このたびは、HIOKI Z4006 USB メモリをご選定いただき、誠にあ
りがとうございます。この製品を十分にご活用いただき、末長くご
使用いただくためにも、取扱説明書はていねいに扱い、大切に保管
してください。
Z4006を以降「本製品」と記載します。
概要
本製品は、弊社の USBメモリ対応製品用の USBメモリです。
ご使用方法は、接続機器の取扱説明書をご覧ください。

次の事項に関して、弊社は一切責任を負いません。
• 火災、地震、第三者による行為、その他の事故、お客様の故意また
は過失、誤用、その他異常な条件下でのご使用による損害
• 本製品の使用または使用不能から生じた損害および付随的な損害

警告
お客様での改造、分解、修理はしないでください。火災や感
電事故、けがの原因になります。
本製品を乳幼児の手が届かないところに保管してください。
踏みつけによるけがや誤飲などのおそれがあります。
注意
本製品は防滴構造となっていますが、端子部に水滴などが付
着したまま使用しないでください。火災や感電事故、データ
破損や消失の原因になります。
重要
本製品内に記憶されたデータは、故障や損害の内容・原因に関わ
らず補償しかねます。本製品内の大切なデータは必ずバックアッ
プをおとりください。
データの破損・消失のおそれがありますので、次のことをお守りく
ださい。
• 端子部や接続面に直接触れたり、金属を接触させたりしない。
• データの書き込みまたは読み込み中に、振動や衝撃を与えたり、電
源を切ったり、機器から取り外したりしない。
• 本製品を初期化する前に、本製品内に必要なデータがないことを確
認する。初期化するとデータはすべて削除されます。
• 本製品を曲げたり、強い衝撃を与えたり、落としたりしない。
USBメモリはフラッシュメモリを使用しているため、書き換えるこ
とができる回数が限られています。データの書き換えを繰り返すと、
データの記憶や取り込みができなくなります。この場合は、新しい
ものをお買い求めください。

Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Hioki Z4006 USB Drive. To
obtain maximum performance from the device over the long
term, be sure to read this manual carefully, and keep it handy
for future reference.
Overview
The Z4006 is for use with Hioki instruments that support USB
drives. For usage procedures, refer to the instruction manual
of the instrument to which the device will be connected.

Hioki will not be held liable for the following:

other accidents, whether or not intended or caused by
the customer, or damages resulting from use in abnormal
conditions

Safety Information
This manual contains information and warnings essential for
safe operation of the product and for maintaining it in safe
operating condition. Before using it, be sure to carefully read

Operating environment
WARNING
Do not use or store the drive in places such as those
listed below. Doing so may damage the drive or result in
data loss.
• Locations where the drive would be exposed to
static electricity
• Exposed to direct sunlight, exposed to high
temperature
• In the presence of corrosive or explosive gases
• Exposed to strong electromagnetic fields, near
electromagnetic radiator
• Near induction heating systems (e.g., high-
frequency induction heating systems and IH
cooking utensils)
• Subject to vibration
• Exposed to water, oil, other chemicals, or solvents
• Exposed to high humidity or condensation
• Exposed to high levels of particulate dust
Follow these precautions to ensure safe operation and to
obtain the full benefits of the various functions.
WARNING
Customers are not allowed to modify, disassemble,
or repair the device. Doing so may cause a fire, an
electric shock, or a injury.
Keep out of reach of infants as they may injure
themselves by stepping on or ingesting it.
CAUTION
The drive is designed to be drip-proof but should not
be used if there are water droplets or moisture on the
connector. Doing so may result in fire, electric shock,
data corruption, or data loss.
IMPORTANT
No compensation is available for loss of data stored on the
device, regardless of the content or cause of damage or
loss. Be sure to back up any important data stored on the
device.
Observe the following to avoid corruption or loss of stored
data:
• Do not touch the electrical contacts on the device or inside
the insertion slot with your skin or metallic objects.
• While writing or reading data, avoid vibration or shock, and
do not turn the power off or remove the device from the
instrument.
• Before formatting (initializing) the device, confirm that it
contains no important information (files).
• Do not bend or drop the device, or otherwise subject it to
intense shock.
USB drives use flash memory that can only be overwritten a
limited number of times. Repeatedly overwriting the data on
the drive will compromise its ability to store or retrieve data. In
that case, replace the USB drive with a new one.
