Safety Instrucon
These instrucons are intended to ensure that user can use the product correctly to avoid danger
or property loss.
Laws and Regulaons
●Use of the product must be in strict compliance with the local electrical safety regulaons.
Transportaon
●Keep the device in original or similar packaging while transporng it.
●Keep all wrappers aer unpacking them for future use. In case of any failure occurred, you need
to return the device to the factory with the original wrapper. Transportaon without the original
wrapper may result in damage on the device and the company shall not take any responsibilies.
●DO NOT drop the product or subject it to physical shock. Keep the device away from magnec
interference.
Power Supply
●Input voltage for device should meet the Limited Power Source (5 VDC, 940 mA) according to the
IEC61010-1 standard. Please refer to technical specicaons for detailed informaon.
●Make sure the plug is properly connected to the power socket.
●DO NOT connect mulple devices to one power adapter, to avoid over-heang or re hazards
caused by overload.
Baery
●Improper use or replacement of the baery may result in explosion hazard. Replace with the
same or equivalent type only. Dispose of used baeries in conformance with the instrucons
provided by the baery manufacturer.
●The built-in baery cannot be dismantled. Please contact the manufacture for repair if
necessary.
●For long-term storage of the baery, make sure it is fully charged every half year to ensure the
baery quality. Otherwise, damage may occur.
●DO NOT charge other baery types with the supplied charger. Conrm there is no ammable
material within 2 m of the charger during charging.
●DO NOT place the baery near heang or re source. Avoid direct sunlight.
●DO NOT swallow the baery to avoid chemical burns.
●DO NOT place the baery in the reach of children.
●When the device is powered o and the RTC baery is full, the me sengs can be kept for 15
days.
●In the rst use, power on the device and charge the RTC baery with the lithium baery for
more than 10 hours.

●The lithium baery voltage is 3.6 V, and the baery capacity is 6700 mAh.
●The baery is cered by UL2054.
Maintenance
●If the product does not work properly, please contact your dealer or the nearest service center.
We shall not assume any responsibility for problems caused by unauthorized repair or
maintenance.
●A few device components (e.g., electrolyc capacitor) require regular replacement. The average
lifespan varies, so periodic checking is recommended. Contact your dealer for details.
●Wipe the device gently with a clean cloth and a small quanty of ethanol, if necessary.
●If the equipment is used in a manner not specied by the manufacturer, the protecon provided
by the device may be impaired.
●We recommend you send the device back for calibraon once a year, and please contact the
local dealer for the informaon on maintenance points.
●Please noce that the current limit of USB 3.0 PowerShare port may vary with the PC brand,
which is likely to result in incompability issue. Therefore it’s advised to use regular USB 3.0 or
USB 2.0 port if the USB device fails to be recognized by PC via USB 3.0 PowerShare port.
Using Environment
●Make sure the running environment meets the requirement of the device. The operang
temperature shall be -10°C to 50°C (14°F to 122°F), and the operang humidity shall be 90% or
less.
●DO NOT expose the device to high electromagnec radiaon or dusty environments.
●DO NOT aim the lens at the sun or any other bright light.

Emergency
●If smoke, odor, or noise arises from the device, immediately turn o the power, unplug the
power cable, and contact the service center.
Laser Light Supplement Warning
Warning: The laser radiaon emied from the device can cause eye injuries, burning of skin or
inammable substances. Prevent eyes from direct laser. Before enabling the Light Supplement
funcon, make sure no human or inammable substances are in front of the laser lens. The wave
length is 650 nm, and the power is less than 1 mW. The laser meets the IEC60825-1:2014 standard.

Laser maintenance: It is not necessary to maintain the laser regularly. If the laser does not work,
the laser assembly needs to be replaced in the factory under warranty. Keep the device power o
when replacing laser assembly. Cauon-Use of controls or adjustments or performance of
procedures other than those specied herein may result in hazardous radiaon exposure.

