Slim Retracting Clothesline Line Replacement Manual…… ..
Suits models: Slim Retracting 4 Line (FD51201) & 6 Line (FD51200)
Important: Make sure the lines are replaced one by one.
Important: Moving parts will be adjusted. Please wear safety goggles and take precaution at all stages.
Important: Hills is not liable for any product damage caused during this process.
1. Remove all four screws located on the back
panel and remove the cover.
3. Unscrew the reel.
2. Pull the line out of the receiving bar & cut the
knot off.
Note: Be careful not to lose the black
plastic line retainer.
4. Remove the reel.
Note : Be careful to not to
dislodge the spool axle.

5. Remove the old line from the reel.
7. Wind the line tightly and evenly around the
spool, ensuring it is not crossed over.
9. Mark the spool with a marker and rotate
clockwise 8 times.
6. Insert new line & tie a knot as shown.
8. Install the spool and secure the screw firmly.
10. After winding the spool spring up, feed the line
through the line guide and receiving bar.

11. Once the line is threaded through the receiving
bar, install the black line retainer and tie the same
knot that is used in part 6.

12. Once the lines have been replaced, resecure
the 4 screws on the back panel and remount the
unit back into its location.
