Check the position of the manual handle and release it to the neutral position (high-speed button).
The handle will go in both directions freely.
Turn the speed control knob all the way to neutral position (full counter-clock wise).
Plug the reel into the recommended Hubbell plug power source.
You will hear a series of beeps and then a pause. Another beep will sound signaling that it recognized
the neutral position.
After you hear that last beep you may begin to use the reel as needed. The knob will operate the real from
neutral to full-speed.
If for any reason you loose power or choose to fight the fish manually, UNPLUG the reel from the power source
and press the button on the handle (low-speed) to engage the manual operation. The reel will work as normal
with little resistance.

After each fishing event, the reel should be first wiped or wash with warm fresh water to remove any accumulated deposits. Do not use a
pressured source of water which will force deposits into the reel’s internal mechanisms. Instead, use a fine spray to clean the housing.
Dry then sparingly lubricate all exposed areas with pressurized spray oil while avoiding the fishing line.
