Der Begri „Gerät“ oder „Produkt“ in den Warnungen
und Beschreibung des Handbuchs bezieht sich auf den
<Elektro Rasentrimmer >. Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in
Räumen mit sehr hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit/in unmittelbarer
Nähe von Wasserbehältnissen. Lassen Sie das Gerät
nicht nass werden. Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlags! Die
Ventilationsönungen dürfen nicht verdeckt werden!
2.1. ELEKTRISCHE SICHERHEIT
a) Der Gerätestecker muss mit der Steckdose
kompatibel sein. Ändern Sie den Stecker in keiner
Weise. Original-Stecker und passende Steckdosen
vermindern das Risiko eines elektrischen Schlags.
b) Vermeiden Sie das Berühren von geerdeten
Bauteilen wie Rohrleitungen, Heizkörpern, Öfen und
Kühlschränken. Es besteht das erhöhte Risiko eines
elektrischen Schlags, wenn Ihr Körper durch nasse
Oberächen und in feuchter Umgebung geerdet ist.
Wasser, das in das Gerät eintritt, erhöht das Risiko
von Beschädigungen und elektrischen Schlägen.
c) Berühren Sie das Gerät nicht mit nassen oder
feuchten Händen.
d) Verwenden Sie das Kabel nicht in unsachgemäßer
Weise. Verwenden Sie es niemals zum Tragen
des Geräts oder zum Herausziehen des Steckers.
Halten Sie das Kabel von Hitze, Öl, scharfen
Kanten oder beweglichen Teilen fern. Beschädigte
oder geschweißte Kabel erhöhen das Risiko eines
elektrischen Schlags.

1. ALLGEMEINE BESCHREIBUNG
Diese Anleitung ist als Hilfe bei der sicheren und
zuverlässigen Nutzung gedacht. Das Produkt wurde strikt
nach den technischen Vorgaben und unter Verwendung
modernster Technologien und Komponenten sowie unter
Wahrung der höchsten Qualitätsstandards entworfen und
angefertigt.
VOR INBETRIEBNAHME MUSS DIE ANLEITUNG
GENAU DURCHGELESEN UND VERSTANDEN
WERDEN.
Für einen langen und zuverlässigen Betrieb des Geräts
muss auf die richtige Handhabung und Wartung
entsprechend den in dieser Anleitung angeführten
Vorgaben geachtet werden. Die in dieser Anleitung
angegebenen technischen Daten und die Spezikation sind
aktuell. Der Hersteller behält sich das Recht vor, im Rahmen
der Verbesserung der Qualität Änderungen vorzunehmen.
Unter Berücksichtigung des technischen Fortschritts und
der Geräuschreduzierung wurde das Gerät so entworfen
und produziert, dass das infolge der Geräuschemission
entstehende Risiko auf dem niedrigsten Niveau gehalten
wird.
ERLÄUTERUNG DER SYMBOLE
HINWEIS! In der vorliegenden Anleitung sind
Beispielbilder vorhanden, die von dem tatsächlichen
Aussehen der Maschine abweichen können.
Die originale Anweisung ist die deutschsprachige Fassung.
Sonstige Sprachfassungen sind Übersetzungen aus der
deutschen Sprache.
2. NUTZUNGSSICHERHEIT
ACHTUNG! Lesen Sie alle Sicherheitshinweise und
alle Anweisungen durch. Die Nichtbeachtung der
Warnungen und Anweisungen kann zu elektrischen
Schlägen, Feuer und/oder schweren Verletzungen
bis hin zum Tod führen.

j) Das Gerät ist kein Spielzeug. Kinder sollten unter
Aufsicht stehen, damit sie nicht mit dem Gerät
spielen.
k) Bei der Arbeit mit der Maschine geeignetes
Schuhwerk und lange Hose tragen.
l) Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie sich nicht verletzen, wenn
Sie Geräte verwenden, die zum Fadenschneiden
verwendet werden.
m) Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie sich nicht mit der sich an
der Schutzhaube bendlichen Schneideklinge zum
Fadenschneiden verletzen. Nachdem Sie die Länge
des Schneidfadens eingestellt haben, drehen Sie das
Gerät in seine normale Arbeitsposition.
n) Montieren Sie keine Metallschneideelemente an
dem Gerät.
o) Es ist immer sicherzustellen, dass die
Lüftungsönungen des Gerätes frei von
Verschmutzungen sind (z.B. Steine, Grasreste, Äste,
Laub).
p) Wenn Sie eine technische Inspektion oder Einstellung
durchführen, vergewissern Sie sich immer, ob der
Schneidfaden nicht ausgetauscht werden muss.
q) Ein unvollständiges oder modiziertes Gerät kann
gefährlich sein und darf deshalb nicht benutzt
werden.
2.4. SICHERE ANWENDUNG DES GERÄTS
a) Überhitzen Sie das Gerät nicht. Verwenden Sie
geeignete Werkzeuge für die entsprechende
Anwendung. Richtig ausgewählte Geräte und der
sorgsame Umgang mit ihnen führt zu besseren
Arbeitsergebnissen.
b) Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn der EIN-/AUS-
Schalter nicht ordnungsgemäß funktioniert. Geräte,
die per Schalter nicht gesteuert werden können sind
gefährlich und müssen repariert werden.
c) Vor dem Einstellen, dem Auswechseln von Zubehör
oder dem Beiseitelegen von Werkzeug, ziehen
Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose. Eine solche
vorbeugende Maßnahme verringert das Risiko einer
versehentlichen Inbetriebnahme.
d) Nicht verwendete Werkzeuge sind außerhalb
der Reichweite von Kindern sowie von Personen
aufzubewahren, welche weder das Gerät selbst, noch
die entsprechende Anleitung kennen. In den Händen
unerfahrener Personen können derlei Geräte eine
Gefahr darstellen.
e) Halten Sie das Gerät im einwandfreien Zustand.
Überprüfen Sie vor jeder Arbeit, ob allgemeine
Schäden vorliegen oder Schäden an beweglichen
Teilen (Bruch von Teilen und Komponenten oder
andere Bedingungen, die den sicheren Betrieb der
Maschine beeinträchtigen könnten). Im Falle eines
Schadens muss das Gerät vor Gebrauch in Reparatur
gegeben werden.
f) Halten Sie das Gerät außerhalb der Reichweite von
Kindern.
g) Reparatur und Wartung von Geräten dürfen nur
von qualiziertem Fachpersonal und mit Original-
Ersatzteilen durchgeführt werden. Dadurch wird die
Sicherheit bei der Nutzung gewährleistet.
h) Vermeiden Sie Situationen, in denen das Gerät bei
laufendem Betrieb unter schwerer Last stoppt. Dies
kann zu einer Überhitzung der Antriebskomponenten
und damit zu einer Beschädigung des Gerätes
führen.
i) Berühren Sie keine beweglichen Teile oder
Zubehörteile, es sei denn, das Gerät wurde vom Netz
getrennt.
j) Der angegebene Vibrationsemissionswert wird
mit Standard-Messmethoden gemessen. Der
Vibrationsemissionswert kann sich ändern, wenn
das Gerät in anderen Umgebungsbedingungen
verwendet wird.
k) Überprüfen Sie das Gerät vor jedem Gebrauch und
nach jedem Stoß auf Anzeichen von Verschleiß oder
Beschädigung. Bitte übergeben Sie das Gerät bei
Bedarf zur Reparatur.
l) Das Gerät darf mit einer beschädigten, falsch
angebrachten oder demontierten Abschirmung
nicht benutzt werden.
m) Hände, Füße und andere Körperteile von
Schneidelementen fernhalten, insbesondere beim
Starten des Motors.
n) Nach dem Ausschalten der Maschine dreht sich der
Schneidfaden noch einige Sekunden lang aufgrund
seiner Trägheitskraft.
o) Es ist immer sicherzustellen, dass sich im
Arbeitsbereich keine Metallgegenstände oder
andere Materialien benden, die beim Auswurf durch
die Schneidelemente Sach – oder Personenschäden
verursachen können.
p) Beim Einschalten des Gerätes ist Vorsicht zu
bewahren. Kommen Sie nicht in die Nähe des
Schneidelementes.
q) Es ist sicherzustellen, dass die Hände beim Einschalten
des Gerätes in entsprechender Position sind. Das
Gerät sicher an beiden Grien gleichzeitig festhalten.
r) Die Fadenspule darf bei eingeschaltetem Gerät
nicht mit dem Boden oder einem Gegenstand in
Berührung kommen. Schalten Sie das Gerät ein,
wenn die Fadenspule parallel zum Boden steht.
s) Vergewissern Sie sich vor jeder Inbetriebnahme,
dass alle Muttern, Schrauben des Gerätes
richtig angezogen sind und dass die Fadenspule
unbeschädigt und korrekt montiert ist.
t) Ziehen Sie den Stecker des Gerätes aus der
Steckdose:
• bevor Sie das Gerät an einen anderen Benutzer
übergeben.
• bevor Sie das Gerät unbeaufsichtigt lassen (auch für
einige Minuten).
• vor dem Entfernen von Blockaden an irgendeinem
Teil des Geräts.
• vor der Durchführung von Inspektions-, Reparatur-,
Reinigungs – oder Wartungsarbeiten, wie z.B.
Austausch der Fadenspule.
• um seinen technischen Zustand nach jedem Stoß mit
dem Gerät zu überprüfen
u) Wenn das Gerät ungewöhnliche Geräusche oder
Vibrationen verursacht, ist es sofort auszuschalten,
der Stecker aus der Steckdose zu ziehen und die
Problemursache zu prüfen. Übermäßige Vibrationen
können das Gerät beschädigen und den Benutzer
verletzen.

