Hemway smart water softener is a series of soft water products developed for
the easy scaling and yellowing of light industrial water. This series of products can
remove floating matter, suspended solids, calcium and magnesium ions in the water,
and effectively avoid scaling of water products, yellowing and yellowing of effluent.

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Note: The regeneration cycle is calculated based on the hardness of 150mg/L.
Different water quality and usage habits will lead to different regeneration cycles.
This product is controlled by an intelligent system, fully automatic operation,
convenient and simple to use; at the same time, this product has a patented technol-
ogy-the salting prompt function, which is fully guaranteed, and brings users a
high-quality experience.
1. To ensure the normal use of the product, please ask professional installation or
maintenance personnel to confirm before use.
2. Any plumbing and electrical work must be done by professionals during installation.
3. A It is strictly forbidden to use this equipment in unsafe or unknown water quality
places.
4. The parameters of each process of softening should be revised in time according to
the changes of working conditions and the requirements of water output.
5. When the cycle water volume is too low, please check the condition of the resin. If the
amount of resin is too small, it needs to be added; if the resin is red or broken, it needs
to be replaced in time.
6. During , the water quality should be checked periodically to ensure the normal opera-
tion of the system.to be replaced in time.
7. The sodium used in the softening process of water treatment is regarded as part of
the edible salt. If you are a person with limited sodium intake, please contact your
doctor.
8. When using this equipment, please make sure that there is always solid salt in the salt
tank during use. The salt tank should be filled with coarse crystalline salt with a purity of
at least 99.5%. The use of fine salt is strictly prohibited.
9. Do not put the equipment near a heat source or high humidity, corrosive, strong
magnetic field, strong vibration, etc., or expose it directly outdoors.
10. Please use this product within the range of water temperature of 5~50℃ and water
pressure of 0.15-0.5MPa. Failures or accidents caused by using this product outside this
range are not covered by our company’s responsibility and warranty.
11. If the water inlet pressure is greater than 0.5MPa, a pressure reducing valve must be
installed at the water inlet end; when the water inlet pressure is lower than 0.15MPa, an
additional pump should be installed at the water inlet end.
12. It is recommended to use PPR pipes, corrugated pipes or UPVC pipes for pipeline
installation, and avoid using aluminum-plastic pipes.
13. Do not let children touch or play near the equipment, accidentally touching the
operation keys may cause the program to change.
14. When the power cord and power adapter attached to this product are damaged, the
company's factory power supply and power adapter must be replaced.

·Softening principle
Through the principle of ion exchange, the softening resin in the softening tank uses
sodium ions (Na+) in the resin to exchange calcium (Ca2+) and magnesium ions (Mg2+)
in the water to achieve the effect of removing hardness and softening water quality.
The softened resin that has reached the regeneration cycle uses sodium ions in the
brine to replace the calcium and magnesium ions in the resin to restore the softening
ability of the resin, and the replaced calcium and magnesium ions are discharged with
water.
•Basic Setup
This product comes standard with pre-filter, softening tank, salt tank,
water tank
1. Pre-filter: pre-treat the water entering the softener to remove particles and impurities
in the water to avoid affecting the softening effect and the quality of the effluent.
2. Softening tank: remove calcium and magnesium ions in water to soften water quality.
3. Salt tank: store soft water salt and water for resin regeneration.
4. Water tank: store softened water for use by water equipment.

When the "lock" light is on, it means the keyboard is locked. Pressing any key alone will not
work. (In any state, when the keys are not operated within one minute, the "lock" lights up
to lock the keyboard)
Press the "menu" key in the working state to enter the setting item menu state, select the
setting item to query the parameter value.
Press the "Return" button in the working state to end the current working state in advance
and move to the next working position. (For example: when the water hardness is unquali-
fied, you can unlock it and press the "Return" button to end the operation and proceed.
An instant regeneration. During the regeneration process, if you want to end a stop in
advance, press the "Return" button to enter the next step).
Press the "Return" button to return to the menu state in the query state; press the button
in the setting state to return to the menu state.
When modifying parameters in the setting state, press the "Return" button to return to the
menu state without saving the set parameters
In the menu state, press "Down" or "Up" continuously to scroll up or down each setting
channel.
In the setting state, continuously press "Down" or "Up" to scroll up or down to adjust each
value.
Press the "down" and "up" and two keys at the same time for 5 seconds to unlock the
locked keyboard.
Press the "menu" key in the setting item query state, the data flashes, enter the setting
state, and the parameter values can be modified.
After setting, press the "Menu" button, the buzzer will beep once, and the setting is
successful and return to the menu state.
How to unlock: press and hold the "up" and "down" keys at the same time for about 5
seconds until it disappears.