Chapter 1 Overview
1.1 Device Descripon
The handheld thermography camera is a device with both opcal images and thermal images. It
can do thermography, distance measurement, video recording, snapshot capturing, alarm, and it
can connect to Wi-Fi, hotspot and Bluetooth. The built-in high-sensivity IR detector and high-
performance sensor detects the variaon of temperature and measure the real-me temperature.
The temperature measurement range is -20 °C to 650 °C (-4 °F to 1202 °F) with the max. accuracy
of ± 2 °C (± 3.6 °F) or 2%. The built-in laser module detects the target distance.
The device is easy to use, and adopts ergonomic design. It is widely applied to substaons,
electricity prevenon detecon of companies, and reconnaissance survey of construcon eld.
1.2 Main Funcon
Thermography
Device detects the real-me temperature, and display it on the screen.
Distance Measurement
Device can detect the target distance with the laser light.
Fusion
Device can display fusion of thermal view and opcal view.
Route Inspecon
Device can check the temperature of the check points in a predened inspecon route, and upload
the results to center client for analysis.
Geographical Locaon and Direcon Display
For some models that are equipped satellite posioning module and compass, geographical
locaon and direcon display are supported.

The funcon is supported by certain models of this series.
HDMI Output
For some models that have a micro HDMI output interface, you can connect the device to a display
unit to view live image.

Device supports mulple palees, and you can set the palee mode according to the alarm
funcon.
Client Soware Connecon
●Mobile Phone: Use HIKMICRO Viewer to view live image, capture snapshots, and record videos
on your phone. You can also, analyze pictures oine, generate and share a report via the app.
Scan the QR codes on the cover to download the App.
●PC: Use HIKMICRO Analyzer to analyze pictures oine professionally, and generate a custom

Focus Ring Adjust the lens posion at the opcal axis of the thermal lens. Refer to Focus
Lens .
Main Trigger Pull the trigger to capture or scan the QR code. Hold the trigger to record videos.
Focus Trigger Pull the trigger to enable laser assisted focus/auto focus funcon.
Cauon
The laser radiaon emied from the device can cause eye injuries, burning of skin or inammable
substances. Before enabling the light supplement funcon, make sure no human or inammable
substances are in front of the laser lens.

Chapter 2 Preparaon
2.1 Charge Device
Cauon
The built-in cell baery that powers the real me clock (RTC) of the device may drain during
longme transportaon or storage. It is recommended to recharge the RTC baery for the well-
funconing of the device clock.
To fully charge the RTC baery, the following requirements should be met:
●The rechargeable lithium baeries should be installed on the device.
●The device should keep working for more than 10 hours before shung down.
2.1.1 Charge Device via Cable Interface
Before You Start
Please make sure the baery is installed before charging.
Steps
1. Open the top cover of the device.
2. Connect the interface and the power adaptor with Type-C or USB cable.
2.1.2 Charge Device via Charging Base

Note
Please charge the device with the cable and power adapter supplied by the manufacturer (or
according to the input voltage from the specicaons).
1. Hold the device, and press both baery lock catches of the device.

2. Hold the lock catches, and draw the baery base to take out the baery.
3. Insert the baery into the charging base. You can see the charging status via the pilot lamp on
the charging base.

4. When the baery is fully charged, draw the baery from the charging base.
5. Insert baery into the device.
2.2 Mount Hand Strap
The upper part of the hand strap is aached to the camera by a buckle. There are two buckles on
both sides of the camera. The lower part of the hand strap is threaded through the hole at the
base of the camera.
Steps
1. Insert the upper part of the hand strap into the buckle.

2. Fit the buckle on the device and ghten the screw with the supplied wrench.
3. Thread the lower part of the hand strap through the hole at the base of the device. Secure the
hand strap with the hook-and-loop fastener.

2.3 Mount Protecve Cover
Aach the protecve cover when the device is not in use.
Steps
1. Align the threaded hole of the device with the mounng hole of the lens cover.
2. Insert the screw, and rotate it clockwise to x the lens cover.