ACHTUNG! Obwohl das Gerät mit dem Gedanken an
die Sicherheit entworfen wurde, besitzt es bestimmte
Schutzmechanismen. Trotz der Verwendung
zusätzlicher Sicherheitselemente besteht bei der
Bedienung immer noch ein Verletzungsrisiko. Es wird
empfohlen, bei der Nutzung Vorsicht und Vernunft
walten zu lassen.

e) Bei der Arbeit im Freien verwenden Sie ein
Verlängerungskabel für den Außenbereich. Die
Verwendung eines Verlängerungskabels für den
Außeneinsatz verringert das Risiko eines elektrischen
Schlags.
f) Für einen zusätzlichen Schutz wird empfohlen,
einen Fehlerstromschutzschalter (FI) mit einem
Nennfehlerbetriebsstrom von höchstens 30 mA zu
installieren.
g) Es ist regelmäßig zu prüfen, ob der
Fehlerstromschutzschalter (RCD) funktionsfähig ist.
h) Das Gerät darf nicht benutzt werden, wenn das
Netzkabel oder das Verlängerungskabel beschädigt
sind oder deutlichen Verschleiß aufweisen. Ein
beschädigtes Netzkabel ist durch einen qualizierten
Elektriker oder den Service des Herstellers
auszutauschen.
i) Ein beschädigtes Netzkabel darf nicht an die
Steckdose angeschlossen oder berührt werden, bis
es aus der Steckdose gezogen wird, da dies zum
elektrischen Schlag führen kann.
j) Während des Betriebs ist Vorsicht zu bewahren
und bewegliche Teile des Gerätes vom
Verlängerungskabel fernzuhalten, da ein Kontakt die
Beschädigung der Leitung des Verlängerungskabels
und elektrischen Schlag bewirken kann.
k) Im Fall der Beschädigung des Netzkabels ist zuerst
die Stromzufuhr zur Steckdose abzuschalten, und
erst dann der Stecker aus der Steckdose zu ziehen.
2.2. SICHERHEIT AM ARBEITSPLATZ
a) Halten Sie Ihren Arbeitsplatz sauber und gut
beleuchtet. Unordnung oder schlechte Beleuchtung
können zu Unfällen führen. Seien Sie voraussichtig,
beobachten Sie, was getan wird und bewahren
Sie Ihren gesunden Menschenverstand bei der
Verwendung des Gerätes.
b) BenutzenSiedasGerätnichtinexplosionsgefährdeten
Bereichen, zum Beispiel in Gegenwart von
brennbaren Flüssigkeiten, Gasen oder Staub. Geräte
können unter Umständen Funken erzeugen, welche
Staub oder Dämpfe entzünden können.
c) Im Falle eines Schadens oder einer Störung sollte
das Gerät sofort ausgeschaltet und dies einer
autorisierten Person gemeldet werden.
d) Wenn Sie nicht sicher sind, ob das Gerät
ordnungsgemäß funktioniert, wenden Sie sich an
den Service des Herstellers.
e) Reparaturen dürfen nur vom Service des Herstellers
durchgeführt werden. Führen Sie keine Reparaturen
auf eigene Faust durch!
f) Zum Löschen des Gerätes bei Brand oder Feuer, nur
Pulver-Feuerlöscher oder Kohlendioxidlöscher (CO2)
verwenden.
g) Kinder und Unbefugte dürfen am Arbeitsplatz nicht
anwesend sein. (Unachtsamkeit kann zum Verlust der
Kontrolle über das Gerät führen).
h) Bewahren Sie die Gebrauchsanleitung für den
weiteren Gebrauch auf. Sollte dieses Gerät
an Dritte weitergegeben werden, muss die
Gebrauchsanleitung mit ausgehändigt werden.
i) Das Gerät ist nicht zu benutzen, wenn sich Menschen
(insbesondere Kinder) oder Tiere in der Nähe
benden.
j) Das Gerät darf nur bei Tageslicht oder künstlicher
Beleuchtung, die für gute Sichtbarkeit sorgt, benutzt
werden.

beim Gewitter oder wenn die Gefahr besteht, dass
ein Gewitter aufkommt.
m) Während des Betriebs wirbelt die Maschine Grasreste
und andere Kleinteile auf, die vom Schneidfaden
getroen werden. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit sollte
der Sicherheit von umstehenden Personen und
Tieren in der Nähe des Arbeitsbereichs geschenkt
werden. Ausgeworfene harte oder scharfe Teile
können zu Verletzungen führen.
HINWEIS!Kinder und Unbeteiligte müssen bei der
Arbeit mit diesem Gerät gesichert werden.
2.3. PERSÖNLICHE SICHERHEIT
a) Es ist nicht gestattet, das Gerät im Zustand der
Ermüdung, Krankheit, unter Einuss von Alkohol,
Drogen oder Medikamenten zu betreiben,
wenn diese die Fähigkeit das Gerät zu bedienen,
einschränken.
b) Die Maschine darf nur durch entsprechend
geschulte, zur Bedienung geeignete und physisch
gesunde Personen bedient werden, die die
vorliegende Anleitung gelesen haben und die
Arbeitsschutzanforderungen kennen.
c) Die Maschine ist nicht dazu bestimmt, durch
Personen (darunter Kinder) mit eingeschränkten
physischen, sensorischen und geistigen Fähigkeiten
bzw. durch Personen ohne entsprechende Erfahrung
und/oder entsprechendes Wissen bedient zu
werden, es sei denn es gibt eine für ihre Aufsicht
und Sicherheit zuständige Person bzw. sie haben von
dieser Person entsprechende Hinweise in Bezug auf
die Bedienung der Maschine erhalten.
d) Seien Sie aufmerksam und verwenden Sie Ihren
gesunden Menschenverstand beim Betreiben
des Gerätes. Ein Moment der Unaufmerksamkeit
während der Arbeit kann zu schweren Verletzungen
führen.
e) Benutzen Sie persönliche Schutzausrüstung, die für
den Betrieb des Gerätes entsprechend den in Punkt 1
der Symbolerläuterungen vorgegebenen Maßgaben
erforderlich ist. Die Verwendung geeigneter
und zertizierter persönlicher Schutzausrüstung
verringert das Verletzungsrisiko.
f) Um eine versehentliche Inbetriebnahme zu
vermeiden, vergewissern Sie sich, dass der
Schalter vor dem Anschließen an eine Stromquelle
ausgeschaltet ist.
g) Überschätzen Sie Ihre Fähigkeiten nicht. Halten Sie
Balance und Gleichgewicht während der Arbeit. Dies
gibt Ihnen eine bessere Kontrolle über das Gerät im
Falle unerwarteter Situationen.
h) Tragen Sie keine lose Kleidung oder Schmuck.
Halten Sie Haare, Kleidung und Handschuhe von
beweglichen Teilen fern. Lose Kleidung, Schmuck
oder lange Haare können durch bewegliche Teile
ergrien werden.
i) Entfernen Sie alle Einstellwerkzeuge oder Schlüssel,
bevor Sie das Gerät einschalten. Gegenstände, die
in rotierenden Teilen verbleiben, können zu Schäden
und Verletzungen führen.

Bewegen Sie sich beim Schneiden immer vorwärts.
Die Rückwärtsbewegung ist verboten, da die
Möglichkeit besteht, auf Hindernisse zu stoßen, die
der Bediener möglicherweise nicht sieht. Bewegen
Sie sich nicht in Richtung von Personen oder festen
Gegenständen wie Mauern, Bäumen, Fahrzeugen
usw. Wenn die Rotationsgeschwindigkeit sinkt,
schalten Sie das Gerät sofort aus und trennen Sie die
Stromversorgung, um die Ursache des Problems zu
überprüfen.
Entfernen Sie alle Materialien, die in der Nähe der
Schutzhaube oder der Fadenspule verbleiben, und
prüfen Sie diese auf Beschädigungen, bevor Sie
den Betrieb wieder aufnehmen. Alle beschädigten
Bauteile sind auszutauschen.
f) Nach Abschluss der Arbeiten mit dem Gerät schalten
Sie es durch Loslassen des Hauptschalters aus und
trennen es von der Stromversorgung.
Grasschnitt mit geringerer Höhe
Um eine geringere Höhe des zu mähenden Grases zu
erreichen, neigen Sie den Schneidkopf beim Arbeiten mit
dem Gerät nach links. Hinweis: Je höher die Neigung nach
links, desto geringer wird die Höhe des Grases.
3.4. REINIGUNG UND WARTUNG
a) Vor jeder Reinigung und Einstellung, dem Austausch
von Zubehör oder wenn das Gerät nicht benutzt
wird, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker und lassen das
Gerät vollständig abkühlen.
b) Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen der Oberäche
ausschließlich Mittel ohne ätzende Inhaltsstoe.
c) Lassen Sie nach jeder Reinigung alle Teile gut
trocknen, bevor das Gerät erneut verwendet wird.
d) Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen, kühlen,
vor Feuchtigkeit und direkter Sonneneinstrahlung
geschütztem Ort auf.
e) Es ist untersagt die Maschine mit Wasserstrahlen zu
besprühen.
f) Man muss vermeiden, dass Wasser durch die
Belüftungsönungen am Gehäuse ins Innere
gelangt.
g) Die Belüftungsönungen sind mit Pinsel und
Druckluft zu reinigen.
h) Hinsichtlich der technischen Ezienz und eventueller
Schäden sollte eine regelmäßige Überprüfung des
Gerätes durchgeführt werden.
i) Es ist zulässig, die Haube und den Gerätekopf mit
einer weichen Bürste zu reinigen.
j) Reinigen und justieren Sie den Schneidfaden
bei jeder technischen Inspektion, Wartung und
Justierung des Gerätes gründlich.

Der Faden wird automatisch verlängert. Die Schneideklinge
der Schutzhaube kürzt überschüssigen Schneidfaden.
Es ist auch möglich, den Schneidfaden von Hand aus der
Spule zu ziehen.
ACHTUNG! Trennen Sie das Gerät von der Stromversorgung,
wenn Sie die Länge des Schneidfadens manuell einstellen.
a) Drehen Sie das Gerät so um, dass die Fadenspule
leicht erreichbar ist.
b) Drücken Sie auf die Mitte der Fadenspule und ziehen
Sie den Faden mit der Hand.
c) Lassen Sie den Druck auf die Spule ab und schneiden
Sie den Schneidfaden (z.B. mit einer Schere) auf die
gewünschte Länge oder lassen Sie den Faden durch
die Schneideklinge kürzen, die während des Betriebs
an der Schutzhaube des Gerätes montiert ist.
Austausch der Fadenspule
Ersetzen Sie die Spule durch eine neue Spule, wenn der
gesamte Faden verbraucht ist. Dazu:
a) Trennen Sie das Gerät von der Stromversorgung.
b) Halten Sie die Kunststoabdeckung der Spule und
drücken Sie seitlich auf die Halterungen, die die

c) Entnehmen Sie die leere Fadenspule.
d) Um eine neue Spule zu montieren, wiederholen
Sie den Vorgang in umgekehrter Reihenfolge und
denken Sie daran, zuerst die Fadenenden durch die
Ösen der Spulenaufnahme zu führen.
WARNUNG! Achten Sie darauf, dass die Spule
richtig montiert ist. Andernfalls kann die Spule bei
laufendem Gerät aus der Halterung ausgeworfen
werden.
Höhenverstellung
Um den Abstand der Fadenspule von den Grien (Höhe)
einzustellen, soll man:
a) Die Arretierung der Holmverstellung lockern.
b) Die gewünschte Länge einstellen
c) Die Arretierung der Holmverstellung festziehen.
ACHTUNG! Achten Sie darauf, dass die Arretierung
richtig festgezogen ist. Plötzliche, selbstständige
Bewegung der Fadenspule während des Betriebs
des Gerätes kann zum Verlust der Kontrolle über das
Gerät und zu einem Unfall führen.
Arbeit mit dem Gerät
a) Überprüfen Sie vor Arbeitsbeginn den Arbeitsbereich
und entfernen Sie alle Gegenstände oder Materialien,
die durch den Faden ausgeworfen werden, sich im
Faden verfangen haben und die zu seiner Blockade
führen können.
b) Halten Sie das Gerät an dem Haupt – und dem
Zusatzhandgri vor sich, während Sie eine stabile
Position einnehmen. Achten Sie darauf, dass die
Fadenspule beim Anfahren des Gerätes nicht gegen
den Boden lehnt.
c) Halten Sie den Hauptschalter des Gerätes gedrückt.
d) Warten Sie, bis der Schneidfaden seine maximale
Geschwindigkeit erreicht hat, bevor Sie mit dem
Schneidevorgang beginnen.
(Während Sie die Fadenspule parallel zum Boden
halten, bewegen Sie das Gerät von links nach
rechts und reduzieren Sie dabei schrittweise die
Schnitthöhe. Setzen Sie die Arbeit fort, indem
Sie vorwärts fahren, bis über den gesamten
Arbeitsbereich das gleiche Ergebnis erzielt wird.

