Congratulations for purchasing new Mobile type Air Conditioner HMCZ 95 F.
Your Mobile type Air Conditioner has been developed and manufactured in accordance with
standards of the state of the art technology.
Three operating modes are available: Cooling, Deumidify and Heating.
Please read carefully the following operating istructions before connecting your Unit to the power
supply, in order to prevent damage from improper use.
Pay special attention to Safety Precautions.
If you pass this Unit on to a thirdy party, you must also include these operating instructions. Please
keep these operating instructions in a safe place for any questions which may arise in future.

INTRODUCTION / TECHNICAL DATA
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Unit can be moved easily on rollers from room to room.
If Unit is moved after it has been operating for a certain period, pay attention as condensate
water could have formed inside its tank, therefore leakages of water may occur. We
recommend to move the Air Conditioner carefully.
The air quantity can be adjusted up to three ventilation levels.
Powerful refrigerated air system cools down the ambience instantly whenever you want.
Installation by a specialist is not required. Simply plug into a normal household socket with
an operating voltage of 220-240V / 50Hz.
Dehumidied and ltered air cycle improves breathing environments effectively.
Besides the remote control, your one touch electronic pad also provides easy-identifying
manual operation.
24-hour programmable Timer.
Sleep control function.
1.8 meter cord with plug.

Place the Unit in the correct upright position before unpacking.
Cut the two packing straps.
Slide the carton in an upwards motion and it will release from the base.
Grip the carry handles located on either sides of the Unit and carefully lift until it slides out
of the foam base.
Lift and lean the unit slightly to take out exhaust hose from Unit’s bottom as picture.
Install the exhaust hose on the Unit before operating the Unit.

GENERAL INFORMATION
EXHAUST HOSE INSTALL
For effective heating and cooling functions, please ensure that the following steps are undertaken:
Extend the exhaust hose to a length of
not more than 400 mm. The exhaust
hose must be kept parallel and must
not be bent up or down.
A distance of 500 mm minimum must be
kept between the lter side of the unit
and wall or any other obstacle.
When this appliance starts to defrost,
the word “DF” will be displayed on the
LED.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Do not install and use your Portable Air Conditioner Unit before carefully reading this
instruction guide. Please retain this Manual brochure for product warranty and future
reference.
BEFORE OPERATING THE UNIT
VERY IMPORTANT!
PLEASE MAKE SURE THE PRODUCT VENTILATES ALL THE TIME! Please make sure
the inlet and outlet ventilation is not blocked at all times.
Operate this Unit in an ambient of 35°C or less.
The heating function of the unit should be operated in an indoor ambient temperature
between 7°C and 23°C.
Clean air lter periodically to enjoy the most efcient cooling.
When the Unit is shut off, please wait at least 3.5 minutes before restarting it: this is to
prevent the compressor from being damaged.
This Unit needs at least 7 Amps of electricity to have its compressor operational. To avoid
the household electricity block out, please do not use any extension cord for this Unit.
This Unit is for indoor cooling, heating and dehumidifying.
When turning on the Unit, the fan will operate but the compressor will start up after the
cooling alarm ashes for three minutes. In heating function, the heating alarm will ash
for 3.5 minutes before the compressor and fan start up.
When the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the Authorized Technical Service,
in order to avoid hazard.
In order to dispose the appliance safely, please remove the batteries from the Unit before
scrapping it.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
The air conditioner can be connected only to a supply with system impedance no more
than 0.219 Ω. In case necessary, please consult the Authorized Technical Service for
system impedance information.

CONTROL PANEL
POWER KEY
Press this button to switch on/off the Unit.
FUNCTION
Press this button to select the functions “Cooling” , “Heating” or “Dehumidify”.
TEMPERATURE REGULATION KEY (UP)
In “Cooling” mode, every time the button is pressed, temperature rises by 1°C, up to a
maximum value of 30°C.
In “Heating” mode, every time the button is pressed, temperature rises by 1°C, up to a
maximum value of 25°C.
TEMPERATURE REGULATION KEY (DOWN)
In “Cooling” mode, every time the button is pressed, temperature lowers by 1°C, up to a
minimum value of 17°C.
In “Heating” mode, every time the button is pressed, temperature lowers by 1°C, up to a
minimum vaue of 15°C.

LED DISPLAY
The display shows room temperature.
If you press TEMP+ button or TEMP- button, the required target temperature is briey
displayed.
If you press TIMER button, the number of hours is briey shown until the activation
(automatic start of air conditioner) or deactivation (automatic stop of air conditioner).
After each manual setting, the display automatically shows the ambient temperature.
• Error messages are also shown in the display.

