SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Thank you for choosing the HH Simonsen Nourishing Styler
– a luxury styling iron that reconstructs and protects your
hair as you style.
How Does It Work?
Fill the iron’s reservoir with HH Simonsen Keratin Fuel. While
you’re styling the heat transforms the liquid into a keratin
enriched vapor that rebuilds your hair’s keratin level. Keratin
makes up about 85% of your hair and it’s vital to the health
of the hair. But keratin levels are weakened by the sun, heat,
coloring and other styling treatments, so the infusion of new
keratin will immediately strengthen and repair your hair,
leaving it healthier, smoother and shinier.
Product Information
The HH Simonsen Nourishing Styler has a maximum
temperature of 230°C which makes it one of the most
powerful styling irons available. The quick heat feature
makes it ready for use in less than 8 seconds and the iron
will keep a consistent temperature because of its advanced
double ceramic heating plates.
The styling iron’s temperature is adjustable from 150-230°C
(high), so it can be set to match any type of hair.
The heating plates are equipped with ‘Triple Protection’
based on ionic technology and ‘Far Infrared’ technology that
helps contain moisture and natural etheric oils in the hair. It
also ensures optimum straightening and effective protection
of the hair. Because of a special nano-coating on the heating
plates the iron will easily glide through the hair as you style –
and the hair will be straightened aer just one stroke.
Aer 60 minutes of use, the styling iron will automatically turn
to ‘sleep mode’ and cool down the plates for security reasons.
A 3 meter long and tangle-free swivel cord makes the iron easy
to work with, no matter where your power outlet is placed.

Instructions
Read this before using your new HH Simonsen
Nourishing Styler!
How to use the Nourishing Styler
1. Plug the appliance into a power socket (220 V). The
indicator light will show red.
2. Press the ON-button.
3. Use the temperature control and select your desired
temperature setting. While heating, the green light will
flash. When the styler has reached your selected operating
temperature, the green light will remain lit. (Note! See
below for more info on temperature settings.)
4. Prolonged heat impact may damage the hair, so make
sure to move the styling iron steadily.
5. To turn the appliance off, push the on/off button.
Remember to unplug the appliance and let it cool down
before storing. (Notice that the styler will go to ‘sleep
mode’ automatically aer 60 minutes of use.)
Temperature setting
Turn on the styling iron and set a temperature between 150-
230°C. The hair can be damaged if the temperature is too
high, so we recommend that you set the temperature as low
as possible. Start off low and move forward depending on
the hair structure.
RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE SETTINGS
Fine/chemically treated hair 150°C
Medium/normal hair 170°C
Thick hair 180°C
Very thick or coarse hair 200 - 230°C
Filling the reservoir
1. Release the reservoir using the ‘TANK’-button and remove
it from the appliance.
2. Turn over the reservoir. The flat side must be upwards.
Open the cap.
3. Fill the reservoir (13 ml.) with HH Simonsen Keratin Fuel.
4. Replace the rubber cap.
5. Turn over the reservoir and snap it back onto the styler.
A small ‘click’ lets you know that the reservoir is in place.
6. You can adjust the volume of Keratin Fuel diffused by the
styler. On the back of the iron there’s a button that can be
set at two different positions.
Please note!
NEVER fill up the styling iron with water or other liquids. It
may cause damage to the styler, and the damages will not
be covered by the warranty.
Do not adjust the Nourishing Styler so that it doesn’t diffuse
Keratin Fuel during use. That may also cause damage to the
styling iron.
Important: If you do not use the appliance for longer
than 5 days, please remove the reservoir, empty it and
store it separately.