AUFBAU DES GERÄTES
Achten Sie vor der Montage darauf, dass das Gerät vom
Stromnetz getrennt ist.
• Montage der Schutzhaube
Das Gerät muss für den Einsatz komplett montiert
sein.
Um die Schutzhaube zu montieren, drehen Sie das
Gerät so um, dass die Fadenspule leicht erreichbar
ist. Schieben Sie die Haube in die Nut über der
Fadenspule und sichern Sie die Verbindung mit einer
Schraube.
• Sichere Lage des Netzkabels
Im unteren Teil des Haupthandgries bendet sich
eine Kabelzugentlastung. Das Kabel sollte an der
Kabelzugentlastung aufgehängt werden, um die
Betriebssicherheit des Gerätes zu erhöhen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Stromversorgung des Gerätes
den Angaben auf dem Produktschild entspricht.
3.3. ARBEIT MIT DEM GERÄT
Einstellung der Schneidfadenlänge
Je nach Einsatz des Gerätes verschleißt der Schneidfaden
und verliert seine Leistung. Ein vollautomatisches
Fadenverlängerungssystem ermöglicht seine Verlängerung.
Um den Schneidfaden zu verlängern, drücken Sie während
des Betriebs des Gerätes die Fadenspule leicht gegen den
Boden (vorzugsweise an einer Stelle, an der die Länge des
Grases keine Rolle spielt, da sie auch die Höhe des Grases
an dieser Stelle verkürzen kann).

in very humid environments or in the direct vicinity of water

2.1. ELECTRICAL SAFETY
a) The plug has to t the socket. Do not modify the
plug in any way. Using original plugs and matching
sockets reduces the risk of electric shock.
b) Avoid touching earthed elements such as pipes,
heaters, boilers and fridges. There is an increased risk
of electric shock if the earthed device is exposed to
rain, in direct contact with a wet surface or operating
in a humid environment. Water ingression into the
device increases the risk of damage to the device
and of electric shock.
c) Do not touch the device with wet or damp hands.
d) Use the cable only in accordance with its designated
use. Never use it to carry the device or to pull the
plug out of a socket. Keep the cable away from heat
sources, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged
or tangled cables increase the risk of electric shock.
e) If working with the device outside, make sure to use
an extension lead suitable for external use. Using an
extension lead suitable for external use reduces the

2. USAGE SAFETY
ATTENTION! Read all safety warnings and all
instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and
instructions may result in an electric shock, re and/

h) Do not use the machine if the power cord
or the extension cord is faulty or show clear
signs of wear. A damaged power cord must
be replaced by a qualied electrician or the
manufacturer‘s maintenance service.
i) Do not plug a damaged power cord to the wall
socket. Do not touch a damaged power cord until
it is unplugged from the wall socket, since this may
cause electric shock.
j) During operation, be careful and keep the moving
parts of the machine away from the extension cord
because their contact may damage the extension
cord and cause an electric shock.
k) In case the power cord gets damaged, rst cut o
the power supply to the wall socket and then unplug
the cord from the socket.
2.2. SAFETY AT THE WORKPLACE
a) Make sure the workplace is orderly and well lit.
A messy or poorly lit workplace may lead to accidents.
Try to anticipate what may happen, observe what is
going on and use common sense when working with
the device.
b) Do not use the device in an explosion hazard zone,
for example in the presence of ammable liquids,
gasses or dust. The device generates sparks which
may ignite dust or fumes.
c) Upon discovering damage or irregular operation,
immediately switch the device o and report it to
a supervisor without delay.
d) If there are any doubts as to the correct operation
of the device, contact the manufacturer‘s support
service.
e) Only the manufacturer‘s service point may repair the
device. Do not attempt any repairs independently!
f) If a re starts, use solely powder or carbon dioxide
(CO2) re extinguishers suitable for use on live
devices to put it out.
g) Children or unauthorised persons are forbidden
from entering a work station. (A distraction may
result in a loss of control over the device).
h) Please keep this manual available for future
reference. If this device is passed on to third parties,
the manual must be passed on with it.
i) Stop operating the machine if there are people
(especially children) or pets nearby.
j) The machine must only be used in daylight or with
articial light that guarantees good visibility.
k) Do not use the machine in moist environments.
l) Avoid using the machine in bad weather conditions,
especially during lightning storms or if there is a risk
of a lightning storm.
m) When operating, the device ejects pieces of grass
and other small elements when they are hit by the
cutting wire. Care should be taken not to injure
bystanders and animals in the vicinity of the working
area. The ejected hard or sharp elements can cause
injuries.
b) The machine may be operated by physically t
persons who are able to handle the machine and
properly trained and who reviewed this operating
manual and received training in occupational health
and safety.
c) The machine is not designed to be handled by
persons (including children) with limited mental
and sensory functions or persons lacking relevant
experience and/ or knowledge unless they are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety
or they have received instructions on how to operate
the machine.
d) When working with the device, use common sense
and stay alert. Temporary loss of concentration whilst
using the device may lead to serious injuries.
e) Use personal protection equipment as required
for working with the device, specied in section 1
(Legend).
The use of correct, approved personal protection
equipment reduces the risk of suering an injury.
f) To prevent the device from accidentally switching on,
make sure the switch is on the OFF position before
connecting to a power source.
g) Do not overestimate your abilities. When using the
device keep your balance and remain stable at all
times. This will ensure better control over the device
in unexpected situations.
h) Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep hair,
clothes and gloves away from moving parts. Loose
clothing, jewellery or long hair may get caught in
moving parts.
i) Remove all adjusting tools or spanners before
turning the device on. A tool or spanner left in the
revolving part of the device may cause injury.
j) The device is not a toy. Children should be supervised
so that they will not play with the device.
k) When working with the machine, wear proper
footwear and long trousers.
l) Be careful not to injure yourself when using the
device designed to trim the cutting wire.
m) Care should be taken not to injure yourself with the
blade in the guard designed for trimming the cutting
wire. After the adjustment of the length of the
cutting wire, revert the device to a normal operating
position.
n) Do not install metal cutting elements in the device.
Always make sure that the machine ventilation
openings are free from dirt (e.g. stones, grass,
branches, leaves).
o) When performing technical inspections or
adjustments, always check if it is necessary to replace
the cutting wire.
p) Incomplete or modied machine can be dangerous
and must not be used.
2.4. SAFE DEVICE USE
a) Do not overload the device. Use appropriate tools
for the given task. A correctly selected device will
perform the task for which it was designed better
and in a safer manner.
b) Do not use the device if the ON/OFF switch does not
function properly (does not switch the device on and
o). Devices which cannot be switched on and o
using the ON/OFF switch are hazardous, should not
be operated and have to be repaired.
REMEMBER! When using the device, protect children
and other bystanders.
2.3. PERSONAL SAFETY
a) Do not use the device when tired, ill or under the
inuence of alcohol, narcotics or medication which
can signicantly impair the ability to operate the
device.

e) While holding the cutting wire parallel to the ground,
move the device from left to right, successively
reducing the cutting height. Continue work by
moving forward until the same result is reached
throughout the whole work area.
When cutting, always move forward. Do not move
backwards because you may come across obstacles
which you may not see. Do not move towards people
or objects such as walls, trees, vehicles etc. If the
rotational speed drops, immediately switch o the
device and unplug it from the power supply and then
check the cause of the problem.
Remove all materials that remain close to the guard
or the cutting head and check that the components
are not damaged before resuming operation. All
damaged parts must be replaced.
f) After your nish operating the device, switch it o
and unplug it from the power supply.
Cutting the grass at a low height
To obtain a lower grass height, while operating the device,
tilt the cutting head to the left. Caution: the greater the tilt
to the left, the shorter the grass.
3.4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
a) Before each cleaning, adjustment, replacement
of accessories and if the device is not used, it is
necessary to pull out the mains plug and cool the
device completely.
b) Use cleaners without corrosive substances to clean
each surface.
c) After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried
before reusing it.
d) Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
e) Never spray the device with water jets.
f) Remember to prevent water from penetrating inside
the device through vents in the housing of the device
g) Clean the vents with a paintbrush and compressed
air
h) Regular inspections of the device must be carried out
in terms of its technical eciency and any damages.
i) You may use a soft brush to clean the device guard
and the cutting head.
j) Thoroughly clean and adjust the cutting wire during
each technical inspection, maintenance, and device
adjustment.
3.3. DEVICE USE
Adjusting the length of the cutting wire
Depending on the use of the device, the cutting wire wears
down and its performance decreases. The automatic wire
adjustment system allows increasing wire length.
To extend the cutting wire, while the device is in operation,
slightly press the cutting head against the ground
(preferably in the place where the length of the grass is
not important as the grass may get shortened). The cutting
wire will extend automatically. The blade mounted in the
guard will cut the excess wire to the desired length.
It is also possible to manually extend the cutting wire from
the spool.
IMPORTANT! Disconnect the device from the power supply
before manually adjusting the length of the cutting wire.
a) place the device upside down so that you can easily
reach the cutting head.
b) press on the centre part of the cutting head and pull
the wire by hand.
c) stop pressing the head and trim the cutting wire (e.g.
with scissors) to the desired length or let the wire be
cut by the blade installed in the device guard during
its operation.
Replacement of the spool with the cutting wire
After using up the whole wire, you need to replace the
spool. To do this:
a) disconnect the device from the power supply.
b) when holding the plastic cover of the spool, press
the two securing clips that keep the spool in place.
c) remove the old spool.
d) to install the new spool, repeat the procedure in the
reverse order, remembering to rst route the wires
through the holes in the cutting head.
CAUTION! Make sure the spool is properly installed.
If not, the spool may be ejected from the head
during operation.
Device height adjustment
To adjust the distance of the cutting head from the handles
(the height):
a) unscrew the locking nut of the height adjustment
mechanism.
b) Set the desired height
c) Tighten the locking nut of the height adjustment
mechanism.
IMPORTANT! Make sure the locking mechanism is
properly tightened. A sudden change of the cutting
head position during device operation can cause loss
of control and result in an accident.
How to operate the device
a) Check the work area before starting operation and
remove all objects or materials that can be ejected
by the cutting wire, entangled in it and those which
may cause a blockage.
b) Maintaining a stable position, keep the device in
front of you using the main and auxiliary handles.
Make sure the cutting head is not resting on the
ground while the device is started.
c) Press and hold the main switch on the device.
d) Before you start cutting the grass, wait for the cutting
wire to reach its maximum speed.
c) Make sure the plug is disconnected from the
socket before attempting any adjustments, tool
replacements or before putting the device aside.
Such precautions will reduce the risk of accidentally
activating the device.
d) When not in use, store in a safe place, away from
children and people not familiar with the device, who
have not read the user manual. The device may pose
a hazard in the hands of inexperienced users.
e) Maintain the device in a good technical state. Before
each use check for general damage and especially
check for cracked parts or elements and for any other
conditions which may impact the safe operation of
the device. If damage is discovered, hand over the
device for repair before use.
f) Keep the device out of the reach of children.
g) Device repair or maintenance should be carried out
by qualied persons, only using original spare parts.
This will ensure safe use.
h) Avoid situations where the device halts during
use due to excessive loading. This may result in
overheating of the drive elements and device
damage.
i) Do not touch articulated parts or accessories, unless
the device has been disconnected from a power
source.
j) The specied vibrations emission was measured
using standard measurement methods. Vibrations
emissions may change if the device is used in
dierent surroundings.
k) Before each use and in case of hitting the device,
always check if there are no signs of wear or damage.
Have the device repaired, if necessary.
l) Do not use the machine with a damaged, incorrectly
installed or removed cover.
m) Always keep your hands, feet and other parts of the
body away from the cutting elements, especially
during the engine start.
n) The cutting wire continues to rotate due to the
power of inertia for a few seconds after the device is
switched o.
o) Always make sure that in the work area there are
no metal objects or other elements that could be
ejected by the cutting elements and cause damage
to property or personal injury.
p) While starting the machine, be cautious and do not
approach the cutting elements.
q) Make sure that your hands are in the correct position
while starting the machine. Firmly grip the machine
using both handles.
r) The cutting head must not come into contact with
the ground or any object when the device is switched
on. The device must be switched on only when the
cutting head is parallel to the ground.
s) Before each use make sure that all nuts and screws
are properly tightened and that the cutting head is
not damaged and that it is properly tted.
t) Unplug the device from the power supply:
• before passing the machine to another user.
• before leaving the machine without supervision
(even for a short time).
• before removing blockages from any part of the
machine.
• before carrying out any technical inspections, repairs,
cleaning or performing any maintenance operations,
such as replacing the cutting wires.
• to check its technical condition after the device hits
an object.
u) If the machine emits abnormal noises or reaches
abnormal vibration levels, immediately switch o the
machine, unplug it from the wall socket and search
for the cause of the problem. Excessive vibration may
damage the machine and injure the user.
ATTENTION! Despite the safe design of the device
and its protection facilities and despite the use of
additional elements protecting the operator, there is
still a slight risk of an accident or injury when using
the device. When using the device stay alert and use
common sense.

