Important safety aspects to take into consideration
• Make sure that the tractor/loader can carry the equivalent tool type and weight.
• Make sure that for this sweeper the carrier has a suitable hydraulic oil flow.
• Make sure that no unauthorised persons are loitering in the machine’s working area when working
with the machine or carrying out servicing.
• Always use the dust covers for the quick-couplings when the machine is disconnected, to prevent
dirt getting into the hydraulic system.
Safety
This instruction manual is intended to be used as a guide for the correct use and maintenance of the
machine. Study the manual carefully before starting and operating the machine and before any
preventive maintenance is carried out. A lot of time has been spent on designing and manufacturing
the machine so that it will be as efficient and safe as possible, all of which will be of little use if you
do not read, understand and follow the instructions. Familiarise yourself with the product and all the
instructions, and keep the instruction manual safe so that it is always readily at hand when using the
machine.
NB
THIS MANUAL HAS BEEN PREPARED FOR ALL OUR MARKETS AND MAY THEREFORE INCLUDE DIFFERENT
EQUIPMENT FOR SPECIFIC MARKETS. PLEASE IGNORE THE SECTIONS THAT DO NOT APPLY TO YOUR
MACHINE.
We continuously strive to improve our products and therefore reserve the right to change design
specifications and implement improvements whenever we consider this necessary; however, such
improvements will not be made to products that have already been delivered or put to work. We also
reserve the right to change data and equipment without prior notice, as well as instructions for
maintenance and other service procedures.
The operator is responsible for ensuring that:
Please pay special attention to the warning symbols.
Make sure you tighten the screw joint reinforcement.
The machine is not used or handled incorrectly.
That any warning labels on the machine are legible.
Unauthorised persons do not use the machine or remain within the machine’s
working area during its operation or maintenance.

Description
The wireless control to run Holms attachments is divided
in 2 units. Transmitter and receiver. The transmitter is
mounted inside the drivers cabin close to the person
running the machine, it controlls the attachment thats
being used. The receiver is mounted on to the attachment.
The system is communicating wireless by radio, 2.4GHz.
The receiver scans all chanels and chooses the one with
less interuptions and directs the transmitter to it.
The receiver will save the latest transmitter that was
connected and will at start up try to connect to that one. If
that transmitter doesn’t respond the receiver will search
for another avalible transmitter. I new transmitter may be
installed during a certain amount of time (20 sec). The
communication is controlled so that correct messages is
received with certain time interval. In case of
communication problems the transmitter is automaticly
set to go into safe mode.

Description transmitter
The transmitter is basically a box with electronic’s. You
manouvre it with the buttons on the display. There are
eight buttons on the display with ten associated LEDs,
see figure 2. The buttons have different functions
depending on which attachment is connected.
The transmitter is equipped with automatic adjustment of
the brigtness in the diode lamps. The adjustment is done
when you start the system, it is also possible to manually
adjust by pushing button number 4 while running the
system (all the diode lamps will then be turned off during
the time when it’s meassured).
The transmitter is connected with the cable to the electric
outlet, 12V or 24V inside the cabin.
The transmitter is equipped with a overflow guard, see
“Fault finding” page 20.
Description receiver
The receiver is a box with electronics and cabling. The
cabels may be connected to electric outlet 12V or 24V,
electric valve on hydraulic block or on the electric water
pump and to the lights. This all depends on what type of
attachment you are about to use and how it is equipped.
To reduce risk of injury, always make sure to have
the wireless control mounted inside the drivers
cabin.

Connecting to joystick
The functions on the transmitter may be connected to the
carriers manouvre unit for example the Joystick. This
requires a separate “connection pack” including contact
block and cabling (the connection pack has to be orderd
separate). A spring-back pressure switch is also needed
for each function.
To run the most frequent functions thru the Joystick use
the circuit diagrams special functions, see “Special
function 1 and 2” page 18.
Mounting instruction (transmitter-joystick)
1. Remove the inlet plugg from the transmitter.
2. Open the transmitter (4 screws on the rear).
3. Put the cable (from the connection pack) with the 4
conductors through the hole and mount the inlet.
4. Connect the power (any conductor) to the contact
block (see figure 5) connection number 9.
5. Choose functions according to diagram 7 and 8 (the
functions on the buttons are sorted by attachment).
6. Connect the other 3 conductors to the contact block,
use connection 1-8, see “Connecting
instructiononteringsanvisning (från sändare till
spakknopp (tillbehör)).” page 18).
7. Mount the contact block on the circuit card in position
J1 (figure 6).
8. Mount the rear plate on the transmitter.
9. Make sure to tighten where the cable runs into the
transmitter.
10. Connect the conductors to the carriers Joystick
according to the diagram in figure 7 on page 18.
Check with the manufacturer of the carrier how the
connection to the joystick is done.

Overload protector
The circuit card have a overload protector connected to
all outlets. At power more than 20A button number 3 and
5 will start to blink. The over load protector is reset by
button number 4, if the overload continues the buttons
will still be blinking, otherwise everything will go back
to normal.
Function 9 and 10 on the front
Constant light on function 9 (flash)
Radio contact broken between the machine unit and receiver.
Machine unit has been switched off?
Could be a loose connection.
Constant light function 10 (battery)
Low voltage on the machine unit.
The reason is probably a voltage drop
Check the wiring and connectors
Blinking light function 10 (battery)
Low voltage on the handset.
Check system voltage. Should be over 12v.
Check the vehicle’s alternator.
Constant light function 9 (flash) + constant
light function 10 (battery).
Low voltage on the machine unit, which has switched off the machine
unit.
Check the wiring
There may be poor connection and voltage drop.
Check system voltage. At least 12v.
Flashing function 9 (flash) constant light
function 10 (battery) and flashing buttons 1–
8 except 4.
The system has lost radio contact. If the button that was pressed flashes
in the eight, this shows current consumption is too high.
There could be a short circuit in the function.
The connection is broken immediately after
the units have connected.
When ploughing, buttons 6, 7 or 8 can be activated. When button 6 or 7
is activated, the magnetic coils are powered as soon as the units are
connected. If there is poor connection, this is broken and all lights on the
panel are lit for a short time. - Reason: Poor contact.
