• Always use the supplied mains lead
provided with your amplifier. If a
replacement is needed, please contact
your Hiwatt Dealer.
• Never attempt to by-pass fuses or fit ones
of incorrect value.
• Do not attempt to remove the amplifier
chassis, there are no user serviceable parts.
• All servicing should be carried out by a
professionally qualified service technician.
• Never use an amplifier in wet or damp
conditions.
• Always unplug this amplifier during
lightning storms or when unused for
prolonged periods of time.
• Protect the power cord from being walked
on or pinched.
• Do not switch the amplifier on without
the loudspeaker connected. It is important
that the amplifier and speaker are matched
at the correct impedance. Failure to do so
can result in damage to the amplifier or
speaker.
• Please ensure that the voltage selector/
indicator matches the supply voltage of
the country in which the amplifier is being
used.
• Always ensure free movement of
air around the amplifier to prevent
overheating.
• Never modify or make changes to
equipment or use in an unapproved
manner

AMPLIFIER FEATURES*
Input - Plug your guitar in here with a 1/4” jack.
Aux - Plug in an external audio device here with a 3.5mm jack.
Channel Select - Choose between Normal Gain and Overdrive Gain channels. The red LED indicates
when the Overdrive Gain channel is selected.
Normal Gain - This controls the level of Normal Gain applied to the input.
Overdrive Gain - This controls the level of Overdrive Gain applied to the input.
Bass - Adjusts the level of low frequency.
Middle - Adjusts the level of middle frequency.
Toneshift - Pull to adjust the frequencies centred around 500hz.
Treble - Adjusts the level of treble frequency.
Reverb - Adjusts the level of reverb effect.
Master Volume - Controls the volume of the amplifier - always set the control completely anticlockwise (off)
when turning on or off the amplifier. (caution: wear hearing protection when applicable).
LED - This LED will light up when the power is on.
Standby - The Standby switch allows the valves to heat to the optimum working temperature. Leave switched
off when turning the Power on and allow 2 - 3 minutes before turning on. Correct use of the Standby switch
will prolong the lifespan of the amplifiers tubes.
Power - Turns the amplifier’s power on and off.

purchaser must obtain permission to ship any/all product prior to shipping.

Mains Input - Connect with correct power cable
Triode/Pentode - Switchable output power. Switches from Full Power (Pentode) to Half Power
(Triode), allowing you to drive the valves at the same level at a lower volume.
Ext.Speaker - The Combo version connects to the 8 Ohm Fane speaker within the cabinet. The
Head version connects to an external speaker at a minimum impedance of 8 Ohm
Line Output - Connects to a unit with a level line input
Send - Connects to the input of an external effects pedal, rack or processor
Return - Connects to the output of an external effects pedal, rack or processor
Foot switch - Connects optional FS201 foot switch to select channel and turn reverb on/off
