Figure 3 and Figure 4 show the Break Glass Kit and the FFT-STS door with keylock.
3 System Wiring
The maximum riser wiring resistance is 50 ohms, 10,000 ft. (3048 m) maximum wiring distance at 14AWG. System wiring for telephones with coiled
cord handsets must not be connected to the outside wiring or run in the same conduit or cable tray as the power or cable TV lines.
4 Assembly of Units with Coiled Cord Handsets
The following assembly steps are used for telephones with coiled cord handsets. These steps must be accomplished once the enclosure has been
mounted and the system wiring is in place.
1. Attach the system wiring to the terminal block on the telephone chassis assembly.
2. Insert the 6-32” nut in the backbox. Do not tighten.
3. Install the telephone chassis assembly in backbox.
4. Insert the trim ring on the backbox with the 6-32” wing nuts. Do not tighten.
5. Install door assembly. Tighten wing nuts.