CONTROL PANEL
SPEED
Press this button to set the ventilation speed to “LOW”, “MID” (“Middle”), “HI” (“High”) or
“AUTO”.
If during Cooling function, “AUTO” is selected, “HIGH” or “MEDIUM” or “LOW” will be
selected automatically according to the difference between setting temperature and ambient
temperature.

Note: In “Heating” function and “Dehumidifying” function, this key is invalid
because the Unit is defined to be “High” speed in “Heating” mode and “Low”
speed in “Dehumidifying” mode.
PROGRAMMABLE TIMER
Button for selecting programmable automatic start/stop of Mobile Air Conditioner
HMCZ 95 F.
Time interval for automatic start: This function is used for automatic start of Unit at the
end of set time interval. Proceed in the following way:
1. When Unit is powered but not in operation, press TIMER button to select time interval
(number of hours) at the end of which Unit will automatically start operation.
2. Once the set hour has come to an end, the unit will turn on automatically.
3. Press the POWER key before time out, the setting time will be cancelled and the Unit
will turn on.
4. You can set the function and fan speed while setting the Timer.
Time interval for automatic stop: This function is used for automatic stop of Unit at the end

of set time interval. Proceed in the following way:
1. During Unit’s operation, press TIMER button to select time interval (number of hours)
at the end of which Unit will automatically stop operation.
2. As soon as set time interval (number of hours) has expired, Unit automatically stops
operation.
3. If POWER button is pressed before set time interval has expired, TIMER setting is
cancelled and Unit switches off.
8. SLEEP
Press this button to select “Sleep” function.
1. While in Cooling mode, press the SLEEP key to set the temperature. It increases 1°C
after an hour and at most increases 2°C after 2 hours.
2. While in Heating mode, press the SLEEP key to set the temperature. It decreases 1°C
after an hour and at most decreases 2°C after 2 hours.
3. Press the SLEEP key again can cancel the setting.
ALARM
When the water tank is full, “E4” is displayed on the display panel. To resume operation,
please remove the rubber cap of the drain hose to drain out the water rstly. The “E4”
warning will disappear after draining, and you can restart the Unit by pressing the POWER
key.

UNIT’S OPERATION
This Unit has a self-evaporating function for condensation water, so that it is normally not
necessary to empty the water tank in “Cooling” mode.
When the Unit is operating in the “Cooling” function, it does not need the drain pipe installed.
Please make sure that the rubber cap is locked on drain hole, when the Unit is running.
When operating the “Heating” function, the “¬" rubber cap on drain hole should be pulled
out and install a proper drain pipe in order to improve the heating effect.
When operating the “Dehumidifying” function, the “¬” rubber cap on drain hose should
be pulled out and install a proper drain hose.
Please remove the air exhaust hose, connect a drain hose to the drain hole and lead the
water to the outside in order to intensify dehumidifying capacity.
When the water tank is full, “E4” will be displayed on the display panel. Please remove the
rubber cap “¬” of the drain hole to drain out the water rst. After the drainage is completed,
please restart the unit and then the unit can operate normally.

HEATING EFFECT
If you want to use the heating function, please carry out the following steps:
Take off the exhaust duct from the Unit, by rotating it in the direction of the arrow in Fig. 1.
Insert the air outlet’s joint part (accessory supplied with the Unit) after removing the matching
portion of cold air outlet grille, as shown in Fig. 2.
Install the exhaust pipe on the air outlet’s joint part, as indicated in Fig. 3.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE OF AIR CONDITIONER
MAINTENANCE
Before performing any maintenance operation, check that the power plug is disconnected from
the wall power socket.
Please follow the instructions below:
Clean the outside of the Unit by using a damp
cloth and polish with a dry soft cloth.
Do not use any solvent, by-products of oil,
abrasive powders or chemical products in
general in order to avoid damaging the plastic
external surfaces.
2. Cleaning the outside of the air conditioner
If the lters are dirty, the appliance’s performance
decreases. Please clean the lters beforr rst
use of air conditioner and then at regular
intervals, every two weeks.
The evaporator’s lter and the condenser’s lter
can be removed by simply pulling the frame
upwards, in the direction on the arrows shown
in the Figure.
Clean the air lters with a vacuum cleaner,
ensuring all dust is removed.

CORRECT USE OF AIR CONDITIONER
PLACE FOR USE
Because the machine distributes hot air, please don’t place or operate in a narrow
place.
In case of dangerous leak, don’t work the machine in a humid place.
Don’t place the machine in a sunlit corner otherwise the Unit might shut down due to
the overheat and the colour of the machine may soon fade out.

HELPFUL HINTS
The Unit is tted with a special thermal cut off device.
Please ensure the Unit is not placed against objects which will obstruct air intake e.g.
furniture or curtains as this will affect its performance dramatically.
