Using your iGlucose®
Tips for accurate results
Wash and dry your hands before preparing for each test
Only use iGlucose test strips from a vial
at was opened under 3 mons ago
Tip: When you first open a vial of test strips, write
e date on it so you know when to discard it
Follow your doctor’s instructions
for when to take your blood glucose
Do regular quality control tests (see user manual)

Grab your iGlucose lancing
device, a sterile lancet, and your
vial of iGlucose test strips. Press
and hold e button to power
on e device.
Press and hold to power
on e device. You may need
to charge e device (takes
2-3 hours to fully charge),
en unplug before using.
When you see and “Apply
a drop of blood” on e screen,
place your pierced finger on e
top of e test strip. The entire
line on e test strip should
change from yellow to red. If your
blood sample doesn’t fill e line,1
remove e lancet and start again.
The meter will count down from
5, en display your result. You’ll
see “Reading transmitted and
recorded” when it has been
sent to your Care Everyday
Care Manager.2
Press to choose if
you’re taking your blood
glucose test before eating or
if you’re taking it wiin two
hours of eating.
Your test is complete! Please see
e user manual for instructions
on removing and discarding
used lancets and test strips.
Grab a test strip and insert it into
e meter from e right wi e
arrow pointing down towards e
opening (test strip port). Close
e vial of test strips right away.

Setting up your Lancing Device

Hold e base of e lancing
device in one hand and e cap
in e oer. Gently press down
and pull apart.
Turn e top of e cap to
choose how deeply e
lancet will penetrate.
Firmly insert a fresh lancet
into e opening of e
lancing device.
Hold e base of e lancing
device and pull on e bottom,
en release.
Twist off e round cover of e
lancet and set it aside for later.
The lancing device is now ready
for your blood glucose test.
Firmly put e cap back
on e lancing device.

2. Don’t see “Reading transmitted and recorded” or see “No service” instead? That means your blood glucose result
was saved but didn’t reach your Care Everyday Care Manager yet. It will be sent along wi e next reading you take.
1. Make sure e entire fill line turns red when applying your drop of blood to e test strip.