Cleaning the HH Simonsen Nourishing Styler
The heating plates must be cleaned regularly, removing dirt,
grease and styling product that may have been burnt-on. Use
a dampened cotton cloth, optionally with a small amount of
soap dissolved in the water.
We also recommend using cleaning products designed for
glass ceramic cooktops. Never use petrol spirits or other
abrasive cleaning substances. Avoid scratching the surface
of the plates while cleaning them. Such scratches will not be
covered by the warranty.
Please note: The heating plates must be completely cold
before they are cleaned. Aerwards the styler must be
completely dry before it is used again. Wait at least 1 hour
aer cleaning the styler before you turn it on again.
Notice!
During use parts of the styler may show a slight change
of color. Especially on the plastic surfaces surrounding the
heating plates and other parts that is affected by the heat.
Such color changes are not covered by the warranty.
Disposal
Electronic appliances must be disposed of according to the
relevant rules and regulations.
Disposal as a private individual
Electronic equipment contains materials, components and
substances that can be harmful to human
health and to the environment if it is not disposed of
correctly. Products marked with the WEEE
symbol (a crossed-over garbage can) are classified as
electronic equipment and cannot be disposed
as unsorted household waste.
Disposal as a company
All companies must hand in its electronic waste at the local
recycling centre.
WEEE
WEEE is short for ‘Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equip-
ment’. The abbreviation is used commonly throughout the EU.

STYLING TIPS
Smooth Look
Divide the hair into small sections. The thinner the section,
the more intense is the result.
Carefully place the section between the heating plates.
Begin with the lower sections. Now draw the styler from the
hairline to the tip. Never stop for more than 2 seconds at
any point.
If you have curly hair you can repeat the process to a
maximum of 3 times for a better result.
Curly Look
Set the temperature on the Nourishing Styler between 180
and 200°C. If you have thin or bleached hair the temperature
should be a bit lower. Comb your hair through and divide it
into sections of approximately 2 cm in width. The thinner the
section, the more intense and durable is the result. Now draw
the styler from the hairline to the tip. Place the styler as close to
the hairline as possible and slide down through the hair while
at the same time you wrap the hair around the iron and rotate it
180 degrees. Use your fingers to define the final details.

read the following instructions carefully.
This will safeguard you from possible hazards and prevent
the appliance from
damage caused by incorrect operation.
Always operate according to the instructions. HH Simonsen
is not liable for any direct or indirect damage caused by
misuse or lack of maintenance of the product.
Any damage to individuals or items caused by misuse will
not justify a compensation.
Explanation of terms
The following designations are used in the safety
instructions:
Danger = High risk!
Failure to comply with this warning can be fatal or may
result in serious injury.
Ignoring the instructions displaying this warning can kill,
seriously injure and/or
damage the appliances.
Attention = Medium risk
Failure to comply with this warning may result in injury or
damage to property.
Note = Low risk
This information should be taken into account when handling
the appliance.
Danger
• Only use the HH Simonsen Nourishing Styler to style real
hair. Do not use it on artificial or animal hair. Do not use the
heating elements to dry objects.
• The appliance must never be used in the bath, shower or
over a filled washbasin or other container containing liquid.
• The Nourishing Styler is an electronic appliance and
contact with water can damage it and/or cause injury. The
styler must always be kept dry.
• The appliance must not be operated with wet hands.
• Do not use the styler on dripping wet hair.
• When connected to the power supply, never leave the styler
unattended.
• Check if the main voltage is in line with the voltage
specified on the appliance.
• Electrical appliances should be kept away from children.
Children should not be allowed to use or play with the
appliance or the product’s packaging.
• Arrange the power chord in a way that it will not cause an
obstruction or can be tripped over.
• Protect the power cord from damage. Never pull on the
power cord. Hold the power plug when removing it from
the power socket.
• Clean the product with a slightly dampened cloth (not wet).
Always disconnect the product from the power supply
before cleaning and ensure that the unit has cooled down.
• To prevent possible overheating, never place towels or
similar such items over or under the appliance.
• Do not attempt to repair the product or the connection
cable by yourself.
Never switch on the appliance when:
• The appliance or the power lead is damaged.
• The device has been dropped or shows visible damage to
such an extent that electrical parts are exposed.