The device is intended to trim grass and weeds in areas
inaccessible for lawnmowers (e.g. under shrubs or just at
the edge of the lawn).
The user is liable for any damage resulting from
nonintended use of the device.
3.2. PREPARING FOR USE
ASSEMBLY OF THE DEVICE
Before assembling the device, make sure it is disconnected
from the power supply
• Installing the guard
The device must be fully assembled before use.
To install the guard, place the device upside down
so that you can easily reach the cutting head. Slide
the guard into the groove over the cutting head and
secure the connection with a screw.
• Safe location of the power cord
At the bottom of the main handle, there is a hook to
hang the power cord. The cord must be hung on the
hook to improve the device safety.
The power cord connected to the appliance must be
properly grounded and correspond to the technical details.

j) W tracie pracy należy zachować ostrożność i trzymać
ruchome część urządzenia z dala od przedłużacza
ponieważ ich kontakt ze sobą może spowodować
uszkodzenie przewodu przedłużacza oraz porażenie
prądem elektrycznym.
k) W przypadku uszkodzenia przewodu zasilającego
należy najpierw odłączyć dopływ prądu do gniazda,
a dopiero potem odłączyć wtyczkę przewodu od
gniazda.
2.2. BEZPIECZEŃSTWO W MIEJSCU PRACY
a) Utrzymywać porządek w miejscu pracy i dobre
oświetlenie. Nieporządek lub złe oświetlenie może
prowadzić do wypadków. Należy być przewidującym,
obserwować co się robi i zachowywać rozsądek
podczas używania urządzenia.
b) Nie używać urządzenia w stree zagrożenia
wybuchem, na przykład w obecności łatwopalnych
cieczy, gazów lub pyłów. Urządzenie wytwarzają
iskry, mogące zapalić pył lub opary.
c) W razie stwierdzenia uszkodzenia lub
nieprawidłowości w pracy urządzenia należy je
bezzwłocznie wyłączyć i zgłosić to do osoby

d) W razie wątpliwości, czy urządzenia działa poprawnie,
należy skontaktować się z serwisem producenta.
e) Naprawy urządzenia może wykonać wyłącznie
serwis producenta. Nie wolno dokonywać napraw
samodzielnie!
f) W przypadku zaprószenia ognia lub pożaru, do
gaszenia urządzenia pod napięciem należy używać
wyłącznie gaśnic proszkowych lub śniegowych (CO2).
g) Na stanowisku pracy nie mogą przebywać dzieci
ani osoby nieupoważnione. (Nieuwaga może
spowodować utratę kontroli nad urządzeniem).
h) Zachować instrukcję użytkowania w celu jej
późniejszego użycia. W razie gdyby urządzenie miało
zostać przekazane osobom trzecim, to wraz z nim
należy przekazać również instrukcję użytkowania.
i) Należy zaprzestać użytkowania urządzenia jeśli
w pobliżu są ludzie (a zwłaszcza dzieci) lub zwierzęta.
j) Urządzenia wolno używać tylko w świetle dziennym

l) Należy unikać używania urządzenia w złych

a) Niedozwolone jest obsługiwanie urządzenia
w stanie zmęczenia, choroby, pod wpływem
alkoholu, narkotyków lub leków, które ograniczają

a) Odwrócić urządzenie tak by można było się łatwo
dostać do głowicy tnącej wraz z linką.
b) Nacisnąć na środkową część głowicy tnącej
i pociągnąć ręką za linkę.
c) Zwolnić nacisk na głowicę i przyciąć linkę tnącą (np.
nożyczkami) na żądanej długości lub pozwolić aby
linka została obcięta przez ostrze zamontowane na
osłonie urządzenia w trakcie jego pracy.
Wymiana szpuli z linką tnącą
Po zużyciu całej linki należy wymienić szpulę linki na nową.
W tym celu:
a) Odłączyć urządzenie od zasilania.
b) Trzymając plastikową obudowę szpuli, nacisnąć dwa
klipsy, które utrzymują szpulę na miejscu.
c) Usunąć starą szpulę.
d) Aby zmontować nową szpulę, powtórz procedurę
w odwrotnej kolejności, pamiętając aby najpierw
przeciągnąć linki przez otwory w głowicy tnącej.

Regulacja wysokości urządzenia
Aby wyregulować odległości głowicy tnącej od uchwytów

a) Odkręcić nakrętkę blokująca mechanizmu
regulującego wysokość.
b) Ustawić żądaną wysokość
c) Dokręcić nakrętkę blokująca mechanizmu
regulującego wysokość.
UWAGA! Należy upewnić się, że tuleja zaciskowa
jest prawidłowo dokręcona. Nagłe, samoczynne
przesunięcie głowicy tnącej w trakcie pracy
urządzenia może spowodować utratę kontroli nad
urządzeniem i doprowadzić do wypadku.
Praca z urządzeniem
a) Sprawdzić obszar roboczy przed rozpoczęciem pracy
oraz usunąć wszystkie przedmioty lub materiały,
które mogą zostać wyrzucone przez linkę tnącą,
splątane w niej, a także te które mogą spowodować
jej zablokowanie.
b) Utrzymując stabilną pozycję, trzymać urządzenie
przed sobą za uchwyt główny oraz pomocniczy.
Należy zwrócić uwagę aby głowica tnąca nie opierała
się o ziemię w momencie uruchamiania urządzenia.
c) Nacisnąć i trzymać włącznik główny urządzenia.
d) Przed rozpoczęciem operacji cięcia zaczekać, aż linka
tnąca osiągnie maksymalną prędkość.
e) Trzymając głowicę tnącą równolegle do ziemi,
przemieszczać urządzenie z lewej strony na
prawą, stopniowo zmniejszając wysokość cięcia.
Kontynuować pracę przesuwając się do przodu, aż
do osiągnięcia takiego samego wyniku na całym
obszarze roboczym.
Podczas cięcia poruszać się zawsze do przodu.
Zabronione jest poruszanie się do tyłu, ponieważ
istnieje możliwość natknięcia się na przeszkody,
których operator mógłby nie zobaczyć. Nie
przemieszczać się w kierunku ludzi lub obiektów
stałych, takich jak ściany, drzewa, pojazdy itp. Jeśli
prędkość obrotowa spadnie, natychmiast wyłączyć
urządzenie i odłączyć zasilanie, aby sprawdzić
przyczynę problemu.

Możliwe jest również ręczne wysunięcie linki tnącej ze
szpuli.
UWAGA! Należy odłączyć urządzenie od zasilania w trakcie
ręcznego dostosowywania długości linki tnącej.
j) Urządzenie nie jest zabawką. Dzieci powinny być
pilnowane, aby nie bawiły się urządzeniem.
k) W trakcie pracy z urządzeniem należy nosić
odpowiednie obuwie oraz długie spodnie.
l) Należy zachować ostrożność, aby nie odnieść
obrażeń ciała w trakcie użytkowania urządzeń
przystosowanych do przycinania linki tnącej.
m) Należy zachować ostrożność aby nie odnieść obrażeń

wyłączyć, wyjąć wtyczkę z gniazdka i sprawdzić
przyczynę problemu. Nadmierne wibracje mogą
uszkodzić urządzenie i zranić użytkownika.
UWAGA! Pomimo iż urządzenie zostało
zaprojektowane tak aby było bezpieczne, posiadało
odpowiednie środki ochrony oraz pomimo użycia

