DONTs
DONT contin e to operate the eq ipment if
yo are in any do bt abo t it working nor-
mally, or if it is damaged in any way switch
off, withdraw the mains pl g and cons lt yo r
dealer.
DONT place water filled vessels on top of
T.V. cabinets.
DONT remove any fixed cover as this may
expose dangero s voltages.
DONT leave eq ipment switched on when it
is nattended nless it is specifically stated
that it is designed for nattended operation or
has a stand-by mode. Switch off sing the
switch on the eq ipment and make s re yo r
family know how to do this. Special arrange-
ments may need to be made for infirm or
handicapped people.
DONT se eq ipment s ch as personal ste-
reos or radios so that yo are distracted from
the req irements of traffic safety. It is illegal
to watch television whilst driving.
DONT obstr ct the ventilation of the eq ip-
ment, for example with c rtains or soft f r-
nishings. Overheating will ca se damage
and shorten the life of the eq ipment.
DONT se makeshift stands and NEVER fix
legs or stands to the TV with any screws
other than those provided - to ens re com-
plete safety always se the man fact rers
approved stand with the fixings provided.
DONT allow electrical eq ipment to be ex-
posed to rain or moist re.

NEVER let anyone, especially children
push anything into holes, slots or any
other opening in the case - this could re-
sult in a fatal electric shock.
NEVER guess or take chances with elec-
trical equipment of any kind - it is better to
be safe than sorry
1. Power
Always se the provided AC adaptor.
Operate only from the power so rce specified
on the AC adaptor.
In sing, the AC adaptor gets heat on the s r-
face of the case. It is normal, not defective.
Do not cover the case of AC adaptor with any
material while it is in operation. Leave 15 cm
space (minim m) aro nd the AC adaptor.
The rating information and safety ca tion of
the AC adaptor are on its case.
Warning: When the device is not in se for a
long time, disconnect from power.
2.Power ord
Do not place the set, a piece of t rnit re, etc.
on the power cord (mains lead) or pinch the
cord. Handle the power cord by the pl g Do
not p ll o t the pl g by t gging the cord and
never to ch the power cord when yo r hands
are wet as this co ld ca se a short circ it or
electric shock Never make a knot in the cord
or tie it with other cords. The power cords
sho ld be placed in s ch a way that they are
not likely to be stepped on A damaged power
cord can ca se fire or give yo an electric
shock. When it is damaged and need to be
changed, it sho ld be done by q alified per-
sonnel.
3. Moisture and Water
Do not se this eq ipment in a h mid and
damp place (avoid the bathroom, the sink in
the kitchen, and near the washing machine).
Do not expose this eq ipment to rain or wa-
ter, as this may be dangero s and do not
place objects filled with liq ids, s ch as
flower vases, on top of the set.Avoid from
dripping or splashing. If any solid object or
liq id falls into the cabinet, npl g the set
and have it checked by q alified personnel
before operating it any f rther.
4. leaning
Before cleaning, npl g the adaptor from the
wall o tlet. Do not se liq id or aerosol
cleaners. Use soft and dry cloth.
