Top up and Tara functions
These features allow you to weigh ingredients gradually added onto the scale, without
removing the previously weighed ones.
1. Place the rst batch on the scale; its weight will appear on the display.
2. Press ZERO to set display value to zero.
3. Now, more ingredients can be added. The display will show the weight of the new
ingredients.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 with more ingredients as necessary.
Top up: If the total sum of the weights of all batches on the scale is less than 200 g, the
topping-up function will be used automatically. The scale resets after each keypress.
On each press of ZERO, the display will show “ ----- “ or “0“. „ ----- “ means the scale
plate is unstable; wait a moment for “0“ to show. Once “0” is displayed, an “O” icon will
also come on to the left of the display, signifying the top up function is active. Maximum
load capacity does not change.
Tara: If the total sum of the weights of all batches on the scale is more than 200 g, the
TARA function will be used automatically. On rst press of ZERO, the total weight /
volume of all items will be displayed. On second press of ZERO, the scale will reset to
zero, after which you may continue weighing. The display will show “ ----- “ or “0“. „ ----- “
means the scale plate is unstable; wait a moment until “0“ shows. Once “0” is displayed,
a “T” icon will also come on at top left of the display, signifying the Tara function is active.
Maximum load will be reduced by the total weight of all current items.
Switching weighing units
Press UNIT on the underside of the scale to switch between metric (g / ml) and imperial
(lb:oz / ’oz) units of measurement. When the scale switched on, press the button. The
display shows the currently used unit of measurement. Press the button again to change
the unit.
When metric is selected, the default units are “g“ and “ml“.
When imperial is selected, the default units are “lb:oz“ and “’oz“.
Turning off the scale
The scale will automatically turn off after 2 minutes of inactivity.
Error messages on the display
Overload. If you load the scale more than
the permissible limit, this error message will
