Product description
The dip tank is applied in food packaging processes. Food products are usually packed in
shrink bags closed by a sealing process. The food packaging can also include a vacuum
process for food preservation. After the packaging process, food products are placed into
the dip tank with warm water in which the shrink bag will smoothly shrink around the food
product. The main objectives for the dip tank shrinking process is to shrink the plastic flaps
from the packaging material around the food product in order to enhance the product
packaging presentation and to make the product handling and distribution process easier.
Safety
General
All people responsible for control must at least fully read and
comprehend the chapters on control and safety of these operating
instructions.
All people responsible for the assembly, installation, maintenance
and/or repair must read and comprehend all these operating
instructions.
The user is responsible for the interpretation and use of this manual in
all circumstances. Please contact the supervisor in case of questions or
doubts about the correct interpretation.
This user manual must be kept in the proximity of the machine and must
be easily accessible to users.
All major services, adaptations to the line and any remarks must be kept
in a log.
No changes to the installation may be made without written permission
of the supplier.
Please contact the manufacturer for special maintenance adjustments
that are not included in this user manual.
Always meet the safety requirements as indicated in this chapter.
The correct functioning and safety of the system can only be
guaranteed if the recommended maintenance is carried out on time and
correctly.
The guarantee and / or liability expires if damage is caused by repairs
and/or changes not made by an authorized distributors.
In the case of malfunctions contact the supplier.
High pressure cleaning is not permitted. This can cause damage to
electronics and other parts.
The working space around the installation must be safe. The installation’s
owner has to take the necessary safety precautions that are required to be
able to operate the installation safely.
It is prohibited to start the installation in an area with a danger of
explosion.
The installation was developed for safe production under normal

environmental circumstances.
The installation’s owner must ensure that the instructions of this user
manual are followed.
The safety protection devices present may not be removed.
The correct operation and safety of the system can only be guaranteed
if the maintenance is carried out correctly and on time as prescribed.
If any work has to be carried out on the installation, the installation must
be disconnected and locked from the power supply.
During operation several parts of the machine will be very hot. The user is
responsible for carry out precautions to avoid injuries.
During operation hot water may splash. Take precautions to avoid injuries.

voltage parts.
Ensure through internal procedures and surveillance that all applicable
power supplies are switched off.
The installation may not be used during inspection and maintenance
and the main switch needs to be turned off and blocked.
For repairs or maintenance to the electrical circuit, switch off the main
power supply and block it.
Never carry out any welding work on the installation without
disconnecting the cable connection to the electrical components first.
Never use the power supply of the control cabinet to connect other
machines.
All electrical connections have to be connected to the terminal strips
according to the electrical diagram.
During normal use
Before starting up the installation, make sure that no work is being carried
out on the installation and it is ready for use.
Unauthorised persons are not allowed to enter the installation area.
Ensuring this is the task of the machine operator(s).

Install and connect the machine
Turn the knob at the arm to release this. Pull it up to the desired height and turn it to
the right so it is not above the tank. Then tighten the knob again.
Make sure the tap at the back of the machine is closed. Manually fill the tank with de-
chalked water. Use de-chalked water, this to prevent unnecessary problems with
scurf.
Make sure the water level is at least 200mm.
Turn main switch on the back of the machine to the ON-position.
Switch the machine on, using the working-switch.
Check the rotation direction of the motor. If the motor turns in the wrong direction, the
platform will not move. To change the direction, interchange two phases in the
powerconnector.
Open the operation box and set the desired temperature for the water; see “Setting
of desired temperature”.
Operation procedure
Place packaged products on the platform.
Hold the start button for 1 second. The platform with products will now automatically
descend into the water and rise again. The whole process takes approximately 3
seconds.
Take the products from the platform and this procedure can start again.
Setting of desired temperature
Press the “SET” button twice.
The adjusted temperature is displayed.
The shown value can be changed with help of the “UP” or “DOWN” button.
If no buttons are used within 10 seconds, the control unit will switch back to the
normal operating mode; the last entered temperature will be stored in the memory.
If the correct temperature is displayed, you have to push the “ON/OFF” or “FNC”
button twice to store the new value into the memory of the temperature control unit.

Drain the watertank
Switch the machine off.
After the water is cooled down, open the tap. The water is flowing out of the dip tank.
Maintenance
Clean the tank and platform regulary. Check the heating elements and temperature
sensor for scurf and dirt. (use descaler)
Clean the sliding rod regulary so that the platform will move smoothly.
Check monthly the proper function of the floating element.

Productbeschrijving