f) Za účelem dodatečné ochrany je vhodné instalovat
proudový jistič (RCD) s nominálním zbytkovým
pracovním proudem nepřekračujícím 30 mA.
g) Pravidelně kontrolujte, zda je proudový jistič (RCD)
funkční.
h) Zařízení nepoužívejte, pokud je napájecí nebo
prodlužovací kabel poškozen nebo nese výrazné
známky opotřebení. Poškozený napájecí kabel musí
vyměnit kvalikovaný elektrikář nebo servis výrobce.
i) Nezapojujte poškozený napájecí kabel do zásuvky
a nedotýkejte se napájecího kabelu, dokud nebude
odpojen o zásuvky, hrozí úder elektrickým proudem.
j) Během práce zachovejte obezřetnost a držte
pohyblivé části zařízení mimo prodlužovací kabel,
neboť jejich vzájemný kontakt může způsobit
poškození prodlužovacího kabelu a úder elektrickým
proudem.
k) V případě poškození napájecího kabelu nejdříve
vypněte přívod proudu do zásuvky, teprve pak
vytáhněte zástrčku kabelu ze zásuvky.
2.2. BEZPEČNOST NA PRACOVIŠTI
a) Na pracovišti udržujte pořádek a dobré osvětlení.
Nepořádek nebo špatné osvětlení mohou vést
k úrazům. Buďte předvídaví a sledujte, co se během
práce kolem vás děje. Při práci se zařízením vždy
zachovávejte zdravý rozum.
b) Se zařízením nepracujte ve výbušném prostředí,
například v přítomnosti hořlavých kapalin, plynů
nebo prachu. Zařízení vytváří jiskření, skrze které
může dojít ke vznícení prachu nebo výparů.
c) Pokud zjistíte, že zařízení nepracuje správně, nebo
je poškozeno, ihned jej vypněte a poruchu nahlaste
autorizované osobě.
d) Pokud máte pochybnosti o tom, zda zařízení funguje
správně, kontaktujte servis výrobce.
e) Opravy zařízení může provádět pouze servis výrobce.
Opravy neprovádějte sami!
f) V případě vzniku požáru k hašení zařízení pod
napětím používejte pouze práškové nebo sněhové
hasicí přístroje (CO2).
g) Na pracovišti se nesmí zdržovat děti a nepovolané
osoby. (Nepozornost může způsobit ztrátu kontroly
nad zařízením.)
h) Návod k obsluze uschovejte za účelem jeho
pozdějšího použití. V případě předánání zařízení
třetím osobám musí být spolu se zařízením předán
rovněž návod k obsluze.
i) Nepoužívejte zařízení, pokud se v blízkosti nacházejí
lidé (především děti) nebo zvířata.
j) Zařízení smí být používáno pouze při denním světle
nebo při umělém osvětlení zajišťujícím dobrou
viditelnost.
k) Nepoužívejte zařízení ve vlhkém prostředí.
l) Nepoužívejte zařízení při špatném počasí, především
při bouřce, nebo když se blíží.
m) Během práce zařízení vymršťuje zbytky trávy a jiné
drobné prvky, na které narazí struna. Věnujte zvláštní
pozornost: bezpečnosti postranních osob a zvířat
v blízkosti pracovní oblasti. Vymrštěné tvrdé nebo
ostré prvky mohou způsobit tělesná zranění.
2.3. OSOBNÍ BEZPEČNOST
a) Nepoužívejte zařízení, jste-li unaveni nebo pod
vlivem drog, alkoholu nebo léků, které významně
snižují schopnost ovládat zařízení.
b) Zařízení smí obsluhovat fyzicky zdatné osoby, které
s ním umí zacházet, byly příslušně vyškoleny k jeho
obsluze, seznámily se s tímto návodem a byly také
proškoleny v oblasti bezpečnosti a ochrany zdraví při
práci.
c) Zařízení není určen k tomu, aby jej používaly osoby
(včetně dětí) s omezenými psychickými, smyslovými
nebo duševními schopnostmi nebo osoby bez
příslušných zkušeností a/nebo znalostí, ledaže
jsou pod dohledem osoby zodpovědné za jejich
bezpečnost nebo od ní obdržely pokyny, jak zařízení
obsluhovat.
d) Při práci se zařízením buďte pozorní, řiďte se
zdravým rozumem. Chvilka nepozornosti při práci
může vést k vážnému úrazu.
e) Používejte osobní ochranné pomůcky
vyžadované pro práci se zařízením, specikované
v bodě 1 vysvětlením symbolů. Používání vhodných,
atestovaných osobních ochranných prostředků
snižuje nebezpečí úrazu.
f) Zabraňte náhodnému spuštění. Ujistěte se, že je
spínač ve vypnuté poloze před připojením zařízení
k napájecímu zdroji.
g) Nepřeceňujte své schopnosti. Udržujte stabilní postoj
a rovnováhu po celou dobu práce. To vám umožní
lépe ovládat zařízení v neočekávaných situacích.
h) Nenoste volné oblečení nebo šperky. Vlasy, oděv
a rukavice udržujte v bezpečné vzdálenosti od
rotujících dílů. Volný oděv, šperky nebo dlouhé vlasy
mohou zachytit rotující díly.
i) Odstraňte veškeré seřizovací nástroje nebo klíče před
zapnutím zařízení. Nástroje nebo klíče ponechané
v rotujících dílech zařízení mohou způsobit vážný úraz.
j) Zařízení není hračka. Dohlížejte na děti, aby si se
zařízením nehrály.
k) Během práce se zařízením používejte vhodnou obuv
a dlouhé kalhoty.
l) Při používání zařízení určených k řezání struny
zachovejte obezřetnost, aby nedošlo ke zranění.
m) Zachovejte obezřetnost, aby nedošlo ke zranění
způsobenému ostřím umístěným na krytu, které je
určeno k řezání struny. Po nastavení délky struny
otočte zařízení do normální pracovní polohy.
n) Neinstalujte do zařízení kovové struny.
o) Vždy se ujistěte, že ventilační otvory zařízení nejsou
znečištěné (např. kamení, zbytky trávy, větvičky, listí).
p) Během technické prohlídky nebo nastavení vždy
zkontrolujte, zda není nutná výměna struny.
q) Nekompletní nebo upravované zařízení může být
nebezpečné a je zakázáno jej používat.
2.4. BEZPEČNÉ POUŽÍVÁNÍ ZAŘÍZENÍ
a) Zařízení nepřetěžujte. Pro daný úkol používejte vždy
správný typ nářadí. Správně zvolené nářadí lépe
a bezpečněji provede práci, pro kterou bylo navrženo.
b) Zařízení nepoužívejte, pokud spínač pro zapnutí a/
nebo vypnutí zařízení nefunguje správně. Zařízení,
které nelze ovládat spínačem, je nebezpečné a musí
být opraveno.
c) Vytáhněte zástrčku ze zásuvky před jakýmkoliv
seřízením, výměnou příslušenství nebo odložením
zařízení. Toto opatření snižuje riziko náhodného
zapnutí.

d) Nepoužívaná zařízení uchovávejte mimo dosah
dětí a osob, které nejsou seznámeny se zařízením
nebo návodem k obsluze. Zařízení jsou nebezpečná
v rukou nezkušených uživatelů.
e) Zařízení udržujte v dobrém technickém stavu.
Kontrolujte před každou prací jeho celkový stav
i jednotlivé díly a ujistěte se, že je vše v dobrém
stavu, a nehrozí tak uživateli při práci se zařízením
žádné nebezpečí. V případě zjištění poškození
nechte zařízení opravit.
f) Udržujte zařízení mimo dosah dětí.
g) Opravu a údržbu zařízení by měly provádět
pouze kvalikované osoby za výhradního použití
originálních náhradních dílů. Zajistí to bezpečné
používání zařízení.
h) Zabraňte situaci, kdy se zapnuté zařízení zastaví
vlivem velkého zatížení. Může to způsobit přehřátí
hnacích součástí a v následku poškození zařízení.
i) Pokud zařízení nebylo odpojeno od napájení,
nedotýkejte se rotujících dílů nebo součástí.
j) Uvedená emise vibrací byla změřena pomocí
standardních měřicích metod. Hodnota emise
vibrací se může změnit při používání zařízení v jiných
okolních podmínkách.
k) Před každým použitím a po každém úderu zařízením
zkontrolujte, zda nenese známky opotřebení nebo
poškození. V případě potřeby odevzdejte zařízení do
servisu.
a) Nepoužívejte zařízení s poškozeným, nesprávně
namontovaným nebo demontovaným krytem.
b) Vždy mějte ruce, chodidla a jiné části těla v bezpečné
vzdálenosti od řezacích prvků, především během
spouštění motoru zařízení.
c) Struna se stále otáčí setrvačnou silou i několik
sekund po vypnutí zařízení.
d) Vždy se ujistěte, že se v pracovní oblasti nenacházejí
kovové předměty nebo jiné materiály, které při
vymrštění řezacími prvky mohou způsobit poškození
majetku nebo tělesná zranění.
e) Při spouštění zařízení udržujte pozornost
a nepřibližujte se k řezacím prvkům.
f) Při spouštění zařízení mějte ruce v příslušné poloze.
Zařízení pevně držte za oba úchyty současně.
g) Když je zařízení zapnuté, sekací hlavice nesmí být
v kontaktu s podložím ani jakýmkoliv objektem.
Zařízení spouštějte, když je sekací hlavice rovnoběžně
s podložím.
h) Před každým spuštěním zkontrolujte, zda jsou
všechny šrouby a matice správně dotažené, sekací
hlavice není poškozená a je správně namontovaná.
i) Vytáhněte zástrčku ze zásuvky:
• před předáním zařízení jinému uživateli,
• před ponecháním zařízení bez dohledu (také na
několik minut),
• před odstraněním blokací z jakékoli části zařízení.
• před zahájením technické prohlídky, opravy, čištění
nebo provádění jakékoli údržby, jako např. výměna
struny,
• za účelem ověření technického stavu zařízení po
každém úderu.
j) Pokud zařízení vydává atypické zvuky nebo
abnormálně vibruje, okamžitě jej vypněte, vytáhněte
zástrčku ze zásuvky a zjistěte příčinu problému.
Nadměrné vibrace mohou poškodit zařízení a zranit
uživatele.

Zařízení je určeno k sekání trávy a plevele v místech, kam
se nedostanou běžné sekačky (např. pod keři nebo u okraje
trávníku).
Odpovědnost za veškeré škody vzniklé v důsledku
použití zařízení v rozporu s určením nese uživatel.
3.2. PŘÍPRAVA K PRÁCI
MONTÁŽ ZAŘÍZENÍ
Před montáží zkontrolujte, zda je zařízení odpojeno od
zdroje napájení.
• Montáž krytu
Zařízení musí být před použitím kompletně
smontované.
Pro namontování krytu otočte zařízení tak, aby bylo
možné se snadno dostat k sekací hlavici. Zasuňte kryt
do drážek nad hlavicí a zajistěte spoj pomocí šroubu.
• Bezpečné umístění napájecího kabelu
V dolní části hlavního úchytu se nachází háček
k zavěšení kabelu. Kabel zavěste na háček za účelem
zvýšení bezpečnosti práce se zařízením.
Pamatujte na to, aby hodnoty proudu, kterým je zařízení
napájeno, byly shodné s údaji uvedenými na technickém
štítku zařízení!
3.3. PRÁCE SE ZAŘÍZENÍM
Nastavení délky struny
V závislosti na použití zařízení se struna opotřebovává
a ztrácí účinnost. Automatický systém nastavení struny
umožňuje její prodloužení.
PAMATUJT! Při práci se zařízením chraňte děti a jiné
nepovolané osoby.
POZNÁMKA! Přestože zařízení bylo navrženo
tak, aby bylo bezpečné, mělo vhodná zabezpečení
i přes použití dodatečných zabezpečovacích prvků
uživatele, nadále existuje malé nebezpečí úrazu
nebo poranění při práci se zařízením. Doporučuje
se zachovat opatrnost a zdravý rozum při jeho
používání.