The product must be unplugged when:
• A defect occurs during operation
• You wish to clean the appliance
• The styler is turned off and/or is not being used.
Attention
• Risk of burns! Do not let bare skin come into contact with
the heating plates during or aer use until the plates have
cooled down.
• HH Simonsen Nourishing Styler is made of electronics and
plastic and should be treated with care. Avoid dropping or
throwing the styler and do not break parts apart. Do not place
the styler near sources of extreme heat, for example cooktops.
• The power cord should not be allowed to come in contact
with the heating plates or other sources of heat that might
cause the cord’s isolation to melt.
• Do not wind the cord around the styler. It might cause the
cord to break.
• When in operation, only place the appliance down on firm,
heat-resistant surfaces.
• Make sure that the appliance has completely cooled down
before storing away.
• Remove the power plug from the outlet when you are
done using the styler. Never leave the styler turned on or
connected to power.
• Do not use the styler with an extension cord.
• This appliance is designed for use indoors only. Do not use
outdoors.
• During use move the styler constantly and steadily.
Otherwise the high temperature can cause damage to the
hair.
• Never use petrol spirits or other abrasive cleaning
substances.
• Do not use several electrical styling irons on the same power
outlet.
• Do not pull the power plug from the outlet with unnecessary
force.
• If the cord or the plug turns hot, immediately turn off the
appliance and place it down on a heat-resistant surface.
• Do not use the appliance near combustible gases, e.g.
directly in the airflow of sprays, aerosols and styling foams.
• During use the styler can get hot and it might be necessary to
wear heat-resistant gloves.
• Never touch an eye or other delicate body parts with a hot
styling iron. It can cause severe burns.
• Children must be kept under supervision when the styler is
being used.
• If the styler or the power cord is damaged NEVER try to repair
it yourself. Hand in the styler to the place of purchase. They
will make sure that the appliance is analyzed and repaired
safely and correctly by an authorized technician.
Note
This styling iron has been designed for professional use. Only
use it in an environment comparable to that of a professional
hairdresser. The styler cannot be used outdoors, in damp
rooms or at temperatures below 10°C.

WARRANTY
This product is guaranteed against any manufacturer
defects, faulty workmanship or faulty material for 24
months aer date of purchase.
If there is a problem with your styling iron, please hand it in
to the place of purchase. Remember to bring your receipt or
other proof of purchase.
Please note: This guarantee is only valid if the appliance has
been operated in strict accordance with the safety instructions.
Warranty exclusions:
• Damage caused by normal wear and tear including chips,
scratches, abrasions, discoloration or fading and damage
to the power cord.
• Damage caused by careless or improper transportation.
• Damage caused by misuse of improper voltage and
current.
• Damage caused by negligence, carelessness, disassembly
or dropping.
• Damage caused by repair or alteration which is not
performed by the original manufacturer or its authorized
agent.
• Any other damage which by judgment is not defective by
materials or workmanship.
• Damage to plates not caused by production faults or
workmanship.
• Damage caused by fuel other than the original
HH Simonsen Keratin Fuel.
HH Simonsen cannot be held responsible for damaged hair
or hair extensions caused by a wrong temperature setting or
misuse of the appliance.
All complaints regarding the product should be accompanied
by the original purchase receipt and addressed to your retail
outlet or HH Simonsen vendor.

Hvordan virker det?
Styleren fyldes med HH Simonsen Keratin Fuel. Ved brug
omdannes væsken til en keratinholdig damp, der tilføres
håret, mens du styler. Håret består i forvejen af ca. 85%

Brugsanvisning
Læs dette før du bruger din nye HH Simonsen Nourishing
Styler første gang!
Brug af HH Simonsen Nourishing Styler
1. Sæt ledningen i stikkontakten. Når der er strøm på
styleren, tænder en rød lampe.
2. Tænd styleren med et tryk på ON-knappen.
3. Justér temperaturen på temperaturknappen. En grøn
lampe blinker, mens stylingjernet varmer op. Når den
ønskede temperatur er opnået, vil den grønne lampe lyse
konstant. (Vigtigt! Læs mere om temperaturindstilling
nedenfor.)
4. Vedvarende varmepåvirkning kan skade håret, så træk
altid styleren igennem håret i en jævn bevægelse.
5. Styleren slukkes ved at sætte knappen på “OFF”.
Husk at tage stikket ud af stikkontakten. (Bemærk:
Efter 60 minutters brug vil stylingjernet automatisk gå
i “sleep mode”.)
Temperaturindstilling
Tænd for styleren og indstil temperaturen mellem 150-230° C.
Da håret kan tage skade af for høj temperatur, anbefales det
at benytte en så lav temperatur som muligt. Start lavt og
prøv dig frem i forhold til hårtypen.
ANBEFALEDE TEMPERATURINDSTILLINGER
Fint eller kemisk behandlet hår 150°C
Normalt hår 170°C

