
Cleaning and Care

(including exterior and interior accessories)

s ould be cleaned at least every two
mont s.
Warning!
To avoid electrical s ock, t e appliance
must not be connected to t e main power
supply during cleaning. Before cleaning,
switc t e appliance off and remove t e
plug from t e main socket.
Exterior cleaning
●
To maintain good appearance of your
appliance, you s ould clean it regularly.
Spray water onto a cleaning clot instead
of spraying directly on t e surface of t e
appliance. T is elps ensure an even
distribution of moisture to t e surface.
Clean t e doors, andles and cabinet
surfaces wit a mild detergent and t en
wipe dry wit a soft clot .
Caution!
Don’t use s arp objects to clean wit , as
t ey are likely to scratc t e surface.
Don’t use T inner, Car detergent, bleac ,
et ereal oil, abrasive cleansers or organic
solvent suc as Benzene for cleaning.
T ey may damage t e surface of t e
appliance and may cause fire.
Interior cleaning
You s ould clean t e appliance interior
regularly. It will be easier to clean w en
food stocks are low. Wipe t e inside of t e
fridge freezer wit a weak solution of
backing soda and water, and t en rinse
wit warm water using a wrung-out
sponge or clot . Wipe completely dry
before replacing t e s elves and baskets.
T oroug ly dry all surfaces and removable
parts before putting t em back into place.
T is appliance manually defrosts, a layer
of frost may occur on t e fridge
compartment’s interior walls if t e fridge
door is opened frequently or kept open too
long. If t e frost is too t ick, c oose a time
w en t e fridge is nearly empty and
proceed as follows:
1. Remove existing food and accessories
baskets, unplug t e appliance from t e
main power and leave t e doors open.
Ventilate t e room t oroug ly to
accelerate t e process.
2. W en defrosting is completed, clean
your fridge as described above.
Warning!
Do not use s arp objects to remove frost
from t e freezer compartment. Only after
t e interior is completely dry s ould t e
appliance be switc ed back on and
plugged back into t e main socket.
Door seals cleaning
Take care to keep door seals clean. Sticky
food and drinks can cause seals to stick to
t e cabinet and tear w en you open t e
door. Was seal wit a mild detergent and
warm water. Rinse and dry it t oroug ly
after cleaning.
Caution! Only after t e door seals are
completely dry s ould t e appliance be
powered on.