Pokud rychlost otáček klesne, okamžitě zařízení
vypněte a odpojte napájení, zkontrolujte příčinu
problému.
Odstraňte všechny materiály, které jsou blízko
krytu nebo sekací hlavice a před zahájením další
práce se zařízením zkontrolujte, zda nejsou tyto
prvky poškozeny. Všechny poškozené díly je nutné
vyměnit.
f) Po dokončení práce se zařízením jej vypněte
– uvolněte hlavní spínač a odpojte napájení.
Sekání trávy na menší výšku
Pro dosažení nižší výšky sekané trávy je nutné hlavici
během práce naklonit vlevo. Pozor: čím větší náklon vlevo,
tím nižší výška trávy.
3.4. ČIŠTĚNÍ A ÚDRŽBA
a) Před každým čištěním, seřízením, výměnou
příslušenství a také pokud zařízení nepoužíváte,
vytáhněte síťovou zástrčku a nechte zařízení úplně
vychladnout.
b) K čištění povrchů používejte výhradně prostředky
neobsahující žíravé látky.
c) Po každém čištění je nutno všechny prvky dobře
osušit, než bude zařízení opět použito.
d) Zařízení skladujte na suchém a chladném místě,
chráněném proti vlhkosti a přímému slunečnímu
svitu.
e) V žádném případě přístroj nelze mýt vodou.
f) Pamatujte, aby se přes ventilační otvory nacházející
se na krytu zařízení nedostala voda
g) Ventilační otvory čistěte pomocí štětečku
a stlačeného vzduchu
h) Zařízení pravidelně kontrolujte, zda je technicky
způsobilé a není poškozeno.
i) K čištění krytu a hlavice zařízení lze použít měkký
kartáč.
j) Během každé technické prohlídky, údržby a seřízení
zařízení důkladně vyčistěte a seřiďte strunu.

Za účelem prodloužení struny během práce zařízení lehce
zatlačte hlavicí o zem (nejlépe v místě, kde výška trávy
nemá větší význam, neboť to může také způsobit zkrácení
výšky trávy v tomto místě). Struna se vysune automaticky.
Ostří namontované na krytu odřízne přebytek struny
v příslušné délce.
Možné je také manuální vysunutí struny z cívky.
POZOR! Před manuálním uzpůsobováním délky struny
vždy odpojte zařízení od zdroje napájení.
a) Otočte zařízení tak, aby bylo možné se snadno
dostat k sekací hlavici se strunou.
b) Stiskněte středovou část hlavice a zatáhněte rukou za
strunu.
c) Uvolněte nátlak na hlavici a zkraťte strunu (např.
nůžkami) na požadovanou délku, nebo nechte
strunu zkrátit ostřím namontovaným na krytu
zařízení během práce.
Výměna cívky se strunou
Po spotřebování celé struny je nutné vyměnit cívku. Postup:
a) Odpojte zařízení od zdroje napájení.
b) Držte plastový plášť cívky a stiskněte dva klipsy, které
drží cívku na místě.
c) Odstraňte starou cívku.
d) Pro vložení nové cívky opakujte postup v opačném
pořadí. Nezapomeňte nejdříve protáhnout strunu
přes otvory v sekací hlavici.
UPOZORNĚNÍ! Ujistěte se, že cívka je správně
namontovaná. V opačném případě může být během
práce zařízení vymrštěna z hlavice.
Nastavení výšky zařízení
Pro nastavení vzdálenosti sekací hlavice od úchytů (výška):
a) Odšroubujte blokační matici mechanismu nastavení
výšky.
b) Nastavte požadovanou výšku.
c) Dotáhněte blokační matici mechanismu nastavení
výšky.
POZOR! Ujistěte se, že je upínací objímka správně
dotažená. Náhlý, svévolný posun sekací hlavice
během práce zařízení může způsobit ztrátu kontroly
nad zařízením a úraz.
Práce se zařízením
a) Před zahájením práce zkontrolujte pracovní oblast
a odstraňte všechny předměty nebo materiály, které
mohou být vymrštěny strunou, mohou se do ní
zamotat nebo způsobit její zablokování.
b) Udržujte stabilní polohu, držte zařízení před sebou
za hlavní a pomocný úchyt. Věnujte pozornost
tomu, aby se sekací hlavice neopírala o zem v době
spouštění zařízení.
c) Stiskněte a přidržte hlavní spínač zařízení.
d) Před zahájením operace vyčkejte, dokud struna
nedosáhne maximální rychlosti.
e) Držte sekací hlavici souběžně s podložím, pohybujte
zařízením zleva doprava, postupně snižujte výšku
sekání. Pokračujte v práci a posouvejte se vpřed,
dokud nebude dosaženo stejného výsledku v celé
pracovní oblasti.
Při sekání se pohybujte vždy vpřed. Je zakázáno
pohybovat se vzad, neboť existuje riziko zakopnutí
o překážky, které nemusí uživatel vidět. Nepohybujte
se směrem k lidem nebo pevným objektům, jako jsou
stěny, stromy, vozidla apod.

3. CONDITIONS D’UTILISATION
L’appareil est destiné à couper l’herbe ou la mauvaise

3.4. NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN

prolongée, débranchez l’appareil et laissez-le
refroidir complètement.
b) Pour nettoyer les diérentes surfaces, n’utilisez que
des produits sans agents corrosifs.

après chaque nettoyage avant de le réutiliser.
d) Conservez l’appareil dans un endroit frais et sec,
à l’abri de l’humidité et des rayons du soleil.

Remplacement de la bobine de l
Lorsque la bobine est vide, remplacez-la en procédant
comme suit:
a) Débranchez l’appareil.
b) Tenez la bobine en plastique et appuyez sur les deux
clips qui la maintiennent en place.
c) Enlevez la bobine vide.
d) Pour monter une nouvelle bobine, répéter la
procédure en sens inverse et rappelez-vous de
d’abord faire passer le l dans les ouvertures du
logement de la bobine.
AVERTISSEMENT! Vériez que la bobine est montée
correctement. Dans le cas contraire, la bobine peut
être éjectée de l’appareil pendant le fonctionnement.
Réglage de la hauteur de l’appareil
Pour régler la distance entre la bobine de l et les poignées
(hauteur), procédez comme suit:
a) Dévissez l’élément bloquant le mécanisme de

Utilisation de l’appareil
a) Avant d’utiliser l’appareil, contrôlez la zone de travail
et éliminez tout objet ou matériau pouvant être

b) En ayant une position stable, tenez l’appareil devant
vous à l’aide des poignées principale et d’appoint.

enfoncé.

travail en avançant, jusqu’à obtenir le résultat voulu

Lors de la coupe, déplacez-vous toujours vers l’avant.
Il est interdit de reculer, puisque vous pourriez
rencontrer des objets que vous n’avez pas vus. Ne
vous déplacez pas vers des gens ou vers des objets
xes, tels que des murs, des arbres, des véhicules,
etc... Si la vitesse de rotation diminue, éteignez
immédiatement l’appareil et débranchez-le pour
vérier l’origine du problème.

MONTAGE DE L’APPAREIL
Avant le montage, assurez-vous que l’appareil est bien
débranché.
• Montage du capot
L’appareil doit être intégralement monté avant
d’être utilisé.
Pour monter le capot, retournez l’appareil de sorte
que la bobine de l soit facilement atteignable.
Glissez le couvercle dans le long de la rainure située
au-dessus de la bobine de l et xez l’assemblage
à l’aide d’une vis.
• Positionnement sûr du cordon d’alimentation
Dans la partie inférieure de la poignée principale
se trouve un crochet permettant de diminuer la
tension exercée sur le câble. Suspendez-y le câble
an d’accroître la sécurité d’utilisation de l’appareil.
Veillez à ce que l’alimentation électrique de l’appareil
corresponde aux données de la plaque signalétique.
3.3. UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL

2.1. SICUREZZA ELETTRICA

è possibile controllare meglio il dispositivo in caso di
situazioni impreviste.
h) Non indossare indumenti larghi o gioielli. Tenere
capelli, indumenti e guanti lontano da parti in
movimento. Vestiti sciolti, gioielli o capelli lunghi
possono impigliarsi nelle parti in movimento.
i) Rimuovere tutti gli strumenti di regolazione o chiavi
prima di accendere l‘unità. Gli oggetti che rimangono
nelle parti rotanti possono condurre a danni e lesioni.

k) Durante il lavoro con il dispositivo indossare

Lo spostamento improvviso e automatico della testa di
taglio durante il funzionamento può causare la perdita
di controllo del dispositivo e causare un incidente.
Lavoro con il dispositivo
a) Controllare l‘area di lavoro prima di iniziare il
lavoro e rimuovere tutti gli oggetti o i materiali che
potrebbero essere espulsi dal trimmer, ingarbugliati
e quelli che potrebbero causarne il blocco.
b) Mantenendo la posizione stabile, tenere il dispositivo
di fronte a se stessi con la maniglia principale
e ausiliaria. Assicurarsi che la bobina del lo non
poggi sul terreno all’avvio della macchina.
c) Premere e tenere premuto l‘interruttore principale
del dispositivo.
d) Prima di iniziare il taglio attendere che il trimmer
raggiunga la velocità massima.
e) Tenendo la testa di taglio parallela al terreno,
spostare il dispositivo da sinistra a destra, riducendo
gradualmente l‘altezza di taglio. Continuare a lavorare
andando avanti no a ottenere lo stesso risultato
su tutta l‘area di lavoro. Durante il taglio andare
sempre in avanti. È vietato spostarsi all‘indietro
perché c‘è la possibilità di incontrare ostacoli che
l‘operatore potrebbe non vedere. Non spostarsi
verso persone o oggetti solidi, come muri, alberi,
veicoli, ecc. Se la velocità di rotazione diminuisce,
spegnere immediatamente il dispositivo e scollegare
l‘alimentazione per vericare la causa del problema.
Rimuovere tutti i materiali rimasti vicino alla guaina
o alla testa di taglio e controllare che le parti non
siano danneggiate prima di riprendere a lavorare
con il dispositivo. Tutte le parti danneggiate devono
essere sostituite.
f) Una volta terminato il lavoro con il dispositivo,
spegnerlo rilasciando l‘interruttore principale
e scollegarlo dall‘alimentazione.
Taglio ad un‘altezza inferiore
Per ottenere un‘altezza inferiore dell‘erba tagliata, inclinare
la testa di taglio verso sinistra durante il funzionamento
del dispositivo. Nota: maggiore è la pendenza a sinistra,
minore sarà l‘altezza dell‘erba.
3.4. PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
a) Prima di pulire o regolare il dispositivo, prima
di sostituire gli accessori o quando il dispositivo
non viene utilizzato, staccare la spina e lasciarlo
rareddare completamente.
b) Per pulire la supercie utilizzare solo detergenti
senza ingredienti corrosivi.
c) Dopo la pulizia, prima di riutilizzare l‘apparecchio,
asciugare tutte le parti.
d) Tenere l‘apparecchio in un luogo asciutto, fresco,
protetto dall‘umidità e dalla luce diretta del sole.
e) È vietato versare o spruzzare acqua sulla macchina.
f) Evitare che l‘acqua entri nell‘alloggiamento
attraverso le aperture di ventilazione.
g) Le aperture di ventilazione devono essere pulite con
una spazzola e aria compressa.
h) Eettuare controlli regolari del dispositivo per
mantenerlo eciente e privo di danni.
i) È consentito utilizzare una spazzola morbida per
pulire il cappuccio e la testa del dispositivo.
j) Pulire e regolare con cura il trimmer durante ogni
ispezione tecnica, manutenzione e regolazione del
dispositivo.