Meget kraigt eller kruset hår 200 - 230°C
Påfyldning af væske
1. Løsn tanken fra selve styleren. Brug TANK-knappen.
2. Vend tanken, så den flade side vender opad. Åbn dereer
dækslet.
3. Indsæt studsen fra HH Simonsen Keratin Fuel-flasken i
hullet, og påfyld væsken (13 ml.).
4. Luk hullet til med gummiforseglingen, når tanken er fuld.
5. Vend tanken og sæt den tilbage på styleren. Et lille “klik”
indikerer, at tanken sidder korrekt.
6. Mængden af Keratin Fuel, der tilføres håret, kan justeres i
to niveauer. Under bunden af den nederste tang finder du
en knap, der kan stilles på to positioner.
Bemærk!
Fyld ALDRIG vand eller andre flydende væsker på styleren,
da det kan ødelægge den, og skaderne vil ikke være dækket
af garantien!
Styleren må aldrig indstilles, så den ikke udskiller Keratin
Fuel under brug, da dette også kan forårsage skader på
styleren.
Vigtigt: Opbevares styleren i mere end 5 dage uden at
blive brugt, skal fuel-beholderen ernes, tømmes og
opbevares særskilt fra stylingjernet.

Rengøring af HH Simonsen Nourishing Styleren
Varmepladerne skal rengøres jævnligt for snavs, fedt,
stylingprodukter o.lign., som brænder sig fast på styleren
under brug. Brug en hårdt opvredet bomuldsklud, evt.
opvredet i en let sæbeopløsning.
Det kan også anbefales at bruge renseprodukter til
glaskeramiske komfurer. Brug aldrig benzin, fortynder eller
anden kemi til at rengøre styleren. Vær opmærksom på at
undgå at ridse i pladernes overflade under rengøringen.
Sådanne ridser dækkes ikke af garantien.
Bemærk: Pladerne skal være helt kolde, inden de rengøres.
Eerfølgende skal styleren være helt tør, inden den
anvendes igen. Vent mindst 1 time eer afsluttet rengøring,
før du tænder stylingjernet igen.
Bemærk!
Ved brug kan styleren ændre farve på plastikoverfladerne
omkring varmepladerne og andre steder, der bliver påvirket af
varmen. Eventuelle farveændringer er ikke omfattet af garantien.
Bortskaffelse
Elektriske apparater skal bortskaffes i overensstemmelse

STYLINGTIPS
Tips til glatning af håret
Opdel håret i små sektioner, som gennemarbejdes med
styleren stykke for stykke. Clips først alt håret ind. Start
hereer i de nederste inddelinger med at lade styleren
arbejde sig ud gennem håret i en jævn bevægelse. Hvis du
har krøllet hår, trækkes styleren gennem håret op til max. 3
gange for det bedste resultat.
Tips til at lave krøller i håret
Indstil temperaturen på din Nourishing Styler til mellem
180 og 200°C. Ved fint eller blonderet hår benyttes dog en

lavere temperatur. Friser håret godt igennem, og inddel
håret med clips. Start nu med at krølle håret fra roden mod
spidsen. Stylingjernet lukkes om håret, hvoreer det vendes
180 grader op eller ned, mens styleren trækkes langsomt
mod hårspidserne. Brug til sidst fingrene til at definere det
endelige resultat.

