione Phantom interna a 3V o accetta
quella esterna da 10V a 48V.
Il microfono a collo d’oca mini-shotgun con rispo-
sta super-cardioide è molto adatto ad applicazioni
quali riunioni e conferenze in condizioni acustiche
dicili. Il risultato è una ottima ripresa vocale e
un basso rientro dei rumori della stanza. Lo snodo
consente un puntamento preciso.

5.1. Battery Installation / Inserimento Batterie
yUse 2x 1.5V AAA-Type Alkaline Batteries (not
included).
yOpen the cover on base bottom.
yInsert the batteries following the “+” (plus) and
“-“ (minus) signs shown inside the battery slot.
yClose the cover.
yUsare 2 batterie alcaline da 1.5V tipo AAA (non
incluse).
yAprire il coperchio sul fondo della base.
yInserire le batterie seguendo i segni “+” (più) e
“-” (meno) mostrati nel vano porta batterie.
yChiudere il coperchio.
5.2. Microphone Installation
NOTE: Before connecting the base
output to your sound system, be sure
that it is switched off or the amplifier
volume is to minimum.
yConnect the supplied audio cable from the
mini-XLR behind the base to the mixer or sound
system.
yTurn on the amplier; switch the microphone on
by pressing the button on the base (green LED
should turn on).
yAdjust the amplier volume slowly until achieve
the best level.
NOTA: Prima di collegare l’uscita della
base all’impianto audio, assicuratevi
che sia spento o l’amplificatore abbia
il volume al minimo.
yCollegare il cavo audio in dotazione dall’uscita
mini-XLR dietro la base al mixer o al sistema
audio.
yAccendere l’amplicatore. Accendere il microfo-
no premendo il pulsante sulla base (LED verde
acceso).
yAumentare il volume dell’amplicatore lenta-
mente no a raggiungere il livello desiderato.
5.3. Wiring Connections / Piedinatura Connettori
Both XLR and mini-XLR connectors report numbers
near each pin. Wiring has direct correspondence
between both connectors (e.g. ground is pin 1 on
both XLR and mini-XLR; in-phase signal is pin 2 on
both; and so on).
I connettori XLR e Mini-XLR riportano dei numeri

All HELVIA® products are covered by warranty
according to European regulations (2 years in the
case of purchase by private person - B2C; 1 year
in the case of purchase by company - B2B). The
warranty is valid from the date of purchase by the
end user (private individual or company), indicated
in the purchase document (receipt in the case of
private person; invoice in the case of company).
The following cases / components are not covered
by the above warranty:
yAll accessories supplied with the product;
yImproper use;
yFailure due to wear and tear;
yAny unauthorized modication of the product
by the user or third parties.
HELVIA must meet the warranty obligations due
to any non-compliant materials or manufacturing
defects, by remedying free of charge at HELVIA’s
discretion by either repairing or replacing specic
parts or the entire equipment.