3.2. PREPARAZIONE AL FUNZIONAMENTO
MONTAGGIO DEL DISPOSITIVO
Prima dell‘assemblaggio, assicurarsi che il dispositivo sia
scollegato dall‘alimentazione.
• Montaggio del cappuccio di protezione
Il dispositivo deve essere completamente
assemblato per usarlo. Per assemblare il cappuccio
protettivo ruotare il dispositivo in modo che sia
facile raggiungere la testa di taglio. Inserire il carter
nella scanalatura sopra la testa di taglio e ssare il
collegamento con la vite.
• Posizionamento sicuro del cavo di alimentazione
Nella parte inferiore dell’impugnatura principale
c‘è un gancio per appendere il cavo. Il cavo deve
essere appeso al gancio per aumentare la sicurezza
del dispositivo.
Assicurarsi che l‘alimentazione corrisponda a quella
indicata sul quadro tecnico del prodotto.
3.3. LAVORARE CON IL DISPOSITIVO
Regolazione della lunghezza del lo di taglio
A seconda dell‘applicazione del dispositivo, il lo di
taglio si consuma e perde le sue prestazioni. Il sistema di
regolazione automatica del trimmer consente di aumentare
la sua lunghezza.
Per estendere il trimmer, premere leggermente la testa
contro il suolo durante il funzionamento del dispositivo
(possibilmente in un luogo dove la lunghezza dell‘erba
non ha importanza perché esso può anche accorciare
l‘altezza dell‘erba in questo luogo). Il trimmer si allungherà
automaticamente. La lama montata sul cappuccio
protettivo taglierà il trimmer in eccesso.
È anche possibile estrarre manualmente il trimmer dalla
bobina. NOTA! Scollegare il dispositivo dall‘alimentazione
quando si regola manualmente la lunghezza del trimmer.
a) Girare il dispositivo in modo che sia facile
raggiungere la testa di taglio con il cavo.
b) Premere sulla parte centrale della testa di taglio
e tirare il cavo a mano.
c) Liberare la pressione sulla testa e tagliare il trimmer
(ad esempio con le forbici) alla lunghezza desiderata
o lasciare che il lo venga tagliato dalla lama montata
sul carter del dispositivo mentre è in funzione.
Sostituzione della bobina del lo
Dopo aver utilizzato l‘intero lo, sostituire la bobina con
una nuova. A tal ne:
a) Scollegare il dispositivo dall‘alimentazione
b) Tenendo l‘involucro di plastica della bobina, premere
le due clip che ssano la bobina in posizione.
c) Rimuovere la vecchia bobina.
d) Per assemblare una nuova bobina, ripetere la
procedura in ordine inverso, ricordando di tirare
prima i cavi attraverso i fori nella testa di taglio.
ATTENZIONE! Assicurarsi che la bobina sia montata
correttamente. Altrimenti, essa può essere espulsa
dalla testa durante il funzionamento del dispositivo.
Regolazione in altezza del dispositivo
Per regolare la distanza bobina del lo dall’impugnatura
(altezza):
a) Allentare il blocco di regolazione del manico.
b) Impostare l‘altezza desiderata.
c) Avvitare il blocco di regolazione del manico.
NOTA! Assicurarsi che il manicotto di serraggio sia
serrato correttamente.
2.4. USO SICURO DEL DISPOSITIVO
a) Non far surriscaldare il dispositivo. Utilizzare
strumenti appropriati. Dispositivi scelti correttamente
e un attento utilizzo degli stessi portano a risultati
migliori.
b) Non utilizzare il dispositivo se l‘interruttore ON/
OFF non funziona correttamente (non accendere
o spegnere l‘unità). I dispositivi con interruttore
difettoso sono pericolosi quindi devono essere
riparati.
c) Prima della regolazione, della sostituzione degli
accessori o dello stoccaggio, estrarre la spina dalla
presa. Tali misure preventive riducono il rischio di
avviamento accidentale.
d) Gli strumenti inutilizzati devono essere tenuti fuori
dalla portata dei bambini e delle persone che non
hanno familiarità con l‘unità e le istruzioni. Nelle
mani di persone inesperte, questo apparecchio può
rappresentare un pericolo.
e) Mantenere l‘apparecchio in perfette condizioni.
Prima di ogni utilizzo, vericare che non vi siano
danni generali o danni alle parti mobili (frattura
di parti e componenti o altre condizioni che
potrebbero compromettere il funzionamento sicuro
della macchina). In caso di danni, l‘unità deve essere
riparata prima dell‘uso.
f) Tenere il dispositivo fuori dalla portata dei bambini.
g) La riparazione e la manutenzione dell‘attrezzatura
devono essere eseguite esclusivamente da personale
specializzato qualicato e con pezzi di ricambio
originali. Ciò garantisce la sicurezza durante l‘uso.
h) Evitare situazioni in cui l‘unità si arresta a causa di un
carico eccessivo durante il funzionamento. Ciò può
causare il surriscaldamento dei componenti e quindi
danni all‘apparecchio.
i) Non toccare parti mobili o accessori senza aver
scollegato il dispositivo dall‘alimentazione.
j) Il valore di emissione di vibrazioni dichiarato viene
misurato con metodi di misurazione standard. Il
valore di emissione delle vibrazioni può cambiare
se il dispositivo viene utilizzato in altre condizioni di
lavoro.
k) Prima di ogni utilizzo e dopo ogni impatto, vericare
che il dispositivo non presenti segni di usura o danni.
Se necessario, si prega di inviarle il dispositivo per la
riparazione.
l) Non utilizzare il dispositivo con un coperchio
danneggiato, montato in modo errato o smontato.
m) Tenere sempre le mani, i piedi e le altre parti del
corpo lontani dagli elementi taglienti, specialmente
all’avvio del motore.
n) Il trimmer continua a ruotare con la forza di inerzia
per alcuni secondi dopo lo spegnimento del
dispositivo.
o) Assicurarsi sempre che non vi siano oggetti metallici
o altri materiali nell‘area di lavoro che scartati dagli
elementi taglienti potrebbero causare danni alla
proprietà o lesioni personali.
p) All’avvio del dispositivo, fare attenzione e non
avvicinarsi agli elementi di taglio.
q) Assicurarsi che le mani siano nella giusta posizione
all’avvio del dispositivo. Tenere saldamente
il dispositivo con entrambe le impugnature
contemporaneamente.
r) Quando il dispositivo è acceso, la testa di taglio non
deve entrare in contatto con il terreno o qualsiasi
altro oggetto. Accendere il dispositivo quando la
testa di taglio è parallela al terreno.
s) Prima di ogni avvio assicurarsi che tutti i dadi e i bulloni
siano correttamente serrati e che la testa di taglio non
sia danneggiata e sia installata correttamente.
t) Disconnettere la spina del dispositivo
dall‘alimentatore:
• prima di consegnare il dispositivo ad un altro utente
• prima di lasciare l‘apparecchio incustodito (anche
per alcuni minuti).
• prima di rimuovere blocchi da qualsiasi parte del
dispositivo
• prima dell‘ispezione tecnica, riparazione
o pulizia o prima di eseguire qualsiasi intervento di
manutenzione, come sostituzione dei trimmer.
• per vericare le sue condizioni tecniche dopo ogni
impatto con il dispositivo
u) Se il dispositivo emette rumori insoliti
o raggiunge un livello errato di vibrazioni, spegnerlo
immediatamente, rimuovere la spina dalla presa
e vericare la causa del problema. Vibrazioni
eccessive possono danneggiare il dispositivo e ferire
l‘utente.
3. CONDIZIONI D‘USO
Il dispositivo è progettato per tagliare l‘erba e le erbe
infestanti in luoghi inaccessibili alle falciatrici (ad esempio
sotto i cespugli o proprio vicino al bordo del prato).
L‘operatore è responsabile di tutti i danni derivanti da
un uso improprio.
ATTENZIONE! Anche se l‘apparecchiatura
è stata progettata per essere sicura, sono presenti
degli ulteriori meccanismi di sicurezza. Malgrado
l‘applicazione di queste misure supplementari di
sicurezza sussiste comunque il rischio di ferirsi. Si

2.1. SEGURIDAD ELÉCTRICA
a) La clavija del aparato debe ser compatible con el
enchufe. No cambie la clavija bajo ningún concepto.
Las clavijas originales y los enchufes apropiados
disminuyen el riesgo de descarga eléctrica.
b) Evite tocar componentes conectados a tierra, como
tuberías, radiadores, hornos y refrigeradores. Existe
un mayor riesgo de descarga eléctrica si su cuerpo
está conectado a tierra mediante supercies mojadas
o en ambientes húmedos. Si entrara agua en el
aparato aumentaría el riesgo de daños y descargas
eléctricas.
c) No toque el dispositivo con las manos mojadas
o húmedas.
d) No utilice el cable de manera inadecuada. Nunca tire
de él para desplazar el aparato o para desconectarlo
del enchufe. Por favor, mantenga el cable alejado

accidentes. Tenga cuidado, preste atención al trabajo
que está realizando y use el sentido común cuando
utilice el dispositivo.
b) No utilice el aparato en atmósferas potencialmente
explosivas, p. ej. en la cercanía de líquidos,
gases o polvo inamables. Bajo determinadas
circunstancias los aparatos generan chispas que
pueden inamar polvo o vapores circundantes.
c) En caso de avería o mal funcionamiento, apague el
aparato y contacte con el servicio técnico autorizado.
d) Si no está seguro de que la unidad funcione
correctamente, póngase en contacto con el servicio
técnico del fabricante.
e) Las reparaciones solo pueden ser realizadas por

2.3. SEGURIDAD PERSONAL
a) No está permitido utilizar el aparato en estado de

j) Este aparato no es un juguete. Debe controlar que
los niños no jueguen con él.
k) Durante el trabajo con el dispositivo debe utilizar
calzado adecuado y pantalones largos.
l) Debe tener cuidado para evitar lesiones corporales
en el transcurso del uso de los dispositivos
adaptados para el recorte del cable de corte.
m) Debe tener cuidado para evitar lesiones corporales
causadas con la cuchilla situada en la cubierta
y destinada al recorte del cable de corte. Después
de ajustar la longitud del cable de corte, debe
girar el dispositivo para que quede en posición de
funcionamiento habitual.