aldrig i ledningen, men frigør stikket fra stikkontakten ved
at trække i selve stikket.
• Rengør HH Simonsen Nourishing Styleren ved en hårdt
opvredet (ikke våd) klud. Sørg altid for, at styleren ikke er
sat til strøm eller er varmt, når den skal rengøres.
• Undgå brandfare. Placér aldrig den tændte HH Simonsen
Nourishing Styler i nærheden af håndklæder, tekstiler
eller andre brandbare materialer.
• Forsøg aldrig selv at reparere HH Simonsen Nourishing
Styleren eller dens ledning.
Tænd aldrig for HH Simonsen Nourishing Styleren når:
• Styleren eller ledningen er beskadiget.
• Styleren har været tabt og/eller der er synlige tegn på
skader, såsom blottede elektriske dele.
Fjern ledningen fra stikkontakten såfremt:
• Styleren er defekt under brug.
• Styleren skal rengøres.
• Styleren står på “OFF” og/eller ikke bruges.
Bemærk
• Risiko for forbrænding! Kontakt med huden kan forårsage
brændemærker. Varmelegemerne er varme et stykke tid
eer endt brug.
• HH Simonsen Nourishing Styler er lavet af elektronik og
plastik og bør behandles forsigtigt. Undgå at tabe eller
kaste styleren og bræk ikke delene fra hinanden. Lad ikke
styleren komme i forbindelse med meget varme kilder
som f.eks. kogeplader.
• Ledningen må ikke ligge på varme overflader, som kan
forårsage nedsmeltning af ledningens isoleringslag.
• Rul ikke ledningen rundt om styleren, da ledningen kan
knække.
• Under brug skal styleren placeres på en fast, ikke-
brændbar overflade.
• Styleren skal altid nedkøle, inden den pakkes sammen til
opbevaring.
• Eer endt brug skal stylerens stik ernes fra stikkontakten.
Eerlad aldrig styleren tændt eller tilsluttet stikkontakten.
• Anvend ikke en forlængerledning til styleren.
• Styleren er designet til indendørs brug. Anvend ikke
styleren udendørs.
• Styleren skal under brug være i konstant bevægelse.
Hvis ikke kan håret blive ødelagt pga. den meget høje
temperatur.
• Brug aldrig benzin, fortynder eller anden kemi til rengøring
af styleren.
• Brug ikke flere elektriske stylingjern på samme
stikkontakt.
• Træk ikke stikket ud af stikkontakten med unødvendig
styrke.
• Hvis ledningen eller stikket bliver varmt, sluk straks for
apparatet og læg det fra dig på en ikke-brandbar overflade.
• Brug ikke styleren i nærheden af ild eller andre
let antændelige materialer såsom benzin, gas,
fortyndervæsker, linolie, sprays etc.
• Under brug vil styleren blive varm, og det kan være nødvendigt
at beskytte hænderne med handsker, som tåler varme.
• Sæt aldrig den varme styler direkte ind på et øje eller andre
sarte kropsdele. Dette kan forårsage brandskader.
• Styleren må ikke anvendes, når der er børn til stede, som
ikke er under opsyn.

• Hvis styleren eller ledningen bliver beskadiget, må du på
ingen måde selv forsøge at reparere disse dele. Styleren
skal indleveres til købsstedet, som vil sørge for, at en
autoriseret tekniker analyserer og reparerer apparatet på
en forsvarlig og faglig korrekt måde.
Note
Denne styler er designet til professionelt brug. Brug derfor
kun styleren i det miljø, en professionel frisør ville gøre.
Styleren må ikke anvendes udendørs eller i vådrum samt
ved temperaturer under 10°C.
GARANTIBESTEMMELSER
Garantien på dette produkt dækker enhver producentfejl,
defekt produktion eller materialefejl i 24 måneder eer
købsdatoen.
Opstår der problemer med dit stylingjern, skal det indleveres
hos forhandleren. Husk at medbringe kvittering eller andet
købsbilag.
Bemærk: Stylingjern der ikke er vedligeholdt eer
manualens anvisninger er ikke omfattet af garantien.
Garantien omfatter ikke:
• Skader som skyldes normal slitage såsom ridser på
pladerne, ridser på plastikdelene, farveændringer eller skade
på ledningen.
• Skader som skyldes upassende forsendelse.
• Skader som skyldes forkert spænding og strømtilslutning.
• Skader som skyldes tab af apparatet, slag eller lignende.
• Skader som skyldes egne reparationer eller reparationer
udført af en ikke-autoriseret reparatør.
• Skader som med vores skøn ikke er produktionsfejl.
• Skader på plader, som ikke kan henvises til produktionsfejl.
• Skader opstået som følge af, at der er blevet påfyldt andre
væsker end HH Simonsen Keratin Fuel.
HH Simonsen tager intet ansvar for ødelagt hår eller
hårextensions på grund af fejljusteret temperatur eller
forkert brug af apparatet.
Alle reklamationer vedrørende produktet skal ledsages af
den originale kvittering og sendes til din leverandør.