También es posible extraer manualmente el cable de corte
del carrete.
¡ATENCIÓN! Debe desconectar el dispositivo de la
alimentación durante el ajuste manual de la longitud del
cable de corte.
a) Gire el dispositivo de modo que pueda acceder
fácilmente al cabezal de corte del cable.
b) Presione la parte central del cabezal de corte y tire
del cable con la mano.
c) Suelte la presión en el cabezal y recorte el cable
de corte (p.ej. con tijeras) a la longitud deseada
o permita que lo corte la cuchilla montada en el
protector durante el funcionamiento del dispositivo.
Reemplazo del carrete (cabezal de corte)
Cuando todo el cable esté gastado, reemplace el carrete
del cable por uno nuevo. Para ello:
a) Desconecte el dispositivo de la fuente de
alimentación.
b) Mientras sujeta la carcasa de plástico del carrete,
presione los dos clips que mantienen el carrete en su
lugar.
c) Retire el carrete desgastado.
d) Para montar un nuevo carrete, repita el
procedimiento en orden inverso, recordando que
primero debe pasar los cables por los oricios en el
cabezal de corte.
¡ADVERTENCIA! Asegúrese que el carrete está
montado correctamente. De lo contrario, el carrete
podría salir proyectado de su soporte durante el
funcionamiento del dispositivo.
Ajuste de altura del dispositivo
Para ajustar la distancia entre el cabezal de corte y las
empuñaduras (altura):
a) Aoje la tuerca de bloqueo del mecanismo de ajuste
de altura.
b) Ajuste la altura deseada.
c) Apriete la tuerca de bloqueo del mecanismo de
ajuste de altura.
¡ATENCIÓN! Asegúrese que el casquillo de apriete
está correctamente apretado. Un desplazamiento
repentino y automático del cabezal de corte durante
el funcionamiento del dispositivo puede provocar
una pérdida de control del dispositivo y causar un
accidente.
Trabajo con el dispositivo
a) Revise el área de trabajo antes de iniciar el trabajo
y elimine todos los objetos o materiales que puedan
salir proyectados por el cable de corte, enredarse en
el mismo o provocar su obstrucción.
b) Manteniendo una posición rme, mantenga el
dispositivo delante de usted y sujételo por las
empuñaduras principal y auxiliar. Debe prestar
atención a que el cabezal de corte no se apoye en
el suelo en el momento de la puesta en marcha del
dispositivo.
c) Presione y mantenga pulsado el interruptor principal
del dispositivo.
d) Antes de iniciar la operación de corte, espere hasta
que el cable de corte alcance su velocidad máxima.
e) Manteniendo el cabezal de corte paralelo al suelo,
desplace el dispositivo del lado izquierdo al derecho,
reduciendo la altura de corte gradualmente.
3.2. PREPARACIÓN PARA LA PUESTA EN MARCHA
MONTAJE DE LA MÁQUINA
Antes del montaje asegúrese que el dispositivo está
desconectado de la fuente de alimentación.
• Montaje del protector
Para poder utilizarlo, el dispositivo debe estar
montado por completo.
Para montar el protector, gire el dispositivo de tal
modo que el fácil acceso al cabezal de corte quede
garantizado. Inserte el protector en la ranura situada
encima del cabezal de corte y proteja la unión con
un tornillo.
• Situación segura del cable de alimentación
En la parte inferior de la empuñadura principal se
encuentra un gancho para colgar el cable. El cable
debe colgarse en el gancho para aumentar la
seguridad del trabajo con el dispositivo.
Asegúrese de que las características del suministro eléctrico
se corresponden con las indicaciones que aparecen en la
placa características del artículo.
3.3. MANEJO DEL APARATO
Ajuste de longitud del cable de corte
Dependiendo de la aplicación del dispositivo, el cable de
corte se desgasta y pierde su rendimiento. El sistema de
ajuste automático del cable permite aumentar su longitud.
Para alargar el cable de corte, presione suavemente el
cabezal hacia el suelo durante el funcionamiento del
dispositivo (el mejor lugar para hacerlo es donde la
longitud del césped no tenga mucha importancia ya que
la operación puede causar el corte de césped en esta área).
El cable se extraerá automáticamente. La cuchilla montada
en el protector cortará el exceso del cable a la longitud
adecuada.

n) No monte piezas de corte metálicas en el dispositivo.
o) Siempre debe asegurarse que las aberturas de
ventilación del dispositivo estén libres de suciedad
(p.ej. piedras, residuos de hierbas, ramas, hojas).
p) Durante las revisiones técnicas o al realizar ajustes,
siempre debe comprobar si es necesario reemplazar
el cable de corte.
q) Un dispositivo incompleto o modicado puede ser
peligroso y no debe utilizarse.
2.4. MANEJO SEGURO DEL APARATO
a) No permita que el aparato se sobrecaliente. Utilice
las herramientas apropiadas para cada trabajo.
Debe seleccionarse el aparato adecuado para cada
aplicación y utilizarse conforme al n para el que
ha sido diseñado, para conseguir así los mejores
resultados.
b) No utilice la unidad si el interruptor ON/OFF no
funcionara correctamente (no enciende o apaga).
Los aparatos que no pueden ser controlados por
interruptores son peligrosos. Estos pueden y deben
ser reparados.
c) Antes de ajustar o cambiar accesorios o desmontar
herramientas, desconecte el enchufe de la toma
de corriente. Estas medidas preventivas reducen el
riesgo de una puesta en marcha accidental.
d) Mantenga las herramientas fuera del alcance de los
niños y de las personas que no estén familiarizadas
con el equipo en sí o no hayan recibido instrucciones
pertinentes para su uso. En manos de personas
inexpertas este equipo puede representar un peligro.
e) Mantenga el aparato en perfecto estado
de funcionamiento. Antes de cada trabajo,
compruébelo en busca de daños generales o en
piezas móviles (fractura de piezas y componentes
u otras condiciones que puedan perjudicar el
funcionamiento seguro de la máquina). En caso de
daños, el aparato debe ser reparado antes de volver
a ponerse en funcionamiento.
f) Mantenga la unidad fuera del alcance de los niños.
g) La reparación y el mantenimiento de los equipos
solo pueden ser realizados por personal cualicado
y siempre empleando piezas de repuesto originales.
Esto garantiza la seguridad durante el uso.
h) Evite situaciones en las que el aparato haya
de trabajar en exceso. Esto podría ocasionar el
sobrecalentamiento de sus componentes y con ello
daños en el equipo.
i) No toque ninguna pieza o accesorio móvil a menos
que el aparato haya sido desconectado de la
corriente eléctrica.
j) El valor especicado de emisión de vibraciones
se determina mediante métodos de medición
normalizados. El valor emisión de vibración
puede cambiar dependiendo de las condiciones
ambientales en las que se utilice el aparato.
k) Antes de cada uso y después de cada golpe en
el dispositivo debe comprobar que el mismo no
presente signos de desgaste o daños. Si es necesario,
envíelo a reparar.
l) No utilice el dispositivo, bien con la cubierta dañada
o incorrectamente montada, bien con la cubierta
desmontada.
m) Siempre mantenga las manos, los pies y otras partes
del cuerpo lejos de las piezas de corte, en particular
durante la puesta en marcha del dispositivo.
n) El cable de corte seguirá girando por inercia unos
segundos después de apagar el dispositivo.
o) Siempre asegúrese de que en el área de trabajo
no haya objetos de metal u otros materiales que,
proyectados por las piezas de corte, puedan causar
daños materiales o lesiones corporales.
p) Al encender el dispositivo tenga cuidado y no se
acerque a las piezas de corte.
q) Asegúrese de que las manos estén en una posición
adecuada en el momento de la puesta en marcha
del dispositivo. Sujete el dispositivo con rmeza por
ambas empuñaduras a la vez.
r) El cabezal de corte no puede entrar en contacto
con el suelo ni con ningún objeto durante el
funcionamiento del dispositivo. El dispositivo debe
encenderse cuando el cabezal de corte esté en una
posición paralela al suelo.
s) Antes de cada puesta en marcha, asegúrese de que
todas las tuercas y tornillos estén bien apretados
y de que el cabezal de corte esté libre de daños
y correctamente montado.
t) Debe desconectar el enchufe del dispositivo de la
fuente de alimentación:
• antes de entregar el dispositivo a otro usuario,
• antes de dejar el dispositivo desatendido (incluso
durante unos minutos),
• antes de eliminar obstrucciones de cualquier parte
del dispositivo,
• antes de iniciar cualquier tipo de revisión técnica,
reparación, limpieza o conservación, como por
ejemplo el reemplazo de los cables de corte,
• para comprobar las condiciones técnicas del
dispositivo después de cada golpe.
u) Si el dispositivo produjera sonidos o vibraciones
extraños, debe apagarlo de inmediato y comprobar
la causa del problema. Las vibraciones excesivas
pueden dañar el dispositivo y causar lesiones al
usuario.
3. INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
El dispositivo está diseñado para cortar césped o malas
hierbas en lugares inaccesibles para los cortacéspedes (p.ej.
debajo de arbustos o al lado de los bordes del césped).
El usuario es responsable de los daños derivados de un
uso inadecuado del aparato.
¡ATENCIÓN! Aunque en la fabricación de
este aparato se ha prestado gran importancia
a la seguridad, dispone de ciertos mecanismos de
protección extras. A pesar del uso de elementos de
seguridad adicionales, existe el riesgo de lesiones
durante el funcionamiento, por lo que se recomienda
proceder con precaución y sentido común.

Continúe el trabajo desplazándose hacia delante
hasta obtener el mismo resultado en toda el área de
trabajo.
Durante el corte, muévase siempre hacia delante.
Se prohíbe el movimiento hacia atrás ya que existe
la posibilidad de toparse con obstáculos invisibles
para el operador. No se desplace en dirección
de personas u objetos jos, tales como paredes,
árboles, vehículos, etc. Si la velocidad de giro
disminuye, apague inmediatamente el dispositivo
y desconecte la alimentación para comprobar la
causa del problema.
Elimine todos los materiales que se encuentren en
la proximidad del protector o del cabezal de corte
y, antes de volver a trabajar con el dispositivo,
compruebe que ningún elemento presente daños.
Todas las piezas dañadas deben reemplazarse.
f) Al nalizar el trabajo con el dispositivo, apáguelo
soltando el interruptor principal y desconecte de la
fuente de alimentación.
Corte de césped a una altura más baja
Para obtener una altura más baja del césped a cortar,
incline el cabezal de corte hacia la izquierda. Atención:
cuanto mayor sea la inclinación hacia la izquierda, tanto
más baja será la altura del césped.
3.4. LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
a) Antes de limpiar y ajustar, sustituir accesorios
o cuando no tenga previsto utilizar el equipo,
desenchufe el cable de alimentación y deje que la
unidad se enfríe completamente.
b) Para limpiar la supercie, utilice solo productos que
no contengan sustancias corrosivas.
c) Después de cada limpieza, deje secar bien todas las
piezas antes de volver a utilizar el aparato.
d) Guarde el aparato en un lugar seco, fresco
y protegido de la humedad y la radiación solar
directa.
e) Se prohíbe rociar la máquina con agua u otros
líquidos.
f) Evite que el agua se introduzca por los oricios de
ventilación de la carcasa en el interior.
g) Las aberturas de ventilación deben limpiarse con un
pincel y aire comprimido.
h) En lo que respecta a la eciencia técnica y posibles
daños, el dispositivo debe ser revisado regularmente.
i) Se permite utilizar un cepillo suave para limpiar el
protector y el cabezal del dispositivo.
j) Limpie minuciosamente y ajuste el cable de corte en
cada revisión técnica, mantenimiento o ajuste del
dispositivo.
